Red/Orange Lights Seen Twice Over Saint Gregory's Church by Sobeys Plaza In Cambridge Ontario

Report 1 - Hello, my name is (name removed) and I have seen strange lights in the sky twice now.

The first one I saw on Canada Day and was pretty much exactly as you described, also heading west it was reddish/orange, more orange than red moving slowly and slowly dying out.

This was by Saint Gregory's Church by Sobeys Plaza in Cambridge.

Report 2 - The second one I saw was much different, non moving, but blinking different colors with small little lights around it, and this was just across the street from the original place that I saw the first one.

This second sighting happened just last night which prompted me to investigate a little.

Three YouTube videos and Google this is how I found your website. I describe my first sighting to a friend of mine who replied that he also has seen these reddish/orange lights twice, is there anything else you know about these lights or anybody else seeing them?

Couple Dozen Orange Lights In The Sky Over Newmarket Ontario

Time:  Evening.

Hello Brian, I live in Newmarket and saw something strange tonight. I just Googled it, hoping to find some sort of explanation/news article, but couldn't find anything. However, I did find your site and it seems we saw the same thing. 

I'm hoping you can shed some light on the situation, pun intended. I was out taking my dog for a walk earlier tonight and saw a couple dozen orange lights rising out of the south and floating northwest. 

My wife and a  few of my neighbours noticed as well. We were all standing there on our street is shock; we couldn't figure out what they could be. Any ideas?

Numerous Orange Lights In The Sky Seen From Southlake Hospital In Newmarket Ontario

I saw many orange lights at 19:40hrs tonight as I left Southlake Hospital in Newmarket. I witnessed this with two others.

Around 100 Orange Lights Flying In The Sky Over Newmarket Ontario

Hello, my husband was out bbq and saw many lights, orange flying over our town heading from the south to the northwest, approximately 100 or more.

White Silver Colored Boomerang Shaped UFO Seen In The Sky Over Hudson's Hope British Columbia

Hello Brian, my name is (name removed), I have been given your email from (name removed).

I have known her for a couple years as I date her brother. Anyhow I am now working in Hudson's Hope B.C. 88 km south of Fort. St. John.

On October. 13, 2012, at 12:04 p.m. I was talking with my girlfriend on the phone, while being lazy on the sofa, I was just looking around when I noticed a object in the sky.

It was a clear day, very little cloud and the object was a white silver color boomerang shaped, it was going in a down direction for a couple minutes, very, very slow then stopped at this point.

I noticed it went side ways to the right (west) and dropped down again. For about two minutes then it seemed to pull away until it was out of sight. I did call my daughter to come to the living room and her boyfriend, they watched it as well with me in total awe.

I tried to use my video camera to tape the thingy, but when I tried to watch the video, well my cam does not work, the memory chip is only fuzzy. Now and still to this date can not get the cam to work at all.

Light Moving In Circles In The Sky Over Barrhaven Ottawa Ontario (Searchlight)

Date:  October 20, 2012
Time:  Approx: 11:00 p.m.

I saw this to around 11:00 p.m., thought it was a search light or spotlight from the airport since it's nearby, but it was too far north west to be from the airport.

I watched it for a long time, filter in and out of the clouds. I have never seen this kind of light before in this area.

Additional Information:
Just thought of something, there is a search light at Lac Leamy Casino in Quebec, maybe we saw that?

 

Update:
A person wrote into the Vike Factor with the explanation as to what the lights were. Below is their report.

I also saw these lights in the south end, they were see-able in the south on Highway 31/bank near the Hindu temple. Also when I went to the Wal-Mart
they were clear in the dark night sky.

It was a spot-light that was geographically near the South Keys Wal-Mart, because the light beams were clear and bright. I still couldn't pin-point the origin of these lights, but it seemed to be closer to this location than any other.

There was 1 or 2 spot lights that were swirling in the sky in circular patterns.
