Large Red Spherical Bright Light Over Delaware Ontario

Date: March 7, 2011
Time: 9:05 - 9:15 p.m.

Number of witnesses: 1
Number of Objects: 1
Shape of Objects: Rectangular/spherical.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was going out to the country to stargaze. Now, I live in a small country town anyway, but I was going out to the country for pure dark skies. I pulled out of my driveway and noticed a large spherical bright light red "object" (think of a lighter colored Betelgeuse) in the northwestern skies.

This was bigger than any star I've seen, but not quite as big as the moon. I think somewhere between a star and the moon. I thought it could have been Saturn, because Saturn is out this time of year. I dismissed this however because it was still relatively early in the evening and Virgo (the constellation in which Saturn is viewed) was not out yet.

Also, this thing was a monster. Like I said, no star or planet could compare to this "thing" in size. Driving to the end of my street and turning right I looked to the northwest again and noticed the sphere had disappeared. Driving for a little longer, about 40 seconds, I saw some "thing", flying through the sky. Not like any plane I've seen before at night.

I've not seen a plane travel that slow, not that it was moving slowly, but also, what it was I saw was definitely lower in the atmosphere than any plane travels. I also noticed the lights on it were not like a plane lights either. There were bright white-blue lights that appeared to be all over the "thing". It look like it could have been rectangular in shape.

Startled by all of this (I couldn't believe what I was witnessing!) I pulled over my car and got out. The "thing" then flew toward the northeastern sky and was obscured from my view from trees.

Object With Green And White Glow With Trail Seen Over Mississauga Ontario

Date: March 24, 2011
Time: 10:45 p.m.

I was walking the dog and happened to look into the sky and got a glimpse of this object for about a second or two before it disappeared behind houses. It was large, seemed to have a green/white glow and trail behind it.

I also have seen many shooting stars. This was not a shooting star. Trajectory was very steep, and because of the size, seemed close.

Huge Ball Of Fire Falling From The Sky Over Ottawa Ontario

Date: March 24, 2011
Time: 10:39 p.m.

I saw it at 10:39pm, March 24, 2011. I live in Ottawa, across the Ottawa River facing north on Carling Ave., and Bayshore Drive.

It happened so fast. I just happened to look up at the sky and saw this big ball of fire appear shooting straight down to the river or further. I was so moved by this.

This was not a shooting star by any means. It was beautiful. I can't find anything in the local papers. Please keep in contact.

Strange Flashing/Flickering Object Over Saskatoon Saskatchewan

Date: March 24, 2011
Time: 11:00 p.m.

Number of witnesses: 3
Number of Objects: 1
Shape of Objects: Spherical.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I looked out my bedroom window tonight and noticed a strange flashing/flickering star like object. At first I thought it might be a star, but as I continued to watch, it appeared to kind of dance back and forth while at the same time flashing red, blue and yellow lights, and it seemed to be hovering in roughly the same location for at least ten minutes.

I attempted to film the object, but in all the excitement and darkness I was unable to get a recording, however. I did see the object through the camera's zoom and it was definitely not an airplane or a star. I watched the object for around fifteen minutes before it finally disappeared beyond the tree line to the southwest. I was just really curious to see if any one else in the Saskatoon area had noticed this. The object appeared to be hovering southwest of ! the city. Thank you.

4 Orange Lights Over Cooper Creek British Columbia

Date: March 23, 2011
Time: 6:10 p.m.

Location of Sighting: Cooper Creek, B.C. N from Kaslo, B.C.
Number of witnesses: 1
Number of Objects: 4
Shape of Objects: Round.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I saw four orange lights travelling at a high rate rate of speed from North to South. The lights were visible for a few seconds at a time, then as they travelled would not be visible for a few seconds, then they would reappear, having travelled approximately 10 degrees. This sequence continued for the duration of the sighting (approximately thirty seconds from horizon to horizon).

The lights seemed to be at a high elevation and travelling much faster than a jet. The lights appeared to be flying in close formation only varying slightly in forward speed.

Large Ball Of White Fire Between Woodstock And Cambridge Ontario

Date: March 24, 2011
Time: 10:45 p.m.

Number of witnesses: 2
Number of Objects: 1
Shape of Objects: Sphere.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: It looked like a large ball of white fire dropping from the sky to the ground. I have seen shooting stars before, this was no shooting star. Both my son and I saw it and were amazed. We were driving eastbound between Woodstock and Cambridge, Ontario when we saw it right in front of us to the north.

Very large and unusual. Still perplexed and looking for other mention of sightings or reports of meteors or something to explain this remarkable sight.

If you have seen anything like this in the same area please be kind enough to contact Brian Vike at: sighting@telus.net with the details of your sighting. All personal information is kept confidential.
