9 Or 10 Orange Colored Objects/Lights Over Aldergrove British Columbia

Date: February 22, 2011
Time: 10:00 p.m.

Number of witnesses: 1
Number of Objects: 9 to 10.
Shape of Objects: Orange objects/lights.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: 9 or 10 objects, orange in colour, flew overhead as I was walking to my house. They emitted a bright orange light which was brighter than the stars in the background. The objects seemed to be flying in random formation, like a kit of pigeons. They seemed to cross the entire length of the sky in no more than two seconds. It first appeared as a shooting star, but as it passes overhead, I could see there was multiple lights.

Bright Bluish White Object Breaks Up Over Comox Vancouver Island British Columbia (Meteor - Fireball)

Date: December 8, 2010
Time: Approx: 6:00 p.m.

Dear Sir, I ran across your website while searching for others who might have sighted a really bright meteor/fireball over Comox at around 18:00 on 08 December. I think I might have seen the same object you did. I think it was a type of meteorite, what they call a fireball or bolide. I actually reported it to some kind of network, but have never heard back from them. Anyway, here's an excerpt of the report I sent in, see if it sounds like what you saw.

Best Regards.

Any reports of bright meteors or fireballs from Courtenay area around 17:30 - 18:00 on 08 December 2010? A colleague and I had an interesting sighting of what appeared to be a very bright meteor/fireball last night. We were returning to Comox on the Queen of Chilliwack, having caught the 16:45 sailing from Powell River. I don't know the exact time, but I estimate we were about 30 minutes or so out of Comox when the sighting occurred (we could see the lights of Comox ahead).

What we saw was a very bright bluish-white object which appeared to break apart into about 3-4 smaller pieces and left a long very bright trail. I believe it may have been visible for as long as 4-5 seconds. We were sitting on the port side of the vessel and so were more or less looking south when we saw it at. I estimate the object was moving toward the south/southwest.

I cannot say whether there was any associated sound because were were inside during the sighting and viewed it through the window. I am no astronomer, but I have seen a lot of meteors over the years. I usually make a point of sitting out for the Perseids, for example. This was by far the most spectacular thing I have ever seen. My colleague saw it also. Did anyone else report seeing something like this around the same time/place?

Date: 08/12/2010
Time: 17:30 - 18:00 PST

Cloud: Not sure - there was some, but it didn't interfere with our sighting.

Location: Sorry, I can't provide coordinates from a topographic map. We were sailing from Powell River to Comox on the Queen of Chilliwack. Sighting occurred when we were approximately 30 minutes out (i.e., offshore) of the ferry terminal at Comox.

If the vessel's bow is taken to be the end of the vessel that is pointing at Vancouver Island, then we were sitting on the left side of the vessel, looking roughly south when the sighting occurred. From this perspective the object first appeared in the upper left hand corner of the window frame, got brighter and began leaving trail that persisted for a few seconds; pieces broke off and then the whole thing gradually faded.

Beginning_azimuth: ~ NE.
Ending_azimuth: ~ SW.
Magnitude: Not sure - is there a visual chart one can use for comparison?
Moon: Much brighter - similar to how an arc welder would look about 10 m away.
Duration: ~ 4-5
Speed: medium-slow.
Flares: About 3-4 fragments broke off it as we watched, traveling at about the same speed and trajectory.
Colour: Bluish-white; (perhaps a bit of orange).
Train: Yes - it persisted for perhaps 3-4 seconds (an estimate).

Moon Sized UFO And Missing Time For Husband And Wife On Holidays

Date: Late August 1977

Dear Brian, here's a experience involving the moon. We left for vacation driving at night from Vegas to Colo, this happened in late August 1977. We left the house about midnight, took the old Salt Lake Highway out of Vegas and had just crossed from Nevada into Utah. I was watching the sky as usual and I remember it was full moon and things were very bright, for some reason the desert really lights up in moon light and we could see a long distance.

I had been looking out the back window, (at this point in my life I didn't actually know for sure why I was always so watchful of the night sky.) I did know there were a lot of sightings in my life from the time I was a teenager and later remembered another when I could been no more than 8 or 9 years old. Once I remembered the abductions it really went back to pre school, with what I thought was skeletons around my bed at night. I think it would be easy for a child to mistake greys for skeletons.

At any rate I was looking at the Big Dipper laying low in the sky and the moon was coming up farther to the east. When I turned back facing forward I noticed for a second what looked like the moon to my right higher in the sky, I realized it should not be in that position. I spoke to my husband, he didn't answer, he stared straight a head like he was in a trance. I grabbed the arm rest and rolled down the window to see better. It wasn't the moon as it was descending at a pretty fast rate, but it was a large round white light that looked to be the shape of a ball coming down toward us.

Three UFOs Observed Outside Of Shelburne Ontario

Date: November 2010 or first week of December 2010.
Time: Approx: 9:30 p.m.

I was driving home one night at around 9:30pm. I was on 3rd lane from Orangeville heading north towards Shelburne. I was just outside of Shelburne when I noticed a light in the sky. It was very strange because it looked like a spot light in the sky and it looked like the object was looking for something. It moved in a circle around one point, then the spotlight stopped and 2 other lights came up to it.

They moved together then apart. Then in a flash, shot across the sky. In less then a second it was gone. It was the strangest thing I ever saw. I'm not even sure what else it could have been. Nothing can go from stand still to moving that fast.

Additional Information:

It was around the last week of November 2010 or first week of December 2010. I know it was that time for sure because it was when I quit my second job and I was driving home from there.

Bright White Object Seen Over Peachland British Columbia Canada

Date: February 23, 2011
Time: 7:00 p.m.

Hi Brian, this is not the first report we have submitted. We have seen many strange things in the sky here. It was 7:00 pm, Thursday Feb 23rd, 2011 and my partner were out having a smoke when he called me out to see a bright white object drifting or gliding from SW to NE on a clear night.

It cloaked out as soon as it was near the city of Kelowna. No noise, no blinking, roundish with quite a sparkle and was flying low. It maintained it’s basic shape from the front of it all the way through it’s path to the the rear of it. It was not like an orb at all, which we have seen here in Peachland on more than one occasion. Wonder if anyone out there had seen it too but it was very chilly out. Military? Thanks Brian.

Bright Ball Of Light Over Kincardine Ontario - ISS (International Space Station)

Date: February 22, 2011
Time: 7:30 p.m.

A Vike Factor Note: The ball of light turned out to be the ISS, but I do not know what the bright flash of light was.

Did you hear anything about the night of February 22, 2011, because I was out in my backyard with my friends when I saw a bright ball of light, about cloud height that moved in a similar fashion to a satellite.

It started going across the sky, about 2 minutes later, it disappeared up into the night sky, about 5 minutes later a huge flash of light lit up the sky like lighting, but when we looked up nothing was there. I was hoping that you of all people could explain to me what happened on that night thank you. Yours truly.

Additional Information: Kincardine, Ontario Canada, 7:30pm first sighting second within 5 min , the light was round with some sharp light about the middle of it and it ascended into the sky after traveling across it
