Bright White Light Over Whitby On Rossland Road West Towards Oshawa Ontario

Date: Spring 1994
Time: Approx: 11:00 p.m.

Hi Brian, I wanted to report the same strange observation by myself and three other witnesses in Spring 1994 at night on the corner of Thornton Rd N and Rossland Road West.

I was driving in Whitby on Rossland Road West towards Oshawa, Ontario. We could see all the nice lights over Oshawa as we where still in Whitby.

I was driving towards Oshawa and we where just about to make it on the corner of Thornton Rd N and Rossland Road West before driving down the hill towards Oshawa when we noticed a round bright white light move extremely slow in the sky and moving downwards.

It should have been past 11:00pm as we watched this for about 15-20 seconds. We where all trying to figure out what it was and then I shouted out to the other three people that it must be a UFO! All of a sudden it faded out in a fashion that the light shrunk and zapped upwards in the sky like a fallen star, but rather going upwards in the sky. Now how can an object so “big”, become so small very quickly and zap upwards in the sky?

As another witness wrote on your site of what he saw on Friday night, June 25th 2010. I will quote that the same details below happened the exact same to use 4 witnesses.

‘’When we first witnessed this slow round white light. It was at it's brightest point for about 10-15 seconds, until I shouted to the witnesses it was a UFO. As after I shouted out to the witnesses. I noticed it was starting to fade after ten seconds. The total time watching it would be about 15 -20 seconds.”

Strange Lights Over Hudson Bay Mountain In Smithers British Columbia

Date: December 14, 2010
Time: Approx: 5:30 p.m.

Hello, its good to see I'm not the only one seeing these weird lights in the sky. Tonight around 5:30 pm, I saw a very bright light appear above Hudson Bay Mountain. It moved a few yards and disappeared. I've lived in Smithers for 10 years now, and only in this last year have I seen constant sightings in the same area and out towards Telkwa, since May 2010.

I'm just very curious. I've never been much of a believer in the phenomenon, but I've seen some strange stuff, in my opinion? I don't know what to say, but I'm seeing something that defies everything I know to be normal and explainable. I am not sure what to think or believe. Simply, I just know it is real whatever it is, so what is it? Hope to hear back from you if you hear anything. Thank you.

Blue Green Object Lights Up Witnesses Property At Quenville Area Of Courtenay British Columbia

Date: December 8, 2010
Time: Around 6:00 p.m. or 6:30 p.m.

Ok, I don't know what I saw but here it is -

On Wednesday Dec. 8 around 6 or 6:30 PM I was walking my dogs around on my property in the Quenville area of Courtenay, which is near the Comox AFB. I had a flashlight, when all of a sudden the area around me lit up like lightening does before it strikes. I looked up thinking I'd see lightening, but instead, I saw a bluish-green object, not quite a ball shaped thing with a long tail above me heading south along the general area of Quenville road.

It was a few hundred feet above me, but made no sound. The light it made above me lasted for approximately 4-5 seconds then the thing disappeared. I thought it could be fireworks, but then again, there was no sound. Also, it could not have been that high if it could light up my property, and we have about 2.5 acres. Could it have been a meteor? I did call the AFB and talked to Operations. They had no information and had not received other calls (as of that night).

So what do you think it was? Did anyone else report a similar thing on that night? Thanks.

Rectangular Object Seen Over Forest Grove Saskatoon Saskatchewan

Date: December 6, 2010
Time: 8:00 a.m.

Number of witnesses: 1
Number of Objects: 1
Shape of Objects: Linear vertical spear of light.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: There was a plane also flying up from the south with a long tail of contrail behind it. There was a shape like a line, but a small one just a tick, long enough to look linear and not circular or orb like a star or something.

This was more a rectangular I guess. Sun had not fully risen, so at first I thought it was just a star. After watching it for a while I decided it was odd and probably some type of UFO.

Unknown Clusters Of Blue Green Lights Making Strange Maneuvers Over Calgary Alberta

Date: December 1, 2010
Time: Approx: 9:00 p.m.

I just found a post at http://the-v-factor-paranormal.blogspot.com/2010/12/bright-blue-light-spotted-over-calgary.html while searching for any possible sightings over Calgary Alberta on December 1st at around 9:00pm.

From my back yard in the southeast of Calgary, myself and two friends witnessed a strange "cluster" of lights moving at an unknown altitude in the northern sky moving quite quickly from east to west. After a discussing it with one of my friends, I realized that the object I was looking at and commenting on was not the same object one of my friends was watching. The other was similar except smaller and moving from west to east.

When they got into a close proximity to each other, one above and one below, we realized that a good deal of the sky seemed iridescent with smaller individual bluish-green lights. These smaller individual lights were moving around each other in random patterns, then grouping together with the two clusters that had now stopped in the sky.

When all of the smaller individual lights had cleared the sky (presumably after grouping with the two clusters) the cluster which had been moving from west to east began moving west again and quickly vanished. The cluster that had been moving from east to west began moving east again quickly, but did not vanish entirely.

Instead it stopped after a moment and appeared to get smaller over time until approximately 9:20 pm when it either became indistinguishable from the stars around it or vanished completely.

I attempted to take a picture, but couldn't get anything to appear in the view screen display on the camera due to the darkness so it wasn't until the next day when I transferred the pic to my computer that I realized that something had shown up.

I have attached the picture. The cluster that was traveling east to west appears roughly in the center bottom quarter with the smaller lights in a wispy pattern in the upper left corner. Had I not seen the "clusters" I would have dismissed the rest as being some sort of charged particles in atmosphere or other similar disturbance.

I'm not sure how easily any of this can be explained away, but I would ask that you examine the photo and discuss it with me before you post it anywhere or comment on it in any forum.

Please feel free to share it with Brian however, the individual who made the post which I am commenting on.

Thanks for your time.

Bright White Lights Over West Vancouver British Columbia

Date: December 4, 2010
Time: After midnight.

Hi Brian, this is in response to the lights you said you saw over the mountains to the north from Kits Beach last July. Well last Saturday around just after midnight, a friend was driving us back to the North shore from downtown over the Lions Gate bridge.

There was a check stop, so the traffic was moving quite slow. While crawling along the bridge I noticed a set of bright white lights that were hovering just over the crest of the mountains behind West Vancouver (just west of the British Properties, if you know the area).

Watching them, they slowly dipped back behind the mountains then reappeared several times over the course of about 15 minutes. We tried to speculate on what they could be, but had no idea. Definitely not a helicopter, and it was in a non-residential forested area, with houses nowhere even near. Thought it was weird enough to do a Google search, and your posting came up which I thought closely matched what we saw.

If you have heard anything about this, I would be interested to know more. If not, well I guess Ill just have to keep an eye out up there for more! Cheers,
