Date: July 1, 2010
Time: 10:15 p.m.
Hi there, at 10:15pm July 1st, 2010 over Cambridge, On. My wife and I saw an orange ball of fire that moved north to south for about 15 seconds before disappearing out of our line of sight. It moved at a steady speed like a airplane and was way to big for a satellite. Any idea as to that it was?

Orange Light Seen Over Garson Ontario
Date: July 1,2010
Time: 10:20 p.m.Location of Sighting: Garson Ontario
Number of witnesses: Approx: 10
Number of Objects: 1
Shape of Objects: Ball.
Full Description of Event/Sighting: This is the second time I have witnessed this object. The first time was about a month ago. It is an orange ball of light and during the first sighting it was flying lower and appeared alot brighter, it gave the appearance of a star shape because of the brightness. Tonight it was flying higher and just appeared as a round ball of orange light. It made no sound and traveled in a straight line.
The first sighting it traveled from north to south, this time it traveled from west to east. The first time I observed it my girlfriend witnessed it as well. Tonight though, it was witnessed by my girlfriend, her son, myself, and several customers at the local Tim Hortons here. Nobody who was witnessing it could offer an explanation as to what it was or make any assumptions. Both times that I have seen this I have attempted to take pictures, but there always seems to be too much light pollution in the area that I am in. I hope someday that I can witness!
This in a place where there are no lights so that I can get a picture. If you have any questions feel free to contact me, also if you are familiar with any other sightings that are similar to mine I would love to hear about them.

Whitby Ontario (Venus Sighting)
Date: July 1, 2010
Time: Between 10:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m.
Hi there, I live in Whitby, ON. My neighbour and I watched a strange bright light in the sky last night for about an hour between 10pm-11pm (not fireworks or helicopter) last night. It appeared NW in the sky (lower than the stars appear). I actually filmed it with my HD camera and have some footage.
It moved very slowly and eventually faded out. Very strange. I zoomed in with my 200x digital zoom, but couldn’t keep it still/well focused. But I can tell you that it was circular/oval in shape, glowed-pulsed orange/yellow with pinkish centre (I paused the tape a few times to notice this).
While I believe it might be the ISS, would it stay in view for over an hour over the horizon? I don’t know. Wondering if others saw it so I went online and your comments showed up. My neighbour claims its been appearing in the same position over the last few nights. I will check again tonight for sure. Again, very weird.

7 Orange Lights Observed Over Georgetown Ontario
Date: Late Fall 2007 (?)
Time: Approx: 10:30 p.m.I too have seen this formation approximately 3 years ago. It was approximately 10:30pm in our backyard, the lights were very dim and in a V pattern. My wife and I have seen several strange lights in the sky over the Georgetown area since then that we cannot seem to explain.
After that first incident I immediately started looking on the internet for other sightings in the Georgetown area and could not really find anything current. I have checked every so often until I seen this posting. I would be curious to know if they followed any pattern or if the 7 were independent of each other.
Additional Information:
Hi, sorry it was Georgetown Ontario, we live at the more eastern end of town just before you head down into Norval. We have had several sightings of objects in the 4 years that we have lived there.
The night that I seen the 7 orange lights was in the late fall, it was cold out. The lights were very faint, I compare it to the end of a cigarette burning and it was completely silent. They stayed in a perfect V shaped pattern as it moved through the sky. It was coming from the southwest heading northeast and turned north. It caught me completely off guard and I was a bit in shock at the size.
Since then we have seen some white orb shaped lights moving at tremendous speeds and on 2 other occasions these orbs moved into a V pattern. One sighting was on Xmas Eve I think it was 3 years ago. There were lights in a clear V pattern that went overhead that were shortly followed by 2 white orbs independent of each other moving at a high rate of speed. Much faster than the ones in formation.
It has become an event for my wife and I to go out and star gaze, we have seen a lot of planes, shooting stars and satellites but I have never seen anything like the few events that we have been witness too.
I can provide more information if you wish I just cant be too long winded right now. We have not really talked much about this in the past, as soon as you mention things like this to people you start to get strange looks.

Whitby Ontario Bright White Light The International Space Station (ISS)
Date: June 25, 2010
Time: Approx: 11:47 p.m.Brian Vike's Note (Sightings.com): In regards to this sighting report and many others I have received. Folks are going to experience many extremely bright, white light sightings over the next few days. The International Space Station (ISS) will be in constant sunlight. You can also visit http://spaceflight.nasa.gov/realdata/sightings/index.html Human Space Flight to check on your area for the ISS sightings. It is a spectacular sight to see.
This information is courtesy of Space Weather.com - For the next few days, the behemoth spacecraft will be in constant sunlight as its orbit lines up with Earth's day-night terminator. This means it will shine brightly in the night sky every single time it passes overhead. Some observers can see it 3, 4, even 5 times a night! Bill Cooke of the Marshall Space Flight Center has prepared a movie showing the simulated view from a sun-facing window on the ISS and the movie clip can be found at: http://www.spaceweather.com/ along with more detailed information.
Hi Brian, hope all is good there with you to the west. I wanted to report a strange observation by myself and two other witnesses Friday night, June 25th 2010. I live in southwestern Oshawa bordering Whitby, Ontario. I was next door at my neighbor’s backyard during the late evening with three adults. We were talking in conversation and I looked up to the sky to the west-towards Whitby. I then noticed a round bright white light move extremely slow crossing the sky from south moving north.
Time was about 11:47pm est. As I watched this for about 5 seconds. I shouted out to the other three people Look, there’s a UFO ! The woman sitting beside me could see it were I pointed, as well another fellow. The third fellow missed in what section of the sky as he only had about 10 seconds to see it This white light moved in behavior that was NOT conventional. It moved very slow, as it faded out in a fashion that the light shrink from the outside to small –gone !
The attitude looked only about a few thousand feet. When I had first witnessed this slow round white light. It was at it's brightest point for about 5 seconds, until I shouted to the witnesses. As after I shouted out to the witnesses. I noticed it was starting to fade after ten seconds. The total time watching it would be about 15 -20 seconds. The woman said it was her first UFO sighting.
The other fellow mentioned that he had witnessed something in the neighborhood back, few years ago. I’m still thinking about this thing as I type this observation wondering purpose of unknown. Bloody strange and will keep watch during those future outdoor fires. Thanks for your interest and time in reading this story.
