Time: Evening.
January 6, 2008, it was a Sunday evening, it was cold and I had my window open. It was dark outside and my 3 year old cat insisted I have the window open, so he could sit on the ledge like always. I wasn't aware of what the time was, I'm usually up late. It was probably 5 minutes into the window being open that I heard a humming noise outside my window, I decided to ignore it because I was to busy to bother with it. It got louder and the noise that I heard was like that of a whirring, if you understand that. It was audible enough for anyone to hear, so I went back to working on my computer, I was thinking about the humming noise, wondered what it was, but forgot all about it. So then it was dead quiet and my cat jumped down and onto my desk and sat in front of my screen and started to get ticked off at me. He gets this way if he doesn't want to be touched, I didn't even touch him. So I move my chair back from him and sat there watching him, when he hissed at me.
My cat just sat there staring at nothing. I tried to call his attention, but he never budged, so thinking this is weird I finally got up and I turned my lights off and my monitor to my pc off and I stood right where my cat used to be, our outdoor light should automatically come on, it didn't. I was really scared, because most things like ghosts don't bother me, this did, it wasn't a ghost, this was something more stranger than that.
I closed the window really quick and walked out to the kitchen to get the garbage then I went to my sliding door in one of our back rooms and I opened it to put the garbage out and as I got out there, I saw a bright light in the sky, it was in view of my backyard. I left my cats in and I just stood there watching to see if it would move, well it moved alright, back and forth, then it stopped.
I'm thinking is this light trying to mock me for some reason. When I turned to deal with my cats fighting, when I looked back it was gone. This light was bigger than any star and it's behavior was different than any shooting star. Even outside I'm sure after this all happened and the light left, I went to the front of my house to look and see if there was anything I could attribute it to (humming), there wasn't a thing I could see making that. Most things don't scare me, because I'm into the paranormal and I investigate ghosts and hauntings.
I live in the SW part of Calgary, not even 5 minutes away from Heritage Park, so people in Calgary can get an idea of where this happened and perhaps they saw something too, January 6, 2008.
Now here is where it gets weird, a friend of mine who doesn't want to be interviewed or even talk about it, said to me, so I guess you had an interesting evening and I said, when did this occur? She said Sunday night and she told me that I should of paid closer attention. I'm thinking ok, and closer attention to what? They are aware of you, and that's all she said. I'm thinking ok and who are they that are aware of me? She said, it's not my job to explain this to you, she said in time it will be made known. Ok, I thought whatever. People who have this ability Brian to know more than we do, she shocked me and said that I to have this gift, yes I know I do, but it's a matter of how to harness it and use it properly. So whomever or whatever this was, hasn't been back since.

East Into Oshawa, Ontario Lights In A Diamond Shape Formation

HBCC UFO Research Note: The sighting came into me through submissions and I have no way of replying to the witness. The witness is anonymous to me.
I was driving East into Oshawa on the 401 traveling around 100 km/hr, the street lights were on giving off that pinkish sort of glow looking up through the front windshield to the north side of the highway there was what appeared to be a diamond shape formation. I looked closer at the lights to see if it was a reflection on the windshield and the lights moved from the left side of the road traveling towards the lake (Ontario) as they lined up with the middle of the road and myself and my passenger focused on them. They faded like lights on a dimmer switch as they traveled south. A jet passed from behind and I assume it had just taken off from Pearson and it appeared to be quite a distance higher than this group of lights.
I looked around for any cause of what might have been a reflection, but there was nothing in the area giving off white light besides on coming headlights. I wasn't going to say anything except my passenger burst out and said did you see that? What it appeared to be were several white lights like industrial mercury lights in a tight formation perfectly symmetrical. I believe 5 lights from one end to the other. The lights had the dull white size and shape of like gymnasium lights. This is the best I can describe it. They traveled maybe visible for less than a km. I'm not sure what height they were at, but way lower than the several jets that flew over. When the lights disappeared they were visible for approx 30 seconds and they faded out into what looked like lights in the fog, above us but there was no clouds and you could see the stars and jets very clearly. The lights held there formation as if they were one object. If it had just been me to see it, I would believe I may have imagined it. But it was my buddy who brought it up. There must have been at least a hundred cars in the area on the 401 plus the jets so there has to be more reports out there. Why Oshawa?

Sudbury, Ontario Blue Ball Of Fire With Tail Behind

Location of Sighting: Highway 17, Sudbury.
Number of witnesses: 1
Number of objects: 1
Shape of objects: Blue ball of fire, with red, yellow tail.
Full Description of event/sighting: I was driving NE on Highway 17 towards Sudbury, when I noticed a huge ball of fire, blue in color, it had a long red, yellowish tail, go across my windshield. It looked really close and very close to the ground. It looked like it hit NE of Sudbury. It looked like it was below the clouds.

Port Alberni, British Columbia (Sprout Lake) UFO Overtop Of Eyewitnesses

Time: Approx: 10:00 p.m.
Message: Hi, I'd like to report a "something" that was in the sky over Port Alberni, British Columbia about eight years back. I didn't know who to talk to about it. It was about 11:00 o'clock at night when my neighbors and I saw a bright twinkling star moving towards us. It was really bright and dark out. I thought it was a star but it was moving. The light got over us then it shined a set of headlights, like a car on to something. It was quiet and blinked right out and was gone. Everybody at Sprout Lake saw it and were talking about it. It looked like a bright star and it was really bright and quiet, no noise.

Location of Sighting: Base of Cowie Hill Rd.

Full Description of event/sighting: My girlfriend had seen a few objects in the sky this morning while looking out her living room window around 2:50 AM. They were streaking across the sky and one of them seemed to change shape.
She had also seen 3 others while driving down Herring Cove Rd last week on Tuesday around 10:00 p.m. with her mother. They followed along with her down the road and hovered over an apartment building, after which she went inside and didn't look back. There are lots more details but I was just wondering if anyone has seen these as well, or if you have heard anything about these. Thanks.

Oshawa/Whitby, Ontario A Bright White Light At High Altitude

Time: 7:15 p.m.
Location of Sighting: Oshawa/Whitby.
Number of witnesses: 1

Shape of objects: Bright white light at high altitude.
Full Description of event/sighting: Around 7:15 I was standing on my porch enjoying the warmer weather we've had as of late, and a clear blue sky with the sun still shining this late. I am facing south towards Lake Ontario and live right beside the Oshawa/Whitby border at Rossland and Thornton Rd's. Two jumbo jets were flying east from Pearson Airport and were very low, and very clear and was a thrill to watch as the sun was reflecting off of the planes. When the second jumbo jet, following close behind passed I looked up at the smoke trail and for a split second, at very high altitude, much higher than the planes, I saw a bright white light appear to head completely straight on a South/West/West course then it disappeared. It was so high up I was assuming it was the ISS, however at that time, the shuttle had not yet docked with the station, so it is very possible it was in fact the shuttle I saw the reflection of, so high up. It was that high because it was still a blue sky out, the bright light appeared out of no where, and it seemed to disappear into the blue sky. I estimate it was literally 100's or even 1000's of kilometers higher than the two jumbo jets. Not sure if it was a UFO but it was very strange. I am not even sure if the ISS was passing over that area at that specific time. Though it was very short lived, it was very relevant and noticeable so I would gather there were other witnesses elsewhere in the area. Cheers.
