Full Description of event/sighting: I have found though my past research that sometimes something happens once in a while when you just have to seek out thoughts and people with the similar experiences to try to understand that certain happening, this is one of those times. This incident was both mind-boggling and amazing. I would truly appreciate it if anyone else tries this or has tried it that they would contact me with their experience or results for comparison.
I must admit that I was a little reluctant in attempting this mainly because of reports of those who have tried it and had some bad experiences and results but I feel we are not going to learn much more about these things by only looking at videos and photos. If there really is a risk, at least for me its worth taking in hopes of learning something new. It could very well be communication, although very basic.
For the past few weeks there has been a dramatic increase in UFOs (daylight white spheres) over Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada which for some reason seems to be a yearly happening at this time of year and I do admit that I feel there is a relationship to the Saskatchewan's crop circle season which is just getting under way. It's getting to a point where it is frustrating seeing these things and not given the opportunity to learn more. When these spherical UFOs show up in the daylight skies they have a tendency to sit motionless for some time before either disappearing on the spot or slowly traveling across the sky until out of sight. I began to wonder if they are also around at night so this past weekend my family and I decided to go out to our family acreage away from the city lights and set up a tent, some lounging chairs and just see what happens in the sky throughout the night with the accompaniment of a very bright flashlight.
It was a beautiful clear night as we set up camp on a hilltop and then sat in our chairs to begin what I hoped to be an interesting night of sky watching. For the first hour or so of darkness we watched in amazement at how bright the stars where compared to in the city and discussed the various usual satellites that we were seeing crossing the sky in a perfectly straight orbit. It was then that I reached for my flashlight and while looking up at a small portion of the sky I turned the light on and then off very quickly. I really have no idea why I picked that particular area of the sky. What I saw kind of shocked me. What I thought was just another star sitting motionless began to move slowly to the right in relationship to the surrounding stars and also taking a slightly curved path almost as if the flash from my light was a cue to begin moving, almost as if I woke it up.
Without thinking I again flashed my light, but this time I was almost in disbelief as I observed it flash right back instantly with a brief but very strong white light. Almost speechless I pointed the area of the sky out to the others with me. Maybe 10 seconds had passed and now we were all watching this object move slowly, much slower than the satellites we saw previously. As it made a slight turn I then flashed my light at it twice with maybe a 3 second interval between flashes. With all of us watching, it sent back two immediate flashes with the second one being much brighter and intense. As you can imagine, everyone's excitement was also intense. By now the object has sped up a bit and I wanted to keep flashing at it but purposely waited about 30 seconds before I tried it again, when I gave it a single quick flash it immediately sent back a flash that was much, much brighter than any previous flash. It was hard to tell if the flash it gave was at a higher intensity or if the object itself was at a lower altitude. After the last flash it gave us it just proceeded a short distance and then just disappeared, like it went out. The rest of the night was pretty uneventful except for a few shooting stars, more satellites and a great borealis show.
It wasn't an airplane, it wasn't a satellite. What was it? I don't know. But what ever it was, was it using very basic communication or acknowledgment? Again, I don't know but I do plan on pursuing this further and just maybe I found a new tool for my research.
As mentioned earlier, I would very much appreciate hearing any thoughts or from anyone with similar experiences. I can be contacted at the below email address.

Burnaby, British Columbia Seem To Be Triangular
Posted: January 19, 2008
Date: August 12, 2006 Time: 9:50 p.m.
Number of witnesses: 3 Number of objects: 2 Shape of objects: Seem to be triangular.
Full Description of event/sighting: Last evening we saw a UFO and so tonight I kept watching the sky. At approximately 9:50 pm I found what looked like a star flashing. I got out the telescope and sure enough it was another of the UFO's like we'd seen last night , but further away. We found two barely visible through the telescope , but we could see that they were flashing red and blue lights, with white being the most visible with the naked eye. So to the average person they simply look like stars unless you look with a telescope. Both of my children witnessed the two craft. They have stayed in the same spot for the past 39 minuets. It is now 10:29 pm. There was what seemed to be an airplane that crossed beneath them at a much lower altitude. I am not sure if it was the same airplane that came back or if there were two airplanes but they moved visibly fast across the sky and did not stay in the same spot as the two UFOs.
The location of the UFOs was looking over the back of the Value Village from Edmonds street, just above the south east corner and the other one was just above the south west corner of Value Village but more at a high altitude. The one to the left disappeared around 10: 20 but the one to the right is still hovering there but has moved gradually just slightly to the right and has stayed there for the past 10 minuets or so. And it has pulsing colors of red, sometimes green and blue with white being most intense.
Thank you to the witness for the report.

Calgary, Alberta Object Very Bright And Lower Than The Airliners

Full Description of event/sighting: Sunday morning, I decided to go get the newspaper across the lane. It is very dark in the lane at that time. I was looking up on my way back home to see if I could see the meteor shower. In the back lane you can't see west, because of a 10 story building. Looking straight up I saw a very bright orange light traveling east. I ran down the lane to my place watching it, it just kept going until I couldn't see it any more, and just as I lost sight of it, a meteor came down in the same area east of the city. I've seen the meteors many times before. It just went across the sky from where I saw it east. It was very bright, lower than the airliners that fly up there. It lasted about 10 to 15 seconds and was very fast for that distance. Thanks, I'm sure others saw it as you couldn't miss it. Please omit my name from this report, thanks.
Thank you to the witness for the report.

NNE Of Burke Mountain, Port Coquitlam A Glowing Ping Pong Ball
Posted: January 19, 2008
Date: August 13, 2006 Time: 11:35 p.m.
Number of witnesses: 1 Number of objects: 1 or 2 Shape of objects: Two round globes.
Full Description of event/sighting: Hi Brian, it was exceptionally clear the other night and that multi colored star/light whatever? was really putting on a good show. I decided to video tape it in time lapse and see if I could get some good shots. After getting the camera set up and running I was looking at it (the star) through my 10X binoculars. I noticed just below and to its right what appeared to be two small dim stars. I didn't pay much attention at first then realized that one of them was pulsing, bright to dim, Never really vanishing and not as fast as a strobe or as bright. That kind of caught my attention. I switched over to my bigger binoculars, half expecting the light to be gone by the time I got them aimed in that direction. But for once the object was still there. Turned out that what I thought was a single light was actually two globes one situated slightly behind the other. The one in the forefront was pulsing from a bright yellow and down to a dull orange and back again.
The rearward globe was going from the appearance of a glowing ping pong ball to the greyish sheen of a pearl. I could not tell if they were connected but both were pulsing in unison and after watching for a few moments I realized they were slowly drifting in an easterly direction. I could not tell how high or how far away they were but they possibly were either in space or close to it. With the naked eye I couldn't see them at all. They moved to slow to be either a plane or a satellite. I watched them for approx: five minutes until they just seemed to fade away. They maintained the same distance and appearance the whole time I was watching.
Thank you to the witness for the report.

Burnaby, British Columbia Flashing Or Pulsing Colored Lights

Full Description of event/sighting: Since August 12, 2006 when our attention to UFOs in the night sky was drawn by something that kept turning our TV off, we have been watching the sky for more UFOs. Again tonight we spotted one. It looked like a star in the sky but through the telescope we could see flashing or pulsing red, blue, white and sometimes green light. It stayed in the same spot of the sky from 10:29 until 11:10 and then it moved to the right behind the telephone poll and disappeared. We never saw it again. There is no doubt that this was definitely not a star as it moved and disappeared suddenly. I am currently trying to find out where to buy a more high powered telescope. A video camera would be great too.
This UFO was seen from Edmonds Street looking in the direction of Kingsway avenue and the object was high in the sky positioned just between the two high rises on the south corner of the intersection there. Very curious !
Thank you to the witness for the report.

Moosomin, Saskatchewan Elongated Diamond Shaped Object
Posted: Janaury 19, 2008
Date: August 14, 2006 Time: Approx 10:40 p.m.
Number of witnesses: 1 Number of objects: 1 Shape of objects: Elongated diamond, sort of.
Full Description of event/sighting: Hi Brian, well of all places. I was coming back from Saskatoon yesterday/last night and was in Moosomin at the southern part of town. I was traveling with a group. We had a vehicle break down as we made our way from Saskatoon. Everyone was at the breakdown before Moosomin (north of the town) as I waited for them to get back on the road I was out of the truck and looking up at the night sky, admiring the milky way.
It was approximately 10:40 when suddenly and silently an object came from the south and headed north. I watched as it flew right overhead, very quick speed and faster than the speed of a military fighter. It covered the entire sky in about 4 or 5 seconds. It was totally silent and made no noise and had no contrail. There were no lights on it that I could see. The object itself had a faint glow as I watched it head straight north and disappear on the horizon. The object looked like an elongated diamond but the sides cut off. It was fairly high, but not high enough where I had a problem making it out. It was very clear in the sky to see. I will send you a drawing through my email.
If I missed something..feel free to ask. Take care.
Additional Information:
I should explain that drawing I made, was the bottom of the object from what I saw as it passed overhead. But I also would like to say that as it headed north it appeared that it may have been the same shape all around as that's all. Thanks.
Thank you to the witness for the report.
