Date: August 13, 2006 Time: Approx: 2:33 a.m.
Message: Last August 13th, in the wee hours of the morning, I was observing the Perseids meteor shower. At approximately 2:33, something moving in the sky caught my eye. The object appeared from behind a 30 story apartment complex which is approximately 500 meters from where I was observing.
The object was fairly difficult to see since it had no visible lights on it and it was in during the darkest part of the evening. It's elevation, with respect to the horizon was approximately 15 degrees, and is seemed to be within 2 or 3 kilometers distance from my observation point.
The moon was almost full and was very low on the horizon that night. The object was traveling horizontally from my vantage point, so I had a side view of it. Suddenly, it took a slow turn towards the east. As it did, it's underside became illuminated by the bright moon. It was clearly shaped like a delta wing (I can't draw very well, so I am having a friend illustrate it - hope to have it done soon) with 8 rectangular ports on its underside which had a cyan colored luminescent glow to them (engine ports?) The object finished its turn so that I now had a rear view of it, and then took off away from me so quickly that within 1/2 second it had become a pinpoint and then disappeared.
In all, the object traveled about 20 degrees of sky in 4 or 5 seconds (while I had the thin side view). I thought I was dreaming to be honest. But I was wide awake, sober (I do not use any type of drug including alcohol) and it was real. Only after much soul searching that I decided to report this. I am not one who believes in ET's and such nonsense, but this was real, and it has shaken my non-belief a little. Thanks for your time. If nothing else, just writing this makes me feel a little less uneasy about what I saw.
Additional Information:
Hi Brian,
I guess I should have included location information so here it is. The location is Edmonton, Alberta - specifically on the edge of the river valley at Saskatchewan Drive and (removed)th Street. The object appeared in an east-north-east direction in the sky and ended up due east when it disappeared.
Thanks for your time Brian.
Thank you to the witness for the report.

Burnaby Mountain Burnaby, B.C. White Strobing Light
Posted: January 19, 2008
Date: August 26, 2006 Time: 10:00 p.m.
Hi Brian. Another strange object flying east, right at this moment, 22;15 disappearing over Burke Mountain. I had my camera aimed over Grouse and Seymour just to see if I could pick up any thing unusual. Night vision on and set at wide angle.
22:00 approximately noticed white strobe just over Burnaby Mountain appeared to be stationary and I knew there are no towers with white strobes over there. I glanced over there but could not see the strobe with the naked eye. Checked with binoculars and could just make it out, zoomed in with camera and found it to be two white lights which appeared similar in spacing to car headlights, I said strobing but it was more like pulsing and not as bright as a strobe, more like headlights being turned on and off. One thing unusual was the lights did not smear like you get at night with moving aircraft. Also found the lights to be moving very slowly east, much to slow to be an aircraft, could have been a chopper but did look like one. Estimated speed about 5 to 10 miles an hour.
At it's closest point to me which would be beside Heritage Mountain in Port Moody I could see a light colored body behind the lights but not make out any definite shape, when the light dimmed I could still see a dim glow from them. I checked with my big binoculars but could only see the lights and only when at their brightest. Object last seen over Burke Mountain in Coquitlam still headed east. When first seen it was just over Burnaby Mountain at approximately 1500 feet and must have been slowly climbing as it appeared to go over Burke Mountain and not around it. So probably up to 5000 feet when last seen.
Than you to the witness for the report.

Coquitlam, British Columbia Three Bright Lights
Posted: January 19, 2008
Date: August 26, 2006 Time: 11:40 p.m.
Message: Call me crazy. I saw some weird lights in the sky (over Coquitlam) just now at 11:40 pm. There were three bright lights. I stopped looking. Came back to look again. One very bright light (part red and part white) remained. Unlike any light I have seen in the sky. The light hovered, brightly over the tree-line for a few minutes. Then it became a small red light and moved quickly away.
Thank you to the witness for the report.

City of Edmonton, Alberta Boomerang Shaped UFOs
Posted: January 19, 2008
Date: August 26, 2006 Time: 10:45 p.m.
Number of witnesses: 2 Number of objects: 1? or 7-8 Shape of objects: Boomerang-shaped
Full Description of event/sighting: My 13-year old son and I were sitting at our backyard firepit talking and looking up at the stars from our lawn chairs in the dark. Suddenly, a formation of 7 or 8 boomerang or arrowhead shaped objects appeared, flying north to south from above our garage roof. The appearance was so striking and strange that each of us instinctively jumped out of our chair and actually stumbled over one another to get a longer look before they disappeared over our house and into the distance. They disappeared incredibly fast despite their altitude, we just looked at each other and said "did you see that"? They were brightly lit in a way I would describe as similar to a child's glow-stick (white). They appeared to be flying in synch with one another in a V or L shaped formation.
Strangely, they appeared to be part of, or lights on, a larger but somehow transparent object. It appeared to be flying an altitude approximately that of a helicopter, lower than a commuter plane. There was no sound. I am considerably versed in existing and historical military aircraft, and this one has me baffled. It is definitely a "UFO" sighting in my books.
Thank you to the witness for the report.

Saskatoon, Saskatchewan Three Lights In An Equilateral Triangle Formation
Posted: January 19, 2008
Date: August 26, 2006 Time: Approx: 11:30 p.m.
Number of witnesses: 1 Number of objects: 1 Shape of objects: Triangular
Full Description of event/sighting: I'm not sure if this is anything, or not. I was in downtown Saskatoon, at the foot of the Broadway Bridge, following a bridge party and fireworks display in celebration of the city's centennial (the city had shut down one of our major river crossings for an evening street celebration). The streets were pretty much vacant by about 11:30 p.m., except for a few clean-up crews and security personnel. Something in the sky caught my attention out of the corner of my eye. I looked up, roughly northward well over the tops of the high downtown buildings, just in time to see what appeared to be three lights in an equilateral triangle formation fade into the darkness. I blinked a couple of times to see if there was something really there or I might have been imagining it. But that was it, three lights fading into the night sky over the city. Nothing else. The whole event lasted maybe a second or two. I looked around to see if anyone else was looking at the sky, but everyone was focused on their own task or the activity on the bridge.
My eyes could have been playing tricks on me. I didn't see enough to know if I really saw anything. I was pretty tired after a long day, but I had not been drinking or taking any other mind altering substances. However, just in case anyone else thinks they might have seen something that night, I thought it might be useful to have this report on file.
Thank you to the witness for the report.

Aylmer, Quebec Object Broke Formation
Posted: January 19, 2008
Date: August 28, 2006 Time: 8:45 p.m.
Number of witnesses: 2 Number of objects: 3 Shape of objects: Stars/Orbs?
Full Description of event/sighting: Objects appeared very bright yellow/orange stars in the lower north sky in a line parallel to the horizon. Objects appeared to come closer in this horizontal formation and then proceeded to move upwards, at this point one of the three objects moved out of the horizontal formation. It appeared as if one of the objects (the one which broke formation) became dim and then became bright over a period of thirty seconds. The objects disappeared as there location approached the little dipper. We tracked the objects for approximately 5 minutes. I attempted to video tape the episode however I do not think that there was enough contrast to see anything. Please provide us with any information that you can provide regarding this! Thanks in Advance!
