Report 8 - Remarkable UFO Wave Continues Over British Columbia Canada (UFO Investigator Brian Vike)

By Brian Vike (The Vike Factor - Houston, British Columbia Centre For UFO Research)

Houston, British Columbia.

Date: August 2, 2003
Time: Approximately 1:15 a.m.

I went to the Houston mall today to pick up some more tapes, when I was there one of the stores employees told me about a sighting he and his friend had when they were out camping at Irrigation Lake which is just a few minutes west of Houston, British Columbia.

Both were sitting at the lakes shore when a bright white flash of light caught their eye and traveled from the north to the south and at a high rate of speed.

Before they lost sight of it, the light started zig zagging briefly across the sky and completely disappeared.

The entire event lasted approximately 3 seconds but it did give the fellows something interesting to tell their friends.

Investigator Brian Vike’s Note: It seems there has been a lot of this type of sightings recently that I have received. Lights zig zagging across the sky. It makes me wonder what the heck these lights are.

Kelowna, British Columbia.

Date: August 3, 2003 T
Time: 8:30 p.m.

I had a telephone call from a wonderful lady who lives in Kelowna, British Columbia. She called as she read article in the Kelowna Capital Newspaper about a fellow who was requesting witnesses to a sighting come forward. She told me she saw something that was pretty peculiar around 8:30 p.m.

She told me it was remarkable to her, so much so that she wanted her neighbors around to discuss what she saw, but no one was in the area at the time.

She also believes that she may have been the only one who witnessed this object, but of course at this time she hasn't heard from anyone else yet who may have seen it.

The witness went on to say it was a perfectly round and metallic silver in colour. The object was moving across the daylight sky.

The lady also said it was round apposed to being cylindrical or egg shaped, and stressed it was as round as a ball.

The object was moving in a easterly direction and she got the impression it was very, very distant.

It moved at a steady pace, it didn't stop, it didn't hover, it just kept moving along through the sky until she lost sight of it.

She said there was no sound coming from it. No trail or tail was witnessed. The lady gave a guess at what the size of the object may have been.

She took a guess and estimated it may have been the size of a nickel, or at least close after holding out her hand at arms length.

It was estimated that the object was observed for approximately 2 minutes before she lost sight of it when it went behind the hills.

Sakinaw Lake, Sunshine Coast in British Columbia.

Date: August 7th, 2003
Time: 10:15 p.m.

Dear Brian Vike, I too saw something strange in the sky, however this was the night of August 7, 2003. Here's my story: My husband and I have a summer home at Sakinaw Lake which is on the Sunshine Coast in British Columbia.

One of my favorite things to do at night is to star gaze from the middle of the lake. The sky is so clear there compared to the city. Anyways, on August 7, 2003 I took my star gazing gear (blanket, pillow and flashlight) with me on my peddle boat and like usual snuggled down once I got to the middle of the lake.

I usually stay out for a couple of hours and watch the shooting stars before peddling back to our home. On this night approximately 10:15 p.m. or so, I spotted what I thought was another shooting star.

It streaked across the sky heading southward then stopped. I thought the shooting star might burn out, but it didn't. Instead, the light split into 4 lights which formed a square (1 light in each corner).

One of the lights was brighter than the other 3, which made me think it might be bigger than the others. It stayed in the square formation for 2 to 5 seconds before it changed forms again. Two lights stayed in place while the other 2 lights moved slightly away, then stopped.

The 4 lights together looked like a rectangle and stayed this way for 1 to 2 seconds. Then all of a sudden the 2 lights that moved to form the rectangle shot off northward, like parallel shooting stars, while the other 2 lights only separated slightly and remained stationary.

One of the 2 lights that remained was the bright one. I was shocked and couldn't believe what I saw. I stayed there until 1:30 a.m. to see if the other 2 would come back.

Then I tried to memorize the location of the 2 remaining lights before heading in, but they looked like stars amongst so many other stars. It was useless, so I peddled back home.

I told my husband and he suggested I look up UFO sightings on the internet. There are so many skeptics and believe me I would have been one too, that I said I don't think I'll bother.

My husband printed a copy of your article for me to read and that's how I read about the other sighting on July 28, 2003 and also why I'm emailing you.

If you know or hear of any one else that saw what I did that night, please let me know. I would appreciate any information you can provide.

Thank you!

Vernon, British Columbia.

Date: August 12, 2003
Time: Daytime.

Investigator Brian Vike’s Note: This report may not seem important, but it actually is due to the case I am working on, which 75 witnessed have come forward to tell their story.

This report I have for you is of a orange glow in a mushroom cloud. It was about the second day of the Anarchist Mountain fire in Penticton.

I was watching the clouds west over Okanagon Lake. Under the huge clouds were a string of smaller clouds lined up like beads. The heat haze and smoke from the south were over the lake and the whole picture was slowly moving north.

The last cloud stopped, and slowly moved deliberately and casually down behind Terrace mountain, in the opposite direction of the sky flow.

There was an orange glow in the center of the cloud. The distance is about 20 k and the cloud was about the size of the tip of my little finger.

Houston, British Columbia.

Date: August 13, 2003
Time: Approximately: 12:05 a.m.

Brian Vike talked with a gentleman who resides in Houston, British Columbia. The witness told me he packed his camera and tripod up and headed over to one of the fields on their farm.

He was going to capture some shots of the planet Mars and the Moon as it is so beautiful right now. As he was setting up his equipment, he noticed something very odd.

In a totally clear sky he watched a cloud starting to form very quickly. As he mentioned it came out of no where and seemed to be shaping up in a oblong shape.

Due to the Moon being bright, he had no problem in watching this phenomena. The fellow also said there was some type of disturbance which was taking place in the cloud itself.

He tried to explain what he saw, and the best example he could come up was, from end to end of this narrow formed cloud, it appeared to look like someone had taken a shot with a powerful gun, and the force of the shell was cutting through the cloud, causing a disturbance within, or center of the cloud which ran from end to end.

There was no lights/object seen at all, just this strange long mass of cloud which appeared right out of nowhere. It sat stationary for approximately 4 to 5 minutes and dissipated.

Between Nelson And Salmo, British Columbia.

Date: August 14, 2003
Time: Approximately: 11:20 p.m.

A husband and wife were traveling back home from Salmo to Nelson, British Columbia. They were driving on Highway #6 and along side the Salmo River when to their right, flying at the top of the mountain was a round red ball of brilliant light.

The witnesses said it moved very quickly, to fast to be an airplane and hugged the contour of the mountain. Due to there being some distance between them and the red light, no sound was heard.

The total time they watched the light was approximately 6 to 7 seconds at tops. I was also told that others traveling on the highway had also witnessed the same red light as some folks were discussing what they saw back in their home town.

Vancouver, British Columbia.

Date: August 17, 2003
Time: 11:45 p.m. (?)

Last night was spectacular. Looking out from Coal Harbour over Lions Gate Bridge, my wife (who is a skeptic) and I were treated to a fantastic dance by numerous "objects".

It was not that the binoculars were unsteady, one object would race in all directions in front of another object which remained steady, so there could be no question about what it was doing.

The motions, in all directions, including criss-crossing, were incredibly fast, about as fast as the eye could follow.

We are using 10x50 WA binoculars and it would not be readily seen with the naked eye.

Hope you find this information worthwhile reading.

Penticton, British Columbia.

Date: August 18, 2003
Time: 11:15 a.m.

A gentleman called me on August 18, 2003 to report that him and a work mate were out on their lunch break which is from 11:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

They were sitting outside against the building talking and looking towards the south taking in the view of the mountains. Now looking towards the southwest the one witness observed a long, silver point of light.

He said it would have been approximately the size of a key at arms length. The witness thought it may have been a reflection of an airplane as that was his first thoughts, but he just took his eyes off it for a split second, and when he looked back up at it, it was gone. (He said nothing at this point to his friend)

The two men kept eating their lunch and a few seconds later the witnesses friend said, quick look over there, the friend now caught something with his eyes.

When the witness turned to look at what his friend was pointing at, the object had vanished. His friend said it disappeared so quickly, and he said it just faded out into the blue sky. When the friend saw the object he said it was the size of a nickel at arms length.

Both men reported seeing it coming from the west and in a few seconds it was in the east, the size of a nickel. They reported the color as being a metallic silver, and at the end of the sighting the friend said it looked just like a sphere in shape. That was the last time the fellows seen the object in the sky.

--------------------

Kamloops, British Columbia.

Date: August 22, 2003
Time: 10:00 p.m.

A lady called and reported something she could not explain flying over southern Kamloops. She said it looked like a squared off kind of craft with four lights, nothing like an airplane or helicopter.

She telephoned the Kamloops airport to see if they had any other sightings of this kind come into them, but after leaving a message at the airport on an answering machine, they never did get back to her.

Also she called the RCMP and they told her they had no other reports come in on this and mentioned to her that she must have been blurred by the smoke in the area and thought she saw something.

The witness swears what she saw was something not of this world in nature.

Kimberley, British Columbia.

Date: August 22, 2003
Time: 11:10 p.m.

A lady residing in Kimberley, British Columbia called a family member to go out and look towards the southwest as the witness was watching a strange sight.

When the other family member ran outside, both the ladies in different locations in Kimberley, and watched two small, but bright white lights high up in the sky dance around.

The woman reported that the lights appeared to be chasing one another and at other times the lights would stay stationary.

The witness reported that this took place for approximately 2 minutes and the lights did cover a good portion of the sky when they appeared to be chasing one another. After the two minutes has passed both lights disappeared.

Thornhill, Terrace British Columbia.

Date: August 24, 2003
Time: 10:02 p.m.

Hi Brian, On August 24, 2003 I was by myself and witnessed a bright, white colored object traveling from the northwest to the southeast.

It got bright over Thornhill, but dimmed somewhat towards your direction. I believe it was no plane, meteorite or satellite as it did look really strange.

The sky was +- 30 % overcast. No sound was heard coming from the light/object. There were no stops, no hovering, nothing strange regarding behavior and I would say it was +- 10-30 m in diameter.

Kimberley, British Columbia.

Date: August 26, 2003
Time: 11:05 p.m.

I received a telephone call from a Kimberley resident at 11:30 p.m. and she said she was visiting family which is at the northern end of Kimberley, British Columbia by the Cominco Mine area and she said there were a couple of them standing outside and a family member happened to notice a jet airliner going over head from east to west.

The witness told me what her family member did see was certainly a jet. All of a sudden the witness saw what she thought was a shooting star just to the north of the jet, but a lot higher up.

She says it started out like a shooting star, but then there was a flash of white light and then it happened again approximately 20 seconds later and another flash.

They both stood wondering if this may have been another jet as this one was going in a northwesterly direction. But as the witness watched she mentioned that the intervals weren't the same as a jet airliner. (meaning the flashing of the jets lights).

It then disappeared and then in another 20 to 30 seconds there was another flash of light.

The witness says this is where it gets a bit odd and figured it wasn't another jet that she was aware of.

Thinking maybe it was something the military was flying overhead. She saw a flash in front of the object and it reminded her of a laser light.

She also said you could see the light zapping a good distance in front of the object. It again disappeared and in another 50 seconds or so later there was another flash of light.

Hi Brian, I just came inside with (name deleted by Brian Vike) and after sitting down for 90 minutes on the pile of wood I cut today, 9:08 p.m. I witnessed a flash of light coming from on easterly direction.

A few minutes later I watched a white colored light move across the sky and roughly 3-4 km's away and it did peak over the trees and disappeared.

A man and a woman saw a disc-shaped object sitting stationary just below the clouds.

It was dark grey in colour and had 5 or 6 white lights on it. After about 1 minute, the object disappeared.

They estimated that the object was about as wide as 1 1/2 thumb widths (held at arm's length.

Time:  1:00 a.m.

A man and a woman watched an extremely bright green light alongside one of the local mountains.

After a period of time it disappeared. Later that night the woman awoke and looked outside and again saw a bright green light.

It was in a different part of the sky and stationary.

Houston, British Columbia.

Date:  September 2, 2003 and September 3, 2003
Time:  Approximately 11:05 p.m. and 11:45 p.m.

An elderly couple living on Bold Road, just off Buck Flats Road reported that they watched a very strange object hovering over top of Pea Cock mountain.

They believe that it was round in shape and had lights running around outside the object. They observed it moving along the top of the mountain for about a kilometer before it stopped, then quickly dropped behind the mountain. No sound was heard.

The next night, at about 11:45 p.m., the same object showed up over the mountain, but more towards the south.

This time the object did not move in any direction and was observed for about 6 to 8 seconds before it dropped out of sight.

Again no sound was heard, and the object, or light coming from it, was extremely bright.

Investigator Brian Vike’s Note: This was certainly not a star, or Mars. The second date of the sighting the object was a good height off the top ridge of the mountain, and if a star it would have taken sometime to drop down and out of sight.

Also I asked the local helicopter businesses to see if they had any flying in the area at the time of this sighting. There was none flying at that time. Everything was shut down before dark.

Barriere, Central British Columbia.

Date:  September 3, 2003
Time:  11:10 p.m.

Just before entering her home, a lady saw a huge cylinder-shaped craft flying very quickly and low to the ground.

It had a large number of bright white lights running down the full length of the object, possibly windows she thought.

There were no wings noticed on the craft. No sound was heard and the sighting lasted for about 5 seconds.

Upon entering her home she discovered, from her boyfriend, that their cat had been going "nuts" during the time that the object was passing by.

Investigator Brian Vike’s Note: This little story below turned into some story which I will try to find.

Date:  September 10, 2003
Time:  8:50 p.m.

A couple were outside tending to their farm animals when they heard a sound coming from the north.

They looked up to see a bright white light travelling directly towards them. It passed soundlessly over top over their farm, heading south.

The sound that they had heard was still coming from the north, and getting louder. Shortly, two very large military type helicopters appeared, flying low and following the same direction as the light had taken.

“I was sitting outside facing west when a huge saucer, 4 times moon size, materialized out of nowhere right in front of me.

I was not looking in any way, just listening to music and relaxing after a 10 hour day of splitting firewood.

The object of intensive white color did have a saucer shape and the outline was in light red. The object must have been only 35-40 meters away, or even closer, and it was not sitting still, but moving up and down.

I got very scared and my heart started pumping like crazy. I am still shaking. The whole scenario lasted for only 15 seconds before the saucer became invisible.

There was some heat coming from it and it stank like rotten eggs, a sulphur-like smell but somehow different

"Everything took place just 10 minutes ago. I am still shaking."

Castlegar, British Columbia.

Date:  October 1, 2003
Time:  8:30 p.m.

Greetings, Brian. It was suggested to me that I e-mail you to let you know that my family witnessed a strange event on Wednesday night, October 1st, 2003, roughly around 8:30 p.m.

I also understand others may have seen the same flashing lights. My name is (deleted by Brian Vike), I live in Ootischenia, just outside of Castlegar, next to the Castlegar Airport.

It was a clear night, and I was looking to the north sky at the Big Dipper. I caught a glimpse of a flashing red/green and white light moving across the sky towards the west.

I thought it was an jet flying towards Vancouver, but then I returned my glance towards the east, above the Kootenay River valley, where the jet seemed to appear from, I saw another flashing light.

A called my husband to come and see this, and he saw what I saw, then we observed another appear from the east fly over Mount Sentinel and move towards the west.

My three children joined us in our observations of the unidentified objects in the night sky. These were not jets!

Within a few minutes, there were five of these objects in the sky at one time flying in various directions.

Two in particular seemed to meet up with one another and hovered across from one another for about a minute or two, then one flew directly below it, and hovered there for less than a minute, then flew in a north eastern direction towards the back of Mount Sentinel.

It flew out of sight, then in about another minute or so, reappeared from the east, (where they all seemed to come from).

"We watched these objects for about 15 minutes, then they all disappeared behind the mountains in the horizons.

Date:  October 1, 2003
Time:  10:30 p.m.

A couple of witnesses who were working the late shift at the Quesnel, British Columbia Wal-Mart saw something burning across the sky at a very low altitude.

The witnesses said the object was a brilliant red in color and traveled across the sky until they lost sight of it behind the local mountains.

The object was heading to the southeast. Both of the witnesses discussed the sighting and figured out what they witnessed was a meteor.

One of the men said there were flames coming off from the back end of it. Time observed was about 1 and a half minutes.

Slocan Park, British Columbia.

Date:  October 1, 2003
Time:  Approximately 10:40 p.m.

On Wednesday night, October 1, 2003, I was taking a bath. I have a large window over the bathtub facing the northwest and I like to look at the stars.

At approximately 10:40 p.m., a glowing white ball dropped from the sky. It did not descend at an angle as meteorites tend to do, nor did it have a green cast.

It was absolutely white and it came straight down at very high speed with a white tail of light behind it.

It appeared to be fairly close by in that I could see that the object was round. Looking at a map the next day, I determined the exact area my window faces.

It seems likely to me that it came down in the Southern half of the Little Slocan Valley, near Valican, unless the object was huge and therefore, further away.

Date:  October 3, 2003
Time:  6:45 p.m.

A woman was washing dishes in the kitchen sink when she looked out the window and noticed an oblong-shaped object in the northwestern sky.

The front of it was blunt, with a "tiny" tail behind it which went to a sharp point. She described the color as being white with a glow around it being an off white color.

She watched it for about 8 minutes before it disappeared to the northeast. The witness did open the window, but no sound was heard.

Time:  12:00 (noon time)

A man and his son were out cutting firewood near Paradise Lake, which is located about 6 kilometers east of Telkwa, British Columbia.

As the fellows were loading the truck up with the firewood they cut, the son yelled out to his father to look north and just above the tree tops.

A large glowing white globe of light flew very quickly, almost skimming the tree tops. The object was heading toward the Babine Lake area.

There was not a sound heard coming from the light, even though the light was maybe 300 feet away from the men when they first witnessed it.

Vancouver, British Columbia.

Time:  11:30 p.m.

Hi, I am reporting seeing a strange big reddish ball of light which appeared to fall from the sky. I live downtown Vancouver on the 25th floor facing northeast.

The light seemed to be over the airport. At first I thought it was a plane, but after watching it, it was much larger than a plane light and was falling vertically.

I was waiting for some type of explosion, but it just disappeared into the horizon, like it fell off the edge of the Earth so to speak.

Weird I saw this happen at about 11:30 p.m. on October 19, 2003.

As it appeared to be over the airport I think it must of been much farther as it seemed to vanish just to the right of where Mount Baker is on the horizon.

7:00 p.m.

A woman was driving a number of young girls back from a dance rehearsal in Smithers, British Columbia  to Houston.

As she drove up Hungry Hill, she noticed an very bright white object in the sky. It suddenly dropped from a higher elevation to just above the tree tops.

It was flat like a dinner plate with a single green light on the bottom of it. It was generally moving in a westerly direction, but at one point it made rapid-paced movements in various directions.

No sound was heard even though she believes they were within half a mile of it at their closest.

Investigator Brian Vike’s Note: I remember this report well. When I spoke to the lady she was still upset about what she saw. She was worrying for all the children’s safely and was very shaken by the close encounter.

Time:  2:30 a.m.

A woman got up during the night to use the washroom, when she looked outside and saw a ball of light with a bright ring around it (like the planet Saturn).

It was low in the Bulkley Valley, close to Highway #16. For the brief time that she watched, it was making all kinds of strange maneuvers.

Date:  November 15, 2003
Time:  9:00 p.m.

A woman was sitting in her living room watching television when something bright caught her attention. She reports seeing a large bright florescent green colored round ball of light traveling horizontally across the sky from the north to southwest.

She reports no tail or trail following the object. She observed the object for about 4 to 5 seconds before she lost sight of it.

There was a low cloud ceiling that evening and the green object was well below it. No unusual maneuvers or sound were noted.

The lady believes that the object was quite large. With her hand held at arm's length it would be the size of her thumb.

Burns Lake, British Columbia.

Date:  November 16, 2003
Time:  7:30 p.m.

A couple were driving up a hill on Highway #16 (just before Babine Forest Products) when they saw a red ball of light in front of them.

It was low in the sky and travelling at an angle downwards, behind the hill they were climbing. As they lost sight of it, they noticed that the crest of the hill, the highway and the tops of the trees were all bathed in a reddish glow.

They could not see the source of the red glow, but hoped to once they got to the top of the hill. Unfortunately, the red glow suddenly went out just before they reached the top.

They slowed down and kept their eyes open, but did not see the red ball again.

Creston, British Columbia.

Date:  November 25, 2003
Time:  9:20 p.m.

Two men driving from Creston, along Highway 3 heading west towards Fruitvale, saw briefly a number of bluish lights off in the distance, heading east towards their direction at a very low altitude.

As they drew closer, the lights seemed to spread out and then, suddenly, all of the blue lights blinked out at once.

The two men thought it was rather strange as they had never witnessed anything like this before.

They were not able to make out any type of shape, or structure as everything took place rather quickly.

The story does not end here. It was not until a short time later that the two men realized that they had travelled about 25 kilometers without any conscious memory of the distance.

The driver had blood trickling down from his right nostril. Both men became very cold and thirsty. Later, the driver broke down and was crying uncontrollably.

Both men experienced vivid dreams that night. One man remembers being inside an object, or room.

I will provide an update when we can.

Houston, British Columbia.

Date:  December 8, 2003
Time:  8:45 p.m.

Investigator Brian Vike’s Note: This was some awesome sighting and I can see the area where this took place at my home. I just wished I was looking out my window when I craft was observed. Also, I found out later that the Houston RCMP took a report from another Houston, British Columbia resident.

A husband and wife were just returning home, and as they pulled into their long driveway they saw their two kids standing outside yelling and pointed towards the mountain behind their home.

The husband stopped the car quickly and both parents jumped out in fear as they had no idea what was wrong, thinking the worst. They almost immediately noticed a white oval shaped object sitting stationary over the back of their property.

The oval shaped object had a solid ring of blue lights which seemed to be moving around the white colored object.

A slight and annoying hum could be heard coming from it. The mother went over and grabbed the two children and went into the house with them, the dad followed close behind.

They thought it would be safer being inside looking out. Once inside the home, they proceeded to a back bedroom, closed the door behind them as not to allow any light from inside the home to give away where they were (feeling frightened at this time).

Through the window they watched the object, still sitting in the exact spot from when they first noted it. The trees which were below it were all lit up in a white light, and for a good distance around the area.

After a total of about 4 minutes of watching this unusual craft, it slowly started to move. As it did so the witnesses claimed they could see sparks dropping off the bottom side of it.

The sparks were reported to be a white in color. It rose up rather slowly and as it reached the top of the mountain, they lost sight of it.

The craft did not blink out, they thought it just crossed over the top and maybe moved down the other side. They reported that whatever it was, it was huge.

The husband said it was not a helicopter, no way ! He said they were very close to this thing, and what noise it gave off was minimal, except for the constant humming sound. The husband also said area residents would have been blind not to see this as it was so bright and large in size.

Sicamous, British Columbia.

Date:  December 26, 2003
Time:  11:30 p.m.

Investigator Brian Vike’s Note: I have video footage which was sent to me for this case from the eyewitnesses, If I can find it as I have boxed up a bunch of my UFO goodies, I will post it. Also I should mention, I did speak to the RCMP officer who attended the call. He told me he did not know what the object was and he did try to get closer to the object, but wasn’t able to due to the terrain.

On Boxing Day the dispatcher for the Sicamous, British Columbia RCMP detachment took a call from an excited woman who requested the RCMP come to her home and look into the unusual sight that had been taking place over a period of time.

While making the report to the RCMP, the witness felt that she wasn't being taken seriously, and that maybe they thought her to be a little crazy.

However, about an hour later, a member of the RCMP arrived in her yard, then it was a different story. As soon as the officer saw the object, he stood and looked in amazement.

The police officer had no idea what it was. The officer left the family’s home and drove towards the mountain where the object was sitting, to get a closer and better look.

As well as watch the events through their binoculars and with their naked eyes, the family also video-taped the object(s).

The acorn shaped, or diamond shaped, UFO was for the most part, moving quickly and erratically around the sky and it was zig-zagging back and forth.

At one point, when it was stationary, it shot out a large red fireball, and then six bright orange lights appeared in the sky around it.

Each of the orange lights had another two white lights on them. These white lights shot a beam of light towards the ground.

Approximately half an hour later, four more of the large acorn/diamond shaped objects showed up and sat either stationary or moved around the sky.

The witnesses said the objects appeared to have hundreds of lights on each of them.

Prior to December 26, 2003 the husband had seen a similar object up in the mountains near his home. While waiting for his daughter and her cousin to return with the snowmobile, he saw an object in the sky covered in lights.

He estimated that the UFO was a mile away, and as big as a house. He was so excited and frightened at what he saw that he immediately drove back home, ran into the house and told his wife.

He wanted his wife to go back with him to pick up the kids because he didn’t want to wait alone!

The previous owners of the family’s home also stated that they had seen silver disk-shaped objects flying over and around the mountains behind the house, on many occasions.

This story proved interesting enough that the television station (CHBC TV out of Kelowna, British Columbia) sent a news crew to interview the family and to get a copy of the footage. CHBC TV is a part of the Global TV network which is one of Canada's giants in the media business.

The story ended up airing not just on that station, but aired all over British Columbia on Global BCTV. They ran the story at least three times as a part of their news.

Once at 6:00 p.m. Friday night, again at 11:00 p.m. and again on the Saturday morning news. As I was the investigator on the case they also called me a number of times and interviewed me about the story. The news gave this story a good length of time to play out on TV which was really great to see.

Something else of interest prior to these sightings but in the same area was when an RCMP officer who was out on his usual rounds in his patrol car ... noticed an object in the sky and was instantly hit with a beam of light from it. After his shift was over and upon his return to his detachment he informed his co-workers of what he had seen. They thought he was seeing things. Now perhaps they have a different interpretation of the event.

Orange Colored Lights/Objects Seen In The Sky From Corner Brook Newfoundland

Date:  September 6, 2014
Time:  11:50 p.m.

Number of Objects: One moving orange light and a few minutes later a formation in a diamond shape of 4 orange lights. standing still

Shape of Objects:  Numerous.
Colour of Object: Orange.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: At 11:50 p.m. I was leaving my house to pickup my son at work. When locked the door of my house, I noticed a non blinking orange light to my right moving very slowly in the sky approximately 700 to 1000 feet in the sky.

My first thought, is what am I looking at here. There was no sound as the orange light kept moving from the south to north towards me.

It appeared to be following the transmission line between Confederation Drive and MacPherson Avenue. I observed the moving light for approximately 1 minute before it went behind a tree from my view.

Since my son got off work at mid-night I got in my car and proceeded to his location. On route proceeding south on Confederation Drive I was scanning the sky for this orange object.

It was then I noticed the formation of 4 non blinking lights to my left about 5,000 to 7,000 feet in the sky above Dennis GM auto dealership.

These 4 orange lights were not moving. I observed them for a minute and then continued on to pick-up my son. After picking up my son he informed that they lost internet service around 11:15 p.m. and was still not operating when he left work.

I told him about what I had seen in the sky and we proceeded to return to the area where I had last seen the 4 standing orange lights.

This all occurred in a time frame of approximately three minutes. The orange lights were not there. A couple of nights later I received a call from my son around 10:00 p.m. informing me to look over the bay as he and a friend were observing a single orange light on the hills on the north shore of the Bay of Islands.

From my advantage point I could not see them. On the 16th December a low flying military flight flew over Corner Brook around noon time.

The flight was very close to the path of the single orange light I had observed moving in the sky on September 6, 2014 and after flying this path it banked to the left and flew low over the north side of the bay where my son and friend had observed the single orange light.

The following day a picture of the plane banking to the left was in the newspaper, the Western Star. It was reported that the military flight was a C130 cargo plane.

The plane I saw did not look like a cargo plane to me. My son did not see the flight, but the picture he saw in the newspaper appeared to be a military C140, search and rescue plane which he says contains all kinds of surveillance equipment .

What do you make of this ?

Report Seven - Remarkable UFO Wave Continues Over British Columbia Canada - Pictures (UFO Investigator Brian Vike)

Investigator Brian Vike’s Note: For this report, report seven, I start off with another large case. Missing Time In Kelowna, British Columbia.

Alien Abduction/Missing Time in Kelowna, British Columbia - One Ladies Story (Pictures)

By Brian Vike (The Vike Factor - Houston, British Columbia Centre For UFO Research)

The story is real, but one of the names in this report is fictitious for obvious reasons. Corina, the driver of the vehicle is her real name.

Monday - August 18, 2003 I received a telephone call from Corina who lives in Kelowna, British Columbia.

The lady was very upset and had a time speaking of the event that took place with her and a close female friend of hers.

She told me today that a friend had brought over a newspaper article which was run in the Kelowna Capital Newspaper. The headline read "Seeking Witnesses to UFO." which showed up on August 15, 2003

Here is her story.

She tells that her and her friend are having a very hard time dealing with what took place. Also another couple who lives in the area watched an aerial craft hovering close to the location where the two ladies had parked there car at the side of the highway and gave confirmation to the incident, or at least witnessed an object.

At approximately 12:05 a.m., July 31, 2003 the two ladies were playing around on the computer when Linda said, we haven't done any star gazing in a long time, so Corina said, you're right, lets go out and do some star gazing.

They left home at 12:05 a.m. heading out to an area where they would get a look at the clear night sky without having lights to obscure their view. Corina drove to Glenmore, which is north from where she lives and is on the back road heading to Winfield from Kelowna, British Columbia.

They were driving along and Corina reported that there was quite a bit of traffic for that time of the night, but soon after they decided to stop just off to the side of the road to see what they might notice, the traffic stopped coming.

Above Picture: This is where Corina pulled her Jeep over to the side of the road and they both got out.

There was not a light from any vehicles, not anything other than a very dark stretch of road. Corina grabbed her flashlight and shone it into the sky as she has done this in the past. Her friend Linda had the binoculars on the other side of the car scanning the starry night sky.

They were there only a minute out of the car when her Linda said, this is really strange. There are three stars up in the sky and formed into a triangle shape. All three lights at this time were solid white.

Both ladies watched as the three white lights started moving, but moving together. The witness with the binoculars said stars don't do that, and Corina replies, of course not, as she thought it may have been a plane or something.

Above Picture: This is where Corina spotted all the Alien eyes looking at them.

Linda replies, no this is not a plane as the lights were changing color to a neon green and the object had stopped and hovered just ahead of their car on the highway.

Corina turned the headlights off, and shone her flashlight down the road in front of her car. They were worrying about animals such as a bear, cougars, etc. being around in this isolated area. As she shone the light up the road both of the women spotted something which frightened them a lot.

Five sets of eyes staring at approximately 40 feet away from them. As frightened as they were, their first thoughts were of coyotes or some other wild animal, but she said once you really look your brain takes it in.

Corina describes the creatures as being roughly four feet tall, dark gray shoulders and coming towards the women. Corina said "I was so scared I could hardly talk, and could hardly breathe". She yelled to her friend Linda, "get in the car, get in the car".

Corina said they both scrambled to get back into the vehicle, but she said it was like moving through quicksand and it felt horrible. Being so terrified and trying to move as fast as they possibly could, it felt as if everything was slowing down around them.

Once they were both back in the car, Corina tried to turn the ignition on so she could get the power windows up. But all the electrics on the car was failing. The dome light, headlights were going off and on, on their own and as she said. "Everything was going nuts" !

Finally the car started and they turned around in the middle of the road and sped off towards home and as they traveled along they noticed a fair bit of traffic coming in their direction. (Corina commented to me, where was all the traffic when all this was happening?)

As they drove along the road, Corina said to Linda, "this is the weirdest thing. "She said I feel like electricity, my whole body is tingling, just like I was zapped by a charge from a battery". When Linda heard this, she said, "I didn't want to say anything to you as you might think I was nuts, but I am feeling the same. As if I was hit by an electrical charge."

As Linda was explaining how she felt, and facing Corina she glanced at the clock in car and said, "Jesus Corina, look at the time" ! Corina said what are you talking about ? Linda said we were only stopped and out of the car for a few minutes at the most, and the time of the car's clock reads an extra 25 minutes of time.

As they drove along and close to home they both discussed it and wondered if they had imagined it all. As they were just about home, they turned onto Baker Street which is covered in darkness next to a field. All of a sudden they saw this bright, glowing neon green ball low in the sky.

The object started moving to the right, "stop", left, "stop", right, "stop", left, "stop" and then it started to move away until the ladies car came to a halt, and so did the object. Before they knew it, the ball of green light started heading towards them at a high rate of speed and hovered high above their car.

At this point they just wanted to get to their home and be as far away from whatever it was as possible.

The driver sped off quickly again and they headed into an orchard which was very close by. They thought they would not be seen hiding amongst the trees, plus there was no lighting in this area to reveal their position.

Corina looked at her friend and said, "they will never find us here". Both women are sitting in the car trying to get themselves together as the driver said she was losing it at this point. Only after a very short time after arriving in the orchard Linda said, Corina you better look out the front windscreen and look up slightly.

We don't have just one green ball of light, there are now three, glowing green objects. The way the green lights were in the sky, it looked as if the they formed a triangle formation and all moving now together. After a short period of time each of the green lights moved away in different directions.

(Brian Vike asked if the witness could give some idea of how large the green lights were. The witness told me each of the lights were approximately half the size of a full moon). After seeing the lights flying off into different directions the ladies raced home as quickly as they possibly could.

Once safe at home, both ladies shaken, they tried to come up with some reasonable explanation for what just happened.

They tried to put it out of their minds but that was impossible ! Later on, both ladies turned in for the night and when they woke up in the morning, Corina discovered a large bruise on her left breast and another on the bottom of her foot. She did not know how they got there but she did know they were extremely painful.

As she sat drinking a cup of coffee, Linda finally got up and was walking down the hall towards the kitchen when she said, "god, good morning - do I feel rough this morning". After Linda finished saying that, Corina watched as blood came pouring from Linda's nose.

Corina jumped up, ran and grabbed a towel. Linda also commented that she was having a lot of pain in her lower back area. She asked Corina to have a look to see if there was anything that could be seen.

So she looked and gasped, there was a large circle burned into her skin and was located in the middle, lower back area (tail bone). Also bruises were found on Linda's body as well, some of them appeared to look like finger marks and there were three of them on each thigh. Both women at this point were shocked, upset and very frightened.

Linda, who was up visiting from the Abbotsford ended her holiday and headed back home. Two days after being home in Abbotsford, B.C. she went to consult her family doctor due to still experiencing the terrible pain which was originating from her lower back, plus it was not getting any better.

Her doctor examined her, and her injury to her back, the doctor said if I didn't know any better I would say you have a radiation burn. He was of course referring to the burn mark on Linda's back.

The doctor is still trying to heal this mark on her back, as something had burned right through the outer layer of this ladies skin.

Investigator Brian Vike's Note: I would also like to add, this Missing Time event took place around the same date over 200 witnessed watched one amazing event unfold in southeastern British Columbia. I also received a flood of sighting reports which also came from this area. July 27/28 to August 18, 2003. (Over 200 Witnesses Speak Out - British Columbia UFOs, Beam Of Light, Puzzled And Frightened Residents).

Connection With Missing Time Experience In Kelowna, British Columbia.

This witness had no idea about the missing time event which involved Corina and her friend.

I had a telephone call from a lady who lives in Kelowna, British Columbia today, August 26, 2003. She explained that a friend had cut out an article which ran in the Kelowna Capital Newspaper about a UFO Investigator Seeking Witnesses To A UFO Sighting.

The lady told me she saw an unusual object in the night sky on July 31, 2003. She also told me she has a habit of glancing up into the sky as she has a beautiful view of the stars and it is very dark in her area.

On this night the woman had already turned in, but couldn't sleep due to how warm it was in her home. The lady got up out of bed and went outside for some weird reason and when outside the lady looked towards the south. As the witness sat out looking around she spotted something, her thoughts were there shouldn't be any airplanes out here at this time of night, but there was something very strange.

She watched an object traveling from east to west and described the object as being almond in shape and a luminas green in color. The witness also reports only seeing one green light.

The lady reports that from their location, which was not at all far away from the two ladies who experienced the missing time, something very strange took place. She brought out her camera to take some pictures, but as she tried to take her photos, the camera would not work.

It went dead! Also she reports that the evening was warm, and she could hear coyotes cutting up. But soon they became silent, and so did everything else around them including the crickets which were making some noise. She said it was if someone had clicked off a switch. The air went from a nice sweet smelling night to a musty cold in this dead silence.

Also this witness said that two nights ago a person telephoned the radio station (CKOV) on an open line call in program and reported seeing a streak of light, and at the front of this streak a round ball was noted and the caller reported "it" had landed somewhere in South East Kelowna in the exact area where the green object had been witnessed, also where the two ladies had their missing time event.

Investigator Brian Vike's Note: This sighting is very, very important due to the date of this sighting, the time it was witnessed, the color which was green and the shape, which is reported here to be almond in shape.

Also what has me all excited over it, is due to the location where the object was observed, which was where the two ladies watched the beings on the side of the highway and the green lights, then experienced the missing time.

There will be more coming on this case, also I have interviewed the second witness who had the missing time on July 31, 2003 and will be writing up the report really quick.

Before I forget, I will be contacting CKOV in hopes of getting some information, and if not maybe I may get lucky and have them request that this witness to the streak of light get a hold of me.

Continuing Alien Abduction Related Problems For British Columbia Family.

From Brian Vike's Archives.

November 8th and 9th, 2003

Since July 31, 2003, after a UFO encounter, missing time and disturbing episodes which followed, one of the women has continued to have some medical problems.

Corina continues to have a constant feeling of pressure on her head and is becoming worse as the days and weeks go by. This feeling of pressure has now moved into her neck. On November 8, 2003 Corina, while at her home, became cold as her body temperature dropped to 35.2 C.

She immediately called the hospital and talked to a nurse who informed her that it sounded like hypothermia was setting in. The color of Corina's skin started to change, to become almost whitish/grey.

She was freezing to the point where she felt paralyzed and had major problems moving or walking. Also her heart was beating really irregularly and she reports it was down to 44 bpm. Corina's daughter is also experiencing an irregular heart rate as well.

Investigator Brian Vike’s Note: The average normal temperature is 98.6 F (37 C). Corina temperature dropped a little over 2 degrees and no explanation has been given as to what has caused this to happen.

If your recorded rectal or ear temperature is less than 97 F (36.11 C), you have an abnormally low body temperature (hypothermia). If your rectal or ear temperature is 95 F (35 C) or lower, call a health professional immediately.

Information on taking your heartbeat measurement.

Your pulse is caused by your heart beating. As your heart beats and forces blood through your body, you can feel a throbbing sensation (the pulse) by putting your fingers over one of your arteries at any point where the artery comes close to the surface of your skin, such as your wrist, neck, or upper arm.

Counting your pulse rate is a simple way to estimate how fast your heart is beating. Pulse rate measurements are often done by a health professional as part of a physical examination or in an emergency, but you can easily learn to measure your own pulse rate as well.

A pulse is usually described in terms of its rate, which is the number of beats per minute (bpm).

However, the rhythm and strength of the heartbeat can also be noted, as well as whether the blood vessel feels hard or soft. An irregular rhythm, a weak pulse, or a hard blood vessel may indicate a medical condition that needs further evaluation.

The pulse rate is measured by counting the beats in a set period of time (at least 15 to 20 seconds) and multiplying that number to get the number of beats per minute.

When you exercise, have a fever, or are under stress, your heart rate usually speeds up to meet your body's increased need for oxygen and nutrients carried in the blood.

As a result, your pulse rate normally varies from minute to minute. Unless your pulse rate is being measured to check your fitness level or in an emergency situation, it is usually measured after you have rested for 10 minutes or more. This measurement is called a resting pulse rate. It is an accurate and simple assessment of the health of the heart and circulatory system.

I always recommend to people if they feel there are medical problems that they seek out a health professional.

On Saturday night Corina's daughter went to bed, after a short period of time she started having an unusual and vivid dream about being in some type of vehicle with two beings. She felt that they were there to take her somewhere. The young girl felt that where ever they were going wasn't the place to be.

So in her "dream" she jumped from the vehicle and landed on the ground hitting her right leg and rolled along the ground for a short distance. Corina's daughter, who also has been a victim of these unwanted visits by beings from elsewhere, woke up Sunday morning, November 9, 2003 with extreme pain in her knee.

Actually as she climbed out of her bed her leg folded up right underneath her. She was fine the night before, hadn't been involved in anything which may have caused the injury that I have reported below.

Corina's daughter's cartilage in her right knee is ripped/torn and she has to be on crutches for a while until it heals up. The doctor asked the girl if she had took part in any sporting activities, or goofing around with friends, "she replied no"!

After they left the doctors office and some time later the pain moved up into her thigh and is getting worse. Corina is taking her daughter back to the doctor, or the hospital to have her checked out again.

Corina told me blood tests will be done in hopes of determining what caused the drop in Corina's body temperature, also checking to see if there are any problems developing with her daughter. She also mentioned that both her and her daughter are craving salted products and are extremely thirsty.

Both mother and daughter are totally exhausted, as if the two of them hadn't slept for days. Corina said, how can a person who is sleeping soundly in their bed wake up in the morning with a torn cartilage in her right knee. I have to agree with her. Very strange indeed.

Investigator Brian Vike’s Note: I telephoned Corina Monday night to see how both her and her daughter were feeling. Corina sounded extremely tired, like she had no energy even to carry on a conversation.

I must say I find this to be very upsetting for me to hear what has...... and is ....taking place with this family. I also am going to try to get down to see them if the weather holds. There is also more which has taken place, but due to this information being of a personal nature, "I will not" be adding this to any of my reports.

Corina mentioned that a couple of nights before November 8, 2003 her daughter woke up at 3:00 a.m. to a loud and very strange and unusual sound coming from the orchard behind their home. And the dogs in the area were making such a noise.

She was so frightened from hearing such a loud and weird sound that she pulled the covers up over her head. She couldn't even give me an example of what the noise sounded like as it was so strange.

The very next night after Corina's daughter heard this crazy noise, she said she got woken up at 4:05 a.m. to the same sound, or at least something she could not make any sense of.

Corina said the dogs were going crazy, the cows in the area were acting up, so she got out of bed and moved onto the balcony and looked toward the orchard. It was dark and she could see nothing but could still hear the sound.

She told me she started clapping her hands, making noises herself and the strange sound eventually stopped. Although the dogs still were acting up in the area but since the sound had stopped, Corina decided to go back to bed.

However, no sooner did she get back under the covers than the noise returned. She rolled over and tried to block out the sound until she ended up going to sleep.

Investigator Brian Vike’s Note: I tried to find out if abductees have even experienced hypothermia after an encounter. After searching and reading all kinds of matter I came up with nothing.

So I contacted Mr. Derrel Sims and Mr. Whitley Stieber to ask if they had encountered anyone reporting hypothermia right after an event. They both were so helpful. Also I contacted other abductees, but they also said they had never experienced hypothermia after an abduction.

Of course this raises some questions which people were interested in. From what I was told a lot of discussion has not taken place on the idea of hypothermia after an abduction, mainly because no one has reported this phenomena as taking place.

Some abductees report feeling very cold leading up to the actual abduction, also feeling very cold just after it took place. Many report a coldness when inside a craft to the point they were shaking. Some of this I am sure is due to the fear one must go through when being taken.

So why is this woman reporting hypothermia ? Is it due from being in a very cold environment (on a craft), plus the fright of the whole situation. Did this occur because she was dropped off outside in a cold environment, which it was at the time of this incident.

Or was the hypothermia condition caused by a medical problem no one is aware of right now. There always seems to be more questions than answers. Maybe the blood tests, etc.. will show something. We will have to wait and see and pray for some answers.

I will leave this off here for now. I would like to say this is the end of this story, but I have my doubts. The good thing is I keep in contact with Corina on a daily basis and have told her if she just wants to chat, then call me anytime.

More news that I just received:

I just had an email from a lady who resides in Vernon, British Columbia. She has informed me that a couple of business owners were in Kelowna, British Columbia on November 8, 2003 and watched green lights in the south west sky's over Kelowna, B.C.

This event took place the very same night problems started again for the Kelowna family. I hope to have a full report on the sighting of the green lights.

Also I want everyone to know, no information had been given out to anyone about what took place on November 8, 2003 with Corina and her daughter. So again we have green lights showing up and strange events taking place with a close friend.

I can honestly say, in my opinion, there creatures that take folks from the comfort of their homes are not here to give humanity a gift, as some may suggest. They are here to experiment, degrade and frighten everyone who comes in contact with them. No one will ever convince me other wise.

Take good care out there, and please if anyone who has been involved in an abduction and has ever experienced hypothermia after the incident, I would really appreciate hearing from you.

Thank you.

Email report.

Hello, I am writing to you in regard to the light beam you report on your site. I would like to add the following. In early August ( It was sometime after the east coast blackout and prior to the Mars approach of August 27) my wife and I were parked beside the Vedder River at Yarrow, British Columbia to observe Mars.

The following occurred: At approximately midnight to the northeast we observed a very bright aurora. It was the brightest display I have ever observed this far south and the following day the news reported it had been seen as far south as California.

Between midnight and one am we noticed a band of light as you describe. It stretched from the northern horizon (Sumas Mountain) to the southern horizon (Vedder Mountain).

It was about the width of a finger held at arms length and was self luminous. We watched it for some time until it dissipated. That night the moon was either full or nearly so. Although we did not use them to observe the light beam we had with us an 8” refractor, 7x50 binoculars and a Cannon digital camera.

I am an experienced amateur astronomer and private pilot having sent many hours observing both the day and night sky over the years. I have never seen anything like this previously.

Sincerely,

If you seen this object, or anything else like it, would you please contact me, Brian Vike at sighting@telus.net

Kelowna, British Columbia.

Date:  August, 2003
Time:  Evening.

Dear Sir, I was just visiting your web site and I must say what I read not only shocked me, it sent shivers up and down my spine!

I felt I had to contact you and tell you about my experience with the sighting of the mysterious beam of light that was observed back in July and again three weeks later, which is when I witnessed this odd phenomena.

It was fairly late in the evening as I recall because I was already in bed watching T.V. when all of a sudden I caught something out of the corner of my eye.I turned my head and out of my bedroom window I saw this very bright beam of light hovering in the sky going from northwest to southeast at what I would judge to be at least 20,000 ft.or better in altitude.

It looked to be about 100 feet. in width and stretched across a long portion of the sky. This beam of light was very much like what you would see from a neon tube in that it had a very distinct outline, much like a very long rectangle.

It looked like it might be rotating slowly, but it was very hard to tell really, because of the brightness of the object. I say object because that is the best way I can describe what it was I saw.

The out line of this beam was very distinct in that within it, it was so bright and yet all around it, it was a very dark clear night. You could see the stars above and below and I saw a plane flying at a high altitude (much higher and further away) off to the southwest, travelling from west to east, as is not unusual any night of the week.

This sighting was unlike any thing I have ever witnessed before in my lifetime. I have lived up north and out on the prairies, and have seen the northern lights on hundred's of occasions and I can tell you this was definitely not what I saw that night!

This beam of light, for want of a better term sat stationary in the sky for a few seconds then seemed to blink out from south to north, like it was being drawn back to a point of origin. The best way I can describe what I mean by this is it was much like what I remember seeing in the movie 'Star Wars', when Luke drew his light saber sword. I know that seems funny, but it is the only way to describe what I saw that night.

I hollered for my room-mate to come and see it. By the time he got to my room this thing was gone, but he would certainly tell you I was quite agitated and excited by what I had just witnessed. I could not believe my eyes, but I said to the roomy "there is no way anyone who was outside at that time of night could possibly have missed it!".

We watched the news on our local station for the next few nights in hopes someone else may have seen it, but nothing came up and so I never gave it another thought as I have seen many strange things in the night sky over the years I have lived here in Kelowna; many times with other people, but have never reported anything before because I did not want the attention.

So when I came across your website tonight you can understand how it hit me to find out I was not alone! I just got a computer last week and am only now learning how to use it, but I had to write you when I saw the reports on your sight. I had no idea you even existed until tonight.

Anyway, I will be watching the sky more often now as I know I am not alone in wondering what is going on up there.

Stationary Light Over Kelowna, British Columbia.

Date: Approximately August 2003.
Time: Around 10:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

Message: Hi there, I just read the article on Castanet about UFO sightings. I moved from Kelowna to Chilliwack in July 2004 but I saw something strange, a light over Okanagan Lake around August 2003.

My Condo was facing the Mission just south of KLO Road and I was living on the top floor (4) and had an excellent view from Black Mountain to Okanagan Lake. I was still a smoker then and spent lots of time on my balcony.

I saw this light which was about 70% stationary and at times moved to the right or to the left. Watched this with my binoculars for more than an hour and I knew that it was not an airplane.

Airplanes do not stay in one place and I thought perhaps it was a UFO and then I laughed it off as being absurd. I told my children what I had seen and they did not know what to think of that story. This must have been around 10:30 to 11:00 at night. So, that is my story.

Have a great day.

email report.

Mr. Vike, I didn't see the lights on July 27, 2003, but I think it was Friday September (Correct date - August 1, 2003) 1st I observed from my deck strange lights that appeared to be out in space.

At first I thought it was a plane but then convinced myself it was to far up to be a plane. My next thought was a satellite, but then I saw another one and another one.

We counted at least six and they traveled at different speeds and seemed to zig zag every once in a while. We watched for quite a while then they stopped going by.

One seemed to travel at a great speed as for as high up as it appeared it crossed the sky quite quickly. It may have a reasonable explanation but none I can come up with. I do not consider myself a believer of UFOs, but I do know it is a big universe and to think in all of that space we are the only one's would be kind of a stretch.

Additional Information:

Hi Brian, it was pretty late and I was on my to bed. I said September 1, but I meant August 1 of this year (2003). I'll tackle your questions one at a time.

As for meteors, I'm no space expert but I do watch the sky allot and I've seen allot of meteors and shooting stars and they definitely not either of those. I mentioned they zig zagged once and a while and I should mention they also traveled in different directions. There were no tails or trails behind them but they were also pretty high up, just a dot of light.

As for time of night it must have been 10:30 or 11:00. My step-daughter and I watched for around 20 minutes. I say August 1, but I'm not quite sure as I didn't think much about it until my wife pointed out the story in the capital News the other day.

There was no pattern to them. They just traveled back and forth. We saw several but I was guessing we were watching 5 or 6 more than once. No stoppage and no sound as far up as they were.

It was kind of funny, earlier in the evening a plane passed over and my father in law told the kids it was a UFO. When we saw the lights we were quite taken a back.

We tried to watch through binoculars but couldn't focus on the lights to get a good look at them. I told the Step-daughter that if they were UFOs then the air force jets should be coming by anytime but they didn't come. I'm sure what we saw had to have a reasonable explanation but I had to think after I read the story. I would be interested in hearing if anyone else saw these lights. Feel free to contact me if you would like anymore info.

On your website I noticed there seems to be allot of activity around the Houston area, what do you think they would be interested in up there? Take it easy and have a good weekend.

Orange/Red Balls Of Light In The Sky Over Whitby Ontario (Video Footage)

Date:  December 26, 2014
Time:  Approx: 9;15 p.m.

Hi there, not to sure what I just saw, but I was outside on my front porch when I happened to notice a orangey/red ball coming from northwest and heading southeast over my house in Whitby, Ontario.

This took place at approximately 9:15 p.m. on December 26, 2014. I saw a few more kind of appearing one after another.

I have never seen anything like it.

I grabbed my phone and took a video (not the best quality), but can still make out what I saw and by that time probably about 4 had gone by already.
