Unknown Sound And Bright Light Woke Family At French Creek Vancouver Island British Columbia

Date:  Mid September 2012
Time:  Just after midnight.

Number of witnesses: 4
Shape of Objects: Bright light.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: Myself, my husband, my daughter (13) and our exchange student from Germany (16) were sleeping when all of us were woken up by a extremely bright light (blinds were closed).

There was also a noise which I think initially woke us up, then we saw the light. The light was gone as quickly as it came. My husband and I thought it might have been a car accident and it was headlights that we saw, so we drove out to the Island hwy (our property runs parallel to the hwy).

We saw no indication that it was a car accident. I didn't think much of it until I just read an article in the news about a similar sighting around the same time, but a month later.(Friday October 19th edition)

Rash Of UFO Sightings Continues Over Central Island

The sightings of strange, unidientified objects flying over central Vancouver Island continue to pour in, says B.C. UFO researcher Brian Vike.

The latest sighting, he said, was spotted over French Creek on Oct. 13, just after midnight.

The witness, whose identity Vike keeps in strict confidence, said she was laying in bed with her eyes closed at about 12:15 a.m.

Bright White Light/Object Zipped Across The Sky Over Ottawa Ontario

In regards to the post, "Glowing Object/Light Moving Really Quickly Across The Sky Over Kingston Ontario", that description is exactly to what I saw in Ottawa, October 17th, 2012 around 1:30 a.m. 

I was leaving the library at University of Ottawa, walking on Cumberland towards Laurier and to my left I saw a bright white light that just zipped across the sky, there was a building so as it zipped across I couldn't see where it went because the building blocked my view. 

I don't know what your description is: Vike Factor Note: This portion, or sentence is what another witness quoted when seeing the same object. "Just happened to be looking out my window and saw a really bright light across the sky - glowing orb-like moving very fast. It wasn't like any shooting star I had ever seen there was no tail visible."

It was just like that.

I was by myself and didn't know what to think, so I Googled UFO sighting and came across how someone saw what I saw one hour earlier in Kingston, thought I would let you know what I saw!

Unknown Light Makes Circles In The Sky Over West End Ottawa Ontario

Time:  Approx: 6:20 p.m.

Hello there, last night my friend and I spotted the same light that you are describing, however we first saw it around 6:20 p.m. in the west end.

 

We followed it, thinking at first that it was a spot light, however after following it, we realized that no matter how close we tried to get, we could not get directly under it.

We walked well-over a kilometer, cutting down back alleys and through parks to try and get close, but with no avail.

 

Heading back we actually witnessed it follow us home, always keeping the same relative distance from us.

By the time we got home it was about 9:00 p.m., my room mates joined us and we sat in our backyard watching it until around 11:00 p.m.

 

I think it should also be noted that the speed of the light was not constant, it occasionally would speed up and slow down, with no noticeable pattern.

 

Recently my room mates and I have been dealing with intense paranormal activity at our house and as well at my work place, so to see this last night was a bit strange.

 

All four of us (my two roommates, my friend and myself) have been witness to strange occurrences in our house, and were under the assumption that they may be related, however if others as well have seen this, then I have no idea.

Light Going In Circles Seen Over Downtown Ottawa Ontario

Hi, I actually saw the exact same light on October 17th, 2012 at 2:30 a.m. I came home and sat out on my balcony and noticed a faint light going in a perfect circle over and over and I could not figure out what it could be.

I tried taking pictures but because the light was behind the clouds it was too faint to capture.

I didn't think anything of it because I had been drinking and thought I was just seeing things. I told my friend the next day and I guess he looked online and found your description (which matches mine perfectly) I live in downtown Ottawa.

Glowing Line Of Orange Light Seen In The Sky Toward Fort Saskatchewan Alberta (Flaring From Gas Rig)

Hello, on  around 1:00 a.m. maybe even 12:30 a.m., my husband and I seen a glowing line of light. It was orange looking and it would get brighter and darker.

I don't think it moved, but it did stay there for about an hour. Then after that we couldn't see it anymore, last night was October 15th 2012 and I live in Edmonton Alberta and I seen it northeast toward Fort Saskatchewan.

Hi Brian, I saw the same object either fall or fly across the sky at the same time. I was driving home from a night shift and it was about 12:55 a.m. when I saw it.

It looked like a green flare or Roman candle is a good description. I was driving along Lakeshore towards Burloak, Ontario.

Green Ball Of Light Plummeted From The Sky Over Brampton Ontario

Hi guys, I saw the same thing October 17, 2012 at around 12:00 a.m. - 1:00 a.m., it looked like a green ball appeared, maybe 20 stories high and plummeted about 10 stories down and disappeared.

It had characteristics of a firecracker, but definitely wasn't, it was completely silent. I live in a well populated area Brampton (greater Toronto area) wish I could have got it on film, but it was so fast, this is my first experience with seeing something like this.

Light Going In Circles In The Sky Over Ottawa Ontario

Hi, I live in Gatineau and last night (October 17th, 2012)  I saw a light going around in a circle over Ottawa. It looked like it was doing an elliptic design, but l am not sure, it could have been the angle at which I was seeing it. 

It wasn't a spot light because there was no beam of light coming from the ground, in fact it was cloudy and the light was behind the clouds, sometimes seeming brighter and other times almost invisible depending on the thickness of the cloud cover. 

I watched it for at least an hour, from 2:00 a.m. to 3:00 a.m. I haven't seen any reports on the news this morning, I'm wondering if anyone else as seen this.

Bright Green Ball Of Light Falls Straight Downward Over Mississauga Ontario

My name is (removed) and I was driving around at 1:00 a.m. in the morning with my older brother, and we seen a bright green ball of light come straight down from the sky.

It looked like a firework and we froze, it happened so fast, but what makes this strange is that since 6:30 p.m. that day (October 16, 2012) we seen many flashing lights in the sky over Milton, to Mississauga.

We also seen what appeared to be fighter jets and chopper gunners circling the area for about 5 hours straight, we could not understand this.

We looked to the news and nothing came up. Also my grandma and younger brother seen a yellow bright light being circled by jets then it exploded straight up to the sky and vanished.

There was also a strange smell outside. I have never seen anything like this in my life.

Hi, I live in Ottawa and this morning at 5:10 a.m., I put my dog outside and quickly noticed a round orb emitting white light in the dark morning sky. This was moving in a elliptical  pattern for quite some time.

Its pattern moved and shifted angles. Very cool sighting. This morning, when I got to work, I talked to a co-worker who saw the very same sighting from across the city.

Faint Red/White Glowing Oval Seen In The Sky Northwest Of Dickensfield Alberta

Hey, I was just surfing the net looking for some information as to what exactly me and my friend saw in the sky tonight, and the description of what that guy seen with his friend is pretty exact to what we saw.

After work me and a friend were having a smoke in his backyard and I looked up and noticed that the sky was kind of reddish.

Then my friend yelled, "look at that", and pointed to the sky just northeast of Dickensfield area and the best way I could describe it was a faint reddish white oval shaped glowing that had a red aura going straight down to the ground.

 All around the surrounding area it was pulsing red to the sky lighting it up. It lasted for about 5-7 minutes. My camera couldn't capture anything

Just happened to be looking out my window and saw a really bright light across the sky - glowing orb-like moving very fast. It wasn't like any shooting star I had ever seen there was no tail visible.

Bright Light Spotted From Dryden Ontario

Hey my names (name removed) I woke up this morning at around 5:00 a.m. as my house was pitch black. I looked out the window because I noticed a bright light. It was crazy.

I ran downstairs and woke up my boyfriend. We sat in my kitchen for 2 hours watching it and at first it seemed really close because it was the size of a small bowling ball.

It looked like it was 2 blocks away from my house over this soccer field, but then it kept moving farther away towards Thunder Bay, nothing can move as fast as this thing did.

We have never seen anything like it, then it moved higher into the sky. It would disappear every little once and awhile and then reappear again.

It did this for a few hours, from what everyone else has said about there sightings it sounds the exact same. I'm charging my phone right now because I have a picture and a video.

So I will send that to you once my phones charged.

I just saw a really strange light fall from the sky over Pineview.

It was like a star that got bright, fell at a weird speed and unnatural angle and hen the trajectory curved towards the south.

It made a strange loud rumble, not like a plain, but a bit like an approaching train. So weird. This was at 10:00 p.m., Tuesday the 16th of October.

Vertical Bright Strobing Cylinder Shaped Light Over Northeast Of Edmonton Alberta (Update)

Time:  1:15 a.m.

Hey Brian, It is 1:15 a.m. October 16th, 2012 in Edmonton and my friend and I can still see a large strange strobing horizontal cloud lit up by an untraceable orange light north east of Edmonton.

There was a fixed vertical bright strobing cylinder shaped light above the cloud a half an hour or so ago. We could not get a good picture with our smart phones.

We have been watching for a while and the vertical light keeps showing up again but very faint compared to earlier and in slightly different heights above the cloud.

We are trying to call the radio station, but its busy. This is amazing!
