Hi Brian, I Googled the sighting I had last night and your details popped up. Last night there were two sightings in Radiokop/Weltevredenpark.

They looked like small balls of flames, no noise just a burning light in the sky moving swiftly and then gone.

7 Orange Lights Seen Around Weltevreden Park Johannesburg South Africa

Time:  Evening.

Hi, I stay around Weltevreden Park. On the evening of the 9th November 2011, I was travelling from N1 Highway into Beyers Naude Drive towards the west (Honeydew Direction) when we spotted five to seven orange lights up in the sky.

They looked to be just hanging up there, shimmering in orange/goldish colour.

We stopped momentarily on the side of the road to have a look. Kindly advise if anyone reported such. The four or five seemed to be in curvy formation, but there was one behind them. Very eerie as there was no noise except cars passing by on Beyers Naude.
