Shiny Metallic Cigar Shaped UFO Over Moose Jaw Saskatchewan

Brian Vike's Favorite Cases.

Date:  July-August 1969 ?

Time:  ??

Message: Back in 1969, several members of my family and some neighbors across the street saw a shiny metallic cigar shaped object in the sky over the southwest area of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan.

It hovered in the sky for several minutes and then shot off.  I was nearly 5 years old at the time and cannot personally remember the incident. However, several calls were placed to the airbase regarding the sighting and it was reported in the Moose Jaw Times Herald.  It was reported sometime in July-August, I think.

Also, back in 1947 when my mom was a girl, she and a number of students during recess at Westmount school in Moose Jaw saw several strange objects in formation hovering and moving in the sky above the school yard.

Thank you to the witness for this report.

Multiple Objects/UFOs Witnessed Over Moose Jaw Saskatchewan

Date:  August 1, 2012
Time:  2:50 a.m.

Number of witnesses: 1
Number of Objects: Multiple objects witnessed.
Shape of Objects: Bright and other dim lighted objects.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: UFO recorded flying east over Moose Jaw (over myself), at above (best guess) 500 feet in altitude.

I've been studying these types of UFOs for about 6 years and I've witnessed and encountered them from up close and can definitely say, they're self-luminous bodies of light, both star-like and rarely seen spherical.

I have not reached the local press.

If you have seen anything like this in the same area please be kind enough to contact Brian Vike at: sighting@telus.net with the details of your sighting. All personal information is kept confidential.

Southern Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan Oval Object (Photo)

Posted: January 24, 2009

Date: June 10, 2005
Time: 8:30 p.m.

Location of Sighting: Southern Moose Jaw.
Number of witnesses: 4
Number of objects: 1
Shape of objects: Oval.

HBCC UFO Research Note: I have added a photo that the witness allowed me to post, as for the video footage, I have seen it and it looks interesting. But I was asked not to post the footage and I certainly will be honoring this request.

Full Description of event/sighting: Hi Brian, I thought I sent this in to the site the day after it occurred, maybe I did, but maybe I just can't find it on the site! Anyway, here is what I wrote the day after I saw a silver object south of Moose Jaw, SK.

"Last night, two of my friends and I were walking around when I seen something flash out of the corner of my eye. I turned, and seen an ovalish-silver thing floating in the sky. I said, "Do you guys see that silver thing?" both of them said they did see it. We kind of watched it for a few minutes, not knowing what it was. It didn't make any sound, there was no smoke trail or anything. It looked like as if it was flashing every now and then. I ran into my house, got my video camera, and told my mom to come outside and see this. I filmed it until it disappeared into some pink clouds with a flash.

We ran to a park and stood in a soccer field trying to see it. We were there for a good 20 minutes, when we decided to go to a much bigger farmer's field to try and see it. Well about half a block away from the field, my friend spotted it again. It was going much slower and a few times it looked like it stopped moving. I started taping again, but it was farther away and was disappearing. We filmed it until we couldn't see it anymore."

Said tape went missing for a few years and wasn't found until the summer of 2007. Unfortunately, the tape had deteriorated somewhat. I filmed the footage off my TV. Since the tape became partially destroyed, the audio cuts in and out and the picture flickers somewhat in the first minute. The audio I have no problem with as the object didn't make a sound. In the movie, it appears as if the object is moving erratically - it's not, that's just my jittery camera skills!

Anyway, most people think it was an airplane or a weather balloon. The object was in the southern sky, toward 15 Wing Moose Jaw. I can definitely say that is not an ordinary plane. People have suggested that it was a glider, I don't think so. The weather balloon scenario could be possible, though I've never seen one before. A few days ago I contacted a worker at the air base and he told me this that in the summer, the flying usually ceases at 6:30 pm, so the likelihood that someone at the base saw the object is remote. So, I am coming to you with my tape and a description of what I saw. Let me know what you think.

Thank you to the witness for their report and photo.

Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan Fireball/Meteor Causes Loud Boom

Posted: October 30, 2008

Date: October 30, 2008
Time: 0300 hrs

Location of Sighting: Moose Jaw.
Number of witnesses: 1
Number of objects: 1
Shape of objects: Fireball with long tail.

HBCC UFO Research Note: I am very interested in hearing from anyone residing in Saskatchewan who may have heard the loud boom or seen the Fireball/meteor that passed overhead in the wee hours on October 30, 2008. Please contact Brian Vike at hbccufo@telus.net or through my website at http://www.hbccufo.org Thank you so much, Brian. Also I should make note that in Alberta loud sounds have been heard and they were so bad that they rattles the windows in peoples homes.

Full Description of event/sighting: Woken up by cat hissing at nothing. Looking out the window there was a very large fireball (about the size of a dime/nickel) that was traveling downwards from north west to north east. All of a sudden there was a large boom sound and then the electricity went out through a large part of the town, it stayed out for a couple of hours.

Thank you to the witness for their report.
