Red Object/Light Splits Into Five In The Sky Over Courtice Ontario

Time:  Approx: 8:45 p.m.

Hi there, last night around 8:45 p.m. I was driving down Prestonvale Road, just before the arena and in the sky was a red orb that was not blinking, then it split into 5 red orbs and they all vanished at once.

I've seen these red orbs a few times in the same area since last year and thought it was just planes. There is never any noise and usually there are two of them flying around with no blinking lights and they just vanish.

Round Orange Object Seen Over Courtice Ontario

We saw something similar in Courtice September 3, 2012. It was one object, orange and round traveling south to north. It was traveling slow, but steady then changed in shape and disappeared.

It was silent and had no trail behind it. It was strange.

Three Glowing Orange Lights Over Courtice Ontario

Time:  Evening.

Saw the exact same think in Courtice May 12, 2012 same scenario, 6 of us in backyard, looking south 5 drinking, one not.

Two orange "stars" moving west to south west, followed by a third maybe 30 seconds later.

Larger than stars, not flashing like plane, no sound. Similar path used by planes from Pearson about every three minutes. Definitely not planes.

No explanation from anyone to date.

Orange Glowing Ball Of Light In The Sky Over Courtice Ontario

Full Description of Event/Sighting: 5 of us were on the front lawn (4 drinking, 1 sober) in south Courtice.

We noticed 2 glowing orbs heading in a southern direction followed by a third shortly after, freaky!

Have video but is not very good at all (from phone).

Would love to see some media attention and maybe an 'official' explanation.

Courtice, Ontario A Bright Light

Location of Sighting: Courtice.

Shape of objects: Just a light.

Full Description of event/sighting: Just want to ask if there were any sightings in this area on Aug 4. I was outside around (very approx) 9:15pm and saw what I thought was a very bright star. I noticed it was moving and slightly orange in colour. It was looking up to the east and it moved south and east from where I first saw it. I was able to follow it for a good minute. My thoughts were plane or helicopter but I thought it was too bright. Also saw a plane in the air with the typical blinking light...but this one did not blink. It appeared to be getting further away until I could not longer see it either due to cloud cover and a tree in my view. No idea what it was but did see 2 similar reports on your blog. Similarly the Napean one is around the same time, direction and brightness as to what I was seeing. The Hanover report also has a similarity by explaining it as a satellite moving across the sky. That is how I would describe the speed and direction but I agree it was much too bright. Thank-you.
