I saw the same thing last night (Sept. 2, 2012) in Oshawa in the northern sky. Around 9 or 9:30pm. Approximately, 20-25 degrees north of the horizon, a single large orange ball moving steadily east to west. No sounds, no raise or lowering of elevation. Lasted about a minute before I lost if behind the trees.
ReplyDeleteThere was another one This past saturday night (March 23, 2013) it was at about 1500 ft moving from nnw to sse. it was silent, and moved quickly over the lake towards Rochester NY. The Durham Regional Police Helicopter followed about 60sec later but turned back over the shoreline.
ReplyDeleteLast night on March 23 2013 me and my girlfriend saw an orange ball quickly going across the sky right above the buildings on wentworth and oxford st across the street from macs and it was there for a couple of minutes just quickly flying across
ReplyDeleteLast night (June 15, 2013) my fiance and I had our wedding shower in Oshawa, around 1030pm we saw the same bright orange/red light 3 separate times, each lasted about a minute. It seemed to travel closer to us and then fade as though it began to travel backwards and then the light would abruptly disappear. Shortly after the second sighting the Durham Regional Police helicopter followed but turned back. It was really bizarre.
