UFO Sighting In Telkwa And Houston, B.C.

Brian Vike's Favorite Cases.

Newspaper Article

By Nicole Fitzgerald The Interior News Smithers, B.C.

The Interior News.

On July 29, winding down from a day on his Telkwa farm, Gordon Stewart settled into his chair facing two bay windows, overlooking the valley for a late-night movie. At 10:45 p.m., a bright light flashed by his field of vision, raising him from his chair, astonished at the peculiarity and speed of the sight.

After walking onto the front porch for a clearer view, only silence filled the valley sky smudged with light cloud cover. He called the RCMP. There was no air force activity in the area. He woke his wife Joanna, who had already turned in for the night without hearing or seeing anything. On sharing his description of the round, white light with a yellowish hue, he learned his wife had seen the same light in the same location a couple of months earlier.

"I didn't want to tell him because he'd think I was crazy," Joanne recounted. Earlier that evening at 10.20 p.m. in Houston, a Canfor employee stepped from a forklift to examine a phosphorescent like white ball of light with yellow undertones, which appeared to hover, before slowly crawling across the sky line.

The worker called out to two fellow co-workers who caught sight of the glowing light, which grew a tail as it gained momentum. The phenomenon gained speed towards Tweedsmuir Park and shot out of view over the horizon.

"I called them over because I wanted proof that I saw something and that I wasn't crazy," the Canfor employee explained. Despite having two witnesses, the Canfor employee wished to remain anonymous.

Despite his wife having seen the same phenomenon's, Stewart was relieved a similar sighting was reported the same day. Stewart caught the tail end of a movie when he was startled from his chair by an unidentifiable round light streaking across the valley. Combined with his house being stationed at 3,000 feet - Smithers sits at approximately 1,750 feet - and large bay windows, Stewart has an ideal birds eye view of air traffic.

Crazy and UFO are often terms that go hand in hand when trying to determine an experience that appears to be out of this world. Already this year, over 70 unidentifiable sightings have been reported in northern B.C. Only two days before the Telkwa/Houston sighting, an erratically moving, bright light was spotted in Prince George.

Sightings in Prince Rupert and Port Simpson were reported the same day of Stewart's experience. The two days that followed it reports from Terrace were filed on a glowing, cigar-shaped craft and four multiple sightings of an unidentifiable light.

"There is so much going on here it's nuts", Houston B.C. Canada UFO researcher Brian Vike remarked. Vike suspects action in space is growing with the number of hits he receives on his UFO website.

"Recently, I have been getting numerous hits," he said, "Everything from the National Defense Department to Federal Aviation". He also noted that open information transitions between himself and the National Department of Defense has since clammed up with the publishing of the recent sighting in Telkwa - where three women attested to seeing an unidentified object with bright lights.

"No one wants to say anything and I am kind of wondering why", He questioned. "Is the military running a project we are not aware of? Something has happened I just don't know what ... yet".

Many of these speculated extraterrestrial occurrences have been explained away as meteorites, flying exercises, space debris and the result of power towers. A recent space ship sighting in Smithers turned out to be the planets Jupiter and Venus. Stewart dismisses many of these suspicions in his case. He began by explaining that the object flew in a flat line unlike meteorite or space debris's falling arc pattern.

Planes might be a credible explanation, but because no sound was detected and the size of the light - the size of a pick up truck from the distance he sat at - flew so low, a plane wasn't a logical solution in Stewart's mind.

According to Central Mountain Air, there were no late night flights except for a training run July 29. Northern Thunderbird training was up between 10:07 - 11:04, however, a Central Mountain Air spokesperson saw no connection between the occurrences. She speculated that the tiny Cessna 185 would not emit a bright light of that magnitude and its engines would be heard at a close proximity.

Although a comet spotted the same evening would solve Stewart's mystery, its glowing green light, arc-shaped flight and Hudson Bay Mountain location did not pair up with what he saw - leaving Stewart questioning, "What the heck was it?"

For Stewart, the speed of the light was the most notable. "If you had blinked, you would have missed it, it was that fast," he said. He assessed the light reached faster than the speed of light at over 650 miles per hour. Stewart is well acquainted to gauging speed, he assessed, after driving dragsters that reached up to 200 miles per hour. As to whether he believes in another life force traveling through the universe, Stewart has always believed since reading space comic books as a kid, that people on earth weren't the only ones out here.

"There's too much on earth not to disbelieve," he argued, noting other phenomenon's such as the Pyramids. "I think there was someone before us." Despite Stewart's open mind towards other life forms, he talked himself through other possible explanations, but came to the same conclusion: "I knew I saw something out of the ordinary".

Although highly skeptical, the Canfor employee agreed his sighting was something more than an every day occurrence. "In my mind it looked like a meteorite," he comforted himself, but wavered as he turned the 20 second experience over in his mind. "But, it was like no meteorite I've ever seen. I've seen meteorite showers before, but they never looked anything like this. I really don't know what it was."

Houston BC Resident Vike Busy Researching Sightings In Sky

A Houston man who researches celestial phenomena says a number of unexplained objects have appeared in the night sky over Prince George and the Northern Interior in recent years.

Brian Vike hopes local residents will phone his toll-free line, 1-866-262-1989, to report any unusual sightings.

Vike owns and operates HBCC UFO Research (HBCC stands for Houston, British Columbia, Canada), which he established in 2000. He says the number of reports of unexplained night-sky phenomena has increased dramatically since 2002.

"There is no doubt something is happening in our skies", he said. "Particularly in the last two months there have been a lot of strange things."

Vike said a Prince George resident reported a red ball of light just west of the city Jan.30 around 9.30 p.m.

"The first time it rose from behind trees, and then it moved to the west and hovered above the trees," he said.

"Afterwards it jumped higher quite suddenly, took off for the west, and made a curving motion.

"She said that, being so close, they thought it may be a helicopter but it made no noise." Vike says.

Another resident called around the same time to report exactly the same phenomena, he added.

Other Prince George residents saw a ball of light over the industrial area east of the downtown core, the evening of January 29th. "It flew over and split in two," Vike said. "Each part went in a different direction".

This week a city resident near First and Tabor told The Citizen she and four friends saw two orange objects in the northern sky, January 31st around 10.p.m. After five or 10 minutes they moved lightly apart, one more slowly than the other. The first one disappeared fairly quickly into clouds afterwards, while the other moved out more slowly and faded off.

Above a month and a half ago, Prince George residents phoned about a possible meteor, Vike said. "It was a real good fireball streaking across the sky just west of Prince," he said. "It was blue and left a long bright trail behind it. It lit up quite an area as it travelled through."

Another incident occurred in the city about a month ago. A resident was standing by the Future Shop, looking west just after the sky had turned dark. For two minutes the resident saw a large flame, such as from a jet afterburn, but they didn't see any aircraft anywhere.

Last Fall, a Quesnel resident driving north towards Prince George saw an oval shaped light from highway 97 between the two communities.

"In the last while dozens of people in Prince George have seen unusual phenomena," he said.

A Bright Light In UFO Tracking: Brian Vike

Brian Vike's Favorite Cases.

Newspaper Article.

Houston resident Brian Vike is one of the best-known UFO watchers in Canada.

Andrew Hudson - Jan. 8, 2012 7:00 p.m.

A boy across the street from Brian Vike’s house was tilting a new-looking telescope at the moon last Tuesday.

Chances are, he saw what any budding stargazer would expect to see—eye-popping views of the massive lava basins and colossal impact craters that scar the lunar surface.

But if Vike’s young neighbour ever spots something strange in the Houston sky, something he can’t explain, he won’t have to go far to make a UFO report.

“Just what I need,” said Vike, laughing.

Brian Vike is one of the best-known UFO watchers in Canada. Google “red orange light” or “large circular UFO” and his Vike Factor blog pops up in the top results. The site lists 1,712 sightings reports for last year alone.

“Most people, I really do believe, are genuine,” Vike said. “Their seeing something doesn’t mean it’s extraterrestrial or anything like that. But they are seeing something, and what is it?”

In one report dated New Year’s Day, a man from Duncan, B.C. told Vike that his girlfriend had repeatedly told him about the pairs of “strange orbs” she had seen glowing red and orange in the sky.

“I thought she was off her rocker until last night when I seen this myself,” he wrote to Vike. “We watched in awe trying to figure out what they could possibly be. An airplane or a helicopter always has beacon lights—these did not!”

Vike said he is scrambling to catch up on more than 300 such reports, all of which came in between Dec. 24 and Jan. 3.

“It’s amazing stuff, but most of it’s explainable,” Vike said. A lot of the glowing “orbs” turn out to be Chinese paper lanterns—thin paper lanterns that can float up hundreds of feet in the air on the heat of a tiny candle.

In fact, Vike said that lantern “sightings” have become a bit of a nuisance since more and more people in Western countries have started lighting them for weddings and holidays. Some people get a little upset to hear that their UFO sighting might be nothing more than a hot paper bag.

“You don’t want to tell too many people that because they’ll start cursing at you,” said Vike, laughing.

Standing six feet tall and wearing a plain black baseball cap, it’s hard to imagine anyone getting upset with Vike. He has a friendly, funny manner that would make him a shoe-in for one of the Lone Gunmen—the squad of amateur conspiracy busters who used to make cameos on The X-Files TV show.

But before he flies off into science fiction, Vike has to check off a list of real-world possibilities for every new UFO report. That’s the idea, he said—to try and help people discover what they saw.

Vike often starts with websites like Heavens Above, which posts real-time tracking data for satellites, the International Space Station, space shuttle flights and visible meteor passes.

On New Year’s Eve, for example, Vike got a string of UFO sightings from across Arizona, New Mexico and southern Colorado that seemed to follow in the wake of a brightly burning meteor.

Vike also tries to follow launch times at big air bases like the Vandenberg air force base in northern California.

“They’ll send up a lot of rockets, space satellites, and military hardware,” Vike said. “A lot of people are interested in that alone.”

Many people who stumble on Vike’s website report things they saw years ago. From 1993, Vike noticed a wave of sightings are most likely from people who saw F-117 Nighthawk stealth fighters flying low over North America to fight in the first Gulf War.

“I had a whole whack of reports of triangles coming in along their flight path,” he said.

Military jets, northern lights, space junk and comets—those are all sightings that even alien hopefuls aren’t likely to be disappointed in.

But Vike said it’s easy to be caught off guard by much more Earthly things.

Vike said he once a V-shaped something fly over Houston. He got pretty excited before he heard wings and realized it was a flock of geese.

“At night time, you get town or city lights and they’re low enough that the lights hit their bellies and you get that big V-shape,” he said, laughing.

Still, other reports don’t lend themselves to easy explanation.

This January, a crew from the Canadian Discovery Channel will speak with Vike on camera about a “missing time” case.

Two Kelowna women told Vike that on July 31, 2003, they were walking a dog along a lake and saw three strange lights in the sky. The lights came together in a triangle shape, they said, before dropping and hovering over the highway.

“They claim that they had missing time, and the next morning bruising, bleeding noses,” he said. “And they’ve been very sick since.”

What is really interesting about the Kelowna case, Vike said, is that it is one of many strange reports that followed the terrible number of forest fires in the Okanogan that year.

Despite slowing down a bit, and shutting down a larger website that was getting some 2.5 million hits a month, Vike is still in high demand for his UFO expertise. For years, he has fielded calls from the likes of CBC and BBC radio, the Discovery Channel and others.

“I just spent more time on this than anything else,” he said. “I think that’s why it kept moving along.”

Fifty years ago, Vike said he was just like the boy across the street, armed with a 50 mm Sears telescope from his parents and a boundless curiosity.

“Yep—I always look in the sky,” he said. “You never know what you’re going to see.”

UFO Stationary Before Moving Off Quickly Over Houston British Columbia

Brian Vike's Favorite Cases.

Date:  February 5, 2011

Time:  Approxamtlty 7:00 a.m.

Hi, my name is (name removed) and I live in the town houses in Houston B.C. On the morning of February 5, 2011 around 7:00 am, my husband told me to come over to the window to look in the sky at what looked like a jet with no jet stream. I looked at this object for about 25-30-seconds and realized it was not a jet.

We were amazed at what we were seeing. So for a couple of minutes it looked like it was staying in one place, then it started to move and fast. It started moving then disappeared behind the mountain. I got on the phone and called the Smithers Airport to see what was flying in the air that morning. The attendant told me there was not anything flying at that time.

It was incredible it looked like a bright fire ball, it was amazing. So I just wanted to let you know because I do believe there's others out there if you have any more questions you can contact me by phone at (number removed) Thanks.

Thank you to the witness for the report.

UFO Splits Into Two And Shoots Straight Up And Disappears Houston British Columbia

Brian Vike's Favorite Cases.

Date:  February 27, 2003
Time:  Approximately 4:05 a.m.

I was over at Country Wide Stationary today (March 4, 2003) and a fellow had read the logo on my winter coat.(UFO Research Logo). He asked what it was all about, in which I explained what it was I was up to.

This man, a logging truck operator left the town of Houston driving up the Morice River Road heading approximately 100 kilometers out across the Reach to pick up a load of logs.

He went on to say when he reached the 30 kilometers mark on the Morice River Road, he witnessed "one" bright white light high in the sky heading in his direction. As the light got closer to him, he watched the light split up into two parts, with both pieces flying in different directions. He said one part went west and the other east.

What was so amazing was that the two lights shot back up into the sky and disappeared. The sighting lasted approximately 6 to 7 seconds at the most.

He was so surprised and excited at what he just saw, he got on the trucks radio and asked other drivers on the road if anyone had witnessed what he just did. Two other drivers who were in the same area reported back to him that they also witnessed the same thing.

Brian Vike’s Note: I have the name of one of the other drivers and will be speaking to him tomorrow to take his report. I was told that a number of logging truck drivers on their early morning hauls have seen a number of strange things in the sky, so I am also looking into these as well. Also I had a telephone call from a fellow from Prince Rupert today.

He asked if I would be around today as he wanted to drop in on his way to Alberta. I met with him at my home and we had a really nice visit.  He also told me about an amazing sight he witnessed in the Prince Rupert area. I am certainly going to be taking the trip up to visit with him later on when he comes home from Alberta.

Thank you to the witness for the report.

Mill Employee Observes Large UFO Land Or Hover On Mountain Side Houston British Columbia

 Brian Vike's Favorite Cases.

Date: February 3, 2003
Time: Approximately 8:10 a.m.

"Possible Landing of an object" !!

Brian Vike’s Note: The couple of days ago I reported that three blue/white lights in a triangular shape were witnessed by a Canfor sawmill employee flying very low over top of him. The object moved very quickly and disappeared over one of Houston, B.C. local mountains. This sighting took place on February 3, 2003 at approximately 8:10.p.m.

Today, February 9, 2003 I went to visit a close friend. While sitting around talking he told me that his brother has witnessed something very strange on February 3, 2003, in the morning between 8:00 a.m. and 8:10 a.m. Of course my ears perked up when I heard the date of the sighting, and I asked my friend if he would call his brother and ask if it would be ok to come over to take his report on what he saw. He agreed and I soon left my buddies home and headed over to look into this new report.

First of all, I would like to point out that the fellow who gave me his account of events, does not really believe in UFOs, or visitors from else where. I also know this fellow very well, and both himself and his wife are well respected in the community of Houston.

The witness to the early morning sighting works for Houston Forest Products which is one of two large and very modern sawmills. At the time of his sighting he was operating a heavy machine in the log yard when a "extremely" bright yellow/orange light caught his attention. The source of the light was coming from the northern side of Pea Cock Mountain, which is at the south end of the forest companies property.

There was a low lying fog in the valley that morning but from his position he could see the fog had only gone part ways of the mountains, so it was laying very low. After he saw the intense light, he saw what he first thought was a helicopter, but wondered why it had such a bright light on it, then after a couple of seconds went by he thought it couldn't be a helicopter due to the size of it.

The description he gave me of this object was as follows, the object at a distance of approximately 2 kilometers ( or less) away up on the side of Pea Cock Mountain on a logged off area, sat either hovering, or "sat on the ground" for approximately 40 seconds. The witness said the color of the object was a light gray/white. And the color was changing, as if it was translucent (almost as if it was flickering in and out).

The craft was oval is shape with this bright yellow/orange light dead center at the bottom of the object. As the witness sat watching it, it rose up only a little, and flew to the south heading to the top of Pea Cock Mountain. But before it even came close to the top of the mountain, and with no obstructions in between the witness and the craft it completely disappeared. Or as they say, blinked out.

Now I find this interesting because of two reports on the very same day, one in the morning and evening in pretty much the same area.

Brian Vike’s Note: Monday morning I will be stopping into the local helicopter business, in which there is two of. I want to see if they were flying that morning, or around the time of the sighting. I also will stop in and see if the forestry knows of any logging operations going on at the sighting location. Plus I may have to dig out the snowshoes and take a short hike to look around the area for any possible signs that something may have been there.

It has not snowed in a while here, so if anything had got close to the ground, or even landed, there should be signs of this taking place.  I will keep everyone posted on this case. Also I am just going to post a computer graphic on my site to give you an example of what this thing looked like. My wife recreated it from the drawing the witnesses supplied. (Keep in mind, the computer image is close, but not exact in color.

Thank you to the witness for the report.

UFO The Size Of A Greyhound Bus Paced Our Truck Houston British Columbia

Brian Vike's Favorite Cases.

Date:  March 3, 2003
Time:  7:55 a.m.

Local call to report.

Daylight sighting.

Tonight on Friday, March 7, 2003 at approximately 8:30 p.m. I received a telephone call from two local Houston, B.C. residents who wanted to report something very strange they had saw on March 3, 2003 at approximately 7:55 a.m. The two witnesses were at the same location here in town when they made the call to me here at home.

The reason why the witnesses decided to tell their story was due to the newspaper articles which ran on the UFO Survey, and myself in out local newspaper this past Wednesday. They also told me they both spent sometime trying to make up their minds if they should actually call me over what they saw.

The first thing one of the fellows said to me was, "my buddy and I saw something very weird the other day, and are still questioning ourselves over what we saw". He went on to say there was himself and his friend in his truck travelling along highway #16 just east from Houston, B.C. Since it is getting lighter earlier these days, the fellows witnesses this object in the daylight.

Just before they got to Perow, there is a large farmers field which runs for a long way, and also runs along side the highway with a buffer of trees between the field and the highway. His friend was the passenger in the truck and first noticed a large object paralleling them along the highway.

The driver looked at the speed they were travelling and said he was doing approximately 50 kilometers an hour. The distance between the witnesses and the object would have been approximately 300 to 400 feet. So they both had a very close up look at it. (keep in mind there were the trees in between the truck and object which did hinder the view at times).

Also the field drops down somewhat below the highway, so the forestry workers did not get a good look at the bottom of this craft.

They both described the object as looking like an "Air Stream Trailer", and the size was close to the a Greyhound Bus. It was metallic in color, and no other features could be seen on it. No lights, windows, nothing !! The object stayed straight across from their truck as they drove along, as I mentioned above.

It paced their vehicle. The passenger had rolled down the window to see if he was able to hear any sound coming from this object, but none was heard, it was silent. After approximately 3/4 quarters of a kilometer the craft turned slowly away from the highway, wobbled slightly, sped up, wobbled once again and then shot off out of sight very quickly.

Brian Vike’s Note: Since the object was so low, and on the other side of the standing trees, I asked if they had observed any moment in the trees. Such as any disturbance which would have moved the trees in anyway. None was noticed.

Something else I should add. When the witnesses mentioned that is wobbled, one of the fellows said it was like looking through a heat wave, which gave it a look as if it was slightly wobbling. Also both of the man made comments to one another, saying it was so strange and not a normal aircraft as it had no wings on it's body.

He also mentioned due to the type of work he is involved with he had made many trips on different aircraft, and what he and his friend saw was "no" aircraft they know of.

I am also going out tomorrow to grab some pictures of the area where the sighting took place. I hope to have some drawings and more information after I sit down and chat with the two witnesses over the weekend. There is more to this story to come.

Thank you to the witnesses for the report.

Large Craft/UFO Spotted While Traveling Up Hungry Hill Between Smithers to Houston British Columbia

Brian Vike's Favorite Cases.

Late 2001 or 2002 ? The wife says this year.
Hungry Hill - 10:00 minutes from Houston heading west.

My wife and I were traveling from Smithers, British Columbia to Houston, British Columbia, I think around 2001 or 2002 (she will remember).

Anyways on the way up Hungry Hill we saw a what appeared to be a very large craft, but with very, very dim lights glowing from underneath.

We watched it for a long time as we climbed Hungry Hill, we both agreed it could not be a plane, I remarked to my wife jokingly that the lights on the craft were so dim and he should hit his high beams.

Well just then the lights (can't remember how many) got super super bright and the craft sped off. There were a lot of cars of the highway that night.

The witnesses said they seen me in the post office and noticed my jacket. (UFO logo on it) and they did a search on Google with UFO Houston and came up with your website. Wife says it was this year that we saw the craft.

She said it had a flashing light as well as the bright white lights. She thinks red. I say it was last year we saw it, not sure though.

I would like to thank these witness for sending me their sighting report.

Round Metallic Silver UFO Lands On The Ground Houston British Columbia

Brian Vike's Favorite Cases.

Date: March 1 - 7th, 2002

Time: 2:00 p.m.

 Weather Conditions: Partly Cloudy.

Sighting lasted: Approximately 2 minutes.

Brian Vike’s Note: Years after this report came in and with the media printing UFO sightings from around the area and my regular appearance on a local radio station other people eventually came forward reporting on this same sighting. I believe there were 3 other independent witnesses to this event. This made a total of 4 separate people who observed the UFO.

Dear sir. I'll try to answer your questions  as best as I can. I remember  seeing it in the early part of March as I said before. I cannot remember the date exactly,  but it was about 2:00 p.m. when we saw it. It was a cloudy day with some sunny breaks. I will try to give you the location as best I can.

I'm not totally familiar with the area yet as I live in the town houses across from the duck pond trail. There is a little park there for kids. I was looking out my patio window towards Houston Forest products, but a little off to the side towards the mountains, there is a small mountain or hill I guess you can call it.

It kind of looks like a lump and it was almost behind the hill when it  rose up into the sky from what I can see. It left the ground and flew straight up then returned to the ground, straight back down. It zig zagged quite sharply and flew  straight back up into the clouds and disappeared. The sighting lasted about 2 minutes in all and from where I was I could not hear nothing.

As for the size, it was about the same size as a school bus is long , but totally round, and a metallic silver  in color. I only seen it one time. I hope this will answer your question  if there is anything  else I can help you with just email me. I will try to get around to taking a photo of the location where I saw it using my digital camera if you would like to give you a better idea of the location

I would like to thank the witness for the report.

Object/UFO Changes To Red And Grows In Size Four Seasons Park Houston British Columbia

Brian Vike's Favorite Cases.

Date:  December 1994.

Time:  10:00 p.m.

Location of Sighting: Four Seasons Park, Houston, B.C.

Number of witnesses: 5

Number of objects: 1

Shape of objects: circular

Full Description of event/sighting: When I was 14, some friends and I were snowmobiling around Four Seasons Park in Houston B.C. There were five of us and two snowmobiles.

We had experienced some strange events in that area before, but this one was the freakiest and the one I remember the most. There were three of us on one snowmobile, and two on the other.

The larger of the snowmobiles dies on us in the middle of the ball field. The other snowmobile was small and could not carry everyone, so one of us who was on the broken sled got on the other and got a ride back to the house we were staying at on Jewel Road.

The two remaining of us (myself and friend) decided that we would leave the sled and start walking. We walked for what we felt was only a couple of steps in the deep snow and then when we looked back the sled was far away, like 100meters.

We were both really confused at the moment and then we saw our friend coming for us on the snowmobile after she had dropped off the other two. We immediately began running towards the snowmobile. When we got to it we hoped on and started heading back to the house.

We were being followed by what we thought was another sled and we were already freaked out by the walking distance thing so we were yelling at our driver to go faster. The "sled" behind us kept right up and changed in color and size very quickly.

It started out as a regular white light which resembled the headlight of a snowmobile, but as we went faster, it grew larger and also changed to a deep red colour.

As soon as we got out of the trees and closer to the houses it just disappeared. We were all quite shaken up and all three of us saw the same thing and could not explain it.

Thank you to the witnesses for the report.

Ladies Truck And Surrounding Area Lights Up From Stalking UFO Highway #16 Outside Houston British Columbia

Brian Vike's Favorite Cases.

The original report below, sighting in Houston, British Columbia came from Mr. Peter Davenport at the NUFORC (http://www.ufocenter.com/) as he thought I would be interested in looking into the case due to it being in the area where I live.

Brian Vike called the lady who filed the report to Peter and I had a long conversation with her. I did not realize just how much more there was to the case. Also the lady who I named Connie in this report will writing up a full version of all events that have taken place over the years.

Thank you to the kind lady for taking the time to have a wonderful conversation with me.

I did speak to her later on and some other cases of abduction were brought up within her family. I have not and won’t for personal reasons be posting that conversation.

Minutes Outside Houston, British Columbia (Brian Vike’s Home Town)

Date: August 8, 1998. Time: 2:00 a.m.

It was 2:00 a.m. and I was headed East on the Yellowhead Highway, Hwy 16. I was just a few miles outside of Houston. I had just left the little town of Smithers and I was looking for a Fair Grounds that I had thought they had there to stay overnight with 5 horses that I had brought out of Alaska.

I had traveled this highway lots of times and usually stayed in Vanderhoof or Quesnel, but the road had been bad coming down the Cassiar Hwy and had slowed me down.

My traveling companions besides the 5 equines consisted of my SharPei dog (CharChar) and 1 cat (Sally). It was my traveling companions that alerted me to something unusual in the beginning.

Char started howling in a strange way and was looking out the rear window. I could see a strange white glow on her when I turned around.

At first this registered as light coming off my front running lights on the horse trailer, the problem being they are orange, not white. Still did not register with me that there was anything unusual yet.

Then Sally, the cat, started making strange noises I never had heard before and she actually jumped up on the seat in front with me then jumped back to the back and went under the seat. Her hackles were up at the time.

Meanwhile, Char is running from the back rear window to me and whining and her hackles are up. I was at this point starting to get spooked.

I had slowed down considerably looking for the Fair Grounds and had been leaning forward on the steering wheel (there was some ground fog in the valleys there too).

It was at this time that I realized the truck was glowing with a white light and the ground around me also was. It was like I was in a big spotlight with one of those new blue-white headlights they have out now.

I leaned forward and looked up and realized that there was something over me. It was as larger than a large full moon in size in the sky and was a glowing green color with this large white light in the middle. Like a stupid idiot I really slowed down and rolled my window down and listened.

I heard no engines. At this point I am trying to justify this with a meteor, crashing plane, helicopter, anything but imagining that I could be the perfect "UFO medical experiment on wheels, 5 equine,1 feline,1 canine and 1 hominid."

This my daughter later reminded me of and we had a good laugh, however I failed to see the humor in it at the time it was happening. I don't think I directly thought of this however I know it had to be in my mind.

The object suddenly removed the light from me and then sped forward. I was at this point going up a hill and it appeared to be going to the top of the hill to land.

It was at this point I actually saw 3 points of light that were red or orange on the edge. I thought they might have been engine exhaust or after burners. It was a little unclear with the fog I was going in and out of.

This was not a heavy fog, more like a mist. It hesitated at the crest of the hill then suddenly made a sharp turn and headed due North from me. It was at this point that I realized that I had come to a complete stop in the Highway.

Myself and Char were just staring at this thing. I can't tell you what was running through her mind but I can tell you I was now scared.

It went through this mist and went right up and over a small mountain there. I could see the glow of light from beyond the mountain like it had landed. I got going again quite quickly and stopped in the next town to call my husband.

He is in the USAF and while I am relating all this to him it was at this time I realized that the entire Convenience Store was now quiet.

Everyone in there was listening to me! One of the customers in there told me that there had been sightings in the area all Summer! Well I ask if there was a RCMP close at hand because I still thought that maybe I should report it.

The clerk in the store he did not think the office for just reporting would be open at this time so I just determined I would call later. There were 2 logging truck drivers there that said that I could park between them if I was still scared since they would be there until 6:00 when the mill opened. This is exactly what I did.

The next morning I started off again headed for Arlington, Washington. Somewhere before Prince George I spied a RCMP on the side of the road running radar and it was a woman. I thought this would be the chance to talk to someone so I parked on the side of the road and approached her vehicle.

I had made sure that I had picked up one of my Business Cards first.(I run a horse transport business so I do a lot of traveling at night.

It is easier on the horses especially in the Summer. I also had lived 17 years in Alaska so I knew this Hwy and this was a first for me on it.)

When I came up the first thing out of mouth was that here was my business card, that I did not do drugs nor rarely drank and certainly had been doing neither the previous night.

She listened to my tale then handed the card back to me and kind of chuckled.

Without saying anything to me she got on the radio back to Houston, BC, Canada and told them I would be calling in a report.

I interrupted her to ask if it would be a problem if I called once I got to a land line in Washington and she said yes. Well this went better than I had expected.

I really thought that she might have been calling out the "paddy wagon" with the straight jackets for me. It was at this time after speaking on the radio she got out of the car and looked at me straight on. She then proceeded to tell me she believed me and did not think that

I was a "nut" since if I was a nut seeing things at night then they had 2 RCMP's that were the same and were seeing things in broad daylight. She said that a craft had been sited in the same area just a few days before.

I proceeded on feeling much better actually. When I got to Arlington, Washington at a motel I called the desk at the RCMP's at Houston and gave them a full report.

Visitations By Little People.

The story is real but the names in this report below are fictitious for obvious reasons. Connie - Driver of the vehicle who had the amazing encounter in Houston, British Columbia.

I telephoned the witness as I had a number of question I wanted to ask her. She lives with her husband on their ranch in North Carolina. The lady was such a pleasant person to talk with, also owns her own business and has degrees in anthropology and archaeology from the University of Houston, Texas.

As far as I am concerned she is a very credible witness who gave a number of details in her report that only residents in my area would know about.

As we chatted about what took place that early morning, she went on to tell me about some other frightening experiences which has followed her throughout her life. The sad part to the story is that not only is she being effected, but members of her family and now her young grandchild as well.

When I hear about children being involved with such events it saddens me. It is bad enough for adults to deal with the strange happenings, but to know that children are having visitations, etc.. it really does break my heart.

The lady went on to say that her daughter was joking with her about her being a rolling medical experiment on wheels, as she was carrying her pets, horses and of course herself. When her daughter said this, Connie didn't find it very amusing due to what has, and still is, going on in her family.

Connie told me she has had some other troubling times in her family. Her son had an experience and Connie as well.

Connie said she called them her little people. She told me she had many dreams, not so much vivid ones, but dreams. But she was very upset when her son, then three years old and when all of them were living in Alaska.

It got so bad that she took her son to a psychologist thinking a three year old couldn't make up such a story if something wasn't taking place. Connie not knowing at the time when she made the appointment for her son that the psychologist was a child specialist.

The psychologist said to Connie that her son kept talking about this "thing" over and over while they were in the psychologist office.

The lady psychologist told Connie you would not believe how many children come through her office telling a similar story, of these unusual experiences. Connie mentioned to the psychologist that even when she was a child, and now an adult she still has her dreams about her visitors or little people.

Connie told me that her husband doesn't even want to hear about any of the experiences anymore, mainly due to not being able to do anything about them ( a feeling of helplessness).

But it wasn't until the summer of 1987 when Connie and all of her children went to Barnes and Noble book store in Austin Texas to pick up a book she was interested in reading. While looking around the book store, her young son asked his mother if he could go and look at some of the children's books.

Connie said yes, but told him that he was not to wander off and stay where she was able to keep him in her sight. As the youngster made his way to the children's book section he went around a corner, or a different book section which displayed other book topics.

All of a sudden all of the shoppers in the book store could hear a young child yell out, "here's my monster Mom"!

Connie's son came running back to her with a book in his hand, again yelling out, "here's my monster Mom". What the little boy was holding in his hands was a copy of Mr. Whitley Srieber's book, Communion.

On the front cover of the book was this young boys monster, a being with large dark almond shape eyes. Connie told me after her son gave out the loud yell you could have heard a pin drop in the book store as everyone was looking in their direction.

Connie took the book from her son, went through the check out and paid for the copy. She wanted to have an idea of what was frightening her child. It wasn't until she got home and later that evening when laying in bed reading a book she had already started did she realize the book in her hands was another one by Whitley Srieber. She had not put two and two together and was rather surprised.

Connie went on to say that now her six year old granddaughter is going through the same things as her son had. Judy tells her Mother and Grandmother that there are little old men who visit me in the night. More information will be coming on how the little girl is doing.

Connie told me when she was a little girl she was terrified of the dark and insisted on having the lights on when she was sleeping, and she told me it is still like this today. Also she doesn't sleep very well.

Connie also discussed some other bizarre things that happened to her over the years of these visitations. One time while still living in Alaska she had a frightful nightmare, woke up the next morning with a burn mark on her tailbone.

This burned circle on her back stayed with her for approximately two weeks and she did seek medical help over it. Connie also told me that she has had bad nose bleeds since she was a child, and the same with her son. On one of Connie's trips this last year something extraordinary took place.

She was having excruciating headaches and had nightmares before she had left home, matter of fact she woke up the night before she left on her trip and saw beings standing in the doorway. Her nose bleeds became very severe and her husband said we are going to have to take you in to see a doctor when you come back off the road trip.

Connie at this time was transporting horses and was calling her husband on the telephone. On one call she made to her husband at a stop over at a motel, Connie said that her nose was very stuffed up, bad pain above her eye and was taking aspirin for the pain.

She said she was continually blowing her nose and getting more blood from her nostril the more she blew until her left nostril was completely stuffed up and no air could pass through it.

Finally still trying to clear her sinuses she blew into a tissue a couple more times when something broke free. To her surprise in her tissue was a piece of material approximately one half inch long, one quarter inch wide and had the strangest little nodules on the material.

Connie said the debris felt like bone and was pinkish in color. Seeing she was frightened, on her own and upset, Connie flushed the material down the toilet at the motel. Ever since that day she discarded this bit of material, she has had no more problems.

A sad part to this story is that Connie had to help with her grandmother. At the time the doctors thought Connie's grandmother was mentally ill and wanted to have her committed. This was due to her seeing things at her home during the nights.

She also walked around with a flashlight all night long Connie told me. As we know with the abduction experience it seems to run through the families, sometimes starting with the grandparents to their children, to their children and on and on it can go.

So was Connie's grandmother having visitations ? Even after Connie's grandmother had passed away and the house was bought by another family member, strange happenings still go on to this day in that home.

Thank you to the witness for their report.

Report 8 - Remarkable UFO Wave Continues Over British Columbia Canada (UFO Investigator Brian Vike)

By Brian Vike (The Vike Factor - Houston, British Columbia Centre For UFO Research)

Houston, British Columbia.

Date: August 2, 2003
Time: Approximately 1:15 a.m.

I went to the Houston mall today to pick up some more tapes, when I was there one of the stores employees told me about a sighting he and his friend had when they were out camping at Irrigation Lake which is just a few minutes west of Houston, British Columbia.

Both were sitting at the lakes shore when a bright white flash of light caught their eye and traveled from the north to the south and at a high rate of speed.

Before they lost sight of it, the light started zig zagging briefly across the sky and completely disappeared.

The entire event lasted approximately 3 seconds but it did give the fellows something interesting to tell their friends.

Investigator Brian Vike’s Note: It seems there has been a lot of this type of sightings recently that I have received. Lights zig zagging across the sky. It makes me wonder what the heck these lights are.

Kelowna, British Columbia.

Date: August 3, 2003 T
Time: 8:30 p.m.

I had a telephone call from a wonderful lady who lives in Kelowna, British Columbia. She called as she read article in the Kelowna Capital Newspaper about a fellow who was requesting witnesses to a sighting come forward. She told me she saw something that was pretty peculiar around 8:30 p.m.

She told me it was remarkable to her, so much so that she wanted her neighbors around to discuss what she saw, but no one was in the area at the time.

She also believes that she may have been the only one who witnessed this object, but of course at this time she hasn't heard from anyone else yet who may have seen it.

The witness went on to say it was a perfectly round and metallic silver in colour. The object was moving across the daylight sky.

The lady also said it was round apposed to being cylindrical or egg shaped, and stressed it was as round as a ball.

The object was moving in a easterly direction and she got the impression it was very, very distant.

It moved at a steady pace, it didn't stop, it didn't hover, it just kept moving along through the sky until she lost sight of it.

She said there was no sound coming from it. No trail or tail was witnessed. The lady gave a guess at what the size of the object may have been.

She took a guess and estimated it may have been the size of a nickel, or at least close after holding out her hand at arms length.

It was estimated that the object was observed for approximately 2 minutes before she lost sight of it when it went behind the hills.

Sakinaw Lake, Sunshine Coast in British Columbia.

Date: August 7th, 2003
Time: 10:15 p.m.

Dear Brian Vike, I too saw something strange in the sky, however this was the night of August 7, 2003. Here's my story: My husband and I have a summer home at Sakinaw Lake which is on the Sunshine Coast in British Columbia.

One of my favorite things to do at night is to star gaze from the middle of the lake. The sky is so clear there compared to the city. Anyways, on August 7, 2003 I took my star gazing gear (blanket, pillow and flashlight) with me on my peddle boat and like usual snuggled down once I got to the middle of the lake.

I usually stay out for a couple of hours and watch the shooting stars before peddling back to our home. On this night approximately 10:15 p.m. or so, I spotted what I thought was another shooting star.

It streaked across the sky heading southward then stopped. I thought the shooting star might burn out, but it didn't. Instead, the light split into 4 lights which formed a square (1 light in each corner).

One of the lights was brighter than the other 3, which made me think it might be bigger than the others. It stayed in the square formation for 2 to 5 seconds before it changed forms again. Two lights stayed in place while the other 2 lights moved slightly away, then stopped.

The 4 lights together looked like a rectangle and stayed this way for 1 to 2 seconds. Then all of a sudden the 2 lights that moved to form the rectangle shot off northward, like parallel shooting stars, while the other 2 lights only separated slightly and remained stationary.

One of the 2 lights that remained was the bright one. I was shocked and couldn't believe what I saw. I stayed there until 1:30 a.m. to see if the other 2 would come back.

Then I tried to memorize the location of the 2 remaining lights before heading in, but they looked like stars amongst so many other stars. It was useless, so I peddled back home.

I told my husband and he suggested I look up UFO sightings on the internet. There are so many skeptics and believe me I would have been one too, that I said I don't think I'll bother.

My husband printed a copy of your article for me to read and that's how I read about the other sighting on July 28, 2003 and also why I'm emailing you.

If you know or hear of any one else that saw what I did that night, please let me know. I would appreciate any information you can provide.

Thank you!

Vernon, British Columbia.

Date: August 12, 2003
Time: Daytime.

Investigator Brian Vike’s Note: This report may not seem important, but it actually is due to the case I am working on, which 75 witnessed have come forward to tell their story.

This report I have for you is of a orange glow in a mushroom cloud. It was about the second day of the Anarchist Mountain fire in Penticton.

I was watching the clouds west over Okanagon Lake. Under the huge clouds were a string of smaller clouds lined up like beads. The heat haze and smoke from the south were over the lake and the whole picture was slowly moving north.

The last cloud stopped, and slowly moved deliberately and casually down behind Terrace mountain, in the opposite direction of the sky flow.

There was an orange glow in the center of the cloud. The distance is about 20 k and the cloud was about the size of the tip of my little finger.

Houston, British Columbia.

Date: August 13, 2003
Time: Approximately: 12:05 a.m.

Brian Vike talked with a gentleman who resides in Houston, British Columbia. The witness told me he packed his camera and tripod up and headed over to one of the fields on their farm.

He was going to capture some shots of the planet Mars and the Moon as it is so beautiful right now. As he was setting up his equipment, he noticed something very odd.

In a totally clear sky he watched a cloud starting to form very quickly. As he mentioned it came out of no where and seemed to be shaping up in a oblong shape.

Due to the Moon being bright, he had no problem in watching this phenomena. The fellow also said there was some type of disturbance which was taking place in the cloud itself.

He tried to explain what he saw, and the best example he could come up was, from end to end of this narrow formed cloud, it appeared to look like someone had taken a shot with a powerful gun, and the force of the shell was cutting through the cloud, causing a disturbance within, or center of the cloud which ran from end to end.

There was no lights/object seen at all, just this strange long mass of cloud which appeared right out of nowhere. It sat stationary for approximately 4 to 5 minutes and dissipated.

Between Nelson And Salmo, British Columbia.

Date: August 14, 2003
Time: Approximately: 11:20 p.m.

A husband and wife were traveling back home from Salmo to Nelson, British Columbia. They were driving on Highway #6 and along side the Salmo River when to their right, flying at the top of the mountain was a round red ball of brilliant light.

The witnesses said it moved very quickly, to fast to be an airplane and hugged the contour of the mountain. Due to there being some distance between them and the red light, no sound was heard.

The total time they watched the light was approximately 6 to 7 seconds at tops. I was also told that others traveling on the highway had also witnessed the same red light as some folks were discussing what they saw back in their home town.

Vancouver, British Columbia.

Date: August 17, 2003
Time: 11:45 p.m. (?)

Last night was spectacular. Looking out from Coal Harbour over Lions Gate Bridge, my wife (who is a skeptic) and I were treated to a fantastic dance by numerous "objects".

It was not that the binoculars were unsteady, one object would race in all directions in front of another object which remained steady, so there could be no question about what it was doing.

The motions, in all directions, including criss-crossing, were incredibly fast, about as fast as the eye could follow.

We are using 10x50 WA binoculars and it would not be readily seen with the naked eye.

Hope you find this information worthwhile reading.

Penticton, British Columbia.

Date: August 18, 2003
Time: 11:15 a.m.

A gentleman called me on August 18, 2003 to report that him and a work mate were out on their lunch break which is from 11:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

They were sitting outside against the building talking and looking towards the south taking in the view of the mountains. Now looking towards the southwest the one witness observed a long, silver point of light.

He said it would have been approximately the size of a key at arms length. The witness thought it may have been a reflection of an airplane as that was his first thoughts, but he just took his eyes off it for a split second, and when he looked back up at it, it was gone. (He said nothing at this point to his friend)

The two men kept eating their lunch and a few seconds later the witnesses friend said, quick look over there, the friend now caught something with his eyes.

When the witness turned to look at what his friend was pointing at, the object had vanished. His friend said it disappeared so quickly, and he said it just faded out into the blue sky. When the friend saw the object he said it was the size of a nickel at arms length.

Both men reported seeing it coming from the west and in a few seconds it was in the east, the size of a nickel. They reported the color as being a metallic silver, and at the end of the sighting the friend said it looked just like a sphere in shape. That was the last time the fellows seen the object in the sky.

--------------------

Kamloops, British Columbia.

Date: August 22, 2003
Time: 10:00 p.m.

A lady called and reported something she could not explain flying over southern Kamloops. She said it looked like a squared off kind of craft with four lights, nothing like an airplane or helicopter.

She telephoned the Kamloops airport to see if they had any other sightings of this kind come into them, but after leaving a message at the airport on an answering machine, they never did get back to her.

Also she called the RCMP and they told her they had no other reports come in on this and mentioned to her that she must have been blurred by the smoke in the area and thought she saw something.

The witness swears what she saw was something not of this world in nature.

Kimberley, British Columbia.

Date: August 22, 2003
Time: 11:10 p.m.

A lady residing in Kimberley, British Columbia called a family member to go out and look towards the southwest as the witness was watching a strange sight.

When the other family member ran outside, both the ladies in different locations in Kimberley, and watched two small, but bright white lights high up in the sky dance around.

The woman reported that the lights appeared to be chasing one another and at other times the lights would stay stationary.

The witness reported that this took place for approximately 2 minutes and the lights did cover a good portion of the sky when they appeared to be chasing one another. After the two minutes has passed both lights disappeared.

Thornhill, Terrace British Columbia.

Date: August 24, 2003
Time: 10:02 p.m.

Hi Brian, On August 24, 2003 I was by myself and witnessed a bright, white colored object traveling from the northwest to the southeast.

It got bright over Thornhill, but dimmed somewhat towards your direction. I believe it was no plane, meteorite or satellite as it did look really strange.

The sky was +- 30 % overcast. No sound was heard coming from the light/object. There were no stops, no hovering, nothing strange regarding behavior and I would say it was +- 10-30 m in diameter.

Kimberley, British Columbia.

Date: August 26, 2003
Time: 11:05 p.m.

I received a telephone call from a Kimberley resident at 11:30 p.m. and she said she was visiting family which is at the northern end of Kimberley, British Columbia by the Cominco Mine area and she said there were a couple of them standing outside and a family member happened to notice a jet airliner going over head from east to west.

The witness told me what her family member did see was certainly a jet. All of a sudden the witness saw what she thought was a shooting star just to the north of the jet, but a lot higher up.

She says it started out like a shooting star, but then there was a flash of white light and then it happened again approximately 20 seconds later and another flash.

They both stood wondering if this may have been another jet as this one was going in a northwesterly direction. But as the witness watched she mentioned that the intervals weren't the same as a jet airliner. (meaning the flashing of the jets lights).

It then disappeared and then in another 20 to 30 seconds there was another flash of light.

The witness says this is where it gets a bit odd and figured it wasn't another jet that she was aware of.

Thinking maybe it was something the military was flying overhead. She saw a flash in front of the object and it reminded her of a laser light.

She also said you could see the light zapping a good distance in front of the object. It again disappeared and in another 50 seconds or so later there was another flash of light.

Hi Brian, I just came inside with (name deleted by Brian Vike) and after sitting down for 90 minutes on the pile of wood I cut today, 9:08 p.m. I witnessed a flash of light coming from on easterly direction.

A few minutes later I watched a white colored light move across the sky and roughly 3-4 km's away and it did peak over the trees and disappeared.

"Last night was spectacular.

Total time viewing objects was about 2 minutes."

"We are using 10x50 WA binoculars - it would not be readily seen with the naked eye."

A man and a woman saw a disc-shaped object sitting stationary just below the clouds.

It was dark grey in colour and had 5 or 6 white lights on it. After about 1 minute, the object disappeared.

They estimated that the object was about as wide as 1 1/2 thumb widths (held at arm's length.

An elderly couple living on Bold Road, just off Buck Flats Road reported that they watched a very strange object hovering over top of Pea Cock mountain.

They believe that it was round in shape and had lights running around outside the object. They observed it moving along the top of the mountain for about a kilometer before it stopped, then quickly dropped behind the mountain. No sound was heard.

The next night, at about 11:45 p.m., the same object showed up over the mountain, but more towards the south.

This time the object did not move in any direction and was observed for about 6 to 8 seconds before it dropped out of sight.

Again no sound was heard, and the object, or light coming from it, was extremely bright.

Investigator Brian Vike’s Note: This was certainly not a star, or Mars. The second date of the sighting the object was a good height off the top ridge of the mountain, and if a star it would have taken sometime to drop down and out of sight.

Also I asked the local helicopter businesses to see if they had any flying in the area at the time of this sighting. There was none flying at that time. Everything was shut down before dark.

Just before entering her home, a lady saw a huge cylinder-shaped craft flying very quickly and low to the ground.

It had a large number of bright white lights running down the full length of the object, possibly windows she thought.

There were no wings noticed on the craft. No sound was heard and the sighting lasted for about 5 seconds.

Upon entering her home she discovered, from her boyfriend, that their cat had been going "nuts" during the time that the object was passing by.

Investigator Brian Vike’s Note: This little story below turned into some story which I will try to find.

Date:  September 10, 2003
Time:  8:50 p.m.

A couple were outside tending to their farm animals when they heard a sound coming from the north.

They looked up to see a bright white light travelling directly towards them. It passed soundlessly over top over their farm, heading south.

The sound that they had heard was still coming from the north, and getting louder. Shortly, two very large military type helicopters appeared, flying low and following the same direction as the light had taken.

“I was sitting outside facing west when a huge saucer, 4 times moon size, materialized out of nowhere right in front of me.

I was not looking in any way, just listening to music and relaxing after a 10 hour day of splitting firewood.

The object of intensive white color did have a saucer shape and the outline was in light red. The object must have been only 35-40 meters away, or even closer, and it was not sitting still, but moving up and down.

I got very scared and my heart started pumping like crazy. I am still shaking. The whole scenario lasted for only 15 seconds before the saucer became invisible.

There was some heat coming from it and it stank like rotten eggs, a sulphur-like smell but somehow different

"Everything took place just 10 minutes ago. I am still shaking."

Castlegar, British Columbia.

Date:  October 1, 2003
Time:  8:30 p.m.

Greetings, Brian. It was suggested to me that I e-mail you to let you know that my family witnessed a strange event on Wednesday night, October 1st, 2003, roughly around 8:30 p.m.

I also understand others may have seen the same flashing lights. My name is (deleted by Brian Vike), I live in Ootischenia, just outside of Castlegar, next to the Castlegar Airport.

It was a clear night, and I was looking to the north sky at the Big Dipper. I caught a glimpse of a flashing red/green and white light moving across the sky towards the west.

I thought it was an jet flying towards Vancouver, but then I returned my glance towards the east, above the Kootenay River valley, where the jet seemed to appear from, I saw another flashing light.

A called my husband to come and see this, and he saw what I saw, then we observed another appear from the east fly over Mount Sentinel and move towards the west.

My three children joined us in our observations of the unidentified objects in the night sky. These were not jets!

Within a few minutes, there were five of these objects in the sky at one time flying in various directions.

Two in particular seemed to meet up with one another and hovered across from one another for about a minute or two, then one flew directly below it, and hovered there for less than a minute, then flew in a north eastern direction towards the back of Mount Sentinel.

It flew out of sight, then in about another minute or so, reappeared from the east, (where they all seemed to come from).

"We watched these objects for about 15 minutes, then they all disappeared behind the mountains in the horizons.

Time:  10:30 p.m.

A couple of witnesses who were working the late shift at the Quesnel, British Columbia Wal-Mart saw something burning across the sky at a very low altitude.

The witnesses said the object was a brilliant red in color and traveled across the sky until they lost sight of it behind the local mountains.

The object was heading to the southeast. Both of the witnesses discussed the sighting and figured out what they witnessed was a meteor.

One of the men said there were flames coming off from the back end of it. Time observed was about 1 and a half minutes.

Slocan Park, British Columbia.

Date:  October 1, 2003
Time:  Approximately 10:40 p.m.

On Wednesday night, October 1, 2003, I was taking a bath. I have a large window over the bathtub facing the northwest and I like to look at the stars.

At approximately 10:40 p.m., a glowing white ball dropped from the sky. It did not descend at an angle as meteorites tend to do, nor did it have a green cast.

It was absolutely white and it came straight down at very high speed with a white tail of light behind it.

It appeared to be fairly close by in that I could see that the object was round. Looking at a map the next day, I determined the exact area my window faces.

It seems likely to me that it came down in the Southern half of the Little Slocan Valley, near Valican, unless the object was huge and therefore, further away.

A woman was washing dishes in the kitchen sink when she looked out the window and noticed an oblong-shaped object in the northwestern sky.

The front of it was blunt, with a "tiny" tail behind it which went to a sharp point. She described the color as being white with a glow around it being an off white color.

She watched it for about 8 minutes before it disappeared to the northeast. The witness did open the window, but no sound was heard.

Telkwa, British Columbia.

October 19, 2003
Time:  12:00 (noon time)

A man and his son were out cutting firewood near Paradise Lake, which is located about 6 kilometers east of Telkwa, British Columbia.

As the fellows were loading the truck up with the firewood they cut, the son yelled out to his father to look north and just above the tree tops.

A large glowing white globe of light flew very quickly, almost skimming the tree tops. The object was heading toward the Babine Lake area.

There was not a sound heard coming from the light, even though the light was maybe 300 feet away from the men when they first witnessed it.

Vancouver, British Columbia.

Date:  October 19, 2003
Time:  11:30 p.m.

Hi, I am reporting seeing a strange big reddish ball of light which appeared to fall from the sky. I live downtown Vancouver on the 25th floor facing northeast.

The light seemed to be over the airport. At first I thought it was a plane, but after watching it, it was much larger than a plane light and was falling vertically.

I was waiting for some type of explosion, but it just disappeared into the horizon, like it fell off the edge of the Earth so to speak.

Weird I saw this happen at about 11:30 p.m. on October 19, 2003.

As it appeared to be over the airport I think it must of been much farther as it seemed to vanish just to the right of where Mount Baker is on the horizon.

7:00 p.m.

A woman was driving a number of young girls back from a dance rehearsal in Smithers, British Columbia  to Houston.

As she drove up Hungry Hill, she noticed an very bright white object in the sky. It suddenly dropped from a higher elevation to just above the tree tops.

It was flat like a dinner plate with a single green light on the bottom of it. It was generally moving in a westerly direction, but at one point it made rapid-paced movements in various directions.

No sound was heard even though she believes they were within half a mile of it at their closest.

Investigator Brian Vike’s Note: I remember this report well. When I spoke to the lady she was still upset about what she saw. She was worrying for all the children’s safely and was very shaken by the close encounter.

Vernon, British Columbia.

Date:  November 15, 2003
Time:  9:00 p.m.

A woman was sitting in her living room watching television when something bright caught her attention. She reports seeing a large bright florescent green colored round ball of light traveling horizontally across the sky from the north to southwest.

She reports no tail or trail following the object. She observed the object for about 4 to 5 seconds before she lost sight of it.

There was a low cloud ceiling that evening and the green object was well below it. No unusual maneuvers or sound were noted.

The lady believes that the object was quite large. With her hand held at arm's length it would be the size of her thumb.

Burns Lake, British Columbia.

Date:  November 16, 2003
Time:  7:30 p.m.

A couple were driving up a hill on Highway #16 (just before Babine Forest Products) when they saw a red ball of light in front of them.

It was low in the sky and travelling at an angle downwards, behind the hill they were climbing. As they lost sight of it, they noticed that the crest of the hill, the highway and the tops of the trees were all bathed in a reddish glow.

They could not see the source of the red glow, but hoped to once they got to the top of the hill. Unfortunately, the red glow suddenly went out just before they reached the top.

They slowed down and kept their eyes open, but did not see the red ball again.

Creston, British Columbia.

Date:  November 25, 2003
Time:  9:20 p.m.

Two men driving from Creston, along Highway 3 heading west towards Fruitvale, saw briefly a number of bluish lights off in the distance, heading east towards their direction at a very low altitude.

As they drew closer, the lights seemed to spread out and then, suddenly, all of the blue lights blinked out at once.

The two men thought it was rather strange as they had never witnessed anything like this before.

They were not able to make out any type of shape, or structure as everything took place rather quickly.

The story does not end here. It was not until a short time later that the two men realized that they had travelled about 25 kilometers without any conscious memory of the distance.

The driver had blood trickling down from his right nostril. Both men became very cold and thirsty. Later, the driver broke down and was crying uncontrollably.

Both men experienced vivid dreams that night. One man remembers being inside an object, or room.

I will provide an update when we can.

--------------------

Houston, British Columbia.

Date:  December 8, 2003
Time:  8:45 p.m.

Investigator Brian Vike’s Note: This was some awesome sighting and I can see the area where this took place at my home. I just wished I was looking out my window when I craft was observed. Also, I found out later that the Houston RCMP took a report from another Houston, British Columbia resident.

A husband and wife were just returning home, and as they pulled into their long driveway they saw their two kids standing outside yelling and pointed towards the mountain behind their home.

The husband stopped the car quickly and both parents jumped out in fear as they had no idea what was wrong, thinking the worst. They almost immediately noticed a white oval shaped object sitting stationary over the back of their property.

The oval shaped object had a solid ring of blue lights which seemed to be moving around the white colored object.

A slight and annoying hum could be heard coming from it. The mother went over and grabbed the two children and went into the house with them, the dad followed close behind.

They thought it would be safer being inside looking out. Once inside the home, they proceeded to a back bedroom, closed the door behind them as not to allow any light from inside the home to give away where they were (feeling frightened at this time).

Through the window they watched the object, still sitting in the exact spot from when they first noted it. The trees which were below it were all lit up in a white light, and for a good distance around the area.

After a total of about 4 minutes of watching this unusual craft, it slowly started to move. As it did so the witnesses claimed they could see sparks dropping off the bottom side of it.

The sparks were reported to be a white in color. It rose up rather slowly and as it reached the top of the mountain, they lost sight of it.

The craft did not blink out, they thought it just crossed over the top and maybe moved down the other side. They reported that whatever it was, it was huge.

The husband said it was not a helicopter, no way ! He said they were very close to this thing, and what noise it gave off was minimal, except for the constant humming sound. The husband also said area residents would have been blind not to see this as it was so bright and large in size.

--------------------

Sicamous, British Columbia.

Date:  December 26, 2003
Time:  11:30 p.m.

Investigator Brian Vike’s Note: I have video footage which was sent to me for this case from the eyewitnesses, If I can find it as I have boxed up a bunch of my UFO goodies, I will post it. Also I should mention, I did speak to the RCMP officer who attended the call. He told me he did not know what the object was and he did try to get closer to the object, but wasn’t able to due to the terrain.

On Boxing Day the dispatcher for the Sicamous, British Columbia RCMP detachment took a call from an excited woman who requested the RCMP come to her home and look into the unusual sight that had been taking place over a period of time.

While making the report to the RCMP, the witness felt that she wasn't being taken seriously, and that maybe they thought her to be a little crazy.

However, about an hour later, a member of the RCMP arrived in her yard, then it was a different story. As soon as the officer saw the object, he stood and looked in amazement.

The police officer had no idea what it was. The officer left the family’s home and drove towards the mountain where the object was sitting, to get a closer and better look.

As well as watch the events through their binoculars and with their naked eyes, the family also video-taped the object(s).

The acorn shaped, or diamond shaped, UFO was for the most part, moving quickly and erratically around the sky and it was zig-zagging back and forth.

At one point, when it was stationary, it shot out a large red fireball, and then six bright orange lights appeared in the sky around it.

Each of the orange lights had another two white lights on them. These white lights shot a beam of light towards the ground.

Approximately half an hour later, four more of the large acorn/diamond shaped objects showed up and sat either stationary or moved around the sky.

The witnesses said the objects appeared to have hundreds of lights on each of them.

Prior to December 26, 2003 the husband had seen a similar object up in the mountains near his home. While waiting for his daughter and her cousin to return with the snowmobile, he saw an object in the sky covered in lights.

He estimated that the UFO was a mile away, and as big as a house. He was so excited and frightened at what he saw that he immediately drove back home, ran into the house and told his wife.

He wanted his wife to go back with him to pick up the kids because he didn’t want to wait alone!

The previous owners of the family’s home also stated that they had seen silver disk-shaped objects flying over and around the mountains behind the house, on many occasions.

This story proved interesting enough that the television station (CHBC TV out of Kelowna, British Columbia) sent a news crew to interview the family and to get a copy of the footage. CHBC TV is a part of the Global TV network which is one of Canada's giants in the media business.

The story ended up airing not just on that station, but aired all over British Columbia on Global BCTV. They ran the story at least three times as a part of their news.

Once at 6:00 p.m. Friday night, again at 11:00 p.m. and again on the Saturday morning news. As I was the investigator on the case they also called me a number of times and interviewed me about the story. The news gave this story a good length of time to play out on TV which was really great to see.

Something else of interest prior to these sightings but in the same area was when an RCMP officer who was out on his usual rounds in his patrol car ... noticed an object in the sky and was instantly hit with a beam of light from it. After his shift was over and upon his return to his detachment he informed his co-workers of what he had seen. They thought he was seeing things. Now perhaps they have a different interpretation of the event.
