Unknown Lights Seen Over Nottawasaga Bay Ontario Canada

Date:  January 26, 2019
Time:  Early evening.

Cove Beach looking just north of Blue Mountain. Several lights fading then growing stronger. Moving. Some hovering over the lake then disappearing perhaps into water.

Some looked like they had comet trails.

One orb would flash different colours.

Then disappear.

Round/Disc Shaped UFO Or Radioactive Meteorite Collingwood Ontario (Newspaper Clipping)

I received this fascinating report on January 6, 2019.

Date:  Summer of 1965 (?)
Time:  Approx: 9:30 p.m.

Hello Brian, my name is (removed) and I am retired and live in Lake Country, British Columbia, but grew up in the mid-sized southern Ontario town of Collingwood until I left in 1969. I am wondering whether you would be able to suggest a direction for me to pursue as a (late!) follow-up on a UFO sighting I shared with my family and a friend of mine back in the summer of 1965? It’s an experience seeking an answer that I’ve carried around in the back of my head for over 50 years now!

Briefly, around 9:30 p.m. we sighted a round/disc shaped UFO for about a 30-60 second duration. The following morning some potential physical evidence/residue was reported, retrieved, measured locally and sent off for further analysis. There was no mention of the UFO in the resulting newspaper article since we were likely the only people who witnessed it.

We called the local radio station shortly after our sighting and they hadn’t heard a thing. The item reportedly had substantial measurable radioactivity (‘75% of a possible 90%’) and it was suggested to be a meteorite. The local police notified some people at the University of Toronto (I am pretty sure it was U of T) and personnel were dispatched from there to collect and analyze it. After that, zero information, trail ends!

A radioactive meteorite is more than a rarity. From what I can determine there has never been a documented case measuring in the range this one apparently registered. We didn’t witness the UFO ejecting anything but the trajectory and timing may be much more than a coincidence. The suggestion that the object is related to the UFO and in fact may represent some physical evidence is, to me extremely tantalizing.

I have a copy of the related newspaper report on the “meteorite” from the archives of the local paper. I can share more detail as required, but for the sake of brevity on this e-mail I kept to the basics.

My thoughts are to find a local enthusiast/sleuth (from the home town of my youth or nearby) who has the interest and tenacity to find out more about the radioactive “meteorite”. Perhaps there is a regional UFO association with members who would take this on. I would be more than willing to work with any local dedicated party from my distant current residence.

What do you think?

I’d appreciate any feedback.

Brian Vike’s Note: I had the fellow contact Chris Rutkowski in Canada as if anyone would have information on this, I think Chris might.

Additional Information:

Thanks Brian for you quick response.

The only person who may still be around is my school chum whom I haven’t been in touch with since the early 70’s. I will try to track him down. My mother and father were the other 2 witnesses and are both deceased. A 5th  party (missed the sighting (nature had called him to the loo) became extremely agitated when he entered the excited atmosphere immediately following our sighting. ‘Agitated’ is putting it mildly, he was extremely upset because he refused to accept that we were serious!

He too I’ve lost touch with, he was from Anne Arbor, Michigan. He ended up in Vietnam and we were still corresponding then, but at some point he quit responding. I thought the worst, but I never found his name on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall, so that is a positive. As a side-note 9  months later he was totally freaked out once again when the “swamp gas” (Hynek’s handle) UFO flap occurred in his own backyard.

I will reach out to Chris Rutkowski thank you. Yes I would like to remain nameless where possible although I suppose it doesn’t much matter at this point in my life. The reason I was reluctant to pursue in previous years had more to do with the time I devoted to my family and career along with the inevitable dose of ridicule which accompanies personal UFO confessions. Although I’m certain there is more acceptance today than years prior.

I have attached a scan of the article and if you think appropriate.

Again, thanks for your assistance.

Brilliant Arc Shaped Object Oshawa Ontario

Date:  September 29,2018
Time:  4:45 p.m.

Number of objects: 1
Shape of objects: Arc shaped.
Colour of object: Brilliant White.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: Today Saturday, September 29, 2018 at 4:43 p.m. EST I was admiring clear skies just perfect for a UFO watch.

I took my camera on full 30 X zoom southward over Lake Ontario. Distance 3- 4 miles away - 3- 5000 feet in altitude a guess when I noticed this strange white aerial anomaly moving across the sky east to west.

I then turn on my video at full zoom as it moved miles across the sky, it's appearance look 'arc' shaped and brilliant white in color, more in length than roundness.
