Date: Late Summer of 1989
Hi Brian: We have emailed a few times back and forth and I want you to know where I am coming from. My name is (name removed), I am 42 years old now. Ever since I was a young child, before I knew anything about this, I had dreams of what I thought were skeletons coming through my basement and meeting me. Now I have a older brother (9 or 10 yrs older) and had an experience as a child. He was 15 or 16 and he asked me to spend the night
in his new room in the basement. All I can remember is how apprehensive I was and only lasted a couple of hours. The feeling of the "skeleton" creatures coming for me were very much real. Fast forward now a few years, and well the vivid dreams I had were not skeletons but, well small entities with big dark eyes or areas were eyes should be. Now to put all this into perspective, My educational background is that of a law enforcement. I have a solid education in investigation techniques, evidence collection and interviewing.
My other area is aviation. I currently have over 2000 hours as pilot in command with extra courses in meteorology. I know what the difference is between anomalous lights and standard aircraft placement.
Now for my latest recollection, It was in the late summer of 1989, I was pilot in command of a Piper Navajo. We departed for a parts run from Hamilton to Val Dor Quebec. We were chartered by Domtar for some paper mill parts. It was not that late as I remember landing and grabbing a coffee before we departed back for Hamilton. We were cruising at 13 K feet back to Hamilton and were just approaching Lake Simcoe when my co-pilot said" have a look down below" What we both saw was a deep orange glow rising from the lake, getting more distinct and disk shaped as it was rising. With in a few seconds, it was at our level, again 13K feet, and it shot straight up.
Now on the radio, Toronto Centre, there was chatter about this object shooting straight up from an Air Ontario Dehavilland inbound from Ottawa.
Brian, It was as clear and prominent as the nose on your face. I called into YYZ centre and was told if I want to make a report to do so, if not, they were sure some one else would. Unfortunately, I did not file the Transport Canada paper work and I regret that to this day.

Ladysmith, British Columbia A Giant Black Rotating Saucer Hovering

Hello, I found your email on ufoinfo.com while reading a report in Cranbrook that happened some years ago. While the situation differs vastly from what I can recall from my own, it did cause me to mentally dig up what I've kept away for about 10 years Hopefully, you'll find it of some interest.
I was sitting in my bed reading the first Harry Potter book. It had only been published in Canada a few months prior, so this was several years before Pottermania had struck. I highly adored the books concept, and to think anything could draw my attention away from it, especially as a 9 year old child, would be unthinkable. The reason I chanced to look out the window was to prevent myself from reading the entire book in a sitting, which was one of my unfortunate and expensive habits at the time. At that moment, I was scared to the point where my entire body locked up, due to the fact that a giant black rotating saucer was hovering about one and a half kilometers away, and about the same distance from the ground (maybe less). It was nighttime, so the neighborhood lights obscured much of the detail of the underside of the craft, but I could tell from the jerky blurriness of the sides' lights that it was spinning. A few seconds after this, the craft disappeared in a flash of light that only encompassed the area of where the craft had been spinning in the air. A line of light lasted a few moments and appeared to indicate the direction that the craft flew away to.
This occurred in Ladysmith, BC, sometime during the month of June. It was about 9:00pm, and there were no cars driving around. The area that the UFO would have been directly above was an uninhabited provincial forested park that was also mountainous. The most striking detail about the craft was that it was darker than the night sky, despite having small bright lights on its side and underbelly. The entire event lasted about 5 seconds, yet it left a lasting impression on my memory. To this day, I can slow down the sequence of events in my mind and draw inferences from what I witnessed. I never came forward for fear of retribution, claims of insanity or attention seeking, but now I am simply curious if anyone else saw what I saw that night in June in 1998. I read about a sighting in Prince George, BC that describes almost the exact same craft, except it takes place in 1969.

Arbutus Cove, Saanich British Columbia A Fast Moving Melon Shaped UFO

Location of Sighting: Arbutus Cove, Saanich.
Number of witnesses: 3
Number of objects: 1
Shape of objects: Melon.
Full Description of event/sighting: We were watching the Ocean and the sky in Arbutus Rd. It was moving very fast, that's why it absorbed our attention. With a speed faster than any plane. It stopped up the Oak Bay area for a little, then moved toward north until it disappeared. Very bright flashing light. The light was lighting the ocean under it. When it was moving, it was like it pushed itself frequently for moving.

HBCC UFO Research Note: Video UFO Reports Coming Soon !

I have been kicking some things around for the last while about trying out doing some video reports. I have interviewed and filmed a number of eyewitnesses for some very interesting sightings up north here in British Columbia. Also I will be going back to some of the areas where major UFO events occurred and explaining where the sightings took place and what happened. I figured this would be a fun way of showing this part of the world where I live which is really beautiful and talking and showing where major UFO events took place. Hopefully have all this rolling in the next couple months and then posted to my website, etc.

South Windsor, Ontario A Walnut Shaped UFO

Location of Sighting: South Windsor, ON.

Shape of objects: Elongated circle.
Full Description of event/sighting: Hi, I just saw it flying over, it was like a penny size in the sky. It was dark color and it was flying from north to south and it made a 90 degree turn to east and was gone. No sound.

Weather wise, clear sky with some clouds but not where I was. No there where no lights, I just saw it by mistake, looking up to the sky. Altitude ? I have to guess maybe 2000 -3000 m, it was not too high because I could see it clearly, no blur. Shape: It looked more like a small walnut and I can tell it was fast until I tried to show my wife where it is was. It was making that abrupt 90 degree turn and it was gone 15-20 sec or so.
Wow that is so weird.

London, Ontario A Bright Ring/Disc Of Lights Stationary (UFO)

Time: 9:47 p.m.
Location of Sighting: London Ontario sky, facing North. Object was most likely just north of London's Nor-West corner.
Number of witnesses: 1
Number of objects: 1
Shape of objects: Ring/Disc.
Full Description of event/sighting: While standing outside on my front porch, facing north, waving goodbye to my girlfriend, I noticed a bright ring of lights, stationary in the sky. The sky was clear enough to make out the brightest of stars and the moon through the thin layer of clouds/haze that occupied the sky this evening.
It looked to have a circle of white lights around the perimeter of the bottom of the object. I could not tell if the object was a center-less ring or a disc as the lights seemed to be illuminating the surrounding atmosphere or possibly a illuminating the haze of clouds beneath the ring of lights. The light being emitted from the ring of lights was a soft pure white and was constant with no fluctuations in brightness.
As I stared in confusion at the object that was seemingly floating perfectly still in the sky, trying to identify what it could realistically be, it suddenly shot in a northward direction and was no longer visible (I am unable to see to the horizon from my home due to a number of houses eclipsing that direction).
Shocked and confused at what I had just seen, I placed my hand over my mouth and stepped back before running into the street to attempt to debunk what I thought I had seen.
The entire event took place over the period of only 4 seconds. I have yet to come up with any viable 'real-world' conclusion for what I saw this evening.
