Bright Lights Flew In Different Directions And Stopping Over Severn Road Pill Bristol UK

Time:  Around midnight.

Dear Brian, on Friday the 3rd / Saturday the 4th of June around midnight I was outside a house in Severn Road, Pill, I looked up at the sky (facing in a South-Westerly direction) and saw what I thought was 2 shooting stars, both heading in opposite directions towards each other. When the two bright lights approached each other they did not touch, but both got flung in different directions and gradually decelerated before coming to a stop.

The lights were bright white and after doing a bit of research I believe I may have seen ball lightning. Both the balls had a very strong attraction at first as they were travelling really fast, but then both just completely stopped. 

I reckon that as the balls got close to each other perhaps one transferred its charge to the other and both neutralized, causing them to no longer be attracted to each other. I know these were definitely not Chinese lanterns or man-made craft due to the way they moved across the sky and I'm convinced that what I saw was real.

I've been keeping an eye out for similar sightings as I reckon that perhaps the ash in the atmosphere might be causing an increase in weird atmospheric conditions like these. Even though it was a clear night on Friday night and ball lightning is usually caused by thunderstorms, I also read that (in theory) they can also be caused by ash in the atmosphere.

Unfortunately I did not take any footage of what I saw, it all happened very quickly and the two lights became stationary, and then just looked like a couple of ordinary stars in the sky. I wish now that I'd continued to look at these 2 objects for any more activity, I feel foolish for not observing them for longer. The significance of what I saw did not occur to me until the following day!

Bright Lights And UFO Over Apopka Ocoee Winter Garden Orland Florida Area

Shape of Objects: 2 round lights and 1 very seeable craft.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was sitting on my porch which is on the second floor and my home and to the left of the porch and next to me is a block of woods. I always look up at the night sky in the evenings. While I was sitting there, just looking at the sky, I noticed two bright white lights moving together towards the Winter Garden/Orlando area.

What my initial thought was is that they were helicopters. Being ex military I know what a helicopters sounds like. These objects made no noise what so ever. One object seemed to be ahead of the other one. This one object then stopped, went straight up and stopped again.

It was allowing the other object to pass by underneath it. When the second object passed by, the first object then came straight back down, fell in behind the other object and then followed it. Not less than one minute later a craft, and I mean a big craft came into view through the tree tops.

This craft had a cross shaped series of lights on the bottom and was curved on all four sides. I could clearly see the shape of the craft. It was not a airplane. It was moving slowly over the top of the trees, was not making a sound, and the fact that two bright white lights proceeded it was interesting.

The shape was like a four leaf clover, I could clearly see the scalloped edges of the craft in the areas where the rounded part of the "clover" met. There were approximately 12 lights down the center of the craft and 12 lights across the craft. These crafts made no sound at all and the large one was traveling at a slow rate of speed.

I've lived in this house for over 3 years. There is no air traffic over my house unless it's a helicopter on the way to either a news story or accident, and you can clearly hear these crafts coming. Unusual to say the best. I know what I saw and have been looking on line since Wednesday evening so see if anyone else saw objects in the sky over the Apopka/Ocoee/Winter Garden/Orlando area, but nothing. I'm going keep my camera with me at all times now.

If I had gone into the house to get my camera out of the bedroom, I would not of been able to watch the craft cruise over the trees.

Bright Light With 2 Or 3 Smaller Lights Over Ladysmith British Columbia

Shape of Objects: Round.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: While driving to work that morning I happened to glance to my left where there was an opening between the trees along the highway. I spotted a bright light with 2 or 3 smaller round lights beside it.

At first I thought it was an airplane, but the larger light was so bright I could not tell if it was attached to anything like an airplane. I only saw it for a matter of seconds before the trees along the highway blocked my view of it.

I accelerated up the road to see if another opening in the trees might allow me to see it again, or if it was an airplane I might see it above the trees. I never saw it again so it was below the tree level.

I returned the next day at the same time to see if any lights in the area might have created an illusion, but I found nothing.

Wobbling Bright Light Over Qualicum District Vancouver Island British Columbia

Location of Sighting: Qualicum District Vancouver Island.

Shape of Objects:  Very bright light.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was on my porch talking with my brother on the phone and having a cigarette. It was the very last minutes of dusk and I was looking up at the stars.

From my left side I saw a very bright light moving at a pretty fast pace. I knew right away it was not a satellite because it was obviously closer to earth and much bigger and much brighter.

Our porch has a very large clearing of trees surrounding it so I had a good view of the object. It came from my left and continued over my head. As it passed it "wobbled" in a very unusual way while still maintaining it's speed.

As it moved to my right it completely stopped and remained stationary for a few seconds and then continued on finally disappearing behind the trees. I had a very similar experience a year and a half ago with several friends in Esquimalt (Victoria) and we were all surprised by what we saw, to see it again is unbelievable!

Bright Light Seen In The Sky Over Skaha Beach Penticton British Columbia

Shape of Objects: A bright light.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: Four of us were having a fire at one of the pits at Skaha Beach. We were discussing previous sightings (I had seen a UFO in Aldergrove, B.C., and my friend was saying that he had seen UFOs fairly regularly around Penticton) when we looked up, and saw, what we thought to be at first, a very bright satellite.

However, it moved above one cloud, and below another, so it was evidently much too close to be a satellite. It was also very bright, larger than the brightest largest stars in the sky.

It was also completely silent, no blinking lights or roar of a jet (we were able to see a jet go by later, so it was a perfect point of reference). It was moving up from the south, then seemed to swing east, flying/hovering/whatever directly above us and the beach (we waved and said hello and joked around about it, saying "take me!") and it continued going east, over the mountains.

It continued at the same steady pace for the entire duration of the sighting.

Bright Light Over Preston Area Melbourne Australia

Time:  6:30 p.m.

Hi, I was going to work on the 8/4/2011 at 6:30 in the Preston area Melbourne when I saw a bright light high in the sky, though it was Venus, but there were no other stars in the sky and it was not a aircraft flying straight at me.

The light was very bright and pulsated and did not move in the time that I saw it, will not forget this one. If have any other information on this sighting, please let me know, thanks.
