Hi. My name is (removed). I'm 63 years old and retired after 30 years in the newspaper business and four years in the U.S. Air Force Security Service (intelligence). Just thought I'd give you my credentials so you don't think I'm a kook.

Anyway, I've seen a few UFOs in my life, and most are types I've seen described elsewhere. But back in the 1990s -- it was the year Bob Dole was running for president (1996) -- I was a volunteer parent for my younger son's marching band. We were in Fresno, CA, for a marching band contest.

While the band was getting ready, I looked up and saw what looked like a bunch of black balloons that someone had released.

I went back to helping the band prepare, and then glanced up a few minutes later, expecting that the balloons would have gotten farther away from us and from each other. Instead, they were no farther away from us, but they were getting closer to each other.

I alerted others to this, and many in the band and among the other parents all looked up, shrugged and went back to what they were doing.

These black objects kept getting closer and closer together, moving very slowly. It took about an hour before they came together and coalesced. I kept pointing this out to everyone, but no one was impressed. One young band member told me it was probably helicopters.

Finally, they coalesced into a large, black mass, then flew away at about the speed of a propeller-driven craft, but made no noise.

I have never heard or read of this type of phenomenon anywhere else.

Police Officer Investigates Lights/UFOs Over School At Texico New Mexico

Date: 1970's

Hi I just read your article on the UFO sightings in the area back in the 70's. Before my Dad passed away I remember him talking about a friend of his that was a police officer in Texico.

I don't remember his name, but the story was that he was called to the high school to investigate lights on the roof of the school. From what my Dad had said, is that high schoolers would on occasion clown around on the roof so he was to shoo them away.

When he arrived he described what he thought were flashlights on the roof, but he couldn't see anyone holding the lights and that they came down to the ground a little distance from him then flew away.

That's all I remember my Dad telling me because that was some years ago. Also I personally have some pictures that I took 2 summers ago in Portales which is 20 miles from Clovis.

Nobody I talked to about these pictures seemed to believe me and they did not come out as well as I would have liked. I can send them to you if you like just so you can see the light I saw. But that is a whole other story on my part and has nothing to do with the 70's sightings.

An Explosion Lit Up The Sky With Massive Green Streak With Blue And Purple Over Minot North Dakota (Fireball/Meteor/Video Footage)

I did a quick check at the American Meteor Society website to see if there was a Meteor sighting on that night as this certainly sounds like a Fireball/Meteor sighting. Sure enough, there is a listing for a Meteor for that date and time. Also there is 2 video clips from folks who also saw this and one photo to view.

Location of Sighting: Minot, North Dakota.

Hi there, I was searching online for anything that could resemble what I saw and I can’t find anything and came across this email. But anywho I was in Minot, ND on November 18, 2020, sitting in my truck In the back parking lot of hotel smoking a cigarette, with my seat leaned back looking at the night sky.

It was a quiet night, just dead for being a decent size city, but it was 1:00 a.m. in the morning, during this whole COVID crap so w/e but between 1:30 a.m. and 2:00 a.m. when I was sitting back looking up, it’s hard to explain, but it was like a sudden explosion that lit up the whole area and a massive green streak with blue and purple in it and it’s like you could feel the power of whatever it was. but I

It was only like 5 seconds and gone, but the only way I can explain it, is like in Star Trek when there ship would go into hyper speed and poof gone.

That’s what it was like and the noise to just like it, but the feeling was so powerful.

I was only there for the night, but I wanted to try and get someone to pull up cameras, but never did and I even emailed a reporter in the area.

It might be something worth checking out, but never got a response and I know there a air force base there, but this was no just no ya know.

UFO Shoots Into Space Over Saskatoon Saskatchewan

Time:  9:30 p.m.

Location of Sighting: Saskatoon Saskatchewan.

Shape of Objects: Couldn't tell due to bright light glare.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: My husband and I were sitting on our porch facing east to stargaze. We then noticed a bright light in the sky. We saw that it was a huge flying object.

It was flying at a steady pace and at a low altitude. All of a sudden, it gained super fast speeds and shot out to space and was out of our sight just like that. Just before it disappeared out of our sight it appeared orange in color.

UFO Shoots Skyward Over Glasgow Scotland UK

Location of Sighting: Glasgow, Scotland UK.

Shape of Objects: Sphere.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: Tonight while out having a cigarette I noticed a strange orange/white glow in the sky. I quickly shouted out my mother (who I was visiting). 

The sphere like object was at first moving closer to us. It stopped and moved some more. Suddenly it shot straight up into the sky until it was almost star sized.

Then again it started to move along the sky and suddenly it split into two objects.

I know about Chinese lanterns and how they have been reported as UFO's, but this was nothing like that. Not at the speed this object shot up into the sky.

I would like to know if anyone else saw this object too. It certainly was the weirdest thing I have ever saw!

UFO Stops On A Dime Over Parksville Beach Parksville British Columbia

Time:  9:59 p.m.

Location of Sighting: Parksville Beach Parksville B.C.

Shape of Objects: Unknown.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: My friend (name removed) and I were sitting on the sand facing north on Parksville beach, and we were talking about 2012. I leaned back on a log and tilted my head towards the stars and right away I noticed an object moving from east, northeast to west southwest. I would have to guess it was at an elevation of 50,000 feet, or higher.

I said to my friend hey, "look at that" and she noticed it right away. We watched it travel at a guestimated speed of 2000km/h in the direction of west, southwest. After observing this object for 3, seconds, it stopped on a dime and started to travel northeast at a guestimated speed of 3000 to 4000 km/h. It only traveled in that direction for about 2, seconds before making a large 180 degree turn back in the west, southwest direction.

It then continued in the direction of west, southwest until my vision couldn't follow it anymore. My friend and I were wowed at what we had seen and laughed because we had been talking about 2012. About 10-12 seconds later, she said hey, there it is again, and she pointed to the west, but I wasn't able to see it quick enough before she said it took off in the direction of west, southwest again.

I never looked up after that and shortly after we drove back to Nanaimo where were from. I can't stop thinking about what we saw and I've considered calling airports to see if they have anything reported on radar, but I found this site instead.
