Six Bright Lights/UFOs Shoot Off In Different Directions Over Kamloops British Columbia

Brian Vike's Favorite Cases.

Date of Sighting: Multiple from 1968-1982

Time of Sighting: Late evening

Location of Sighting: Kamloops, British Columbia.

Number of witnesses: 3-6

Number of objects: 1-6

Shape of objects: First sighting in '68, six bright lights.

Full Description of event/sighting: My first sighting was in July, 1968 when my grandparents moved to their new home in Tranquille, B.C.. This place was a hospital for mentally retarded persons just north of Kamloops.

My grandfather had just begun his new job as medical superintendent for the Tranquille school. The other witnesses besides my grandfather (Dr. John Bower), were his wife, Winifred Bower, my mother, a social worker/English teacher, Angela Linge, my father, Frederick Linge a psychologist, myself, and my younger sister, Rachel.

We were taking a break from moving chores in the backyard around 11:00 p.m.. I looked up to the southern sky, just above the mountaintops and saw six bright lights flying around each other in what seemed to me like they were playing "tag" in the sky. The lights were doing figure eight motions at very high speed.

We all watched the lights for about ten minutes. Then, the lights all formed a circle shape in the sky, hovered there for about ten seconds, then sped away in every direction from the center of the circle. They moved so fast that after about a second or two, they were gone.

Sincerely,

Thank you to the witness for the report.

White Spherical Object In The Sky Above Kamloops British Columbia

Brian Vike's Favorite Cases.

Date: September 18, 2003

Time: Approximately 7:00 p.m.

On Thursday, September 18th/03 (shortly after 7:00 p.m. I think) I witnessed a white spherical object moving in roughly an east to west direction over Kamloops. It was not yet dark.

I estimate the circumference of the object at about 3/4 of the size of a dime held at arms length. I was sitting on my balcony in (deleted) facing east and south watching a thick lower cloud cover get fiercely blown, roughly from west to east (possibly southwest to northeast?).

We had very strong winds that afternoon and evening. The sky was not fully overcast and there were two levels of cloud cover. The upper cloud layer was much less dense, more dispersed, and did not move nearly as rapidly as the lower cloud cover.

As I looked up between, say, +/-35 degrees to the horizon I saw a perfectly round very white object come into my view moving slowly in a straight line roughly east to west (possibly northeast to southwest) above the lower cloud cover (at roughly the same level as the upper cloud cover). In any event it appeared to be moving in the direction opposite to the wind.

I observed this object between 30 seconds to 60 seconds. Towards the end of the sighting the object appeared to smoothly turn away from me slightly as it moved into clouds in the upper cloud layer where I could no longer see it. It did not remerge that I could see.

I cannot estimate the size of this object. I am not particularly good at distances and my only real frames of reference are the two layers of cloud cover. I don't know the elevations.

I believe it shifted direction slightly because it appeared to reduce somewhat in size before it entered the upper clouds - as if it had turned away and was receding into the distance.

I won't hazard a guess at the size of the object but I will stand on the fact that it was white, perfectly round, and it moved against the direction of the lower cloud cover.

Has anyone else been reporting sightings of objects in the sky around Kamloops recently?

Thank you to the witness for the report.

UFOs Making Unusual Maneuvers Near Mount Paul Kamloops British Columbia

Brian Vike's Favorite Cases.

Date: November 9, 2005

Time: 4:00 a.m.

Dear Brian, I was up on the internet late and went for a stretch on my deck and to catch some cool fresh winter air. I noticed three ships right away in the Northeast direction, all near Mt Paul in Kamloops, B.C.

Then all of a sudden one scooped downward like the loop in a J form. The form of the loop of the J was the size of 1.5 x the mountain size in length and it was not a quick action, but a floating weightless type of movement angling away from Mt Paul itself.

I thought oola nice, huge smile and then it blinked out, was not a fast movement and extremely noticeable. I smiled and under my breath said "welcome" while wondering if the speed was deliberate to ensure being seen.

When it blinked out it would have been about 200 feet above ground. It was over an area where there is natural thermal heating in the ground. As it made this slow long scoop shape it never faded or streaked or sped up, it just floated in a controlled manner.

Took me off guard, I quite enjoyed this lovely surprise. Could not be mistaken for a falling star...was slow, noticeable, deliberate. Pure delight and the smile is still on my face. Somehow I sensed many more than the 5 or so ships that predominated the sky that night. I also knew there were be no further events that morning.

I clearly understood that somehow there was no need to hang around in consideration of a further event. In retrospect I realize that this knowingness, in itself, was interesting. To some degree there is a sense of knowing; of just watching the events unfolding over time now. The knowingness has a simple peace to it.

Thank you to the witness for the report.

3 Orange Balls Of Light Seen Over Kamloops British Columbia

Brian Vike's Favorite Cases.

Date of Sighting: Around 1999 or 2000.

Time of Sighting: Morning.

Location of Sighting: Kamloops, British Columbia.

Number of witnesses: 2

Number of objects: 3

Shape of objects: Round.

Full Description of event/sighting: Hello, don't know why I've decided to do this today, but anyways. A friend and I were sitting on my back patio in Kamloops having coffee one summer morning around 1999 or 2000.

He was relating to me how his girlfriend and he had seen some weird orange balls in the sky the previous evening at the drive in movie. The view from my patio is generally southwest and I live on the valley bottom so there is a clear definition of altitude if anything is below the ridge line.

After I had teased him about blowing a gear (he's a logging truck driver) we were chatting and enjoying a typical beautiful Kamloops early summer morning when we both see a cluster of three glowing orange balls zipping across our field of view, below the ridge line.

They were only visible for a few seconds as they were moving fast, best guess would be three to four times as fast as a Dash 8 on final, something I see five or 6 times a day as we are on the glide path to KYA airport.

They quickly disappeared from view heading down the valley out over Kamloops Lake. To summarize, they were orange (pale) they were probably between 5 and 10 feet in diameter and they were traveling somewhere between 400 to 800 mph at an altitude of less than 1,500 feet, but more than 1,000 feet.

With the benefit of hindsight I wish I had made some notes to record the details, but the points I've just related are not subject to confabulation and the story can be confirmed by my friend and my wife (who didn't see them because she was in the house) can verify the incident. Best.

Whirring Sound Comes From Massive Black Triangular UFO Over Industry Maine

Brian Vike's Favorite Cases.

Date:  Summer 1988

Time:  Afternoon

Location of Sighting: Industry Maine

Number of witnesses: 4
Number of objects: 1
Shape of objects: Triangle.

Full Description of event/sighting: This sighting took place one relatively clear summer afternoon. At the time I was at my ex girlfriends parents home. We were standing out in the yard just talking or what not, can't remember exactly what we were doing. But all of a sudden it got dark, like a big rain cloud just arrived overhead.

I looked up and directly overhead was the largest air craft I had ever seen. Can't really guess how big it was, but it certainly was as big as the biggest jet made or even larger I want to say.

It was triangular in shape, and black. I could not see any markings or windows. It was very low to the ground. It was not silent, but as if it were coasting with engines off. There was just a whirring sound. I couldn't believe anything this big could stay in the air at such a slow speed. I assumed it was a stealth jet. One of those secret ones they don't want us to know too much about.

My first impression was that it was in trouble and was looking for a place to land. This is a mountainous area and by the direction it was headed I thought it might be headed for a farmers field that was about three miles away. I didn't want to miss this, so a few of us hopped in the car and raced towards the field in hopes to see the craft land. We did not see the craft in route nor was there anything at the field when we got there. We got out of the car to listen for anything. There was nothing. That was the end of it.

I'm sure this was just some sort of military maneuver, but I'll never know. I didn't call to report it. I wished I would have if only to know if anything was supposed to be in the area.

I say this took place in 1988, but it may have been 1987 or 1989. The timing is a bit foggy. There had to have been others that saw this that day. I'd be curious to know if any did.

Thank you to the witness for their report.

Round Disc/UFO Giving Off Hundreds Of Sparks I-94 Near Ann Arbor Michigan

Brian Vike's Favorite Cases.

Date:  August 7, 2001 (Approximately)

Time:  Approximately 1:00 p.m.

Location of Sighting: I-94 Near Ann Arbor.

Number of witnesses: 2
Number of objects: 1
Shape of objects: Round disc.

Full Description of event/sighting: My wife and I were coming home from our cottage/trailer at Andrys Acres in Jackson, Mi., when just east of exit 172 on Eastbound I-94 a craft came right in front of us (about 200 feet away) from behind some trees (south to north) a giant UFO. A round disc, only about 100 feet off ground, extremely recognizable, very clear, and it was probably 100 feet wide, extremely bright lights emitting from around where the windows were (all around it) in the middle.

The top part above the windows section resembled a dome, like a derby hat, and the bottom. Below the middle windows section was larger (the widest part) and was saucer-like. It hovered over the western edge of I-94 at least 5 full minutes, allowing us a spectacular view of it since it was so close to the ground.

It was emitting many thousands, if not millions of sparks. Just like they came off a sparkler. These sparks were being powered somehow, because they just didn't fall like regular sparks. Some hovered then flew up and away in many different directions.

Some flew with huge force into the ground. Some hovered and they did circles and things (like they were dancing in a way) before flying off towards Detroit and elsewhere. (The UFO, while hovering was wobbling, as seen with other UFO's).

Then the whole UFO flew towards Detroit at a spectacular speed. It was reported on Channel 4 News (WDIV) that night at 6:00 p.m. any many, many other people seen this craft, as we did, because we were all pulled over on the shoulder of I-94 watching this for at least five minutes, probably 7 or 8.

This was probably over Detroit in about 3 seconds from Ann Arbor and it left that fast. This is true, so help me god. They do exist. I still re-live this entire sighting in my mind to keep it fresh all the time. It was simply amazing. We will never forget this.

Thank you to the witness for their report.
