Object Falls Out Of The Sky With Long Tail Over Burnaby British Columbia

I just saw someone's post on your site about this so I thought I would add my sighting to it as well. I thought what I saw was at about 12:30 a.m.

Basically I saw something drop straight down out of the sky with a huge white light and very long tail.

I didn't feel anything or hear anything but just saw it fall to earth. I am not very good at judging distances but I thought for certain it hit on the mainland. Maybe it was so big it just looked like it was close? If anyone else saw it, I'd be curious to hear about it.

Hello, saw fireball falling from sky in High Quadra/Saanich area approximately 12:30 a.m. while walking home down Cameo St. after work.

I wondered what it was, thought I'd inquire on line today. Glad I found your report, guessing it was what others reported.

8 To 10 Lights Seen High In The Sky Over Fairmont British Columbia

Hi, this is just to confirm your sightings. My wife and I were returning from the Black Forest Inn about 11:30 p.m. after dinner on New Years eve.

We first noticed the lights when we were about 5 km north of Fairmont.

There were about 8-10 so at first and were quite stationery and very bright we thought they were lights at the ski hill, but seemed very high.

As we approached Fairmont 80 kpm zone it became obvious they were much higher I would guess 5-10,000 feet or more and some started to fade and gradually disappear.

We parked below the grocery store at Fairmont and watched as they all disappeared in a  SSE direction. They appeared to travel away at a high rate of speed as they faded out of sight.

Witness Watches Night Turn To Day In A Large Flash Of Light Over Qualicum Beach British Columbia

About an hour ago I was lying in my bed watching a movie on my phone.

The room was completely dark except for my phone screen, all of the sudden the outside lit up like daylight, then flashed a few times then went back to darkness.

It is a clear night tonight and I don't think it was lightning. Any ideas on what it might have been? Please get back to me with any information you might have.

Bright White Object With Tail Shoots Across The Sky Over God's Lake Narrows Manitoba

Time:  Evening.

 

I seem something bright about 40 minutes ago, I live in Gods Lake Narrows and any who, I was having a smoke outside and I usual look up and see the stars and when I was looking some bright just whiz threw the sky.

 

It was very large and bright. My girlfriend said it was a shooting sky, but that wasn't no shooting star, too close n too huge. I'm looking everywhere for answers, but closest thing was your site.

 

It was a bright white light. A long tail too like it was on fire, hard to explain.

Orange Light Fills The Sky Over Tsaxana North Of Gold River Vancouver Island British Columbia

I am responding to a post on the internet regarding the sighting of a bright light in the sky by a witness from Texada Island on the morning of January 02, 2013 at 12:20 a.m.

I would also like to mention that I have witnessed the bright light that filled the sky for a brief moment on that vey night from Tsaxana, a kilometre north of Gold River, BC Vancouver Island.

I put a post on Facebook asking others if they too have seen the light, and several witnesses from the community have seen the same thing. One witness from Tofino, B.C. area also witness the light.

This light filled the sky gradually for 2-3 seconds before going dark again. The sky filled with an orange light becoming bright for only a second before dimming out again into darkness.

I have never seen such light in my life that I was shocked for a moment. The light can be seen coming from the south, but come have easily come from the north.
