I got a great photo of the light and I saw it for about an hour over Fort Saskatchewan Alberta area.

Vertical Bright Strobing Cylinder Shaped Light Over Northeast Of Edmonton Alberta (Update)

Time:  1:15 a.m.

Hey Brian, It is 1:15 a.m. October 16th, 2012 in Edmonton and my friend and I can still see a large strange strobing horizontal cloud lit up by an untraceable orange light north east of Edmonton.

There was a fixed vertical bright strobing cylinder shaped light above the cloud a half an hour or so ago. We could not get a good picture with our smart phones.

We have been watching for a while and the vertical light keeps showing up again but very faint compared to earlier and in slightly different heights above the cloud.

We are trying to call the radio station, but its busy. This is amazing!

White UFO Makes Crazy Maneuvers Seen From Toronto Ontario

Date:  1980
Time:  Approx: 11:00 p.m.

Hi Brian, back in 1980 I saw with my brother from my Toronto Apartment on the 18th floor looking south towards Lake Ontario what appeared to be a perfect vivid white ball in the sky just above lake Ontario.

This white ball was hovering and moving in a square pattern and we just asked, what the heck is it, then in about 5 minutes of watching this ball it came to a sudden stop and within 10 seconds and it just zoomed off in a blink of an eye, no trails and no glare, but you could see that it was like it took off before it vanished.

In about another 5 minutes later we heard and saw 2 air force jets head towards the area that we saw the white ball. Many people saw this sighting since it was reported on the local radio news, but no explanation or follow up was given.

Never heard anything more about it after that. Once in awhile I hear UFO stories and it brings me back to that time in 1980 and wondering what the heck that white ball was. I am sure that it was not ball lightning, no cloud or storm in sight, the time was about 11:00 p.m. EDT.

At the time I was 21 years old and I really did not have much interest in UFO’s and never did any follow up on my own. Makes you wonder if they are from out of this world or not.

I could understand why astronomers cannot see them since once they zoom off they disappear in a blink of an eye, like the Enterprise does when it goes into warp, best description I can come up with.

Round Red/White Star Like Object Seen Over Bolton Ontario

Date:  October 14, 2012
Time:  11:15 p.m.

Location of Sighting: Facing east Brampton, maybe over Bolton, Ontario.
Number of witnesses: 2
Number of Objects: 1
Shape of Objects: Round, looked like red/white star.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: On Sunday, October 14, 2012 at approximately 11:15 p.m. we exited Hwy 410 at Mayfield Road and were travelling east bound. We noticed a round bright starlight object moving in the sky travelling south bound.

The object was far from us, but was definitely low in the sky. It changed in color as it moved, from red, orange and white. The object moved faster than any plane that I have seen, and I have seen a number of planes since we live close to the Airport.

The object disappeared right in front of our eyes and then a few seconds later re-appeared. They were no clouds in the sky at the time and the night was clear as we were able to observe a number of stars.

After re-appearing the object again disappeared. We are certain it was not an airplane as airplanes do not move like that, also the trajectory of the object rules out any space debris.

We were unaware that others have observed the same type of object in the sky. I routinely star gaze and am into amateur astronomy, yet I have never observed anything like that object before.

Orange Vertical Light Appears In The Sky Over South Cooking Lake Alberta (Update)

Date:  October 15, 2012
Time:  11:00 p.m.

I was driving home from my boyfriends house in South Cooking Lake going north on Range Road 223 at 11:00 p.m. on October 15, 2012 and an orange vertical light appeared directly above and in front of me.

It  appeared suddenly and faded and then grew brighter and so on. I stopped to get out and look at it/take a picture, but my phone couldn't capture it.

The weird thing about it is that it looked almost like the sky was split open and light was shining through it.

It did not move, just grew dim and then light again. As soon as I thought I was right under it, it just disappeared. There was absolutely no moon tonight as well and I was hoping someone could offer an explanation.
