Red/Yellow Ball Of Light Over Mississauga Ontario

Time:  Approx: 10:00 p.m.

Hi Brian, I saw 'red mixed with yellow light' ball in Mississauga, Ontario. (Red light ball with yellow light circulation). It was flying along Winston Churchill Blvd. toward Niagara Falls very low, fast and without noise.

It was Friday August 31, 2012 at around 10:00 p.m. After that I tried find something on internet. I watched 100's videos and most were of the same balls in UK, Finland, US, Canada (Toronto, Mississauga, Hamilton)  was same time with fireworks.

Last Friday were fireworks and every Friday summer in Niagara Falls are fireworks 10:00 p.m.

Red/Orange Circular Object Seen Flying Over Pickering Ontario

Time:  Approx: 10:00 p.m.

Hello. On the evening of August 11, 2012, I was attending a family gathering at my sister's condo, in the Rosefield/Finch Ave area of Pickering. I'm not sure what time this occurred at, but it was probably at of after 10:00 p.m.

A group of us (approximately 5-7) were standing outside, saying our goodnights, when someone spotted an object in the sky that defied description. We were facing south, and this single object was moving from west to east, at about a two o'clock position, at a steady speed it's distance was hard to determine due to it being dark.

The object was circular, and had strong orange/red colour. Maybe about the size of a pea held out about 1 -1 1/2 from my eye. It took maybe a minute to cross the horizon, eventually disappearing into some clouds in the distance.

Generally it was a clear night, stars were visible, and there were scattered clouds. This object was below the clouds, and had no flashing, or other kinds of lights on it. It was also dead silent. To clarify this, we could hear, and see the faint blinking lights of a passenger jet very high, and due north of our location. 

I heard afterwards, that later that evening, some of my nephews, and their partners leaving the same function, basically saw the same thing again.

Afterwards, searching the web, for any corroborating stories that might have been posted, I found this story, which sounds almost exactly the same as what we witnessed.

Orange/Amber Light Over Oshawa Ontario

Date:  September 2, 2012
Time:  Approx: 9:00 p.m.

I saw the same thing the evening of September 2nd, 2012 around 9:00 p.m. It didn't hover though. It was in the northern sky, approximately 20-30 degrees above the horizon, moving in a constant motion east to west.

Stayed in the sky for about a minute before I lost it behind trees.

Large Orange Colored Ball Of Light Over Oshawa Ontario

Date:  September 2, 2012
Time:  Around 9:00 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.

I saw the same thing last night (September 2, 2012) in Oshawa in the northern sky. Around 9:00 p.m. or 9:30 p.m. Approximately, 20-25 degrees north of the horizon, a single large orange ball moving steadily east to west.

No sounds, no raise or lowering of elevation. Lasted about a minute before I lost if behind the trees.

Large Glowing Ball Of Light Leaves Then Returns Over Peterborough Ontario

Time:  Evening.

Last night over Peterborough, Ontario 6 of us witnessed the strangest large glowing ball in the sky. Never have we seen anything like this before.

It hovered in the sky for over a minute and then took off at a very high rate of speed. Twenty minutes later it was back and did exactly the same thing. Some of us were skeptics, but no more.
