Date: July 3, 2010
Time: Approx: 12:00 (midnight)
We saw the exact same object, one really bright with a smaller second following right behind at Katepwa Lake on July 3rd at approximately 12:00 midnight. The first was very bright with the second being much smaller and about as dim as a star. They moved very fast and of the 10 adults sitting by the fire no one knew what we just saw?

Bright Light Observed Over Silton Saskatchewan
Date: July 3, 2010
Time: Approx: 11:30 p.m.
Hi Brian, In regards to your sighting from Vermillion AB on July 3rd 2010.
About 35 of us including friends, family, children and adults were sitting around a camp fire at Sask Beach Saskatchewan near Silton Saskatchewan when we appear to have all seen the same lights you just described. The only difference I would say is that the dimmer light behind the bright light seemed to be going the exact same speed as the brighter one.
I don’t recall the exact time, but 11:30 pm seems about right. We also noticed when it appears to flash very bright for about a second then dim out again. The first light was always brighter then the second one. They went right across the sky then just vanished.
If you have seen anything like this in the same area please be kind enough to contact Brian Vike at: sighting@telus.net with the details of your sighting. All personal information is kept confidential.

83 Lights Seen Over Amherstburg Ontario
Time: Approx: 11:30 p.m. to 2:00 a.m.
As we sat by our fire last night we had allot of sightings. At first I shrugged it off, but as the night went on we counted a total of 83. All in the same flight path, sometime one at a time and sometimes in groups of up to 12. Please tell me I'm not the only one.
Additional Info:
Yes I'm in Canada, just off lake Erie in Amherstburg. This all started around 11:30pm. after 2 hours I figured that we could watch until the sun came up. So we called it a night around 2:00am.
If you have seen anything like this in the same area please be kind enough to contact Brian Vike at: sighting@telus.net with the details of your sighting. All personal information is kept confidential.

Bright Light Seen From Vermillion Alberta
Date: July 3, 2010
Time: Approx: 11:30 p.m.
Hi, as we were sitting around the campfire in Vermillion AB when we saw this bright light travelling quite fast and horizontally across the sky, followed not at the same pace was a smaller light, the big one eventually went very bright for a second then dimmed a bit, but still moving across the sky, eventually it was like they just left our atmosphere and couldn’t see it anymore.
It took maybe 2 minutes to watch it go from one side of the sky to the other. No colors were on it, had a very long good look at it as we were sitting out there. Also this was around 11:30 pm.
If you have seen anything like this in the same area please be kind enough to contact Brian Vike at: sighting@telus.net with the details of your sighting. All personal information is kept confidential.

Bright Light Over Gull Lake West Of Blackfalds Alberta (ISS)
Date: July 3, 2010
Time: 11:36 p.m.
We were sitting around the campfire on the west side of Gull Lake (west of Blackfalds, AB) Saturday night, July 3, and at exactly 11:36 pm when I first spotted a very bright light, moving slowly from west to east at approx: 75 degrees off the southern horizon. As was your sighting. The leading light was much larger and had what appeared to be a smaller light following it as if tethered to the bright light.
Both lights appeared to be colorless from our vantage point.
If you have seen anything like this in the same area please be kind enough to contact Brian Vike at: sighting@telus.net with the details of your sighting. All personal information is kept confidential.

Bright Light With Red Light Trailing Behind Over Medicine Hat Alberta
Time: Approx: 11:45 p.m.
Hello, we were watching a movie outside last night, July 3, and at approx: 11:45 pm, in Medicine Hat, Alberta
When the movie was over myself, husband and brother pointed out the Big Dipper to our kids and then spotted a very bright light, moving slowly Eastward. First thoughts were satellite, but then we realized it was too close to Earth. The bright light, nose, was being trailed by a smaller reddish light, it appeared to be the 'tail' or something tethered to the bright light.
It was flying too high to be a helicopter, too low to be a jet and there was no noise. We watched it for about 5 minutes, but couldn't discern an object or shape. The bright white light was much larger and brighter than airplane lights, it had a large radius as well. Any ideas? I thought I'd send this account as there seems to be many sightings from BC, AB and Sask. all within the same time frame.
