I had found an eagle feather when I was living in the southern part of BC. I put it on the coffee table with a crystal, and it not only looked good, I could pick it up and feel it whenever I had the urge. The eagle feather, I read, was a sacred object and was to be treated in this way.
It stayed there, with the crystal for a week before I had an event. It had been raining all day, so not being able to keep my eyes open anymore I went to bed.
Sometime later, I awoke to find the feather touching my face and then receding away and then touching my face again. I could see this because of the lightening outside. There also seemed to be an outline of a hand holding the feather.
Again, I only wondered what the feather was doing and fell fast asleep. Come morning I ran into the living room and the feather was there. I pondered this, but put the crystal on it so it could not fly into my room again.
I still have that feather today. It has a special meaning now.

Vancouver, B.C. Haunting Story From 1955 to 1958 (But Solved)

Hi Brian, Your query re. Ghost Stories brought to mind something that happened to me a long time back. From 1955 to 1958 I delivered the Vancouver Sun newspaper from 41st and Oak north to 32nd. Oak to Laurel. This was in the city of Vancouver for those who don't know. Vancouver in the 50's was still only partially built up with houses and large blocks were still covered with second growth forest. At that time the area bounded by Oak St. to Laurel St. and from 37th. Ave. north to 33rd. Ave. was part of Langara Golf course. Later it was made into a High School. Around the outside perimeter of the Golf course was a band of trees. I believe with the intent to keep flying golf balls from flying across the street and striking the houses and a few pedestrians. There was one strip about midway up the driving range where there was a gap in the trees and several hundred feet of long grass dividing the course from the street and if it was a nice day I would often sit and watch the golfers and make a note of where their balls landed.
I would sit and watch as they hunted in the grass for their balls getting more and more frustrated. Finally I would get up and go and locate it for them this would always be rewarded, usually 25 cents which was a lot of money in those days. Some days I might take in two or three dollars which was a lot more than I got for delivering the paper. During the day I loved the area, but once each month I had to go back at night when I had to make my collections. Then those trees around the golf course would sometimes take on an eerie and sinister and sometimes menacing appearance, especially in the Fall and Winter when it got dark early. That's when I would rush to try to finish my route before it got to dark. The incident I recall took place in the Fall of 1957, I had gotten a late start making my collections and by the time I got as far as 33rd. it was already after 11:00 pm as I was reminded several times by irate customers who had been gotten out of their warm beds. Anyway that night it was really black with heavy rain and the wind was blowing almost gale force and the racket coming from all those trees was rather unnerving. Remember, I was just a teenager at that time. When I reached 33rd. there was a one block stretch with trees and bush on both sides of the road before I reached the houses again. I would always ride my bike down the centre of the road and do it at a good clip.
This particular night I had just reached the first of the houses when I got the feeling someone was calling me. I turned around and saw what appeared to be a tall slim woman all dressed in White from head to toe like she was wearing a cloak. She was standing about ten feet back in the bush and appeared to have one arm raised as if she was beckoning me. It was quite dark around her but she just seemed to glow. My first thought was she was a ghost the second the Virgin Mary. No, I am not particularly religious, just that is what she looked like. I only had three more blocks to collect from so I disturbed all my remaining customers just as fast as could and then beat a hasty retreat for home. On the way I met my brother who had been sent out by my father to search for me as it was about midnight by then. The next day was more of the same sort of weather and I was rushing to get finished. I never thought about the lady until I was already at the houses on 33rd. then I turned around and there she was still beckoning and still glowing in the dark. I realized that she could not even be seen when you were on the road next to her location due to the bush and it was only when well past that there was an opening into her little clearing.
I decided right then and there that I was going to do my route in the reverse direction the next day so I could be there during daylight. Luckily it cleared somewhat the next day and was still quite light when I got there. From across the street it still looked like a woman, but as I got closer I soon realized it was just a stump about six feet high. Someone had peeled all the bark off of it and the beckoning arm was just a jagged piece of the stump. As I stood there looking at it I soon found why it appeared to glow in the dark. The one solitary street light chose that moment to come on and the light from it managed to penetrate the trees to hit right on that stump. Now I knew what it was but still for the remainder of the time I spent delivering papers in that area I would still avoid that spot the best I could. Even knowing, it still gave me the creeps to look back and see her calling me back.

Vernon, British Columbia UFO Burning/Flames And Disintegrating

Hey Brian, I saw something burning, all in flames and disintegrating, heading low in an eastern direction over Vernon town a couple of weeks ago. Close to 10:00 p.m. around midweek. It was coming down at, I am guessing, a fifteen degree angle from the west. The speed was slow, smoky, in flames and disintegrating. I have heard meteorites kind of spit and flare, with smoke, but this is the first time I have seen flames. Take care. Thank you to the person for relating the sighting.

Terrace To Kitimat, British Columbia UFO Makes A Circle In The Sky

Hello Again, I started working in Terrace last month, so I drive to and from Kitimat Monday to Friday to make my 11:00 a.m. till 8:00 p.m. shift.
Tonight I was driving home from Terrace and I saw a bizarre sight in the sky.
At the end, but above a straight stretch of road in the pitch-black night, I saw a light do a circle in the sky. From where I was driving, it crossed over the horizon (the road). It followed the treeline in a straight line. It was a very quiet thing flying not more than a hundred feet above the treeline along a straight stretch of road. It had a red light on one side and a blue light on the other, like an airplane shape. I know it was quiet because I stopped the car and got out. It was quietly droning, unlike any plane that I knew of (that doesn't say much because I'm not an expert on planes). Cars and trucks were driving by though I had my hazard lights on. A young man pulled over and I showed him the thing flying past. I was very shaken by the flying thing and quickly got back in my car and drove off. He took quite a chance stopping, and so did I considering the missing women in recent years on highway 16.
For your information, since I moved to Kitimat 2 years ago, I have been seeing a distant, slowly circling, red and blue flashing light from my balcony in Cable car Kitimat. I can count on it any night its clear in the summer. I've never seen it in the winter. This occurrence tonight seems to be related. Do you have any idea what this is? Regards.

Description: I had just left my office in the Inkster Industrial park area heading south on Keewatin St.at Burrows Ave. when I noticed something metallic in the sky. At first I thought it was a plane when I noticed something strange about the shape. It looked like a plane's fusilage without wings or a tail, just a silver fusilage.I had pulled into the safeway parking lot to grab my camcorder,when I noticed it bank to the left and changed direction south.As it banked to the left it was evident that it was no longer cigar shaped but clearly disc shaped.It appeared to be heading south and moving slower than a plane when all of a sudden it just disappeared.Temperature had plummeted to a brutal -32 w/windchill factors of -43 very cold w/clear blue skies.The other odd annomoll,y was every plane visible in the sky left a vapour trail and as it flew further away it was still visible.This craft just disappeared.Also when it banked or tipped to the left it did not straighten out it stayed in that position and continued to move south,clearly showing it's disc shape before it vanished.
Color/Shape: Cigar shaped or that of a fusilage at first until it banked left than it was clearly a disc.
Height & Speed: A little lower than most commercial airliners maybe 15-20,000ft.speed of travel was a little slower than a plane until it vanished.

Keefer Lake, British Columbia Tubular Shaped UFO (News Footage)

HBCC UFO Research Note: The message below is in regards to Keefer Lake, British Columbia sighting and footage taken of the object. CHBC television went out and interviewed the man. News clip below.
Hi Brian, Rob from Keefer Lake here again. I have not been on your site for well over a year so have been out of the “loop” so to speak. I notice that there has been some interest in our sighting here. I would like to correct a misconception that has popped up. That being the second sighting by the CHBC news crew.
During the interview an object appeared similar to my original sighting. This object though similar was not the same as the first. I also taped this sighting and examined it on my computer after the reporter had left and after I had contacted you. On examination the differences are obvious. The CHBC sighting that day was obviously an aircraft. What has not been seen by you or anyone else are the close up shots that I have extracted frame by frame of the first sighting.
I have shown these shots to anyone interested including my brother-in –law, who owns and operates an aircraft maintenance facility, and the overwhelming conclusions have been ones of “…what the hell is that?...”. If it is an aircraft, not one of these persons, including pilots and air traffic controllers have been able to identify what type of aircraft it could be.
What was not shown on the CHBC broadcast is:
1. The first objects upon close examination reveal anything but a known aircraft. The gap between the 2 pods is distinct and not wing shadow. Blue sky is visible between them. I have changed hues, background colours etc. and the results all show a space between these pods.
2. These pods have flat faces front and rear with no tail, wings rotor or any other configuration common to known aircraft.
3. There are distinctly globular black dots appearing and disappearing from front to back of these objects in a rhythmic pattern. On some frames it can be that these dots are cut in half as they pass from front to back through the gap. On some frames there is only one dot and on other frames there are as many as seven distinct dots.
4. There is an obvious corona surrounding the entire craft that is visible no matter how you adjust the controls.
5. These objects were too close to the ground for commercial aircraft, a fact that is obvious to anyone who has been to our camp.
I have been staying incognito on this subject for the last year but I can say that these are not the only sightings of strange craft in the sky and I am not the only one in this area who has seen UFO’s here previous or since.
I will send you a complete copy of the tape ( the original stays with me) if you are interested as my equipment to properly analyze this tape is insufficient. Sincerely.
