Date: July 18/19, 2006 Time: 10:30pm-1:50am
Number of witnesses: 1 Number of objects: 4 Shape of objects: Bright white light.
Full Description of event/sighting: At around 10:30pm on July 18th, I noticed a burst of white light that appeared very high in the sky east of my location (East London). As soon as it became apparent, it sped off at an incredible speed toward the NEE. The sky was clear save for a light haze that took some of the night's darkness away. This was also accented by a bright crescent moon in the NE. What was remarkable about this sighting (I've had others as I am very aware and observant) was that this object left what looked like a vapor trail that lasted for about 5 seconds. This confirmed to me that I indeed saw something. Intrigued by my good fortune, I was compelled to observe further a little later. As luck would have it, at roughly 1:50am I saw another.
This second one appeared more like a satellite crossing the sky, except for the fact that I had never seen one travel from the NW to the SE. Curious, I tracked it until it changed direction and went due East. After around 20 seconds in this direction it faded out, or I simply lost it in the night sky. Still feeling fortunate, I sat around and continued to look at this same area of sky, also shared by UFO #1. Low and behold a third UFO (I didn't say saucer) flashed across this area. It was a quick white-blue streak less intense than #1, but still brighter than a shooting star or meteorite. And then about 3 minutes later, another one in the same area shot off like UFO #3. These didn't fall toward earth, but instead remained on the horizontal. Of course I won't be setting up camp in my backyard to observe, but this is an unusually active night of which I feel, given more free time, one could easily observe more activity judging by this unusual frequency of sightings. And yes people it is really this simple. Problem is that it hurts the neck looking up for extended periods, so we mostly focus on terrestrial objects. I only wish I had decent video equipment, as I'm confident that I could record some.
I'd like to also add that I too have seen a Black Triangular saucer back in 2004 in Toronto. At around 2:15am I noticed the craft leaving from downtown Toronto's direction and following the QEW highway West across Etobicoke until it reached south Mississauga. Like other reports, what was really uneasy about this one is that it wasn't high at all, which gave me a great view (I lived just off the QEW). As I observed, not breathing and with my heart stopped, it flew dead silent. It flew perfectly level and did not waiver a bit. It did have 3 large red lights or pads on the underside in each of the angles, and a smaller red light in the center. It was very eerie how precise and exact it moved, almost like a stalking shark gliding through the water. When it reached South Mississauga, just past the 427 Hwy, it stopped and 4 seconds later it kind of shook and then BAMM, it took off in a direction that I could not discern.
I also saw one on the ground in Pickering (In the forest surrounding the Metro Zoo) that generated a fantastic twisting funnel of alternating colours of light that went up into the sky to join in a low cloud cover. This cloud cover extended south and came down on the Pickering Power Plant. The closer it got to the plant, the oranger the cloud became. It is also my belief that this was responsible for the incredible winds and lightning that was occurring, and yet the storm made no sound! I was living on the 16th floor of an apartment bldg on the east side of Scarborough that also faced east, giving me a great view. This mini storm also managed to push my east facing windows glass right out of the rubber that held it in its frame. Luckily the bottom held, and I was able to push it up and duct tape till morning. In the morning the flashing/cap at the top of the building on the east side was blown off in almost every spot, and went hurtling down to stick in the ground like daggers. Luckily it was around 3am, so there were no casualties that I was aware of. My wife also witnessed this, but remains silent on her belief as to what it was. I don't want to tell you the whole story for fear that you might think it too unbelievable, and possibly that I may not be completely sane.
All I can say from my experiences is that I don't need anybody to tell me that we are not alone, I already know the answer.
If I get any pictures or video, I promise to get it up to you.
Thank you to the witness for the report.

Nelson, British Columbia Five Lights Making Unusual Maneuvers
Posted: January 18, 2008
Date: July 20, 2006 Time: 2:20 a.m.
I heard from a witness who described an unusual sighting he and his wife had. At 2:20 a.m. on July 20, 2006 in the couple's backyard they watched five bright lights that looked out of place due to them being very bright and lower than any other star light in the sky. As they looked on all the lights proceeded towards each other, and all coming from different directions. The lights eventually passed one another and traveled a short distance in the sky and then came to a quick and complete stop. At this point three of the five lights again moved toward the other two and as they passed the two lights the three objects disappeared immediately. It was like someone had turned off a light switch they were gone so fast. The remaining two lights finally started to move in a northern direction and vanished shortly after moving from their stationary position. The entire sighting last approximately 6 minutes.
The people said they have seen many meteor, aircraft lights at night, and satellites over the years but this was nothing like they have witnessed before.
Thank you to the witness for the report.

South East Vancouver B.C. A Loud Metallic Grinding Sound Is Heard From Above
Posted: January 18, 2008
HBCC UFO Research Note: Over the last few years I have received reports that are similar to this one below. Strange loud sounds coming from above or over people's homes, but there is no rational explanation found for what the cause of the sound was. I would like to ask any others who may have experienced this same thing in the South East Vancouver B.C. area to please write to me with a detailed report. Thank you, Brian.
Date: July 20, 2006 Time: 5:05 a.m.
Message: Hello Brian, I am writing to report a horrendous shrieking grinding noise that woke our entire family on the night of July 20/21 06. It occurred at 5:05 a.m. in the area of South East Vancouver. I awoke panic filled, to a sound that I have never heard before, and quite frankly I have no idea what could even make such a noise.
My dog began barking, and then howling alerting the family that something was going terribly wrong. My wife and I sleep on the top floor bedroom with a large deck just outside the door. As I awoke to the sound, my first thought was that a jet plane was about to crash into our house. I ran outside to the deck to try and find the source. The noise can only be described as a very loud shrieking, with a metallic grinding sound that shook our neighborhood, but as I stood on the deck, in my underwear, there was absolutely no motor noise or sight of a plane. To me it sort of sounded like a pack of coyotes, a huge flock of geese, and a million seagulls being put through a huge wood chipper with a bad set of bearings, with a low underlying, chanting, yelling voice. Just complete distress!
I know that sounds strange, but I spent the next couple of hours on my back, trying to think what could possibly make a sound like that. My 21 year old daughter also was awakened by the noise, and I could hear her downstairs in the living room trying to calm our howling dog. She was completely panicked and at a loss for words as to what could have made that noise as it scared her badly, it was so loud. My wife also heard the shrieking, and like the rest of us, has no idea what could make such a sound. I wouldn't have been surprised at all to see a jet engine come crashing through the low cloud cover, and hit any of the houses on our block. Whatever made the sound was directly above our house, above the low cloud cover, and seemed very, very close. The sound slowly moved south west and towards Richmond, still shrieking loudly, where I later heard on the radio they had a "mysterious power disappearance" from the power grid, and were blacked out for a few hours. I am wondering if anyone else heard that God awful sound. Thanks.
Thank you to the witness for the report.

East Lake Near Picton, Ontario Craft Zig Zagged Across The Sky
Posted: January 18, 2008
Date: July 21, 2006 Time: 1:30 a.m.
Number of witnesses: 2 Number of objects: 1 Shape of objects: Unknown
Full Description of event/sighting: My friend and I were at his cottage standing on the deck overlooking the lake. A thunder storm just passed by and the sky was clear at this point. My friend said " you just missed a shooting star." He then pointed to the night sky. I looked up and seen a light in the sky, and then it vanished only to reappear again approx. 2 seconds later in a new position. We traced it as it passed from east to west until it was out of our line of site. My friend and I are rational people and also some what inclined as far as aircraft and military practices in the area. This thing was moving much faster than any man made aircraft. There was no sound, just the white light from the object. The sighting lasted about 2 minutes. The craft zig zagged across the sky while flashing very slowly, it flashed about 10 times during the entire ordeal.
Thank you to the witness for the report.

Over Assiniboine Park, Winnipeg Manitoba Bright Light
Posted: January 18, 2008
Date: July 23, 2006 Time: 3:31 a.m.
Location of Sighting: Over Assiniboine Park, heading south west. Number of witnesses: 1 Number of objects: 1 Shape of objects: Like a moving star.
Full Description of event/sighting: I was looking out of the south facing window of my apartment (overlooking Assiniboine Park) at 3:30ish, Sunday July 23, 2006 when I noticed a shooting star. I decided to wait and see if there would be any more when I observed an object that looked like a star (only slightly bigger) moving from north to southwest (very fast and consistent trajectory). In my opinion, it was too low/large to be a satellite and definitely too fast to be a high-flying jet. In addition, noise was audible and the object disappeared while I was following it with my binoculars (possibly due to thin cloud cover). I'm not sure what it was but I'm fairly certain it wasn't a satellite or a plane.
Thank you to the witness for the report.

Kitimat To Terrace, B.C. A Sparkling Ball Of Red Light
Posted: January 18, 2008
Date: July 24, 2006 Time: Just after midnight
Last night I got home at about 5 or 10 minutes after midnight. As I was getting out of my car, I looked up and a streak of what appeared to be a firework (very close range) shot across the sky. it made no sound. The centre of the sparkling ball of light was red, and the "fire" outside of the "shooting star" was blue. it looked like one of those fake sparkly birthday candles, though the light and colour were compact and deep. It shot from my right to left following the highway from Cable Car (a suburb outside of Kitimat) to Terrace. Then it seemed to burn out, though the trees are tall, so I guess the trees covered the rest of its trail.
Last summer I saw quite a bit of the action described by other people. Lights crossing the sky at night - though crossing too slowly to be planes, and making no sounds. blue and red. back and forth. up and down, then back up to away from the earth. I'm setting up the telescope with my son. Maybe we'll see more.
Thank you to the witness for the report.
