Full Description of event/sighting: We were driving from Ontario to Manitoba. and were close to the Manitoba border. It was about 7:30 pm when I noticed a backwards white "C" in the sky off to the north a bit, but not too far, it was more above than north. I asked my buddy. Do you see that?. He said yes, I asked him then. What do you think it is? He said I don't know. I had the opportunity to watch this object for about 45 minutes. It was as white as a jet contrail and I thought, well maybe that's it. But I soon realized that it was remaining in the backwards C shape and it was traveling in a westerly direction.
We were doing around 110 km/hr and the object continued to pull away and it was some distance up. A jet airliner that was heading east actually passed right by it. I thought whoa. I wonder if they saw it. So I sat there watching and trying to come up with an explanation for the object. For some time I was racking my brain, it couldn't be the moon, my buddy said Venus. I said nope, way too big. So I watched it till it finally went out of sight heading west. It was a peculiar sight and even more strange that it passed by so close to the jetliner. That's all I can tell you.

South Of Sioux Lookout, Ontario A Horseshoe Shape Of White Lights

I had a sighting in August of 2005 similar to this report below:
Dec. 23, 10:06 p.m. — Three people travelling in a vehicle observed a circular object with three flashing red and white lights flying along the right side of Highway 72, 10 kilometers south of Sioux Lookout. When they got closer, the object suddenly took a 90-degree turn left and “flew over the highway and right over us.”
It was around the same area too, there was a horseshoe shape of white lights in the sky about 200 feet up or so that remained stationary. I pulled over and rolled down my window thinking it would be a helicopter but there was no sound at all, it was just hovering there. I rushed back into town to get a friend so I could show them but by the time I got back it was gone.

Pebble Beach In Westbank, British Columbia A Series Of Sonic Booms

HBCC UFO Research Note: I had received reports on this event, and yes a fireball was reported followed by a sonic boom.

I read with interest your account of May 18, 2007 on Okanagan Lake. Two years ago there were a series of sonic booms in the Okanagan Valley. My wife and I heard one while on Pebble Beach in Westbank. She said it was just like when the military planes landed in Seattle where she lived. My first grade daughter at the time heard another one in class. My local astronomy group recorded seeing a fire ball at night then a sonic boom. These all happened in the same month and I never heard of such before or after in the Okanagan.

Edmonton, Alberta Light Stops And Grows In Intensity

Full Description of event/sighting: Last night at just after 2:00 in the morning I went outside, because I couldn't sleep. I stood in the back alley looking at the stars as it was a very clear night, with just a couple of clouds visible. I stood there not 5 minutes when what I thought was a satellite moving north at about 90 degrees directly overhead, it stopped dead in it's tracks and lit up to an enormous bright light that appeared to me to be pulsating. It lasted only about 5 seconds then started to diminish until it was the same spec in the sky as before and continued on its path.
I am an amateur astronomer and skywatch as often as the weather permits, and know that this was way to high to be a helicopter which is often seen around my area. For this thing to go from a pin point of light to about the size of the tip of my index finger in brightness is very strange to me, as I'm sure it must have been very high in altitude. If there is an explanation I would love to hear it, because it has me at a loss. The color was bright white, and no noise was heard.

Full Description of event/sighting: I was sleeping last night and was suddenly awoken by a sound which seemed to be coming from my back yard. I looked out my room window into the backyard of our house to see a red ball of light. After a few minutes of watching the red ball of light, I was some how drawn to go and see what the light was. I left my room and proceeded to walk to the sliding glass door in the family room to see, I could see it as I was walking towards the door, wondering what this ball of light was.
I went to open the door and the light disappeared, then there was a sound I can't explain, and then a crash. I was not willing at that time to see what had made the sound, I was going to close the door when I felt a sudden coldness come over my body. It made my body cold and shocked, then I was able to close the door. I went right back to my room and saw the red glowing light still pulsing and seeming to grow in size then suddenly shrank. I woke up the next morning wondering what I had seen and feeling a sense of something watching me.

Spring Lake, Alberta Orb With Different Colors

Message: Saturday July 16th 23:00-00:00? Canada Alberta, Spring Lake (formerly Edmonton Beach) about an hour out of Edmonton.
We had the fire going, my father in law (ex-military), mom in law, wife and myself. It was windy and the nimbostratus cloud covering was low but in the distance to the west we could see clear sky and the tree-line. The sun was still setting and would of been beautiful if not for that blanket above us, still we could see the red light on top of the tower in Wabamun and the beautiful Alberta peach colored sky.
My wife has an eye for UFOs, she as usual said "what is that over there"? At first I thought for sure it was Venus or Sirius. It looked like a planet and even my father in law agreed and said it was a planet or star. I figured it was a planet, due to the sun would of been hitting it directly and would explain the magnitude of this thing. It might of been moving from south to north slowly as we didn't notice.
But than after 3-5 minutes we all noticed this thing was lower and slowly moving north. The whole sighting was about 10 minutes, or it seemed that way. My wife ran in and grabbed the binoculars and we all got a glance at this thing. It was one orb with colors going from red, orange, yellow and white. We all agree it was orange red, yellow, well we agree on those colors. It would head north in a straight line. Than drop altitude stop. than hover north again and drop altitude again than we lost it in the tree-line.
My mother in law stayed there with bionics in hand, waiting for it to come back up out of the tree-line but to no avail.
I asked my father in law if he could identify it being in the forces and he said "no". I was so happy there were 4 witnesses to this.
This isn't our first report to this site and I by the way things are going all around the planet I don't think it will be our last.
