Location of Sighting: Whitby. Number of witnesses: 2 Number of objects: 2 Shape of objects: Bright light.
Full Description of event/sighting: I was standing outside, having a smoke (as I often do many times a night), and I was looking at the stars. Well, one of the stars was moving, fast. From south to north. Very, very fast. I think to my self, huh. Wow. That was neat.
So, my mom comes home and I tell her what I just saw. So we both stare at the sky for a bit. Now, another bright light came back from north to south, then flashes brightly and fades out (as though it shot "up" and away). Now, like I said, I smoke outside a lot and stare at the stars.
So when a lot of jets began appearing heading roughly in the direction I saw the objects, it became suspicious. And they kept coming, and heading in that direction. Including 3 that changed course to head in the direction of the second sighting.
I was the only witness to the first one. My mom and I both saw the second one. Not sure what else to tell you. Oh...actually, maybe that they were 5-10 minutes apart. Hard to be more accurate as I was talking to my mom about the first one, and staring intently at the sky. So I was fairly awe-struck. Over Pickering, Near Lake Ontario Black Object Stationary (UFO)

Date: June 10, 2007 Time: Approx: 5:50 p.m.
Location of Sighting: Roughly over Pickering near lake Ont. shoreline. Number of witnesses: 10-15 Number of objects: 1
Full Description of event/sighting: Around 5:50pm Sunday June 10th, playing baseball in east Scarborough at a complex (east point) that is very close to Lake Ontario. Looking east towards Pickering maybe a little further north just over the tree line was a single object just "sitting" there. I watched it from the outfield for about 5 minutes. Object was not moving what so ever. I got the attention of about 12 other people (all friends) Although non have an interest in the subject, no one could come up with a logical explanation. We watched the object on and off for about another 15 minutes until we left. There was definitely a suspended object in the sky that was absolutely not an airplane, helicopter, balloon, kite or a bird. It was black in color, only about 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch long and only about an 1/8 of an inch tall and looked to be only a few hundred feet up (hard to say exactly though) from our view point. Although no one could agree as to exactly how far away the object was, my guess was roughly somewhere over Pickering maybe near the power plant (about 10k east of where we were) and just a little further north but still very close to the lake. It was a very clear late afternoon with only a few clouds in the sky. Although the object was small, once spotted it stuck out like a sore thumb.

Brandon, Manitoba Disk Shaped Objects And Rays Of Light (Photos)

Full Description of event/sighting: Actually I snapped 9 pictures of these disks through my window. I could email them to you. It was about 2:00 a.m. and a clear night when I was looking out my window. I saw these yellow rays that looked like fire, they went out after about 10 minutes. I grabbed my camera and snapped a few pictures of them and I watched them for about an hour. Then they just flew away real fast. It was in the east end of Brandon Manitoba and also I heard the sound of jet engines a few times that night. To email me, my address is: (removed by HBCC UFO Research).
Additional Information:
I saw these UFOs on early Thursday morning these pictures were taken at about 2:00 am in the east end of Brandon, Manitoba. You might have to clean the pictures up a bit with a program to enhance them and they were taken pointing the camera threw a window screen. Those 2 red dots to the left are a radio tower and those blue dots are dust on the lens.

Northwest Calgary, Alberta Witness Feels The Heat From A Bolt Of Lightning

Location of Sighting: Northwest Calgary. Number of witnesses: 1 Number of objects: 1 Shape of objects: Lightning.
Full Description of event/sighting: It was a cloudless night at the time and I had just stepped out to have a smoke before I go to bed when it happened. Right in plain sight this orange lightning shot across the sky, several bolts from a point, to a point, then retracing back thicker and shaped like a horse-shoe. The lightning made no sound of a boom. I could feel the heat on my face. I've heard of ball lightning and I know that this isn't that, lightning in a cloudless sky? The next day I see the inverted shape of it in my eyes, like when you look at a light for too long and stare away and you get the negative imprint in your eyes. It seems to have gone away now 24 hours later but it still has shaken me up a bit. I need to know if anyone else saw this to confirm my sane-ness. Thank you.

Pickering Power Plant Over Lake Ontario Lights From Stationary Craft

Hi Brian, how was the week away ? I can't believe your last post about Lake Ontario sightings. Myself and a friend witnessed something strange near the Pickering Power Plant over Lake Ontario, after 12:30am on June 14, 2007. There is video footage, and he has a better quality camera then what I have. He phoned me two days later telling me his camera has captured this UFO. What I had witnessed with the aid of binoculars was about 5 or 6 lights-orange in color.
They were blinking on and off along a straight bottom row of the craft. Light sequence from right to left-on and off. The object was in fact stationary, as we both view for about a minute by binoculars. Then both of us began filming this thing at a distance, maybe about less than 2 miles away. Altitude appeared about 1-2000 ft. high max.Then after about 2 minutes, the craft had vanished. Now in it's place, the presence of a low flying Cessna came in right where the object was sighted. My friend claims the timing of the Cessna came to investigate the UFO. Civilian aircraft are restricted to fly near the nuclear power plant. I will see him next week and check out his footage. If it is clear, I will make a point in getting to you. No secret photographic evidence helps the sighting report.

Hamilton, Ontario A Golden Spherical Object (UFO)

Date: June 20, 2007 Time: Daylight sighting.
Location of Sighting: Hamilton Ontario. Number of witnesses: 1 Number of objects: 2 Shape of objects: Spherical/Irregular.
Full Description of event/sighting: I was sitting on my front porch feeding the birds. A group of seagulls were circling overhead which caused me to look skyward. I observed a golden spherical object traveling from WSW to ENE toward Lake Ontario. The sky was cloudless and the sun was in the West. The object can be best described as a large boulder and was of a brilliant golden color. The sun may have enhanced the color of the object but it had a clearly defined shape, not a blurry one that would be caused by light reflection. There was no sound or vapor trail. It appeared to be on a definite and determined course and was not meandering or changing speed/altitude.
It was traveling much faster than an aircraft or satellite but slower than a meteorite. It had a definite shape and was only observed for a matter of 5 to 6 seconds. It's speed was such that it disappeared from view in the sky well before it reached the horizon. It is impossible for me to estimate it's altitude but it appeared to be less than that of an over flying aircraft.
This location is approx. 3 nautical miles from John C. Munroe International Airport and there is a fair amount of traffic at times. It was not traveling in the direction of the airport and would have been at an altitude that would have prevented it from making a landing approach either here or at Pearson International in Toronto.

Stoney Creek, Ontario V Shape Of Lights

Location of Sighting: Stoney Creek Number of witnesses: 2 Number of objects: 1 Shape of objects: V shape.
Full Description of event/sighting: I was sitting laid back with wife on patio chairs at 10:10 p.m. We noticed a bright light and moving very fast. As it came over us it looked V shaped. The two lines that were touching that bright light. They were making it look V shape and the lights were very dull, or hard to see. Very dim. No sound, No blinking. V shape.

Canmore, Alberta Object Appeared To Be Spinning

Location of Sighting: Western sky. Number of witnesses: 2 Number of objects: 1 Shape of objects: Shaped like a dream catcher, not perfectly round.
Full Description of event/sighting: I saw what appeared to be a very bright star in the western sky just above the mountains heading towards Banff. As I watched it, it seemed to have some red color to it. Took out the telescope and it looked exactly like a "dream catcher". It appeared to be spinning but not moving. The colors seemed to change from green to blue to red like a fiber optic lamp would. My husband saw it too. Eventually it dropped down behind the mountains. Not sure what it was, but I would love to know though. Please let me know if this was something others have seen. Thank you.

Full Description of event/sighting: Me and two good friends of mine were enjoying a cloud-free night on my dock. As we sat with our heads tilted back looking at the perfectly clear vision of the heavens. We all found our eyes on a single twinkling star. We looked at it for some time, trying to guess if it was a far off star or a planet within our solar system. Over a period of time we noticed that it was no longer twinkling, in fact it was flashing two distinct colors, red and blue. As time wore on we then discovered that it was moving down the sky ever so slowly. Over the next five minutes it changed direction and moved across the sky and quickly became so low that we could easily see that it was round and had red white and blue lights flashing around it. Plane's lights flash two at a time and do so symmetrically. This was red, blue, white, white, red, blue, white, white. Each light going around in a circle, spinning. It came over our heads, so close that we could clearly see spaces between the lights. It was about the size of a poker chip, if you were to hold one up over your head and close one eye. Now for something to begin as a star in the sky and then to be so close you can clearly make it out, means something strange is happening. I must add that during the entire process, not a single sound could be heard.
At this point in the night, I ran up to my cottage to tell my father while my two courageous friends stayed to see if anything else would develop. When I returned I was informed that a second had done much of the same thing. While they were telling me about it, we saw a third. It began as a star and eventually came so close we could, again, see these lights going around in a circle as it spun over our heads. Again, not making a single sound.
At this point we felt very uncomfortable and were trying to rationalize what we had just seen, when in my direct line of sight, in the middle of the night sky, just below where we first noticed these stars appearing, I saw a bright flash of light radiate out from a central point and then collapse back in onto itself. It was the size of a dinner plate. Brilliant white light, perfectly symmetrical in its clean circular shape, expanding outwards and then collapsing in onto itself. While I saw it directly, my two friends saw it within their peripheral vision, I am glad of that.
What we saw was too low for a satellite and much, much, much too silent for any conventional aircraft. Also I could only describe the 3 formations of light as the clichéd saucer... which I am not happy about, because although I know what I saw was what I saw... a cliché is still a cliché. I find myself looking at the sky every night now, and constantly researching on the internet to see if anyone else saw this.

Vernon, British Columbia A Sphere Descended Behind The Hill

Location of Sighting: Due east of Vernon. Number of witnesses: 1 Number of objects: 1 Shape of objects: Sphere.
Full Description of event/sighting: Hi Brian, I was closing my curtains at 9:45 and watching a light over the hill due east of Vernon. At first glance it appeared to be a small plane on track to the airport, the light itself had a central yellow glow surrounded by white halo. I watched it go out, and reappear though there were no clouds in the way to block the light. The sphere descended behind the hill, the center of the light was luminescent yellow and the white halo around it was emanating from the yellow.The halo was not in an enclosed circle ,it radiated. It slowly dropped down on the other side of the hill. The size of the sphere was a pea held at arms length.

Hi Brian, I was looking at the beautiful sky when I noticed something strange in the sky so I grabbed my camera and took 3 pictures in a row and then it was gone. I hope you can get a better look at it. I know it's not a plane because of the distance it went between each snapshot. This was in the NNW sky. Thanks and I'm sending the next picture so you can see how far it got in seconds.

Two strange lights traveling in Massey.
June 19, 2007 Massey Ontario. Five of us were standing outside, none of us know too much about satellites. At first we thought we saw two of them but as we watched them we weren't too sure anymore. It was not planes though. They traveled in unison very quickly almost from the west toward the southeast it was very strange. I will be checking in to this site to see if anyone saw what we saw or even looking for an answer. Thanks.

Pickering - Over Lake Ontario Two Strange Bright Blue Lights (UFO)

Full Description of event/sighting: We were sitting outside on our patio and happened to notice two bright blue lights in the sky. They were traveling together in a perfectly straight line.They were keeping the exact distance apart from each other. It was hard to tell if it was one object or two. It could have been one long narrow object. As my girlfriend went inside to get the camera, I witnessed the lights both go out at the same time. If the objects flew in behind a cloud one would have gone out of sight before the other as they were traveling in a linear pattern. Not to mention the fact that I could clearly see stars in the sky around them and there were no clouds to obstruct them. The lights went out as if someone flipped a light switch on them. They did not re-appear and were not seen again. We tracked them over head for a about three minutes.To give a rough idea of what they looked like.

The arrow shows the direction of travel and the stars indicate the bright blue lights moving at the exact same space apart across the sky. Planes would have been moving at even slightly different speeds either gaining distance or losing it from each other and would have had red lights or other indicators and certainly would not have shut off their lights at the same time.

English, Ontario Two Round Shaped Luminous UFOs

Location of Sighting: English, Ontario. Number of witnesses: 2 Number of objects: 2 Shape of objects: Round.
Full Description of event/sighting: We were on the balcony when we saw two round shaped objects very luminous and equidistant were traveling in the night sky from west to east on the sky. We see all the times the airplanes from the Pearson Airport and this was nothing I could refer to. I called my wife to witness this and my daughter was on the balcony as well. Based on the luminosity and the speed of travel I can say it was like a stick object with lights at the proximities. Nothing like this we saw before and we were very impressed with the smoothness the object slide through the sky. You should look for additional witnesses I am sure you will find some people seeing the same object.

Ancaster, Ontario Two Very Bright Lights Appeared To Be Linked Together

Full Description of event/sighting: It was around 10:00 pm and my wife and I were out in our Hot tub. It was partly cloudy and I was looking up at planes flying over when I noticed two very bright lights moving slowly across the sky. At first I thought they might be helicopters, but they made no noise. I also noticed that they were somehow linked. They moved in a perfectly aligned pattern.
They came from the northwest and slowly turned towards the south. After they went behind the house my wife told me to go out front to see where it went. I did so and could not see it anymore.

Toronto, Ontario Two Light Traveling In Unison (Daylight Hours)

Location of Sighting: Downtown, looking northwest. Number of witnesses: 2 Number of objects: 2 Shape of objects: Round white lights.
Full Description of event/sighting: Like the others posted, I saw to be two lights traveling in unison. It was daytime and I thought it was maybe two helicopters or jets, but they moved together as if connected. I watched for about 5 or 10 minutes. Very interesting.

Mississauga, Ontario UFO Shape Of A Hat

Hi Brian, how are you? This past Friday June 22/07, at 8:15 pm in Mississauga I saw another UFO. This time it was much smaller and the shape of a hat the top was rounded with a flat bottom. The top part was a very shiny silver and with the suns reflection you can't even see it until it moves. The flat bottom when in motion was a bight orange all around the bottom. I was looking at a plane going by when I thought it was a bird as the object maneuvered as to avoid the plane, then it zigged zagged and went quickly in the opposite direction of the plane right across the sky might I add in a couple seconds. I was wondering was there any other sightings on June 22/07? Please advise. Thanks.

Strange Memories Of Revelstoke, British Columbia (Update)

HBCC UFO Research: The report below came in through submissions, this leaves the person reporting anonymous to me, Brian Vike of HBCC UFO Research. So I have no way of replying to this person about the report that had been submitted to HBCC UFO Research. I also would like to add that although I do agree with the person reporting and talking about the frustrations because people will not acknowledge events that they have obviously seen or heard. I do understand why folks do not come forward as much as they do. Also I would like to mention that I have folks telling me that they had a UFO sighting going back some years and wonder if I would be interested in hearing their story. Yes I am most interested in any sightings or experiences know matter when they happened. Every report is very, very important ! The lady who sent in the report did write to me through my hbccufo@telus.net email address. I have now spoken to her.
Some writers of several recent submissions have expressed frustrations because people will not acknowledge events that they have obviously seen or heard. Although I cannot explain why that happens I can give an example. I was once one of three people who "wouldn't talk".
About 30 years ago I was on a road trip with my parents and three year old daughter. We were slowly traveling across British Columbia and planning to circle through part of Alberta before heading home to Victoria. We arrived in Revelstoke late on a sunny summer afternoon, found a motel and went for dinner. After dinner we decided to go for a drive. We had noticed on a map that there was a road going a short distance, maybe 20 miles, down the east side of Upper Arrow Lake. Since the purpose of the trip was to try to find roads we'd not yet traveled, off we went.
Although the sky was clear in Revelstoke we were heading south into a high overcast and far to the south we could see periodic flashes of sheet lightning within the clouds. Just a few miles out of town the road turned a sharp corner to the left and followed the base of the mountains around a large bay. The moment we turned the corner I was terrified. I wanted so much to ask my father to turn back but the logical side of me kept saying to not be silly. The purpose of the trip was to explore. Eventually I stopped looking out the window and started talking nonsense to my daughter playing on the floor of the car (before seatbelts). I was trying to distract myself.
About half way around the bay my father stopped the car and for no apparent reason rapidly turned and went back the way we had come. He said nothing but I was so relieved I almost cried. The only comment my mother made was "So you felt it too." I still could not look out the window. As soon as we turned back around the sharp corner we were back in sunshine and the feeling of terror instantly disappeared. All dad said was "Promise me that none of you will ever drive down that road again". When we got back to the motel we went to bed and I recall thinking that I was glad my bed faced the door so if I had to, I might be able to protect my family. We all went right to sleep.
The next morning we were up and on the road. Nothing was said about the strange drive. That was completely out of character for all of us. Not only would we normally have talked about something like that, we would have driven back the next day to at least the beginning of the bay.
None of spoke about it for about four years then one of us finally asked if we remembered the event. Apparently dad "knew" that if we had kept going we would have never come back. Mom also admitted to being very, very frightened. We still have no understanding or memory about what frightened us. We also told each other that although we had wanted to talk about it we couldn't. I recall often trying to think about it and say something but the thoughts and words just dissolved. That was happening with my parents as well. My daughter had not appeared bothered at all on the drive. That could be because even if there was something unusual or frightening out there, she couldn't see out the window. It could also be that at three years old everything is unusual and sometimes sort of scary!
What had we seen? Nothing. What had we heard? Nothing What happened? Nothing. What had we felt? Terror. Why could we not talk about it? I don't know.
So for those who are confused when others don't talk about something, please realize that maybe they do know what happened ....but they just can't hold onto the thoughts or words!
Twenty years later I went back to Revelstoke with my husband. We started down that road. Everything had changed with the lowering of the lake level and the growth of the trees. However when we got to "the" corner I asked him to stop. There was nothing at all frightening about the place. He asked if I wanted to go farther but I said no. I remembered my promise to my dad. I've stayed in Revelstoke many times since then but I know I will never travel that road. Maybe someday I will remember why.

Toronto/North York, Ontario A Stationary Black Object

Date: June 15, 2007 Time: 11:00 a.m.
Approach Direction: N/A Departure Direction: Up Witness Direction: South East.
Description: I was on the subway returning from Downsview station, approaching Yorkdale, facing south east on the train. I looked up and saw a stationary black object just below a large cloud. It was tube shaped with rounded ends. I didn't want to take my eyes off of it, it was so strange how it wasn't moving, than it did move, back wards and forwards without reorienting it's self at all and as I blinked it went up into the cloud and was gone. It took all of 30-45 seconds.
Color/Shape: Black, featureless surface, tube shaped (cigar) looked small.
Height & Speed: at cloub level maybe the size of a van.
