Blue Light Makes Strange Maneuvers Over Cape Breton Nova Scotia

Date: January 15, 2011 (?)
Time: Approx: 4:30 p.m.

Hey, I live on the south shore of Cape Breton Nova Scotia. I was looking off my patio on the 15th or so of January, and I saw a light behind a dark cloud. It was around 4:30pm, so it was almost dark. Behind the cloud the light seemed blue and moved all around in an almost an awkward speed.

It did this long enough for me to yell to a friend and he witnessed it for about 5 seconds and then it came from behind the cloud and seemed white this time. It went into the woods or beyond the horizon? Needless to say my friend was spooked. I watched it a bit longer and never thought much more of it until tonight and noticed other sightings around the same small area.

UFO Makes Strange Maneuvers Over Mudge Island Seen From Brickyard Beach Gabriola British Columbia

Date: January 22, 2011
Time: Approx: 7:30 p.m.

I stopped at the brickyard beach on Gabriola 01/22/2011 at about 7:30 pm and looking south over Mudge Island, when we saw what looked like a fire on Mudge. We then noticed it was moving south, very slowly and it started to fade. We got into our car and drove south, it appeared in the sky over Mudge again, so we stopped on the side of the road to watch.

The light slowly moved, what looked like southeast and it was pulsing and lighting up the clouds above it. It then faded from sight, ten seconds later it appeared in the same spot over Mudge. Wow kind of freaked us out. It went in the same direction as before then faded out, that was about 7:45 pm.

If you have seen anything like this in the same area please be kind enough to contact Brian Vike at: sighting@telus.net with the details of your sighting. All personal information is kept confidential.

Unknown Clusters Of Blue Green Lights Making Strange Maneuvers Over Calgary Alberta

Date: December 1, 2010
Time: Approx: 9:00 p.m.

I just found a post at http://the-v-factor-paranormal.blogspot.com/2010/12/bright-blue-light-spotted-over-calgary.html while searching for any possible sightings over Calgary Alberta on December 1st at around 9:00pm.

From my back yard in the southeast of Calgary, myself and two friends witnessed a strange "cluster" of lights moving at an unknown altitude in the northern sky moving quite quickly from east to west. After a discussing it with one of my friends, I realized that the object I was looking at and commenting on was not the same object one of my friends was watching. The other was similar except smaller and moving from west to east.

When they got into a close proximity to each other, one above and one below, we realized that a good deal of the sky seemed iridescent with smaller individual bluish-green lights. These smaller individual lights were moving around each other in random patterns, then grouping together with the two clusters that had now stopped in the sky.

When all of the smaller individual lights had cleared the sky (presumably after grouping with the two clusters) the cluster which had been moving from west to east began moving west again and quickly vanished. The cluster that had been moving from east to west began moving east again quickly, but did not vanish entirely.

Instead it stopped after a moment and appeared to get smaller over time until approximately 9:20 pm when it either became indistinguishable from the stars around it or vanished completely.

I attempted to take a picture, but couldn't get anything to appear in the view screen display on the camera due to the darkness so it wasn't until the next day when I transferred the pic to my computer that I realized that something had shown up.

I have attached the picture. The cluster that was traveling east to west appears roughly in the center bottom quarter with the smaller lights in a wispy pattern in the upper left corner. Had I not seen the "clusters" I would have dismissed the rest as being some sort of charged particles in atmosphere or other similar disturbance.

I'm not sure how easily any of this can be explained away, but I would ask that you examine the photo and discuss it with me before you post it anywhere or comment on it in any forum.

Please feel free to share it with Brian however, the individual who made the post which I am commenting on.

Thanks for your time.

If you have seen anything like this in the same area please be kind enough to contact Brian Vike at: sighting@telus.net with the details of your sighting. All personal information is kept confidential.

UFO Makes Strange Maneuvers Over Jones Creek Ontario

Date: 2007
Time: Approx: 10:00 p.m.

Location of Sighting: Jones' Creek, Ontario.
Number of witnesses: 2
Number of Objects: 1
Shape of Objects: Round.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: My sister and I were doing some bullheading at a popular fishing area named Jones Creek about a 10 to 15 minute drive from the city of Brockville.

We were standing along the rocky shore when I noticed an orange light in the sky, it was slightly larger than a star and I guess I could have passed it off as a star if it did not move the way it did. The object moved with great speed in a straight line and then descend downward and again in different directions, but always in a straight line. It did this in different directions for a good twenty minutes and then blinked out. It was very interesting how it moved unlike any aircraft on earth. It was a good thing the UFO showed up because the fishing sucked that night.

Kimberley, British Columbia Thin Cigar Shaped UFO (Strange Maneuver And Speed)

Posted: March 7, 2008

Date: March 06, 2008
Time: 11:20 p.m.

Location of Sighting: Kimberley, British Columbia
Number of witnesses: 1
Number of objects: 1
Shape of objects: Thin cigar, humming bird body profile.

Full Description of event/sighting: Was just walking down an alley to visit friend when spotted the object streak across the sky. The object I saw moved from a southeast to southwest direction horizontally above our local ski hill. Then made a wide turn to a northwest direction. After I saw this, I instantly ran to friends house hoping to get him to see it as well. It was gone by the time we came back to look. The object I saw had an orange blur to it and moved as fast as a meteorite entering our atmosphere.

Anyways will be keeping two eyes out and keeping my video camera on at all times.

Thank you to the witness for the report.

Rayleigh, British Columbia Strange Object Making Unusual Maneuvers

Posted: March 2, 2008

Date: 2003
Time: Early morning hours.

Hello there, I was just perusing your report on the July 28th sightings and would like to add my story.

First of all, I'm not sure what it was that we saw in the early morning hours and I'll let you draw your own conclusions.

I live in a community about 10km north of Kamloops called Rayleigh. Here we have the luxury of rural life while still enjoying the a few of the benefits of city life. There are few street lights, the yards are large and there is a peacefulness that many of us take for granted. It had been so hot for so long, since May, that it was near impossible to sleep, so my sister, who was visiting, and I decided to go for a midnight swim. The kids were already sleeping and a quiet dip in the pool seemed so inviting after spending the day in the hot sun with screaming kids splashing around.

We were floating in the pool and were looking east toward the mountains when we saw a light. It was in the distance approx. 2km away, round and white. There was no beam, no arc, just a light much the sort a flashlight might appear to be from a distance.

At first we thought it might be a helicopter because of the way it weaved and bobbed from side to side and up and down. For quite some time we watched it and theorized why a helicopter would be out in the dark. Then we realized that we could not hear a motor and our helicopter idea was shot down. In the valley where we live we should have heard and felt the reverberation of the rotating blades, but we didn't. The night was so quiet that we could hear a truck coming down the highway for miles. What now? We discussed the possibility of it being a dirt bike or a mountain bike out for midnight ride on the mountain, but saw the light suddenly shoot up into the air ABOVE the highest surface of the mountain then weave its way DOWN, and shoot back up and weave down again. You know, we must have watched that light do that for at least thirty minutes and, to this day, still cannot explain what we saw. After about an hour or so my sister and went inside and didn't think too much more about the strange light.

Then I found your report and, just maybe, this fits.

So now you have it. It's the best that I can recall of the details. I can so vividly remember that light shooting up and weaving down, and the funny feeling I had when I realized that was certainly not a helicopter, nor a dirt or mountain bike. It was something that I couldn't rationalize and, after a while, I stopped thinking about it. I'm not even sure how I found your report as I certainly wasn't looking for it.

Perhaps you can come up with a sane explanation, as I surely cannot. Thank you.

Thank you to the witness for a very interesting sighting report.

Vancouver, British Columbia Object/UFO Makes Unusual Maneuvers High In The Sky

Posted: February 29, 2008

Date: 2004 (Approx:)
Time: 1:00 a.m.

Location of Sighting: Vancouver B.C.
Number of witnesses: 0
Number of objects: 1
Shape of objects: Spherical light.

Full Description of event/sighting: I had looked out my window on a very clear night to see northern lights that were only briefly visible. The big dipper hung upright outside my kitchen window, the handle pointed straight down. I was immediately struck by the extra star in the lower handle of the dipper. I grew up in Vernon, B.C. where throughout my youth I'd watched the skies with a clarity you don't see in other areas. This star had never been in the handle before. It was not quite the intensity of the others but bright. It had a reddish hue, unlike the others had a slightly diffused glow that appeared as an almost orb like effect around the central point of light it originated from. I knew it did not belong there. In moments I began to notice it had moved off to left of the handle. It continued to move circling at first away from the handle then back again into the handle, now much near the top of it. It completed a full circle back to the bottom of the handle near it's original point, that encompassed about 3/4 of the handles length (a pretty large area of sky.)

Movement of this object in this almost perfect circle was however oddly jerky. It appeared to move in increments of distance that were uneven both in length, i.e.: shorter and longer movements and in direction seeming to adjust back to 0, the circuit it was trying to maintain. All of this is of course very difficult to distinguish at whatever elevation and distance it was, but clear enough to be visible to the naked eye at times. When it reached and passed the bottom of the handle continuing in a circular pattern it had sufficiently slowly fade in brightness that it became increasingly harder to see until I could no longer see it. The total time was about 5 minutes. I had the very distinct impression that it had slowly spiraled upward away from me and so becoming dimmer. Somewhere I have record of the date which I'm trying to find.

Thank you to the witness for their report.

Grande Prairie, Alberta Star-Like Object Maneuvers Strangely

Posted: January 17, 2008

Date: April 28, 2006 Time: Approx: 1:00 a.m.

Message: At approximately 1:00 am on Wednesday April 28th while star gazing at a local gravel pit in Grande Prairie Alberta. Three of my friends and I were witness to a slow moving (star like) light. It appeared in the south west sky along side of a constellation.

Then it wavily moved towards the south sky and dipped in a vertical and horizontal motion and dimmed out. The full motion in my field of view was approximately four or five inches . Not sure exactly what we saw but I thought it might be of some interest to yourself. I have never seen anything like this in my life. I am a 24 year old Graphic designer who recently moved to GP from Toronto. I have a visual representation drawn on computer. The movement is not quite accurate but the motion was very similar. I can email it if you are interested. The object was a star like oblique object. No larger than a star though. So determining a shape was hard.

Thank you to the witness for the report.

Terrace, British Columbia Very Unusual Light Making Strange Maneuvers

Posted: January 14, 2008

Date: December 17, 2005 Time: Evening

Report taken by telephone.

A lady from Terrace, British Columbia called to file a report after she read an article in the Terrace Standard newspaper. The witness was thinking quick enough to grab a camera and took a photo of the object. (the witness is going to dig the photo up and will send it along to me) She said her camera wasn't the best, but what shows up in the picture is a ball of white colored light with a tail following behind it. Her impression of what this light was, was a spotlight moving through the night sky, and at one point the light sat stationary for a period of time. Then the object would "shoot" across the sky to another point over Terrace, and then return to it's original stationary spot in the sky. The object was in the sky for such a long period of time, the witness has time to run into the store and tell people to go outside to watch what was happening in the sky.

The lady also stated that when the object moved from one spot in the sky to another point, it moved from one location to another in a split second. Plus keep in mind, the object was traveling a good distance. Not a sound could be heard from the object. It was also at a good altitude according to the eyewitness.

She also mentioned that it appeared to look like a ball of light, then as it moved and zig zagged through the night sky, then a tail was noticeable. It also moved up and down at times.

Also, more than one witness to the strange event.

Thank you to the witness for the report.

Kamloops British Columbia UFOs Making Unusual Maneuvers

Posted: January 14, 200

Date: November 9, 2005 Time: 4:00 a.m.

Dear Brian, I was up on the internet late and went for a stretch on my deck and to catch some cool fresh winter air. I noticed three ships right away in the North East direction...all near Mt Paul in Kamloops, BC. Then all of a sudden one scooped downward like the loop in a J form. The form of the loop of the J was the size of 1.5 x the mountain size in length and it was not a quick action but a floating weightless type of movement angling away from Mt Paul itself. I thought oola nice, huge smile and then it blinked out...was not a fast movement and extremely noticeable. I smiled and under my breath said "welcome" while wondering if the speed was deliberate to ensure being seen.... When it blinked out it would have been about 200 ft above ground. It was over an area where there is natural thermal heating in the ground. As it made this slow long scoop shape it never faded or streaked or sped up..just floated in a controlled manner.

Took me off guard; I quite enjoyed this lovely surprise. Could not be mistaken for a falling star...was slow, noticeable, deliberate. Pure delight and the smile is still on my face. Somehow I sensed many more than the 5 or so ships that predominated the sky that night. I also knew there were be no further events that morning. I clearly understood that somehow there was no need to hang around in consideration of a further event. In retrospect I realize that this knowingness, in itself, was interesting. To some degree there is a sense of knowing; of just watching the events unfolding over time now. The knowingness has a simple peace to it.

Thank you to the witness for the report.

Keremeos, British Columbia Bright Light Makes Unusual Maneuvers

Posted: January 14, 2008

Date: October 7, 2005 Time: Varies

Number of witnesses: 2 Number of objects: 1 Shape of objects: Like a super bright star.

Full Description of event/sighting: The time was around 8:00 ish, once just north east of Hope B.C. I saw a very bright light over a mountain to our left while driving the Hope Princeton Highway and I wrote it off as a cell tower on mountain. My lady friend and myself saw it, one and a half hours later. It was between Princeton and Keremeos. It was the same thing and it was as if it was following us. It just hung over the mountain ridges as we drove. We took a motel in Keremeos for the night and on my walk, meditation, I saw it in the distance come over the mountains.

The super bright star and I thought it was a 737 jet with its landing lights on, getting ready to land in Penticton which was 30 or 40 miles away. It did some absolutely astounding maneuvers, turns so tight that no jet could do and it messed around for several minutes above me. I called my lady friend from the suite and she confirmed it was the same one we had seen earlier and then it parked in the sky above our heads, at maybe 5000 feet. We sat and watched until we got bored and went to bed. It took several minutes to come over the mountainous horizon and did some maneuvers. I have never seen any plane do that and it parked in the night sky with a halo around it until we went to bed. I really thought it was a West Jet 737 on approach to Penticton Airport until it did the crazy stuff and the park job.

Thank you to the witness for the report.
