Cluster Of Around 12 Strange Lights Seen Over Cloverdale British Columbia

Date:  December 22, 2011
Time:  Evening.

Brian, on the evening of December 22, 2011 my husband and I were up late wrapping Christmas presents (no we were not drinking either!) when he got up to let our dogs out. He started yelling for me to come outside and "see this".

We stood in our backyard facing south near 64th and 168th Street in Cloverdale and watched a cluster of strange lights travel across the sky. I could see at least a dozen at one point. They came from the east and slowly moved west.

We watched them for two or three minutes. The clouds were low lying that evening, so we knew that whatever was in the sky was flying low, but strangely enough we heard nothing. There was silence.

We live close to the flight path and frequently hear planes on their way to and from YVR, even when we cannot see the lights of those aircraft, we can hear them.
The lights were too close together to be planes or helicopters. It was eerie to say the least and I wanted to notify someone, but thought I would sound like a lunatic to the authorities. It was strange enough for me to tell a few people to the next day, but no one I spoke with had seen it.

If I had been alone I would have thought I had been seeing things. I was relieved to see the sighting in the paper yesterday, but it still leaves me with an uneasy feeling. Up until that night, I would not have believed in UFO's, but I feel nothing else describes it.

My husband has suggested that it was a practice run for next years Mayan Calendar prediction. I guess only time will tell.
A Cloverdale BC Resident.

Around 12 Large Glowing Lights Over Strathcona Park Lodge Campbell River British Columbia

Date: August 6, 2011
Time: Approx: 11:00 p.m.

Saturday night, August 6th, 2011 we returned to the lodge around 11:00 PM. We noticed three large glowing objects in the sky at about 5 thousand feet up.

They moved very slow, but not all at the same speed. When they came overhead where we were standing, the light went out and they were gone. We saw at least a dozen of these objects and they all did the same thing as they got over us.

The light diminished and they were gone. It was a very calm clear night and there was no noise at all from the objects. I have never seen anything like this in my life. It would be nice to know if anyone else saw them or what it was. The four of us were quite in awe.

12 Golden Lights Over Splashpad Park Off Pond Mills Road Ontario

Date: July 1, 2010
Time: Approx: 9:30 - 10:00 p.m.

Location of Sighting: Splashpad park off Pond Mills Road.
Number of witnesses: 7
Number of Objects: 11-12
Shape of Objects: Round.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: My son and I were lighting off fireworks for Canada Day at a nearby park. We could see and hear other fireworks going off as well. In the park there are 2 baseball diamonds and we were at one and there were 2 teenagers lighting their own fireworks. They had lit all they had and had ambled over to where we were lighting ours. Off to our left, there were 3 people who were sitting down and enjoying our little firework demonstration. We had paused in our lighting of our fireworks because some of them had to have their wicks peeled off of some tape and because we had brought just a small flashlight along and it took us some time to do.

As I mentioned, we could see and hear other fireworks as well, when I happened to look up at the sky I noticed about a dozen golden coloured lights in the sky. I thought at first, that maybe someone had gone all out and had bought a professionally prepared firework as opposed to the $25 kit that we had. But, I noticed that while I could still see the and hear the other fireworks, these lights were something different. They were gliding in the air almost in some sort of formation with 1 or 2 in the lead position and 3 rows of 3 following, with 1 or 2 bringing up the rear.

They were gliding with no noise, as I said, we could hear the other fireworks, but these lights made no noise. They were also gliding together and never varied their distance in relation to each other. We all stopped and said to each other, Do you see that? What is that? I have no idea, Does anyone have a camera?. We all were amazed at these lights, there was no smoke coming off them, they were not on fire and they were moving slowly so we got a good look at them. Then they winked out, a few at a time, still moving slowly and together, until we couldn't see them anymore. A very odd experience and I wish I had a camera!

12 Or 14 Orange Lights Over Whitby Ontario

Date: May 22, 2010
Time: Approx: 9:30 p.m. or 10:00 p.m.

Location of Sighting: Whitby Ontario.
Number of witnesses: 2
Number of Objects: 12-14 maybe more.
Shape of Objects: Red Lights (circles).

Full Description of Event/Sighting: Do you have any reports of orange lights in the sky over Toronto on Saturday, May 22, 2010?

My husband and I saw about 12 or 14 of orange lights over the course of a half hour. They at first appeared to be planes taking off from Pearson International Airport, but they were not the usual red and white flashing lights, were too close together, in a perfect line, travelling too fast for a commercial plane.

The first few appeared to fly directly over Durham region before heading above the clouds. The next ones that continued for at least another fifteen minutes appeared to be above Toronto and we could see then move directly up above the clouds quite quickly.

I would love to hear your thoughts and if anyone else can provide any feedback.
