I have just come in from, you guessed it, watching fire-works and I also saw a red light moving across the sky.
I'm in central Alberta, Canada and it’s just past midnight on New Years 2013.
I couldn't gauge the altitude. At first I thought it was an airplane, but as it drew nearer I noticed there was no blinking and no sound. I am a pilot and know an aircraft when I see one.
This was no aircraft. Not one that I could fly anyway. Interesting that the common theme to these sightings is fire-works. Hmmm.
If you have seen anything like this in the same area please be kind enough to contact Brian Vike at: sighting@telus.net with the details of your sighting. All personal information is kept confidential.
Also, please feel free to send in your sightings that have happened years ago. So many of these older sightings are nothing short of amazing.

We saw them in Fort Saskatchewan AB @ around midnight.
ReplyDeleteWe saw it here in Devon UK too waliking home - was just after midnight ! ! Again solid red light, no noise and it was moving fast too - then just disappeared. Was with 4 other people who also saw it, suggested was chinese lanterns, but was not a candle light, plus the wind was going other direction as we also saw chinese lanterns.
