Loud Boom Shakes Home In Brampton Ontario (No Explanation)

Date:  October 6, 2012
Time:  Night time.

Dear Brian Vike, I live in Brampton, Ontario, Canada (near Toronto), on Saturday October 6th, 2012 I was in bed with my sleeping 22 month old son and I heard a very loud boom sound (best description a sonic boom), the widows rattled and I felt the house move.

It was such a strange feeling I had. I had no idea what it was. I was worried about my Mother (63 with MS), that she may have fallen in her bathroom and was hurt.

However, I knew that did not make any sense. Her falling could not have made the widows rattle and shake, nor the house move. I heard her a few minutes later moving around and then knew that I was correct. The sound was not her and she was okay.

The next morning while we were having breakfast my Mother asked if my son or I had fallen out of bed. I answered, "no, why?" She then told me about the loud boom she heard.

I told her that I heard it too and thought that it was her, but that didn't make any sense.

She interrupted me and told me that the walls of the house shook. I was somewhat surprised that she experienced the same thing as me.

My Mother then had me go check around the outside of the house, inside the house and in the garage for something very heavy that may have fallen to cause the noise. I found nothing out of place. Nothing had fallen, nothing was broken.

My Father, had been in Waterloo helping my brother finish his basement. When he got home my Mother told him this story. He then checked the entire house, just like I did earlier Sunday morning. He found nothing.

When he was finished and said that we may have heard a sonic boom. That was when I remembered hearing a sonic boom sound on the television a long time ago. I am sure that it was not a sonic boom. It was something else.

At that time, I remembered reading and hearing on the radio, Coast to Coast that other people in cities in the United States had experienced hearing and feeling extremely loud booms at night.

Tonight, I did a search on the internet for a sonic boom type sound in Brampton, Toronto, Mississauga and the GTA (Greater Toronto Area) on October 6th, 2012 and came up with nothing. I did however, find your website.

A little background about me;  I am 36 years old, recently separated from my abusive husband two months ago and in fantastic physical, mental and emotional health. No depression (the separation is a very good thing), I am not under a great deal of stress, etc. Sincerely.

If you have seen anything like this in the same area please be kind enough to contact Brian Vike at: sighting@telus.net with the details of your sighting. All personal information is kept confidential.

Also, please feel free to send in your sightings that have happened years ago. So many of these older sightings are nothing short of amazing.

Trail British Columbia Jet Aircraft (?) Shakes Homes And Frightens Residents

Posted: February 4, 2008

Brian Vike arrived home from being out of town to some media messages which were left on my answering machine. On Sunday night, June 17, 2007 at approximately 11:10 p.m. the residents of Trail, British Columbia were woken up by the loud roaring of what everyone believes to be a jet engine/aircraft. Whatever was making the sound, people thought the craft was either landing in their back yards or possibly crash landing in the river. To everyone's amazement no explanation was ever given for this unusual event. KBS Radio out of Trail British Columbia was all over the case calling the local airport, military in both Canada and the United States and so far everyone contacted over this says they know nothing.

Of course I find this a bit to weird as the airport should have known something as reports flooded in from Trail, B.C. residents. The sound was reported to have shaken peoples homes and people ran outside to see what was going on, but nothing from airport or military officials. Also I spoke to the local Trail newspaper and I was told they are running a small story on this event in the newspaper today, Friday June 22, 2007.

If anyone heard the loud sound over Trail B.C. on Sunday night, June 17, 2007 would you please contact Brian Vike, either through the HBCC UFO Research website, or call 250 845 2180. Please, please note that the phone number given here is my personal phone number and it is "ONLY" for folks who wish to file a sighting report or the media to use to contact me. So again, the phone number given is for reporting the Trail, BC sighting, or any other UFO sighting from another location.

Thank you, Brian Vike Director of HBCC UFO Research.
