Sasquatch Maybe In The Area 80 Miles Northwest Of Prince Albert Saskatchewan

Brian Vike's Favorite Cases.

Date:  August 16, 2012

Time:  12:30 p.m.

Hi Brian, I have been listening to you on Rense for many years and am always interested in the reports here in Canada.

I don’t want you to give out my name, but would like to tell you about something that is ongoing.

We have a place 80 miles North West of Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. There are trails that I groom for a small resort.

On Thursday August 16, 2012 I was mowing one of the trails that is about 3 kilometers in the bush away from the resort, there are not many people around here and a great deal of government land for many kilometers.

On the one section of trail I kept hearing noises above the sound of the lawn mower, at the same time got the feeling that I was being watched.

I stopped several times to look around thinking that there might be a deer, moose or more importantly a bear around, but I never saw anything and kept mowing.

I came across several young trees about an inch to a inch and a half thick that had been broken between 6 and 7 foot level. Initially I thought it was a moose or elk passing by, but later changed my mind.

I had been mowing for several hours, it was 12:30 p.m. so I parked the mower on the trail and walked back to my cabin for lunch, about 50 minutes later I came back.

Where I had parked my mower there was a young tree freshly snapped at the 7 foot height.

I know this was not broken before because I was working on that trail and the way the tree was broken, it came across the trail making it necessary to duck in order to pass.

This was within 3 feet of my mower at that point. I started looking carefully for more broken trees, I saw several, some fresh and some a day or more old, it was only in that area though, along that section of trail.

At that point I still was not sure what was doing this, I know no human was on the path during that time, and after experimenting with some other trees came to the conclusion that it wasn’t an Elk or Moose. I could take a similar size tree and bend it to the ground and the tree would spring back up with no harm done.

I checked the trees for antler scrapes or claw marks, but found none. At this point I started thinking the only way to break a tree in this fashion would require something resembling a hand in order to brace the tree and another hand to pull it down and snap it.

That evening I put up a trail cam, but only caught a small doe and her fawn. I intend to do more, but was leaving the next day and won’t be back for a couple of weeks.

After going on the internet and seeing what signs there were where Sasquatch were suspected, I recall a couple more things that at the time I ignored. With the broken trees and sounds, I also smelt an odor that at the time I put off to a skunk, it was a little different smell but close enough.

I even remarked that the smell had moved from where I had smelt it in the morning when I took my son on the trails in the evening. Also I had come across an area where several branches had been piled against a tree in a crude shelter.

I had put it off to kids playing and that still could be the case. In the past my dog would at times freeze and not continue any further, the thought that maybe a Lynx, Wolf or Coyote was nearby and she was scared and we usually headed back to the cabin.

We hear Coyotes and Wolves most nights, sometimes very close. On the trail that evening she froze and didn’t want to continue, with a little coaxing she continued, but stayed by my side and didn’t go on ahead like she normally does.

When I get back I will be putting the trail cam back up and taking some pictures.

Thank you to the witness for the report.
