Date: September 23, 2010
Time: 11:30 p.m.
Location of Sighting: Edson Alberta.
Number of witnesses: 2
Number of Objects: 1
Shape of Objects: Beam of light.
Full Description of Event/Sighting: Hello Brian, well here we go again. I have seen strange things in the skies almost every night now, though the number of the objects have been steadily decreasing since mid August. I was getting ready for bed and went out for my last smoke when I gazed to the NNW and couldn't believe my eyes.
I caught the whole thing on video and got my mother-in-law out of bed to witness this too. It was just a glowing reddish orange beam of light. I'm estimating over the farm land a couple of kilometers north of town, probably over the farmers fields, near the radio towers. The beam of light was hovering? In the clouds I don't think it was the northern lights, though I may be wrong. It seems to be more like a fire in the sky if you can believe that one. Anyway have a look and tell me what you think.

Egg Shaped UFOs Seen At Canmore Alberta (Chinaman's Peak)
Date: September 25, 2010
Time: 10:38 p.m.Location of Sighting: Canmore Alberta (Chinaman's Peak).
Number of witnesses: 1
Number of Objects: 1 then 6.
Shape of Objects: Egg/flowing.
Full Description of Event/Sighting: Below is a statement from my husband that he reported to an Alberta UFO study group and I wanted to share with you as well. He is a pilot and began seeing these things weeks ago. He ignored it at first, but has been seeing them now from the ground almost daily and now he is concerned. Last night while on the phone with me below is what he witnessed and I told him to report it.
He feels almost like they are showing up near his locations wherever he is at the time. Anyways, his description tells me that they may be going into the old mine tunnels that were built in the 1800's at the base of Chinaman's Peak mountain as that's where they travelled to. These tunnels go for miles and are very deep and no longer used. Perhaps something to look into? He doesn't have a camera/video on his phone, but on his next trip there he will be bringing one to get this stuff on tape. Below is his statement.
Report:
"I noticed one bright (magnesium flame intensity) object at first, and always out of peripheral vision. I could not look at it directly as it always seemed to disappear. I saw this object five times within 10 minutes. It almost felt like I was being monitored. I then sat quietly on a bench to have a cigarette, and while sitting and chatting on the phone I noticed several objects moving down the mountain.
It was like watching an animal that didn't know you were watching them. They were moving from South to North as well as a 45 Degree downward angle while following a contoured decent towards the old mine site to the west of town. I estimate their size to be about the same as a minivan. I could not see any definable shape other than egg shape or a flowing shape. They didn't have any bright lights, and there was no noise generated."

Bright Light Over Peachland British Columbia
Date: September 28, 2010
Time: 7:30 p.m.
Location of Sighting: Peachland BC Canada
Number of witnesses: 2
Number of Objects: 1 at a time.
Shape of Objects: Non-descript.
Full Description of Event/Sighting: It was a clear warm night and the sky was just getting dark. There were a few stars visible along with planets. I looked directly up and saw a steady white sharp light moving fairly low from north to south and lasted about 30 seconds before it slowly became smaller and more dim. It then cloaked out.
I was then even more intrigued and searched the sky when I was looking east over Okanagan Lake, I saw a bright light moving for a brief moment. I thought it was just a plane but then it disappeared right away. Could of been the same one. These types are quite common here. They seem to drift and of course are silent. Thanks for your interest.

Bright Star Like Object Over Beaumont Alberta
Date: September 23, 2010
Time: 8:17 p.m.Location of Sighting: Beaumont Alberta.
Number of witnesses: 2
Number of Objects: 1
Shape of Objects: Round.
Full Description of Event/Sighting: As my boyfriend and I drove back to Beaumont (from Edmonton) we approached Beaumont as we neared town I noticed off to the left of the vehicle (where the north star usually is, this is what we thought it was) a very bright "star-like" object and we thought it was the North Star, but, I thought it was way brighter than usual so I kept staring at it.
The "star" appeared to be not that far from the ground, but high enough in the sky for onlookers to think it was a star. We pulled into Tim Horton's to get a late in the day coffee and as we were leaving we looked up to see that this "star" was gone. It left a very unsettling feeling in me and I want to know if anyone else saw it?
Description: "star like" almost orange, bright, round in shape.

Bright Orange Light Comes To A Hover Over Steenburg Lake Gilmour Ontario
Date: September 5, 2010
Time: Approx: 9:30 p.m.
I was on-line trying to find any information on a strange sighting and came across your webpage asking for any reporting's, so I’d thought I’d share my story with you. My husband and I were stargazing in our hot-tub on Sunday, September 5th, 2010 at our Steenburg lake cottage in Gilmour, Ontario.
It was about 9:30 at night and it was a remarkably starry night. I noticed a bright orange red object through the tree line and commented to my husband how bright that plane was.
When it cleared the tree line, it was obviously bright orange with a very fuzzy edge. It was like looking at a traffic light. It was about the size of a full moon and travelling east extremely slowly and actually stopped and hovered for a minute or two. It didn’t take us long to realize that this was not a plane or anything familiar. It began moving slowly again and dropped down below the tree line out of sight.
I have to be honest and tell you that I was quite scared. I have no concept of how near or far it was as it was so bright, I had no concept of distance. There was no noise. We posted a message on our cottage lake association and got one response back from some one else that saw the same thing. We have not connected yet to swap stories. I have been amazed at the number of similar sightings on line. Any thoughts? Thanks.

Moricetown British Columbia Investigation Of Unknown Event
I did go to Moricetown, British Columbia on Friday, September 24, 2010 after receiving a phone call from a lady on the Thursday. Whatever happened in Moricetown, it took place on Tuesday 21, 2010.
The reason why I was contacted so late was, they did not know who to contact until a friend of the lady who called gave her my phone number and she called.
I will have a full report on this, along with photos coming over the next week. From what I saw, and from what I was told by the owners of the property and others who lives in the area, also hearing about odd lights being seen in and around the area for about a week.
I now wonder if this event is more UFO related. The foot prints/tracks whatever one might call them as it was rather hard to see them due to the time period from finding these tracks and until I got there. Plus something else odd, which I have pictures for, an area of tall thistles were bent over and touching the ground, many others were bent over, but broken. This covered an area of 30 feet by 60 feet, everything else around the down tall plants were standing upright.
Anyway, a strange case. Something else, we lost alot of evidence due to the heaviest rainfall we have had for months. I was glad the folks thought to cover up one small area with some bits of plywood. So some interesting stuff coming this week sometime.
Take care
