HBCC UFO Research Note: The information below came from a person helping out on this case who wrote to the Kelowna Airport Operations Manager.
Hi, thanks for the e-mail. We had a few calls about this one. It was a NATO aircraft, a modified Boeing 707, but what they were doing in our neck of the woods, I'm not sure. They did two fly over's of the airport, then went on their way, never actually landing here.
Sorry I don't have any additional information on that flight, but with military aircraft, we're not really privy too their operations or plans.

Ottawa, Ontario Silvery Domed Object

Date: July 17, 2007 Time: Around 5:45 - 6:00 a.m.
What a beautiful morning! I was up very early, unlike usual, at 5:00 a.m. this morning. I was very excited about Firing the grid with the millions of people that participated to this world wide event.
I hopped on my bike and headed to the baseline station that would be bring me to the closest station to St-Paul University. After putting my bike on the Bus Rack, we are on our way to Lees station.
But something very strange happened on the bus this morning, as we got out of the shadows cast by the trees past Queensway station, I saw a small domed silvery object, up in the sky, at about 35%, an estimated distance of 2 kilometers. That object was stationary, and was reflecting the sun. It was in the south direction. The sun was shining on its surface with a very bright golden color. Just as I crossed the Carling street bridge before reaching Lincoln Field station I lost sight of it for 2 seconds. Quickly scanning the sky, the object was gone. No traces of it in the sky. The object had no wings, no tail, no lights and was dome shaped. This all happened at around 5:45am - 6:00am. This was the 3rd time I saw similar object in the Ottawa region. This sighting lasted about 12 seconds.
This is the 3rd time I see a similar object in Ottawa, in the last 6 weeks, but never so close and well defined.
As I was pondering this event, I arrived to the Lees station and dropped my bike to head to St-Paul University and meet with the rest of the people gathering for Fire The Grid.

Ontario, Canada Major UFO Sighting In Late August 1987 (Multiple UFOs)

Date: Late August 1987 Time: Evening.
HBCC UFO Research Note: As you will read below, a very nice lady wrote to me wanting to share her experience with me, so I called the lady up this morning, Thursday, July 19, 2007 at 9:00 a.m. and had a very long talk with her over the experience she and others had one evening back in late August of 1987. I will be writing up a full report on the ladies sighting/experience as soon as I can. I know you will find this just fascinating as I did. There were multiple UFOs seen this one night.
Also to all the visitors to my website, as you will notice the sighting took place many years ago. But still so many people don't think it important for what ever reason to file their sightings that happened many years back. Please realize, that know matter when your sighting experience took place in, your report is so very important and I would urge you to write up a report on the event. With everyone's help, maybe one day we just might get closer to finding some answers and even find others who witnessed the same as yourself. So please do file your sighting reports know matter when the event took place.
Full Description of event/sighting: Dear Brian, I have wanted to contact you for several years now with my story, and after listening to a few of your recent interviews with Jeff Rense (over and over again), I have decided to finally try and make contact. My story is quite long and I don't think I can do it justice in my writing on this page. If you have any free time, please feel free to call me. Ottawa, Ontario Aviation Parkway Bright Light Flys Off At Fast Rate Of Speed

Date: Various times. (February or early March 2007) - (Also sightings in 2006) Time: Usually between 10:00 pm and 2:00 am
Location of Sighting: Ottawa: Aviation Parkway between Sussex Dr and Montreal rd (near Orleans). Number of witnesses: 2-4 Number of objects: 1 Shape of objects: Small softball like light.
Full Description of event/sighting: Me and a couple of my friends usually take the aviation parkway pretty much 7 days a week usually during the hours of 10pm and 2am. A few times we have noticed unusual things in the sky.
For starters I for one do believe in UFO's and such, but my other friends were not, at first.
While driving down the parkway, on a semi cloudy night, we noticed what at first looked like a really bright star, but after a few moments of just standing still, the light suddenly took off in the right direction at an incredible amount of speed, my friend who was driving , could not believe the speed it went as he tried to keep up for a while going nearly 100 kmph, but after a while it just disappeared out of sight. This happened last summer at some point, mid June. Oddly enough, this first sighting happened almost directly above the aviation museum itself.
Since then, we have noticed other event similar to this one, in fact 3 other times since.
I'm glad I found this site to talk about this and to see if anyone else might have seen something similar.

Whitby, Ontario A Translucent White Triangular Craft

Date: July 21, 2007 Time: 11:00 p.m.
Location of Sighting: Whitby, Ontario. Number of witnesses: 2 Number of objects: 1 Shape of objects: Triangle.
Full Description of event/sighting: We were at a BBQ and enjoying the clear nights' sky. An image came traveling over the house, from east to west and moving very quickly. I was trying to get the attention of the people, but I froze and by the time I could speak, it was already a fading image and was quite far away. Only one other person caught the image, but it was already so far away.
The image appeared as a fast traveling triangle. It was a whitish color, almost faded looking and had 3 lights on each point of the triangle. It appeared almost translucent. It was traveling so quickly and it went from east to west within seconds and then just faded away. When I first saw the image, I was looking at the bottom of it as it traveled above me.
Then it traveled west and I saw the image turn into more of a line, like a side image. I can only describe it like a kite above me, but then like the side image of a kite as it traveled away form me. The size was much larger than anything I have ever seen in the sky. It did not look at all like a plane or a fireball or satellite. It seemed very close to the house but then at the same time, so far away as it was somewhat blurry. Like I said, I have never seen anything like this or been so taken away by what I saw. It was a once in a life time thing I am sure. It just happened so fast.
Additional Information:
Q. - Roughly how long were you able to watch the object for ?
A. - About 5-10 seconds.
Q. - If you were to compare it to a normal aircraft seen everyday, what size do you believe this may have been ? As large as a 747 or smaller, etc. ?
A. - Alot larger.
Q. - Why did you lose sight of the craft, due to buildings, tress, etc or just watched it fade away in the distance ?
A. - It faded out of the sky, as it disappeared it looked more like a horizontal line with lights on either end. It was moving in a downwards, sideways zig zag.
Q. - Was there any sound at all noted ?
A. - Nothing.
Q. - Were you able to see any structure at all on the craft ? Any features at all ?
A.- It appeared almost translucent, whitish in color. It had a light on each corner of the triangle. The shape was triangular, and had a whitish sort of aura around the entire image.
Q. - Did the lights blink or flash at any time ?
A. - No !
It was moving quickly, so it was hard to notice any detail, not to mention the fact that I was completely taken off guard when I noticed it. By the time I realized it was something so strange, it had already moved across the sky. I just know that it was something I have never seen before, and I am having a hard time comparing it to anything else. It did not look like an aircraft, it was too big and moving way too quickly. It was the size of a kite when you are looking at a kite 10 feet above you. But, obviously it was further away. If you could imagine that scale though. Like I said I just can't explain it properly.
