Full Description of event/sighting: I was with my family and my brother in law noticed a little spec in the sky that looked like a star almost directly over our heads, but it was still daylight and so it looked strange that there would be a star visible directly overhead in broad daylight. It was white and small and was not moving. I looked at it the whole time and when it vanished into thin air. I saw it and so did my sister in law. It vanished like an explosion. Some sort of clear substance was projected from the white ball all around it and then it was gone. Like a force field. Seems pretty star trek to me. It's hard to know what it was, but I've never seen anything like it.

Fort Garry, Winnipeg, Manitoba A Bright Object Accelerates

Date: July 30, 2007 Time: 10:45 p.m.
Location of Sighting: Fort Garry, Winnipeg, Manitoba. Number of witnesses: 1 Number of objects: 1 Shape of objects: Circular.
Full Description of event/sighting: Just looking out across the Red River in a south-westerly direction with a friend. There was a full moon and very bright sky with barely any stars visible. Along the horizon at about the same level as airplanes fly, I saw a bright object accelerate and after 1 1/2 seconds simply disappear. My first thought was that it was a shooting star, except that it was a very bright sky and the object went horizontally like an aircraft and did not lose intensity of brightness until it disappeared. Had never witnessed this before. The object was the brightest object in the sky (other than the Moon). After that several airplanes passed in approximately the same flight path, but they took 10 to 20 seconds to cover the same distance that the object crossed in a second. This object made no sound whereas the airplanes went noise. I have seen many shooting stars and many satellites, but never something that shot across the sky like this.

Kitchener, Ontario Strange Lights Interact With One Another (UFO)

Location of Sighting: Out my window. Number of witnesses: 2 Number of objects: At least five. Shape of objects: Lights.
Full Description of event/sighting: A few nights ago I awoke from a particularly bad case of sleep paralysis around 3:00am when I heard the sound of several neighborhood dogs barking, something was obviously disturbing them. This lead me to look out my bedroom window to investigate. I then saw what at first appeared to be shooting stars in the sky. While I was wondering why there were so many of them or why they were so frequent, I then realized they were not shooting stars at all.
These objects would fly one direction, then suddenly turn in another. Some would hover still for a few seconds. Every now and then I'd see one "flash" then shoot off in a direction at incredible speed. I must point out that these objects did seem to be flying rather randomly. In fact, I later joked to my girlfriend "if they were aliens, well they were obviously driving drunk". The lights did however seem to occasionally "interact" with one another, flying near to each other, hovering then flying away. These lights were visible outside my window until I fell asleep at 6:00 a.m.
For the most part I heard no sound connected with the objects, although I did often hear the sound of helicopters - far more frequently then I would normally in my area. I saw a helicopter only once, it did match the description of "black helicopters" that I have read. Being somewhat of a skeptic, as well as being aware of the effects of sleep paralysis - I at first put off these lights to being hypnologic hallucination. This explanation, however was proven wrong when tonight I saw the same thing, also shortly after 3:00 a.m. This time my sighting was not following sleep and my girlfriend was over and saw them too.
Also, tonight at one point I saw a much larger and much brighter light. This light suddenly appeared in the sky, and then moved slowly to the left. I called in my girlfriend who saw it and became rather frightened. I turned to comfort her and upon me turning back, it was gone. These lights are visible outside my window now. I am aware many times alien abductions have been explained away as sleep paralysis. The fact that I had sleep paralysis before my first time witnessing these lights has me wondering if the two are in fact connected somehow.

Kelowna, British Columbia Military AWAC Flew Over Lake Corridor

HBCC UFO Research Note: Possible connection to the July 2, 2007 UFO Battle over Kelowna, British Columbia.
Normally I would never report on any thing like this, however I would like to help you research in one specific case that you are working on. My family and I were in Kelowna visiting relatives. We were having lunch at a park by Knox mountain when a Military AWAC flew very low along the lake corridor. I am an avid aviation enthusiast and this immediately sparked my interest. I grew up in Kelowna and military activity has never been observed by me so it sparked my interest. I found this occurrence very puzzling. I did not get a very good look since I saw it through the trees, however being into aviation, there is no mistaking the AWAC with its distinctive DISC on the top of the fuselage. This brings me to my long winded point. I waited a few weeks and googled "Kelowna" "AWAC" which eventually led me to your site. I saw that you are doing research and I thought it might be advantageous for you to have another eyewitness account of this aircraft flying in the area. I did not see any UFO activity. I have in the past seen on four separate occasions UFO activity so I am sympathetic to your cause. This may be a simple eyewitness account which my have little bearing on your research. Hope this helps.

Bolton, Ontario A Boomerang Shaped Object

Date: July 31, 2007 Time: 9:00 p.m.
Location of Sighting: Bolton, Ontario. Number of witnesses: 1 Number of objects: 1 Shape of objects: Boomerang.
Full Description of event/sighting: It was around 9:00 pm and my wife and I were out on the back porch. I was doing some brief star gazing, observing the constellations Cygnus, Aquila and Lyra (the summer triangle).
I was studying the stars for only a mere matter of minutes before I noticed something shooting straight through Cygnus and heading towards Lyra (actually close to Vega which is inside Lyra). It was white and grey in appearance and it had a boomerang shape to it. Almost like a banana shape and it was moving with the arc of object facing forward in it's movement. It was quite fast, much faster than any satellite and it did NOT show the sameness of a meteor flare-up. I don't know what a comet might look like if traveling through the atmosphere.
It only took about 10 seconds or more for the object to pass through the two mentioned constellations and then it simply vanished as it headed in a south/south/west (or so) direction.
It was amazing to say the least. Never saw this sort of thing before. Whether it is a UFO, I don't know, as it didn't seem to display any 'tricky' flight control. But is was fast, and did have that distinctive shape to it. Thanks.

Northeastern Sky In London Ontario Fireball

Location of Sighting: Northeastern sky in London Ontario. Number of witnesses: 1 Number of objects: 1 Shape of objects: Fireball.
Full Description of event/sighting: I was sitting out on my balcony having a cigarette when out of nowhere a fireball appeared, heading north. It looked like a fireball, and only lasted for maybe 5 seconds, and then it disappeared. I then looked in the direction it was traveling, and saw it again, only much smaller, just like a normal star, except it was the same orange color. I saw it again for another 5 seconds roughly, and then it just faded away.
