Message: Hi Brian: We live in Nanaimo British Columbia and we were northbound on the Island Highway this evening at about 8:45 pm when we witnessed a very bright light coming towards us just to the east and travelling in a southerly direction. I saw it first and thought it was a meteorite and I drew my husband's attention to the object. It did not have a tail. It appeared to be travelling extremely quickly, much faster than an airplane and in a straight line when all of a sudden it veered slightly east and upwards at an angle and disappeared into the clouds. It was almost dark but not quite. We pulled the car quickly over to the side of the highway and stared out the window expecting the object to appear through the cloud cover on the other side but it just disappeared. Have you heard of this from anybody else?? Who should we report this to???

Chilliwack, British Columbia Large Orange Harvest Moon Looking Object

Hi again Brian, I'm writing you again since I just read the latest hbcc postings on Rense. Much to my amazement, I pasted the report below to this email since what I saw last week has similarities the report below and the one that followed it. This took place in Chilliwack BC and I'm wondering if anyone else saw what I saw. At first I dismissed what I saw as a hallucination or my eyes playing tricks on me since the event was but a brief moment in time, but the posting below and the one that followed it took away all doubt. I'm trying to reconstruct the event and time as I did not take it seriously at the time so I did not record it in my daily journal. Near the end of the workday about 4:30 PM Monday August 22, 2005 I was loading up a company truck preparing for the next work day.
After the truck was loaded I went to park it at the back of our lot where the company vehicles are stored in our compound. I just happened to look at the back of our building (through the windshield) as I was parking and noticed what looked like a large orange harvest moon low in the sky visible just above the roofline of our building. At the time I was startled at the odd sight as it was late August not late October and late afternoon not evening. I went about locking up the truck and went to look again at the odd sight and was just as surprised as I was to have seen it in the first place by the fact that it was no longer there. I actually walked to the side of our building for a look so that the building did not obstruct my view in case it had set lower on the horizon. It could not see it anymore, it did not re-appear and I was not looking at it the moment it disappeared.

South Shore of Montreal Commercial Airliners Appearing To Look Unusual

Hello, I am located in the Montreal region. On August 22, I went outside at 7:00 pm to mow the lawn. There were no clouds in the sky. I heard the sound of a small plane motor and looked up. There was one of those "lighter than air" little propeller planes - those ones that have colorful wings like kites.
I took a glance at it, but was immediately surprised that - just above it - there was a strange looking object. It looked like two old artillery shells back to back with a space between them. At first, I thought it must be a plane that I was not seeing clearly. But, no matter how long I glanced at it, I could see no wings or other details. Just the two shells with a space between them.
It moved in a straight line in a "corridor" usually used by planes. So I was suspicious nonetheless that the "other-wordly" appearance might be an illusion.
I ran inside to get my camera, but when I arrived it was already very far and the two pictures I took only showed a dot of light. I was a bit frustrated to have missed that and put the camera back inside the house.
However, just as I went back outside, I glanced up at the sky and - to my astonishment - here was ANOTHER object exactly like the first at my right, exactly where I had seen the first and following the same trajectory. This time, my camera was at the ready, so I went and picked it up just next to the front door and started shooting. I took several pictures.
I did not know what to think of this but called a friend who is very knowledgeable of planes and told him what had happened. I said I wondered if the position of the sun could make the body of a commercial plane look that way while making the wings look invisible. I took a look at the pictures and they showed what I had seen...
But then, after the chatting, I went back outside to mow the lawn. Sure enough, within five minutes, I heard the sound of a jet plane. I looked up and here was that same or similar object in the sky. Hearing the plane sound, however, made me think that what I saw earlier may have been planes too - even though I could not hear a plane sound in the first two instances.
Anyhow, I took more pictures. Then I saw two more, one right behind the other, which I thought was strange for commercial airplanes, but there was a plane sound this time also.
Yesterday, I was outside at 6:30 pm and saw identifiable commercial planes taking the same route. They were identifiable because I had binoculars this time and could tell they were planes. Also, even without binoculars, I could see the wings.
I still need to see planes in the same lighting condition at the same time of day with the same cloudless sky to see if planes WILL turn out looking like the two shells with a space in the middle.
That time, I'll be ready with binoculars.
This evening, the friend I had told my story to mentioned there was an article in the Montreal Mirror on UFOs. I checked the article on the web and a link eventually lead me to your site. I decided to check the recent sightings page and looked at some reports that featured pictures. It didn't take long that I came across the Keefer article page and saw the description and picture and video identical to what I saw.
Problem is that I still am of the opinion that what I saw and photographed may be nothing more unusual than commercial airliners lit in such a way as to look "other wordly".
I have attached a few of my pictures that are highly cropped from the originals. You will see the surprising similarity between my pictures and the one on your Keefer page. I don't know if they are the same type of object, but I found it uncanny to come across this page only two weeks after making a similar sighting - that I described in near identical terms and that records on film similarly.
Note that all the pictures show a second object in the distance, which I believe is the first object I had originally sighted.
My main interest is to try and photograph planes at the exact time and location these photos were made to see if they will come out looking the same. Also, some pictures I took I now believe may show signs of wings... I am delayed in trying to make similar observations because of my sprained muscle in my left arm that has been aching acutely in the last two weeks and also because I have not yet encountered these exact weather condition on a day I was able to check for it.

Yes, well this is the very page I visited this evening and saw the object identical-looking and same description as what I saw and photographed.
I did not have time to view all the video clips on the above page but watched the first one that shows the actual object.
Of course, I would be curious to see any other updates and maybe photos made of similar objects by other people. As I mentioned, I believe that what I saw and photographed may be a commercial airliner, so I would need to see something really uncanny about the Keefer object behaviour to make me reconsider.
One problem I had about my sighting was that the object moved in a straight line and at a speed one would expect of a plane. So nothing uncanny besides the appearance of the object... And that seems to match the Keefer description (so far as I know) If the object were to stop in mid-air, now that would be quite another matter !

Northern Alberta (85kms From Peace River) A Bright Light

Last Thursday on August 25th, 2005 my boyfriend (name removed) and I and my aunt (name removed) took advantage of the nice warm weather and clear skies and decided to do another night of star gazing. It paid off. We saw a very bright light coming from the south western part of the sky. I asked my boyfriend what time it was right away and he said it was 9:55pm. This light went behind some trees and it should have gone over them in a few seconds but it didn't. We waited and waited for it to show up because it would have come right above us or pretty close. Instead it shows up in a different location not too far from where we saw the first one about five minutes later.
It was now traveling towards east from a westerly direction. As it went it became dimmer and then finally it vanished. I was excited to say the least. However it was too far to see any detail or hear any sound. All I can say is that it looked like a star but it was much bigger and brighter. About fifteen minutes later an airplane came by from an eastern direction heading west. We could hear it and it's light were blinking. There was a definite difference on the two objects on their speed and behavior. We were out until 1:00am in the morning hoping to see something again but nothing happened. Just the usual satellites and shooting stars.

Cochrane & Lake Louise, Alberta Dark Cloud & Fireball ?

Brian a few days ago myself and girlfriend were sitting on the balcony watching the view of the mountains (our balcony view has an amazing view of the mountains) in Cochrane ,when I noticed two puffs of dark cloud in the distance, they seemed to me to be moving differently than a normal cloud would.
Now when I zoomed in to the dark clouds almost instantly the dark clouds merged together and started falling from the sky in a spectacular fireball (dark cloud on top and the fireball below). As I continued to film suddenly something silvery white broke off from the bottom of the dropping fireball. Clearly it's oval shaped, enormous with a clear black bottom. Now let me add that the bottom of the falling fireball as well had the same type of dark black bottom as if another object was waiting to be expelled from the bottom as well.
Similar to holding a roll of mentos up and letting the candy fall out the bottom. So...the object after detaching itself from the fireball not moved downward and to the right and then again it discharged another orange cloud about the length of half a pinky finger at arms length. This next orange worm-like "cloud" then "pinched" itself together into three clouds (similar to a roll of sausage's, but remained in the exact spot not drifting as the clouds were.
Then once again the object broke off the "sausage's" right side and again was by itself and proceeded to continue on until it flew into a cloud bank.

Canada at U.S.Boarder Near Creston B.C Light Stopped & Moved Erratically

Location of Sighting: Canada at U.S.boarder near Creston B.C Number of witnesses: 2 Number of objects: 1 Shape of objects: To far away to tell for sure.
Full Description of event/sighting: We were camping in our boat on the Kootenay river near the Canada and U.S. boarder. On our way home we anchored and around 9:30 we saw a bright light moving along the top of the mountain at a very high rate of speed. The light stopped and moved around erratically. This went on for about 45 minutes. The next morning we looked up at the area where we saw the bright light, and saw hi voltage power lines coming over the mountain in the area where we spotted the bright light. We talked to the Canada Border Guard and told him about our experience. He said that on one occasion he saw the same kind of light in the same vicinity.
