Towards Grouse Mountain, Vancouver B.C. Various Sightings

Posted: January 2, 2008

Date: February 2, 2005 Time: 02:00

02:00 Feb. 02,05 - was lying in bed looking out the window towards Grouse Mountain. The sky was fairly cloudy but the mountains were mainly clear revealing the lights on the ski runs. All of a sudden a large yellow flash lit up the cloud right above the mountain, appeared to be heading in a ENE direction and appeared to be a large object passing through or behind the cloud. Almost looked like a lighting bolt but colour and appearance not quite right. So I will call it an unknown.

18:00 to 19:00 Feb. 06,05 - Few clouds along the tops of the mountains, with a lot of clear spots. I aimed my camera at the top of Grouse Mountain. and left it running. When I played the tape back I noticed quite a few white orbs going back and forth mainly in an E to W or the reverse direction. Orbs appeared to be flashing and were not in the main overly bright except on about every fifth flash when they got really bright. I could not make out any coloured lights as in regular aircraft. As for distance they were flying behind the clouds so may have been fifty miles away. I did see a number of small planes and they were all flying on this side of the clouds and were easily made out by their flashing lights. When I started taping the sky was still a little light which the night vision made almost like day. I tried zooming in on some of the white orbs but could not make out any sort of fuselage or structure just the white orbs which appeared to be self luminescent. Speed appeared to be about the same as the small craft flying on this side of the mountains.

21:00 Feb. 06,05 - Sky appeared to be mainly clear, I noticed a number of small aircraft flying back and forth alongside the mountains. My attention was caught by a craft flying east along the side of Seymour Mountain. and for a few moments I was puzzled by what was wrong with it. It was showing what appeared to be two large white landing lights surrounding a large red light behind that was another large red light and then a large green light and another large red light. I grabbed my binoculars thinking maybe it was a chopper of some sort. I was unable to see the fuselage clearly enough to make out what it was, as it flew over Pt. Moody the white (landing lights?) went out as well as two of the big red lights leaving just the red light on the nose and the green light towards the rear. It finally dawned on me that none of the lights were blinking light normal aircraft. I grabbed my video camera and started shooting.

I tracked the craft past the tower across the street and until my building walls got in the way. When it came out from behind the tower across the street I was looking at the back of it and noticed another red light was showing although I could still see the red light on the front which appeared to be under the front of the craft. The image on the camera was to small to make out any detail but when I played the tape back on my TV. I could just make out what appeared to be a craft with a side profile similar to a stealth bomber. Kind of a hump in the front tapering back to a very slim profile. When I was looking at it from the rear it seemed to be a V shaped object, about like an arrow head, say about twice as long as it was wide. It seemed to have, as I said, the big red light on the nose and on large red and one large green on the each corner of the rear. The object appeared to be grey or perhaps silver not black like the bombers and I could not make out any wings or hear any noise from it. From the rear it still appeared to be almost flat between the lights and tapering up into the hump towards the front. Sure wish I could download it into my computer just to see if I could enhance it a little and get a better look at it.

Thank you to the witness for their reports.

Vernon, British Columbia Appearance Like A Cotton Ball Illuminated

Posted: January 2, 2008

Date: February 7, 2005 Time: 3:30 p.m.

Hi Brian, I was in my favorite coffee shop in downtown Vernon facing east looking toward Silver Star Mountain. I watched as a contrail appeared from the eastern horizon. In front of the contrail was what seemed to be a white vehicle. The sky was bright blue with clouds at high altitude.

The vehicle was not distinct at the distance, but it was clearly ahead of the contrail it was leaving. I watched the contrail stop and the vehicle pick up speed. I followed it and checked it against the background clouds for wings or a familiar shape. I can describe it as a cotton ball illuminated from the inside the size of a pea at arms length. It passed quickly through the southern sky heading west blending into the clouds and as it flew overhead into a cloud it did not continue on but disappeared in the cloud.

Take care.

Thank you to the witness for the report.

Edmonton, Alberta White Bright Light

Posted: January 2, 2008

Date: February 11, 2005 Time: 5:30 p.m.

02/11/05 About 5:30 p.m. Edmonton view from downtown looking North East towards Grant McEwan College witnessed from 9th story apartment window. White bright light, size unknown?, above and behind Grant Mc McEwan College, bigger and brighter than Venus or Sirius, so bright at first I thought it was a plane landing and thinking it had just turned and its light was facing me as we're close to the city center airport. I've been watching the skies around here for 3-4 years now by this airport so I'm pretty familiar with the area and I've seen planes turn in like that many times and all of a sudden there's a bright light in the sky as cause the plane is facing you.

I've seen lots of planes land and take off, the Air 1 cop heli all night many nights for the past 3 years zipping around the city, along with Stars the medic heli also some military and army helis that sometime look black. What ever it was last night it was at the altitude as if it was a plane coming in to land and just appeared out of nowhere abit above McEwan College. It was about 5:30 p.m. were looking at the computer monitor ordering food off B.P's menu online, the computer is against the wall right beside the window all I have to do is turn my head 15 degrees to the left and I'm looking at the area I witnessed it in last night. It was really bright I found it abit low in altitude to be a plane coming in to land, I thought maybe it was Air 1's searchlight than cause it was that bright and seemed like it wasn't descending in altitude like a plane does. Just hovering in low altitude. At that moment I said to my wife in a sarcastic manner "look a UFO", thinking it was Air 1's searchlight.

I looked back at the monitor for 5 seconds still seeing it out of the corner of my eye and than I looked back at it thinking I should grab the binocs which were at arms length on the table but thought I had seen white wings by the lights? Anyways looked back at the monitor for another 5 seconds or so than looked back out and it was gone. I got up out of my seat right away and had my face pressed to the window, which is 2-3 feet away as I couldn't see a plane or heli as I expected. Green and red blinking light of a plane or the red light of the heli. Nothing! If it was the heli it would have been somewhere close in the vicinity and there was nothing. If it would have been a plane it would have crashed into one of Grant McEwan Towers by now or where Safeway is mini mall strip is??? I stood there at the window scanning the sky for something, but nothing could be seen. I was flipping out on my wife who by than had taken my seat and was looking at the menu now "Honey, that really was a UFO"! Total time of sighting: 15-20 seconds.

Thank you to the witness for the report.

Oshawa/Whitby, Ontario A Small Amber Light

Posted: January 2, 2008

Date: February 12, 2005 Time: 11:55 p.m.

Hi Brian, I would like to report a sighting similar to two others seen here in the Oshawa/Whitby townships. I live in western Oshawa, a stone's throw away from the Whitby's border. This was seen Saturday, February.12, 2005 at exactly 11:55 p.m. The sky was very clear, I stepped out on the deck facing west for a smoke. I witnessed a small amber light traveling west towards Whitby's direction. The amber light behaved like the others, flew horizontal over neighboring homes. This very small light was in fact seen for 3-4 seconds and vanished, it was flying at about no more than 100-200 feet max. The speed, I'm going to guess, would be 40-60 mph. This will now confirm a pattern observed of the other two similar sightings that have happen previously over neighboring homes and coincidentally happened on two other Saturday evenings only months ago.

The only difference of these two other sightings from this recent one, is the color was neon green. Same brief appearance, added with the vanishing act in a 3-4 second window. I'm going to guess or speculate that these type of sightings are probes, winking in and winking out. Obviously, they do have the ability to cloak. No other witnesses were with me, but a friend in Oshawa has confirmed he too has also seen this type of sighting before. I feel this should be reported and wonder what they are up to, maybe some kind of surveillance? I also wanted to comment, that your reports on your site, are in fact growing in a incredible rate, very interesting. Enjoy and keep up the excellent job.

Thank you to the witness for the report.

Simon Fraser University, Burnaby B. C. Object Moves Quickly

Posted: January 2, 2008

Date: February 14, 2005 Time: Approx: 6:00 p.m.

The wind was blowing pretty good so I set my camera to time exposure and aimed it over towards Simon Fraser University. After the sun had gone down I set it to night shot and slowly panned eastward across the mountain tops. The sky was quite clear and just over Heritage Mountain when I noticed what appeared to be two bright stars sitting side by side just over the ridge of the mountain. I don’t usually see many stars in that location so I stopped and started to zoom in on them. I planned to just leave the camera aimed at that spot and see if anything turned up.

But I had just started to zoom when the star on the left or west side, took off at a high speed in an easterly direction. It moved so fast it was just a streak of light on my viewfinder. Because my camera was still on time exposure I didn’t managed to catch it. But later when I played the tape back I found an usual white oval shaped object with a white V shaped tail, the white oval object itself was not unusual but I’ve never seen one with a tail. My camera was running at one second exposure every thirty seconds and the object was only showing for the one second.

Thank you to the witness for the report.

Port Coquitlam, Burke Mountain Flashes Of light

Posted: January 2, 2008

Date: February 15, 2005 Time: Between 6:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m.

From approximately 18:00 to 23:00 I left my camera aimed at about a 45 degree angle over Burke Mountain twice during that time I picked up a number of flashes of light and when I stopped the tape and zoomed in on them I found two of them to consist of two ovals one above and slightly to the right of the other, the top oval was pink and the bottom purple and they were connected by a purple tube. During that time I also spotted what appeared to be satellites passing over in a southeasterly direction, when I zoomed in I found the first to be 3 round white objects connected by a tube and the 2nd. consisted of 7 round white objects which appeared to be touching each other. Just before 23:00 there was a really bright flash and when I checked found it to be a large single oval a brilliant blue in color similar to that of a bottle of Listerine. Also saw a number of normal satellites passing over.

Thank you to the witness for the report.
