Shape of objects: Three circular lights.
Full Description of event/sighting: two lights flying east and one flying west. The westward light went through eastward lights and they stopped, and then flew off quickly.
Very strange.

Halifax, Nova Scotia A Large Bright Circular Light

Location of Sighting: Halifax, Nova Scotia.
Number of witnesses: 2
Number of objects: 1
Shape of objects: Circular.
Full Description of event/sighting: My daughter and I were on the driveway of my house. I looking up at the sky and to my right looking northwest was an extremely bright circular light moving in an easterly direction about 50 degree angle from the horizon. We are on the flight path to Europe so I have seen many planes and this was not a plane, no flashing lights and too bright and large. Too large to be a satellite and moving faster than a satellite. I thought at first that maybe it was the International Space Station but it was not moving in a straight line and not the right trajectory and was much larger than the station. This was traveling in a bit more of an arc. I called my daughters' attention to it and she looked up and saw it.
She's watched the Space Station fly over before and said that no it did not look like it, this was bright or even brighter than the station and larger. As I continued to watch, it became smaller and faded out to a dim red point and disappeared in the middle of the sky. The sky was clear and dark. She did not see it disappear but did look up after it had gone and saw that it was no longer in the sky. It was not a meteorite because it did not move in a straight direction and faded at the same altitude or maybe a bit higher in the sky. If I was to hold my arm out at full length, the size of the light would fill the nail of my index finger.

Sarnia, Ontario A Silver Disk With Possible Portholes

Shape of objects: Silver Disk.
Full Description of event/sighting: I was just driving home from a job out of town, I finished at 3:30 p.m. and I was heading west on Michigan line. It was a beautiful sunny afternoon with some large clouds here and there. I noticed quite a few jets flying east and west and their funny looking con-trails that looked like corkscrews. I had to go to my bank and looked at my watch and it was now 4:00 p.m. and I was driving west on Exmouth Street and got stopped by the Lambton Mall Rd Red-light, which is at least a 5 minute wait. So I started to look up into the sky facing west to see if I could spot some of the jets I'd seen a few minutes before, but what I see shining brightly, reflecting the sun, is a silver disk shape UFO. The top half had what looked like portholes? around the perimeter coming out from a large cloud bank to the south of Exmouth Street and heading northeast. I watched it for 4 or 5 seconds before it disappeared into a very small cloud nearby and expecting it to come out the other side in a second or two, but it never did. The light changed and I proceeded to the next light, which is about a half mile down Exmouth Street, keeping a close watch on that little cloud, expecting to see that craft or maybe an airplane come out, as Sarnia's Chris Hatfield Airport is nearby, but nothing came out.

Granisle, British Columbia More Witnesses To Ongoing UFO And Strange Activity

Location of Sighting: Above and around Babine Lake.
Number of witnesses: Depends on which day of observation.
Number of objects: Depends.
Shape of objects: Disc, and slender shaped flashing objects.

Full Description of event/sighting: Mr. Vike, I am not comfortable telling my name at this particular point in time. There are unbelievably weird things going on here and I wish to obtain a sense of being taken seriously if you will, before I expose personal information. I have lived in this town for almost 15 years, never before have I believed or wanted to believe in "extra terrestrials, or UFOs", but lately, I've seen things, lights in the sky, shadows of abnormal things. I know this is to report UFO sightings but I believe I've seen more then UFOs.
There is another family here (Granisle) that have been in contact with you quit a bit. I'm good friends with these folks, they are not lying to you. I've seen lights in the sky everyday towards the eastern side of the lake. At first I was convinced these were logging trucks, but as these lights have continued to appear I have began to realize and tell myself almost exclusively, if that's the right word, logging trucks cannot fly, hover or dart back in forth through the sky at amazing speeds.
I've seen lights almost everyday for 3 weeks, the women that was writing to you about a picture her daughter had taken, she's not lying. You can clearly make out a figure, an abnormal figure. One I believe I've seen before on December 12, 2007. I was at home, it was roughly one o'clock am and I was beginning to get ready for bed. I was standing in my kitchen when I caught a glimpse of something in a thicket of trees standing behind my house. Now Mr. Vike before I confess what I saw, I'm asking you, please be understanding and as much as you may not want to believe me, there was something there. At first I thought it was a child, then I realized the time. No parent in there right mind would let a small child be out this late, no child would want to be out this late. For these reasons I have come to believe I was being observed. Lately I've had odd feeling of being watched, this may seem like BS, but I believe I have a good sense of being able to tell when someone (or in this case, something) is watching me. As for the lights, I've observed them almost everyday with the family that writes to you. Up until now I have refused to contact you about what I've seen, but these lights aren't normal and I'm afraid. I am only writing to you because I have been urged to do so. The lights I saw were flashing red and yellow discs. I've observed them through telescope and binoculars. I appreciatively ask you to email me as soon as possible with your analysis, please and thank you. I'll be waiting for your reply.

Calgary, Alberta Witness Objects Caught On Film And Moving Fast (Pictures)

You probably think I'm off the "rocker" but something happen to me this past summer which I actually photographed and has made me a believer after talking to a photographer whom I met on an aircraft while traveling to Christchurch, New Zealand. He was going down to the Antarctica to shoot for National Geographic as a free lance photographer. I told this stranger of what I had photographed and he told me he's seen the same phenomena on a couple of occasions.
Now if it wasn't for Ethan saying "Look Daddy" and pointing up to the sky, I wouldn't have this photographic record to share with you.
I'm not kidding or messing around with you, this actually happened last June 20th at 5:12 pm. The next photograph is 10 seconds later with a clear sky.

Hi there Brian:
Those photos were taken here in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, off by back deck looking directly south. The object with the red circle around it was traveling at a huge rate of speed but while it was traveling directly to the west it was definitely flashing slowly but very bright then dull then bright again. When it rendezvoused with those other three it stopped instantaneously then all four disappeared as if somebody turned off a light.
Watching those objects was unbelievable and I didn't really see the other three until the fourth was close to them; It was rather exciting watching such a phenomena.
It's ok to place those photos where ever you want and don't worry about copyright; they are for all to see. Merry Christmas.

New Westminster, British Columbia A Flying V Shaped Craft

Location of Sighting: New Westminster, BC.

Shape of objects: V.
Full Description of event/sighting: I was laying on a table looking up at the stars admiring them. I was in the south-western portion of New Westminster at a school, and these lights appear and there is no sound. They look like lights along the inside edges of an indentation of a flying V. But are very low to city. It was to my left and heading towards Port Moody. It struck me as so odd that I wrote it down on a piece of paper and drew what it looked like. I might not have the piece of paper still, but I remember things pretty well, maybe not the exact time or date, but pretty close. I remember things by seeing them.

Burin, Newfoundland Bright Flash And A Circular Pattern Etched In Windshield

Shape of objects: Bright flash.
Full Description of event/sighting: Just to see if you have heard of anything like this. I only saw the after effects. Two people were driving in a truck when there was a brilliant flash of light. They have no explanation of what it was or had seen a similar light before. After the light disappeared there was a circular pattern etched in the front windshield approximately 5 inches by 5 inches, kind of jagged but circular. If you rubbed your hand on the front, or inside of the windshield you could not feel anything. The image was somehow in the glass. May not be a UFO, just weird.

They have no explanation of what it was or had seen a similar light before. Granisle, British Columbia A Witnesses Journal Of UFO And Dark Figures

HBCC UFO Research Note: UFO sightings and more is still taking place in Granisle, British Columbia. From what I understand there are many people talking about seeing unusual lights to unknown craft of strange shapes and sizes. I am just waiting for the highways to clear a bit and I will be heading to Granisle to meet everyone involved. These events are taking place in December 2007.
Here is my journal.
After seeing the event take place on the Granisle Highway on the way home from Houston, things have gotten strange to say the least.
We have been having, what most people might consider paranormal activity happening in our house and my daughters. It started out with my 17 year old son hearing low mumbling voices in the room next to mine. I told him to drag the mattress into my room. My husband stays in camp during the week while working. My son did drag the mattress in and that night we both had a lot of difficulty sleeping. Both of us had breezes blowing on us and just a very strange eerie sleep. The following night was the same only more intense, and before bedtime my son heard a noise in a room in the basement by our steps. When he went to investigate the dark room and he saw a very dark figure standing there. He ran.
Outside, the "clouds" have been very strange. When the day or night is absolutely clear with a billion stars in the sky, suddenly a fog will show up starting very small and growing huge, then just as suddenly disappear. One of the neighborhood kids and his girlfriend saw an orb hovering over my daughters building among other things.
The next night, which would be a Friday my husband was home. The air was the same in the room. The blankets felt as though they were being lifted then dropped which would create a slight breeze around you. My son again saw a figure, but in the room we were sleeping and he kept getting touched. He was very upset and I finally got up with him and then after going to bed it continued to bother him badly. He finally got so upset he got up. I could still feel it as well, but dropped off to sleep. At 8:00 am, I could feel my blankets moving slowly and suddenly my husband sat straight up in bed and swore loudly telling whatever it was to go away in not so many words! The blankets were being pulled off of us from the bottom of the bed. We got up.
The next night was uneventful for my husband, but I could still feel the strange air and was shaken awake. My son, was shaken about the very same time and got up staying awake.
Sunday, my husband had to go back to camp and we had a very horrible night. Before my husband left, he mentioned that we should sleep in the living room downstairs and take the dogs with us. We set up camp down there and prepared to watch movies until we fell asleep.
I made myself a bed on the couch and he drug a mattress in on the floor. He sat on the couch by a lamp to draw while we watched TV. I was feeling confident that we wouldn't have to leave for much of anything and began to say as much. I said, "Well, we have our phone, we have our bottled water, we have tissue, we even have our cryptonite!" When suddenly I was grabbed on my butt! I jumped up screaming. When I settled down enough, I put my thickest blanket over the couch to lie on, because it felt as though it was coming through the crack of the sofa. My son had been going through this already but not as intense of a touch. We put out a video camera.
At about 12:00 a.m. (midnight), there was a BANG, BANG, BANG on the door. We almost jumped out of our skin. My son crept to the door with his knife. It was my daughter, who was almost in tears and her boyfriend. They were hollering and my son yelled for me to come! They told us that they were chased by a UFO and wanted us to go out and see it. They did not want to go with us. They were so upset and said "You have got to be kidding!" Where the sky had been perfectly clear was now fogged! Like I said these strange fogs just show up, and then leave as fast as they came.
The story they told was unbelievable. They were watching TV in my daughters apartment. Now they had been hearing strange things for days, but this was different. There was something making a lot of racket in the attic. They took a flashlight and stacked a chair on top of a trunk in the spare bedroom where the attic door is located. My daughter is too short to get up there safely, so her boyfriend went up alone. He got in and he says he saw a very tall, dark figure that darted away fast as he looked at it. This scared him so bad, that jumped out of the attic not caring if he missed the chair or not. He yelled, "Get out! Get out of the room! Go, Go, Go!" My daughter says, "Why? What's going on?!" He says, I saw something up there! It was fast, it didn't even make a sound! It moved without a sound!"
They were standing outside the bedroom door. It was closed. My daughter says, "I don't want my cat in there B! The attic door is still open." He responded, "Are you kidding me? I am not going back in there ever again!" Finally she convinced him to open the door a crack enough to see the cat, who was sitting under the chair on the trunk staring up at the hole. When called, this kitten always comes. She wouldn't even look at them. It took what seemed many minutes to get her attention and out of there. After closing the door it suddenly started shaking. Someone was on the other side rattling it hard and the kitten darted away, spinning out in the kitchen. There was a hiccup coming from the room with the attic! They grabbed the kitten and ran out the front door.
While running, my daughter noticed these strange striped clouds over just over the apartment building. Her boyfriend said, "That is strange." She thought he was talking about the clouds but he was talking about the object in the sky with sparkling lights coming toward them. They were running as fast as they could and my daughter kept looking back at it. Her boyfriend told her not to keep looking back because it was slowing them down. It followed then stopped, and so on. They made it to my house. She said it was round and sparkling, but I do not remember the color.
We pulled another mattress into the living room (in basement) and watched a movie. At about 4:00 am we turned off the TV and were about to sleep when there was what sounded like footsteps crunching in the snow and a huge BANG!, like someone hitting the wall. It was either in the house or up against it. We all ran upstairs and searched and saw or heard nothing. Back downstairs and just settling in and the same thing. Crunch, crunch, BANG! We went to sleep.
That day, I took the kids over and we looked in the attic. I didn't bring a ladder and I could not pull myself up into it, so the boyfriend and my daughter got in there. I helped her up. I was tall enough to see in there and there was drywall broken out from the side separating the apartment on the right with my daughters. The insulation had also been disturbed in places you aren't able to step. No activity though that I could see.
They decided to try to sleep there.
I spoke to my husband on Messenger and told him about the events. He was very upset and wanted us to sleep at my moms up the hill. We didn't want to do that unless it really scared us again. That night, I felt pretty good and had no events at all, except that my son was being touched so often it was upsetting him very badly. Another night for both of us with little or no sleep at all.
The clouds/fog were really getting to me.
Sometime early afternoon I decided, since my son laid down for a nap and seemed to be undisturbed, I would go up to my moms. While sitting for a visit my husband walked in. He was very worried and wanted to find out for himself what was happening. We went home and he had a nap to prepare for an all nighter.
It was very clear out. You could see all the stars. My daughter and I go for a drive. It is dark now. We go down to the lake and we see this fog start up just between us and the road above us. It starts to get eerie and then suddenly an orange light shoots out of the sky into the cloud. We go home to get my husband. When we get there he is standing outside with the dogs looking at the sky. He got a little spooked inside and decided to go out. After he put the dogs in the house, I pick him up and take him down to the lake. We start observing all the strange "stars" and "planets" And the sudden appearance and disappearance of the fogs. My husband kind of dismisses things so we go home. Later, as my husband is again sleeping on the couch, my son and daughter and I were keeping our eyes open. At about 2:00 am, my husband was asleep on the couch and my daughter and son call me to the window asking me what the light was above our neighbors roof over the lake. I said, "Let's go see."
So we walked down toward the lake and it is as clear as a bell out. Suddenly a fog appears, starting out small and growing and growing until it is like a path from where we came. Then it totally circles us. We couldn't see the light on the lake anymore. I started to get really scared that it is trapping us, so we go home and get the truck. After we get back down there and sit for about 2 minutes still in the truck I see it! It is octagon in shape and it is coming down the lake from Smithers direction. It is flying low and had red and green/blue lights all around it. I said, "Oh my God, there it is, there it is!" The kids jump out of the truck and I am freaking for them not to. Then I got out too and it flew over our heads and there is a rumble like a jet very loud. My son starts flicking his lighter at it wanting it to see us! I tell him "Don't!" It continues on in a straight path and finally the blinking lights couldn't be seen. We are so excited! Mystified! Scared! We get back in the truck because it is cold. The strange fog appears rapidly over the lake. We ask each other if it was a jet or what? Suddenly there is a huge blue flash that lights up the sky and it comes from the direction that we saw the "jet" go. It streaks across the sky a lit up octagon shape at lightning speed and it stops right in front of us across the lake and sits there, now just looking like a star or planet. "Meteorites" are everywhere.
I panic and drive off and the kids are complaining loudly that I am taking them away from this event that is once in a lifetime. I tell them I want their dad, and I go to get him! I wake him up and he mumbles and goes back to sleep. The kids are waiting in the truck, keeping an eye on the light that loomed there. I feel like a heel, but I am terrified at the thought of taking them back there to the unknown, but I do anyway. First I stop at my brothers, wake him up and take him with us back down to the lakeside. We park the same way facing the lake but as far back from it as possible. As we sit there, we start to see them. There are at least four maybe more. There are two hovering on the lake and one comes out from the trees on the other side and goes straight up and hovers there. It moves up and down up and down over a little then up and down. There are more over on the other side glowing through the trees. The fog appears again. Then the one on the left of us which appears to be hovering on the lake and is a long strip of lights with what looked like a search light in the center starts to get too close. My kids are in the back of the truck and I fear for them so I start to drive off. My brother wants me to stop and look for a minute more. I do this and then leave. I dropped my brother off and we went into his place to discuss what we saw.
Then I go home and my husband is up. My kids continue to watch out the window and see the one on the lake which we now know was the one that lured us down there to begin with. It is glowing and from that distance you can only see the search light thing. I asked my husband to go and see with me, because I really wanted him to experience what we did. Finally after about half an hour he asks if I want to go. We did. As we were heading down to the lake he saw a very large black shape over the lake and then it faded out. After that he only got to see the one on the lake by the mine and the strange fog that took over the whole area immediately after we got there. We could hear what he thought was the barge starting up. After that we saw no more activity. We drove up to my moms because he thought we could get a better view from her driveway. We sat there for a few minutes when I saw in the sky above the lake what looked like red and green lights flashing. It flew from the burns lake side of the lake toward Smithers but not following the lake like I saw the other lower craft. This one was much higher and sounded jet-like. Suddenly the fog got huge and glowing white. It came up so fast and then it began coming toward us. We went home and in the two minutes that took, the fog totally covered Granisle. My kids were at the kitchen window and had seen a light hovering above the neighbor house behind us. This neighbor stays up all night it seems like we have been. I wonder why?
I am so relieved to get this all down safely. I was just typing the last long paragraph when I realized I had my toe on the power button and it was shutting my pc down. Figures I would lose it all, but luckily I managed to save. I feel like if it isn't written, everything is getting foggy and fading from memory. Strange. As I sit here this morning looking out the kitchen window, the sky is overcast. The mountain across the lake is bright and sunny above it. and a huge pancake cloud above the sunny area as usual. I feel now like the touchy feely stuff going on in our house is like energy. Not of the spiritual kind though. The brand new video camera we got that takes beautiful pictures normally, sure did act strange. It wouldn't even allow a shot of the craft, even though it was as big as a house. The shots we got in the house are very odd.
December 12th, 2007 3:00 a.m.
My son was watching TV in living room, and I was finally asleep for about a half an our beside him on the couch. Both dogs were with us, they were very alert and looked nervous but didn't make a sound. He was trying to wake me. Poking me yelling at me etc.. Finally I awakened after a very long, long time. There was a loud hovering sound and someone walking around in the upper floor. The TV picture was going all strange. It was going small and big and small, narrowing on all sides. We were both paralyzed in fear. After about a half hour of listening to the whirring and the creeping around sounds in the house, we got the nerve to go and look around. We found nothing.
About 4:00 pm. We were sitting in the kitchen and my daughter looked out the patio doors and yelled! I don't even want to tell you what she saw in the tree that jumped to another tree.
December 13th, 2007.
In the evening at about dinner time, my daughter called and asked me to drive her down to Topley Landing restaurant. The night sky was clear as a bell and very starry. I drove over to pick her up on Morrison St. Both her and her boyfriend were standing outside pointing up in the sky toward Topley. I watched as two crafts were zipping around following each other. Blue and red lights. We watched them as we drove to the landing. After the boyfriend came out of the lodge we continued to watch three crafts flying by the moon. I saw the owner of the lodge doing something outside near a shed and I told the boyfriend to yell at him and tell him to look. The man couldn't hear us so I drove over to him and pointed. He came over and I told him to look at the space ships and he looked and said, "Oh ya, we see them all the time."
After we got home I looked above our house and noticed these strange stars above. They were in the shape of an octagon. They were there for about ten minutes and then one at a time they disappeared. The fog started in but only where you would walk.
I was talking to my husband on msn and telling him about the noises in the house and he insisted that I go up to my moms to stay until he could get home the next day. I promised I would. My son came running in. It was about 8:00pm. He was very upset and told me that he saw a small midget-like thing run across the road in front of him. It was black and ran on 2 legs and had two arms. It ran down the trail to the lake. He was very afraid when he saw it and yelled. He said it was 3.5 maybe 4 feet tall. We went to my moms. Shortly after my brother came up and I took him for a drive to the lake with the headlights out. We could see the light dimming and getting bright across the lake. We sat for maybe 5 minutes when he looked above the truck and saw a saucer shape (black). We jumped out and it would zip away so fast. Then return and then zip away as soon as you could see it.
At some point after midnight the dogs needed to go outside and one of them took off up to the water tower. He took several pictures outside and especially in the fog there are orb-like things everywhere. The fog would climb around the house and disappear very fast and then return. Very odd. There were many "meteorites".

Pretty uneventful but the sky was very clouded over. Every once in a while in the evening there was a blink or a flash, but that was all besides the poking and bugging in the house.

HBCC UFO Research Note: UFO sightings and more is still taking place in Granisle, British Columbia. From what I understand there are many people talking about seeing unusual lights to unknown craft of strange shapes and sizes. I am just waiting for the highways to clear a bit and I will be heading to Granisle to meet everyone involved. These events are taking place in December 2007.

After seeing the event take place on the Granisle Highway on the way home from Houston, things have gotten strange to say the least.
We have been having, what most people might consider paranormal activity happening in our house and my daughters. I drove over to pick her up on Morrison St. Both her and her boyfriend were standing outside pointing up in the sky toward Topley. I watched as two crafts were zipping around following each other. Blue and red lights. We watched them as we drove to the landing. After the boyfriend came out of the lodge we continued to watch three crafts flying by the moon. I saw the owner of the lodge doing something outside near a shed and I told the boyfriend to yell at him and tell him to look. The man couldn't hear us so I drove over to him and pointed. He came over and I told him to look at the space ships and he looked and said, "Oh ya, we see them all the time."
After we got home I looked above our house and noticed these strange stars above. They were in the shape of an octagon. They were there for about ten minutes and then one at a time they disappeared. The fog started in but only where you would walk.
I was talking to my husband on msn and telling him about the noises in the house and he insisted that I go up to my moms to stay until he could get home the next day. I promised I would. My son came running in. It was about 8:00pm. He was very upset and told me that he saw a small midget-like thing run across the road in front of him. It was black and ran on 2 legs and had two arms. It ran down the trail to the lake. He was very afraid when he saw it and yelled. He said it was 3.5 maybe 4 feet tall. We went to my moms. Shortly after my brother came up and I took him for a drive to the lake with the headlights out. We could see the light dimming and getting bright across the lake. We sat for maybe 5 minutes when he looked above the truck and saw a saucer shape (black). We jumped out and it would zip away so fast. Then return and then zip away as soon as you could see it.
At some point after midnight the dogs needed to go outside and one of them took off up to the water tower. He took several pictures outside and especially in the fog there are orb-like things everywhere. The fog would climb around the house and disappear very fast and then return. Very odd. There were many "meteorites".
December 14th, 2007
Pretty uneventful but the sky was very clouded over. Every once in a while in the evening there was a blink or a flash, but that was all besides the poking and bugging in the house.

No major sightings. No mysterious fog. Some minor UFO movement high in the sky above the lake at approx: 3:00am.(on the 16th)
However.
My daughter heard strange clicking noises outside which seemed to come from the trees on both sides of the road, so she got me and I went out and heard clicking noises as well. My daughter decided to snap some photos.
We looked at the photos taken around the house next door which captured more orbs and one "being" peering out the window of the empty house. After taking several more photos to rule out a reflection or coincidental whatever, we've all agreed it appears to be authentic and obvious.
My husband yelled from the living room that the TV picture was growing small and large.

We took more pictures of the house next door and even peered into the window in the daylight and have come to the unanimous agreement that the shape of the alien in the photo cannot be explained away by reflections or anything else. There is nothing in the space the shape occupied.
They are out in full force tonight December 16th, starting around 7:00pm. We ran out the door, me in my bare feet so didn't even look at the time. There were 4 smaller ones that we could see very plainly zipping around and up and down and all around and they go very fast at times, but They swayed like attached by a string from side to side when the were more stationary. We also saw the big ship (jet sounding) Flew over us and then a while later coming another way and stopped then disappeared then again looked as if it was coming toward us and then disappeared. Very loud.
OK, I was talking to my husband who left this afternoon for camp in Burns Lake and he said that he was followed all the way to Topley by a craft. It flew along side him at quite a distance. Now as he sits in his bunk house there is banging and crashing going on and something on the roof. He is the only one in there as it is Sunday and the rest of the guys don't come till Monday.
As I was talking to my husband online I received an urgent phone call around 10 pm or so. It was my mom and she says, "Get up here! It is huge!" She heard her dog vomiting outside and as she opened the door to get him, she immediately saw a huge, bright light appear and she called her husband out to see as well. She said "it was as if someone turned on their snowmobile light in the fog." It lifted up and under it there were a bunch of white glowing smaller balls of light. By the time we (my youngest 17 year old son and my 21 year old daughter) got up there we saw a huge glow above the water tower about the size of a football field. It was hovering up and down. It remained there for a good half hour before it began to glide what seemed to be away from us further into the hills.
Eventually the light, which was now a blue glow in the strategically placed fog and seemed to move farther back up or around the mountain. Finally the fog became a thick black cloud with a perfect glowing white outline. The cloud was lying low, covering only the area where the light was emanating from, and sometimes there appeared to be holes in the cloud straight through to the glow. That went on for about an hour longer but it slowly faded down to a dull blue glow in and the cloud wasn't as black anymore.
My two daughters, youngest son and the boyfriend decided to walk up to the water tower, much to my dismay. On the way up my oldest daughter and the boyfriend each witnessed an orb cross their path ahead, then they came across some very strange footprints (not human) in the snow, and saw a flash in the woods, at which point she began photographing and making a video of the prints. As they got closer to the water tower, they saw more flashes. They were small flashing points in the darkness between the trees, "like someone flicking a lighter". Then they noticed a steady glowing orb higher in a tree, less than 20 feet away from where they were on the road, probably about 15-20 feet up the tree. At that point they realized that something was there looking straight at them and it was time to go home.
When we see these things I wish at the time that there were others around to see it as well. My fear is that I would run up to one of the houses and bang on the door, and drag someone out, only to find the things gone. I would feel so foolish. These things happen so fast and then you are afraid to look away incase you miss something.
I have to mention that when driving down to the lake during a sighting I usually turn out the headlights. My truck allows me to drive without. Today, Dec 16th I didn't have my own truck and was using my son's car which has automatic driving lights and they stay on. I noticed each time I drove down to the lake with the lights on, all the lights and activity halted until we had the car and lights turned off. Sometimes it would be up to 20 min. before the UFOs would resume their "work?"
As I sit here typing this, it is 2:40 am Monday, December 17th and from my window I can see one of the UFOs between the lodge and the resort at the lake.

Calgary, Alberta A Disc Shaped Object Gives Off A Discharge

Weather Conditions: Clear with clouds moving in from N.W.
Description: Me and a friend were sledding on a small hill in soccer field in Beddington N.E. We then took a break and laid in the snow to look at the few stars in the sky. I began looking at a very bright light which I thought was a star and noticed something in the corner of my eye, an object oscillating in zig zaggy patterns. It seemed to be at a very high altitude and moving closer to the ground. It got just close enough that I could make out lights on the side forming the disc shape. I then began watching the other light I noticed previously and it was a plane of some kind high altitude heading towards the object when it seemed to be fairly close to the UFO, the object discharged something then vanished into the upper atmosphere at an incredible speed.

Terrace, British Columbia UFO Sighting (Letter)

Bedford, Nova Scotia Bright White Object With Tail Traveling Behind

Time: 6:50 a.m.
Location of Sighting: Intersection of the Bedford Highway and Kearney Lake Road.
Number of witnesses: Two separate cars.
Number of objects: 1
Shape of objects: Round, very long tail.
Full Description of event/sighting: Sunday December 9th at 6:50 am (on my way to Hockey practice) bright clean white light with distinct head and tail traveling east to west across the horizon extremely fast (faster than an aircraft) and brighter than any shooting star I have every seen. The elevation of the object was difficult to determine. However I have never seen a shooting star so low, perhaps a few thousand feet as I expected an impact.
Witnessed by a second individual that I had not previously known but met later at the Hockey rink.

Shape of objects: Oval circular shiny.
Full Description of event/sighting: Me and my buddy where sitting in the back of a crew cab truck traveling south on highway towards Czar, Alberta going to work on power-lines in the area. There is an army base in the area we seen the objects fly. It was just after 7:00 am in the morning on Oct 8th, the sun was just about to rise and the sky was orange pink in color, a beautiful morning. My buddy first noticed it out his side window, and was saying "what the hell is that in the sky?" I looked and seen it in the far distance, a rather large object it was ovular or like a flattened bubble and shiny. It seemed to be consistently traveling along side us for some time, it wasn't like we passed it, it was just there and another one appeared briefly only seeming more distant then the other, and once the sun rose it almost seemly disappeared It was weird, nothing I've ever seen before, my buddy passed it off as maybe something reflecting off the ground into the air, but to me that still makes no sense.

Kelowna, B.C. Military Aircraft Over Kelowna Again ? (Large Black Aircraft With Dish)

Message: Hello Brian; I am a friend of (name removed) and was talking to her tonight about the radio show she did last night for the fellow in Phoenix. On the show she happened to mention something about black airplanes and helicopters, well this conversation led me to remember an incident that happened here in the Okanagan about 2 or 3 weeks ago. I didn't put any importance on it until I heard my friend talk last night. When I told her, she asked me to email you and pass on what I remembered, so here it goes... about 2 or 3 weeks ago, I was sitting in a local Tim Horton's parking lot having coffee and noticed a huge black aircraft flying low overhead. It slowly circled the city and then flew towards our airport. I remember saying to my friend how low this aircraft was and something about it being all black.
It was so low I could see the outline of the pilots windows even though they were also black. There was like a satellite dish on the top rear of it as well. I don't know if my friend saw it either, he didn't make a comment. I left the parking lot and was going home across our bridge and again I saw this aircraft, it flew over our bridge and flew southwest down our lake heading towards Penticton. I thought to myself that it was possibly looking for a fire and totally forgot the incident until hearing my friend last night. I lost track of the aircraft as it followed the lake. It was huge, like the kind they show on TV in Iraq where they load jeeps etc. in the back, you know, they have that big door that comes down. Message: Hello Brian; I am a friend of (name removed) and was talking to her tonight about the radio show she did last night for the fellow in Phoenix. On the show she happened to mention something about black airplanes and helicopters, well this conversation led me to remember an incident that happened here in the Okanagan about 2 or 3 weeks ago. I didn't put any importance on it until I heard my friend talk last night. When I told her, she asked me to email you and pass on what I remembered, so here it goes... about 2 or 3 weeks ago, I was sitting in a local Tim Horton's parking lot having coffee and noticed a huge black aircraft flying low overhead. It slowly circled the city and then flew towards our airport. I remember saying to my friend how low this aircraft was and something about it being all black.
It was so low I could see the outline of the pilots windows even though they were also black. There was like a satellite dish on the top rear of it as well. I don't know if my friend saw it either, he didn't make a comment. I left the parking lot and was going home across our bridge and again I saw this aircraft, it flew over our bridge and flew southwest down our lake heading towards Penticton. I thought to myself that it was possibly looking for a fire and totally forgot the incident until hearing my friend last night. I lost track of the aircraft as it followed the lake. It was huge, like the kind they show on TV in Iraq where they load jeeps etc. in the back, you know, they have that big door that comes down. From Wasaga Beach Over Georgian Bay, Ontario Jets Observed Approaching Object

I remember researching an event that happened over Georgian Bay years ago, I didn't know where to go or who to ask.
I am very happy I found your site and would like to tell you about this event.
We were vacationing at Wasaga beach on the south shores of Georgian Bay when we observed a very unusual event. I've always wondered if what we saw that evening was a military maneuver from Mindon or something else.
My husband and I noticed a stationary light directly in front of us below cloud level and far enough away that we couldn't see a shape. When it didn't move for quite awhile, we brought it to the attention of the rest of my family and some neighbours. We all assembled by the beach and watched in fascination as various jets/rockets? were seen approaching from all directions! I can't quite remember the number of approaching vehicles. They seemed to be longer than jets, shaped more like rockets. I remember they had interesting contrails behind them. They were coming closer and closer when suddenly the bright light in from of us went "out". Just disappeared. The rockets also seemed to fade away after that.
Everybody just assumed it was some military movement, but near a public beach? To an observer it looked like an attack was about to happen why would they do a maneuver near a public beach in the summer?
I am also aware of another sighting of a triangular craft north of Georgetown around mid August of 2007. I was not there but there were 2 witnesses. These young individuals were very shaken up, but I'll see if they will write you an account. It was because of their sighting that I found your website and found other sightings of similar shaped crafts.

In Sky Above West Lethbridge, Alberta Object Turns Red In Color

Full Description of event/sighting: At approximately 5:30pm on December 10, 2007 my daughter and I were in our backyard in West Lethbridge, Alberta. It was dusk and the stars were just about visible in the night sky. I happened to look up and saw a very bright light coming from the west. My first thought was that it was an airplane with it's landing lights on, but as I watched it come overhead I realized this was not the case as there was no noise at all coming from the object and the light maintained the same intensity even after it passes over us. As I observed the object traveling overhead my 4 year old daughter commented on the intensity of the light saying that it was like a big flashlight. The object turned to the right slightly, traveling in a southeastern direction. It was at this time that the light suddenly turned red and then disappeared. The sudden change of color and the rapid disappearance made me think that this was not an ordinary occurrence as I had never witnessed anything like that before. The sky was cloudless so the object did not pass behind any clouds and it was well above the horizon. The whole sighting lasted about 25 - 30 seconds. I don't know what my daughter and I witnessed that night but it made the hair stand up on the back of my neck...freaky to say the least.

Trans Canada, Over Quebec City A Cigar Shaped Craft

Full Description of event/sighting: We were driving east on the Trans Canada approaching Quebec City and saw a white line in the sky, not moving. There was a clear blue sky, absolutely no clouds. We figured it was a plane landing or taking off. As we got closer to Quebec City we noticed it was still above the city, still not moving. It did not appear to be a plane landing or taking off. It appeared white, perhaps metallic reflecting the bright sunlight and was cigar-shaped. We considered the possibility that we might be mistaking it for one of the many tall light posts around the city, but there was no pole and it was too high up (we first saw it from about five miles from the city). Distracted, we accidentally pulled into the city and lost sight of it. When we returned to the highway we could not find it again. We pulled into the city at 1:10 p.m.

Hazelton, British Columbia - Major UFO Sighting.
A little History on Hazelton, B.C. - Hazelton is a small town located at the junction of the Bulkley and Skeena Rivers in northern British Columbia, Canada. It was founded in 1866 and has a population of approximately, 1,356. New Hazelton is also the northern most point of the Yellowhead Highway, a major interprovincial highway which runs from Prince Rupert, British Columbia to Winnipeg, Manitoba.
The Hazelton area is comprised of two municipalities (the Village of Hazelton and District of New Hazelton), three unincorporated settlements (South Hazelton, Two Mile and the Kispiox Valley), and four First Nations’ Villages (Gitanmaax, Hagwilget, Glen Vowell and Kispiox).
On November 29, 2007 at 4:30 a.m. to approximately 9:00 a.m. on a ranch in Hazelton, British Columbia a man woke up in the early hours of the morning, looked out one of the windows of his home to spot something very unusual in the morning sky. He watched for a while then went and grabbed his spotting scope. What he witnessed through his scope took him by surprise. It was a huge ball of extremely bright white light, which turned out to be a "large" cigar shaped craft hovering in the sky over his ranch. The craft did move from time to time to a different part of the sky, but never really leaving the ranch area. At one point it moved over top of, and sat stationary half way down a mountain on the ranch called Roche Debulle. (Pictures of the mountain and ranch are included in links which were provided by the witness's sister).
Hazelton, British Columbia UFO Sighting
Before I write down the eyewitness account of what was seen, I should note that the sister of the witness wrote an email to me over the event. She lives down on the lower mainland outside of Vancouver, B.C. In her email she told me the date of the sighting, which was on November 29, 2007 and the time was from 4:30 a.m. to approximately 9:00 a.m., which would have been daylight hours just before 9:00 a.m.
Her sister's email report to me was short as she gave her telephone number so I could call and talk to her personally about what her brother saw.

Sister's full description of event/sighting: Good morning Brian, I've never heard of you until my girlfriend found your site after I was telling her what happened the other night (which was up north here in Hazelton, British Columbia). I live in Ladner, BC. My brother lives in Hazelton. My brother called me at 5:00 a.m. and I was on the phone with him until approximately 8:00 a.m. He watched as a craft hovered low on his ranch for about 4 hours. Other crafts, a total of seven zipped all around, what we are calling the command ship which remained on the ranch and in plain view the entire time.

HBCC UFO Research Note: The lady's brother phoned and woke his sister up at 5:00 a.m. This shows how exciting and amazing the sighting was over the man's ranch, they both stayed on the telephone for 3 hours, finally hanging up and later just after 9:00 a.m. the brother called his sister back to say the objects had left the area. Fascinating !
I telephoned the fellow who witnessed a sighting of multiple objects in Hazelton and got his feedback on what was seen.
The witness was at home on his ranch and had fallen asleep on his couch. At around 4:30 a.m. he woke up, but he told me he wasn't really asleep, more like just laying there hoping to catch a nap. The fellow decided to get up and head upstairs to his bedroom and flicked the TV on and immediately tuned it off and jumped into his bed. In his bedroom he has a large picture window which looks over his ranch. The man says it is beautiful land, as he can see his ranch, horses and Roche Debulle (mountain).
He said it was a clear night and he was looking up at the night sky when he saw 4 to 7 objects, which were up at a good altitude and had red and green lights on them. As he watched, and looking over towards a foothill on his ranch he noticed an extremely bright light which also was very large in size. The man watched it for a good period of time and eventually it moved over top his property and stopped and hovered. I asked the witness roughly how low the object was, and he told me it was about half the height of Roche Debulle which is a beautiful mountain at the back of his property. (What ever this craft was, it was really low in altitude)
The witness said this low hovering main craft was just a big yellow colored light until he brought out his spotting scope and was able to really see some kind of shape to it. It turns out this object was like a giant cigar. All the other six objects which were green and red in color sat stationary much higher above and in a straight line across the night sky.
Due to the main crafts brightness he only saw a ball shaped light. It was only when he used his spotting scope that he could actually see shape to the object.
He was afraid to take his eyes off the thing just in case he missed something, but did eventually move down stairs to make a cup of coffee and was still able to observe the object from his kitchen window and it still sat there for a long time afterwards. Finally dawn started to break and when night turned to day the craft rose up, straight upwards and eventually just disappeared. The man told me he was able to watch the craft rising up until he wasn't able to view it anymore. As for the line of colored objects, they seemed to disappear due to the oncoming brightness from the daylight. That was it, an amazing UFO event !

Granisle, British Columbia - Major UFO Sighting.
A little History on Granisle, B.C. - The early inhabitants of the area were Carrier Indians, called "Babine" by the early explorers, referring to the distended ornamented lower lips of the native women.
The village of Granisle was founded in the late 1960's and early 1970's on the shores of Babine Lake as a home for the families of the miners working in the nearby copper mines. At the height of its population, Granisle boasted approximately 3,000 people.
After the last mine shut down in 1992, the community transformed into a retirement destination. Tourism in the area also began to grow and is now the area's main industry.
In 1971 workmen excavating in an open-pit copper mine at Babine Lake discovered the partly articulated skeleton of a Columbian Mammoth. The bones were taken from silty pond deposits overlain by very thick boulder-clay deposited by the last glacier that covered the area. Radiocarbon dates indicate that the animal sank in sticky pond deposits about 34,000 years ago. A replica of some of the Mammoth's Bones can be seen at the Granisle Museum.
Also Babine Lake is the largest natural lake in all of British Columbia.
A major UFO event took place on November 29, 2007 along the Granisle Hwy, close to the lookout. Three witnesses were driving home from the Topley, B.C. area which is located just south of Granisle. The highway driving wasn't the best with slippery sections of compact snow and some black ice. As the witnesses approached the Granisle lookout, just a short distance south from it, fog rolled in and a bright explosion (no sound) lit up the whole sky, their truck on the highway and surrounding area. It was like night was turned into day for a brief second or two.
When HBCC UFO Research first read the report, or the first sentence in the emailed sighting report I thought the witnesses may have seen a fireball. But from talking to two of the eyewitnesses it became clear to me that what they saw was rather unusual and not something easily explainable.
Right after the blue flash lit up the area a streak of white light shot out of the sky towards the ground on the witnesses right hand side of the vehicle. "It was very strange and surreal", the witness told me. The folks continued on driving and then came across a whole set of orange and red lights in front of them. (keep in mind the white streak of light shot out of the sky, downward and appeared to be in front of them). The colored lights looked like they were in front of them on the hill. Then just disappeared before they got to it seconds later. There was no other traffic on the highway at the time of the event. One of the people wanted to go back and see if they could find anything, but the other two passengers in their vehicle were too frightened so they continued on their way to home to Granisle.
Second Witness To Granisle, B.C. (A little earlier in the day and independent from everyone else)
I called back to another eyewitness, a fellow who resides in Granisle, B.C. What he saw was completely unusual. On November 29, 2007 at approximately 5:00 - 5:30 p.m. when the fellow witnessed a very strange cloud formation which seemed to have parked itself directly over top of the old Granisle mine. The cloud he described as being "dome" shaped and luminous. Up here in the north it would have been just around dusk at the time he saw the dome shaped cloud, which I will add, seemed to have structure to it. There was no type of wind shear off the cloud itself. It was a perfect dome shape and extremely large in size. As the witness said, you couldn't miss it as it stood out clearly. At approximately 6:00-6:30 p.m. the gentleman dropped his mother off at her home and he was heading back to his place which is alongside the lake shore when he then noticed a light in the sky, which was moving horizontally. The man told me the light appeared to be thin and really long in length. The long skinny light was blue/blackish in color, similar to a black light, and his best guess as to the length of it would have been 1/4 mile.
As this object moved down the lake he was able to see how the lights were situated on the craft. At either end, they were somewhat brighter. As he looked along the entire length of the craft, he saw a bright patch, then dimmer, then bright again. This continued in the same pattern straight down the length of the object. Bright, dim, bright, dim. (I have added a "rough" graphic below of how this may have appeared.)

The object moved toward the dome shaped cloud, seemed to be above it, then that was the last sight of it before it disappeared. He said he was able to observe the blue colored object for about 10 to 15 minutes. What is interesting about this, is that the fellow told me the unusual cloud was parked over the mine all day. Also it was a lot darker than the surrounding clouds which were moving on by, as he mentioned, maybe more of an inky color. There was no sound whatsoever coming from the cloud, or the long blue craft.
HBCC UFO Research had a wonderful chat on the phone with two of the witnesses who gave a great description of what was seen that night.
HBCC UFO Research started making enquiries straight away and I called the local RCMP detachment here in Houston, British Columbia, I told the RCMP dispatcher who I was (Brian Vike - Director of HBCC UFO Research) and I asked if there were any emergency vehicles called out on the evening of November 29, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. to the Granisle area and including the stretch of highway running from Topley to Granisle. I wanted to see if the lights being reported to me from the eyewitnesses may have been emergency vehicles. I was told that I would have to check with one of the RCMP members who was stationed in Granisle. (The reason why I called the Houston detachment was that they fill in for the RCMP member at times and I thought they may have some information).

As it stands, there were no calls out to attend to any emergencies that night on the Granisle Highway. This eliminates the RCMP. I also called LDM (Lakes District Maintenance) and talked with one of the LDM workers at their headquarters here in Houston, B.C. as LDM looks after the maintenance for the Granisle Highway. I asked if there were any sanding trucks, road graders or snow plows on the Granisle Highway at the time of the UFO incident. I also told the man who I was, and why I was checking to see if they had any equipment working on the highway. I also stated that I was trying to eliminate the explainable before moving onto the weirdness. The LDM worker said I may as well start looking into the weirdness as he said there was only one truck out and "may" have been on the highway that night, but not at that particular time. He certainly stressed that they had no equipment that would have been as bright as what had been reported. Not meaning the blue flash, but speaking more of the orange lights that all the witnesses had seen. The orange lights spread out for a great distance horizontally. None of the lights were reported to be flashing at all !

I also called The Peak Radio station in Smithers, B.C. to see if they may have received any calls from folks who witnessed the unusual event, and no reports were called in to the newsroom.
Also I spoke to a lady at CJFW Radio which is located in Smithers as well. I talked with the receptionist and she mentioned that they took a call from a lady who lives in the Hazelton, B.C. area and who reported lights in the sky there. I was then put through to the newsroom and spoke to another lady about what had taken place and she also confirmed that a report did come into CJFW Radio.

Now after speaking to two of the witnesses, it seemed we had an extremely bright flash of blue light, followed immediately by a white object streaking downwards toward the ground. We are not talking about a white object at a high altitude, but rather something very low and from what the people told me who saw this, the object could have landed, or impacted on the ground. (however there was no physical evidence of that happening). Then there are the unusual lights, large non flashing and sitting pretty much directly in-front of the travelers. The driver of the truck said the lights were there and then either blinked out or just disappeared. HBCC UFO Research did ask if it was at all possible that they might have missed the lights as they passed the area in their truck and the driver and daughter said no "it was as if they had just completely disappeared". They had been right in front of their vehicle just yards down the road.
I also talked to the daughter who was in the truck that evening and witnessed the bright blue flash of light, but did not see the streaking white light. She did observe the orange colored lights, not blinking/flashing and she told me they must have been a great size because the area the lights took up was huge. The daughter also said that she was able to watch the strange lights move through the wooded area, behind trees, etc until they either tuned off and just disappeared.
HBCC UFO asked if there were any roads in the area where the lights were, and I was told no. No roads at all. It seems to me that something, or a white colored object of some kind came from out of the brilliant blue flash and headed down towards the ground, and what the witnesses were watching was the object moving itself through the forested area ahead of their truck just off to the side of the highway.
Did an unidentified craft land ? That is the big question, but it sure appears that something of an unknown nature did come down. No reports have been filed to the authorities at least at this time.
I talked to a lady in the Houston mall who told me that there were other witnesses besides these people who already reported the sighting, who also saw blue flashing lights and unknown lights that were stationary in the sky. More weirdness, more witnesses !

Telkwa, British Columbia (Green Flash Lights Up The Entire Night Sky)
Date: November 29, 2007
Time: Between 7:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
Location of Sighting: Near the Field and Stream Trailer Court.
Number of witnesses: 2
Number of objects: 0 (no objects witnessed, just bright green flash)
Shape of objects: The whole sky lit up.
Full Description of event/sighting: My son and I were driving back to Telkwa when we saw the clear night sky flash dimly green. We didn't see any objects, but after talking with (friends name removed), he told me what he read on your site. So I thought that I would check it out. I have written to environment Canada, with the hope that they could explain it as a natural thing. Anyway, I just thought that I would add what I saw. When I was a kid I saw this once before, but at that time it was snowing and everything lit up green. I didn't hear thunder when I saw it that time so I knew that it wasn't an electrical storm.
Anyways, I hope that Environment Canada will have some answers. Bye for now.

I also found out while looking into this case that a disk shaped craft was observed by two witnesses from their job site. Also reports of UFO's coming in and out of Babine Lake. Not to mention a possible missing time case I have now heard about as well. This all happening in and around Granisle, British Columbia.
Other witnesses observed a bright UFO hovering over a person's home in the Houston, B.C. area, this witnessed by a number of neighbors.
Over the years HBCC UFO Research has received some pretty amazing sighting reports from this general area. Is it the mineral from the mines that may be an attraction, or the huge body of water - Babine Lake. I guess one could speculate, but I am sure no answers would be easily found.
Houston, British Columbia UFO Hovering Over Tree Tops
Date: October 23 or 24th, 2007
Time: Just before daybreak (7:00-ish a.m.)
Since HBCC UFO Research was on the trail over the November 29, 2007 sightings and I started asking people I know around town if they knew anyone who had witnessed anything on the date of the major sightings. I ran into a couple of friends who did see something very unusual, but this goes back to October 23 or 24 of 2007.
A husband and wife were out on the old Equity Mine road which is just south east of the town of Houston. They parked their truck on a pull out alongside the road waiting for the sun to come up before starting to hunt. As they sat in the vehicle talking, they noticed one large ball of light, it was green and red and strobing. The object was pretty much stationary when they first saw it. This object was just a little bit lower than the tree tops with one of the mountains in the background. This of course threw out the idea of the object being a star of any kind. The lady told me the object was hovering between two tall evergreen trees, at times the object would move to the north and then back to the south in short hops, then back again between the two tall trees.
They watched this happen for about 10 minutes and then all of a sudden the UFO started to move directly upward, straight up until they completely lost view of it. The couple said it was wild seeing such a weird sight.
I listed a couple of the older, but interesting UFO sightings below from Granisle, British Columbia.
1. - Granisle, British Columbia A Large Glowing Orange Gold Saucer
Date: October 22, 2002 Time: 10:25 p.m.
(HBCC UFO Note: Granisle is a small town 45 minutes northeast from where I live in Houston, British Columbia, Canada. Granisle has a population of 400 residents and the main industries are tourism and logging. Once the site of a copper mine. (Granisle Copper & Bell Copper) who had two large open pit mines).
I was contacted by a gentleman ( RCMP Officer) recently who gave me quite a story. The witness was with another fellow driving north just a couple of kilometers south of Granisle, B.C. (their exact location when they viewed the craft was at Topley Landing). The two large forest companies here in Houston have a barge which runs back and forth across Babine Lake carrying logging trucks. The old Bell Copper mine is directly across the lake from the witnesses position. An approximate guess would be a 3/4 to 1 mile between the craft and the witnesses.
The officers observed a large glowing orange/gold almost saucer shaped (oval?) object hovering right over top the old Bell Copper mine. They said it was very low to the ground. At this point they pulled over to have a look and to try to figure out what they were seeing. As they watched the object hover, it would rise up very slowly and come to a complete stop, move sideways then stop and drop down roughly the same height from the ground when the witnesses first saw it. HBCC UFO Note: I asked if they witnessed any type of light coming from the object, meaning a downwards beam of light. They both told me no, no lights were seen coming from the object. They did say that it almost looked as if every time the object moved to another position and dropped back down, it seemed to them the light intensity grew from the object while it stayed stationary. At "one" point the object moved out over the lake and stopped for a few seconds, then went back over top the mine once again.
They mentioned they heard no sound at all, but keeping in mind that the two fellows were some distance away from the object when viewing it. (HBCC UFO Note: I asked them if they could give me an approximate size of this UFO). Their rough estimate was about the size of the Moon (maybe a hair smaller). They also said there were a few other cars and trucks that passed by them at the time, but no one stopped.
But they did say that everyone traveling the highway had to have seen it, you couldn't miss it. They said the area around the object, (ground area) was lit up for some distance. Also due to the brightness of the craft it cast it's reflection on the lake. The men watched this event for approximately 7 minutes before it rose up and left slowly heading north, still at a low altitude and out of their sight.
(HBCC UFO Note: I found this a very interesting case to work on. Three things came to mind. Why was this craft sitting over the old Granisle/ Bell Copper mine? Why did it move and stop over top of the lake? Why did the intensity seem to grow when it moved to a new position and hover? Actually I have a million questions I could think of to ask, but who? I am not sure if I can gain access to the mine, but I am going to check into it, as I would love to take a drive out to have a look around. Also something to keep in mind, Granisle Copper & Bell Copper mine's sit on an island on Babine Lake. Since the mines have been closed for sometime it may be hard to get onto the property.
Also rumors have been floating around that one of the companies were thinking of going back in and high grading the remaining ore. One other note to this story which may be of interest. On the mine site there have been a good number of fossils found, one which has brought a lot of attention has been the Mammoth. Bones have been found, and also were buried by the mine some time ago when it was in operation. From a newspaper article in the Smithers Interior newspaper a while back the company thought it best to not have their mining operation stopped, or slowed down by having folks digging for these fossils.
2. - Did The Same Golden UFO Return To Granisle?
Date: December 27, 2002 Time: approx: 2:10 a.m.
I had a telephone call from a nice fellow who reported that he, and three other co-workers were doing some last minute work around the logging camp which is located across Babine Lake, just across the lake from Granisle, British Columbia. One of the workers gave out a loud cry telling the other workers to look into the direction he was pointing to. Approximately a half kilometer away from their location, which would have been to the north. The men all witnessed a bright, white/yellowish light coming from behind the trees in the distance. At this point all that was visible was a brightness shining above the trees.
(HBCC UFO note:) I know the area well as I have spent a lot of time fishing the lakes in the area, and there is nothing out there other than forest, lakes and streams. Of course cut blocks which are being logged. I asked the fellow if there may have been logging equipment working in the area where the light was seen coming from, using their bright lights to log and harvest the timber. He said no ! The loggers were making ready the area/camp for logging to start up again after the holiday season, so no loggers were operating.
After dropping everything the men were doing, watching and wondering what this glowing light was, to their shock a large glowing golden/orange-ish disk shaped object with a large halo of white around the craft rose up in the distance and stopped and hovered. I was told they observed the object for approximately 10 seconds at the most, which the fellow said seemed like a life time. As the object moved away from their location, heading roughly to the north they did lose sight of the craft quickly, but after losing sight of the object they still could see the bright light, which they figured was the light which was given off from the craft for some time. (approx: 5 minutes after seeing the object). The light grew faint and disappeared.

Also since we are rapidly coming closer to the end of another year, 2007. I thought I would place the total number of reported sightings for Canada for 2007. Although we still have the rest of December to go, things have slowed down dramatically as UFO sightings have done all around the world. Winter is upon us and sighting reports do drop off.
Total number of Canadian reported sightings so far for 2007 is 434 cases. (There are actually more reported sightings, but these are not added to this tally due to reports not being written up from telephone interviews. This, at least gives you a rough idea of what HBCC UFO Research and UFOINFO pulled in for Canada in 2007.

HBCC UFO Research at http://www.hbccufo.org and UFOINFO at http://www.ufoinfo.com/ together have received 434 written (and audio) UFO sighting reports from January 1, up until December 10, 2007 and there possibly may be a few more to come before the end of this month. But this is where we stand right now. Not included in the total number of reports is approximately 41 telephone interviews which HBCC UFO Research did and the reports have not been written up as of yet, these would include sightings from British Columbia, Ontario, Alberta, Nova Scotia, Quebec and Manitoba.
First of all as I stated when I released some numbers back in August 2007, reports varied from meteors, fireballs, aircraft, stars, planets and of course the really unidentified craft. Hence UFOs. All I am doing is giving a total number of "reports" that have come into us both. Not breaking anything down into categories, etc.
Also, keep in mind that many other UFO groups across Canada, United States and other countries who have received a Canadian report will I am sure send in their Canadian cases at the end of the year for the survey.
Ontario still leads the Canadian provinces with a whopping 191 reported sightings, followed by British Columbia with 136 cases. Between HBCC UFO Research and UFOINFO alone "just" broke the number of reports for all of 2006 which were sent in from all groups. So Ontario had a good year for sightings of explainable and unknowns.

Hazelton, British Columbia - Major UFO Sighting.
A little History on Hazelton, B.C. - Hazelton is a small town located at the junction of the Bulkley and Skeena Rivers in northern British Columbia, Canada. It was founded in 1866 and has a population of approximately, 1,356. New Hazelton is also the northern most point of the Yellowhead Highway, a major interprovincial highway which runs from Prince Rupert, British Columbia to Winnipeg, Manitoba.
The Hazelton area is comprised of two municipalities (the Village of Hazelton and District of New Hazelton), three unincorporated settlements (South Hazelton, Two Mile and the Kispiox Valley), and four First Nations’ Villages (Gitanmaax, Hagwilget, Glen Vowell and Kispiox).
On November 29, 2007 at 4:30 a.m. to approximately 9:00 a.m. on a ranch in Hazelton, British Columbia a man woke up in the early hours of the morning, looked out one of the windows of his home to spot something very unusual in the morning sky. He watched for a while then went and grabbed his spotting scope. What he witnessed through his scope took him by surprise. It was a huge ball of extremely bright white light, which turned out to be a "large" cigar shaped craft hovering in the sky over his ranch. The craft did move from time to time to a different part of the sky, but never really leaving the ranch area. At one point it moved over top of, and sat stationary half way down a mountain on the ranch called Roche Debulle. (Pictures of the mountain and ranch are included in links which were provided by the witness's sister).
Hazelton, British Columbia UFO Sighting
Before I write down the eyewitness account of what was seen, I should note that the sister of the witness wrote an email to me over the event. She lives down on the lower mainland outside of Vancouver, B.C. In her email she told me the date of the sighting, which was on November 29, 2007 and the time was from 4:30 a.m. to approximately 9:00 a.m., which would have been daylight hours just before 9:00 a.m.
Her sister's email report to me was short as she gave her telephone number so I could call and talk to her personally about what her brother saw.

Sister's full description of event/sighting: Good morning Brian, I've never heard of you until my girlfriend found your site after I was telling her what happened the other night (which was up north here in Hazelton, British Columbia). I live in Ladner, BC. My brother lives in Hazelton. My brother called me at 5:00 a.m. and I was on the phone with him until approximately 8:00 a.m. He watched as a craft hovered low on his ranch for about 4 hours. Other crafts, a total of seven zipped all around, what we are calling the command ship which remained on the ranch and in plain view the entire time.

HBCC UFO Research Note: The lady's brother phoned and woke his sister up at 5:00 a.m. This shows how exciting and amazing the sighting was over the man's ranch, they both stayed on the telephone for 3 hours, finally hanging up and later just after 9:00 a.m. the brother called his sister back to say the objects had left the area. Fascinating !
I telephoned the fellow who witnessed a sighting of multiple objects in Hazelton and got his feedback on what was seen.
The witness was at home on his ranch and had fallen asleep on his couch. At around 4:30 a.m. he woke up, but he told me he wasn't really asleep, more like just laying there hoping to catch a nap. The fellow decided to get up and head upstairs to his bedroom and flicked the TV on and immediately tuned it off and jumped into his bed. In his bedroom he has a large picture window which looks over his ranch. The man says it is beautiful land, as he can see his ranch, horses and Roche Debulle (mountain).
He said it was a clear night and he was looking up at the night sky when he saw 4 to 7 objects, which were up at a good altitude and had red and green lights on them. As he watched, and looking over towards a foothill on his ranch he noticed an extremely bright light which also was very large in size. The man watched it for a good period of time and eventually it moved over top his property and stopped and hovered. I asked the witness roughly how low the object was, and he told me it was about half the height of Roche Debulle which is a beautiful mountain at the back of his property. (What ever this craft was, it was really low in altitude)
The witness said this low hovering main craft was just a big yellow colored light until he brought out his spotting scope and was able to really see some kind of shape to it. It turns out this object was like a giant cigar. All the other six objects which were green and red in color sat stationary much higher above and in a straight line across the night sky.
Due to the main crafts brightness he only saw a ball shaped light. It was only when he used his spotting scope that he could actually see shape to the object.
He was afraid to take his eyes off the thing just in case he missed something, but did eventually move down stairs to make a cup of coffee and was still able to observe the object from his kitchen window and it still sat there for a long time afterwards. Finally dawn started to break and when night turned to day the craft rose up, straight upwards and eventually just disappeared. The man told me he was able to watch the craft rising up until he wasn't able to view it anymore. As for the line of colored objects, they seemed to disappear due to the oncoming brightness from the daylight. That was it, an amazing UFO event !

Granisle, British Columbia - Major UFO Sighting.
A little History on Granisle, B.C. - The early inhabitants of the area were Carrier Indians, called "Babine" by the early explorers, referring to the distended ornamented lower lips of the native women.
The village of Granisle was founded in the late 1960's and early 1970's on the shores of Babine Lake as a home for the families of the miners working in the nearby copper mines. At the height of its population, Granisle boasted approximately 3,000 people.
After the last mine shut down in 1992, the community transformed into a retirement destination. Tourism in the area also began to grow and is now the area's main industry.
In 1971 workmen excavating in an open-pit copper mine at Babine Lake discovered the partly articulated skeleton of a Columbian Mammoth. The bones were taken from silty pond deposits overlain by very thick boulder-clay deposited by the last glacier that covered the area. Radiocarbon dates indicate that the animal sank in sticky pond deposits about 34,000 years ago. A replica of some of the Mammoth's Bones can be seen at the Granisle Museum.
Also Babine Lake is the largest natural lake in all of British Columbia.
A major UFO event took place on November 29, 2007 along the Granisle Hwy, close to the lookout. Three witnesses were driving home from the Topley, B.C. area which is located just south of Granisle. The highway driving wasn't the best with slippery sections of compact snow and some black ice. As the witnesses approached the Granisle lookout, just a short distance south from it, fog rolled in and a bright explosion (no sound) lit up the whole sky, their truck on the highway and surrounding area. It was like night was turned into day for a brief second or two.
When HBCC UFO Research first read the report, or the first sentence in the emailed sighting report I thought the witnesses may have seen a fireball. But from talking to two of the eyewitnesses it became clear to me that what they saw was rather unusual and not something easily explainable.
Right after the blue flash lit up the area a streak of white light shot out of the sky towards the ground on the witnesses right hand side of the vehicle. "It was very strange and surreal", the witness told me. The folks continued on driving and then came across a whole set of orange and red lights in front of them. (keep in mind the white streak of light shot out of the sky, downward and appeared to be in front of them). The colored lights looked like they were in front of them on the hill. Then just disappeared before they got to it seconds later. There was no other traffic on the highway at the time of the event. One of the people wanted to go back and see if they could find anything, but the other two passengers in their vehicle were too frightened so they continued on their way to home to Granisle.
Second Witness To Granisle, B.C. (A little earlier in the day and independent from everyone else)
I called back to another eyewitness, a fellow who resides in Granisle, B.C. What he saw was completely unusual. On November 29, 2007 at approximately 5:00 - 5:30 p.m. when the fellow witnessed a very strange cloud formation which seemed to have parked itself directly over top of the old Granisle mine. The cloud he described as being "dome" shaped and luminous. Up here in the north it would have been just around dusk at the time he saw the dome shaped cloud, which I will add, seemed to have structure to it. There was no type of wind shear off the cloud itself. It was a perfect dome shape and extremely large in size. As the witness said, you couldn't miss it as it stood out clearly. At approximately 6:00-6:30 p.m. the gentleman dropped his mother off at her home and he was heading back to his place which is alongside the lake shore when he then noticed a light in the sky, which was moving horizontally. The man told me the light appeared to be thin and really long in length. The long skinny light was blue/blackish in color, similar to a black light, and his best guess as to the length of it would have been 1/4 mile.
As this object moved down the lake he was able to see how the lights were situated on the craft. At either end, they were somewhat brighter. As he looked along the entire length of the craft, he saw a bright patch, then dimmer, then bright again. This continued in the same pattern straight down the length of the object. Bright, dim, bright, dim. (I have added a "rough" graphic below of how this may have appeared.)

The object moved toward the dome shaped cloud, seemed to be above it, then that was the last sight of it before it disappeared. He said he was able to observe the blue colored object for about 10 to 15 minutes. What is interesting about this, is that the fellow told me the unusual cloud was parked over the mine all day. Also it was a lot darker than the surrounding clouds which were moving on by, as he mentioned, maybe more of an inky color. There was no sound whatsoever coming from the cloud, or the long blue craft.
HBCC UFO Research had a wonderful chat on the phone with two of the witnesses who gave a great description of what was seen that night.
HBCC UFO Research started making enquiries straight away and I called the local RCMP detachment here in Houston, British Columbia, I told the RCMP dispatcher who I was (Brian Vike - Director of HBCC UFO Research) and I asked if there were any emergency vehicles called out on the evening of November 29, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. to the Granisle area and including the stretch of highway running from Topley to Granisle. I wanted to see if the lights being reported to me from the eyewitnesses may have been emergency vehicles. I was told that I would have to check with one of the RCMP members who was stationed in Granisle. (The reason why I called the Houston detachment was that they fill in for the RCMP member at times and I thought they may have some information).

As it stands, there were no calls out to attend to any emergencies that night on the Granisle Highway. This eliminates the RCMP. I also called LDM (Lakes District Maintenance) and talked with one of the LDM workers at their headquarters here in Houston, B.C. as LDM looks after the maintenance for the Granisle Highway. I asked if there were any sanding trucks, road graders or snow plows on the Granisle Highway at the time of the UFO incident. I also told the man who I was, and why I was checking to see if they had any equipment working on the highway. I also stated that I was trying to eliminate the explainable before moving onto the weirdness. The LDM worker said I may as well start looking into the weirdness as he said there was only one truck out and "may" have been on the highway that night, but not at that particular time. He certainly stressed that they had no equipment that would have been as bright as what had been reported. Not meaning the blue flash, but speaking more of the orange lights that all the witnesses had seen. The orange lights spread out for a great distance horizontally. None of the lights were reported to be flashing at all !

I also called The Peak Radio station in Smithers, B.C. to see if they may have received any calls from folks who witnessed the unusual event, and no reports were called in to the newsroom.
Also I spoke to a lady at CJFW Radio which is located in Smithers as well. I talked with the receptionist and she mentioned that they took a call from a lady who lives in the Hazelton, B.C. area and who reported lights in the sky there. I was then put through to the newsroom and spoke to another lady about what had taken place and she also confirmed that a report did come into CJFW Radio.

Now after speaking to two of the witnesses, it seemed we had an extremely bright flash of blue light, followed immediately by a white object streaking downwards toward the ground. We are not talking about a white object at a high altitude, but rather something very low and from what the people told me who saw this, the object could have landed, or impacted on the ground. (however there was no physical evidence of that happening). Then there are the unusual lights, large non flashing and sitting pretty much directly in-front of the travelers. The driver of the truck said the lights were there and then either blinked out or just disappeared. HBCC UFO Research did ask if it was at all possible that they might have missed the lights as they passed the area in their truck and the driver and daughter said no "it was as if they had just completely disappeared". They had been right in front of their vehicle just yards down the road.
I also talked to the daughter who was in the truck that evening and witnessed the bright blue flash of light, but did not see the streaking white light. She did observe the orange colored lights, not blinking/flashing and she told me they must have been a great size because the area the lights took up was huge. The daughter also said that she was able to watch the strange lights move through the wooded area, behind trees, etc until they either tuned off and just disappeared.
HBCC UFO asked if there were any roads in the area where the lights were, and I was told no. No roads at all. It seems to me that something, or a white colored object of some kind came from out of the brilliant blue flash and headed down towards the ground, and what the witnesses were watching was the object moving itself through the forested area ahead of their truck just off to the side of the highway.
Did an unidentified craft land ? That is the big question, but it sure appears that something of an unknown nature did come down. No reports have been filed to the authorities at least at this time.
I talked to a lady in the Houston mall who told me that there were other witnesses besides these people who already reported the sighting, who also saw blue flashing lights and unknown lights that were stationary in the sky. More weirdness, more witnesses !

Full Description of event/sighting: My son and I were driving back to Telkwa when we saw the clear night sky flash dimly green. We didn't see any objects, but after talking with (friends name removed), he told me what he read on your site. So I thought that I would check it out. I have written to environment Canada, with the hope that they could explain it as a natural thing. Anyway, I just thought that I would add what I saw. When I was a kid I saw this once before, but at that time it was snowing and everything lit up green. I didn't hear thunder when I saw it that time so I knew that it wasn't an electrical storm.
Anyways, I hope that Environment Canada will have some answers. Bye for now.

I also found out while looking into this case that a disk shaped craft was observed by two witnesses from their job site. Also reports of UFO's coming in and out of Babine Lake. Not to mention a possible missing time case I have now heard about as well. This all happening in and around Granisle, British Columbia.
Other witnesses observed a bright UFO hovering over a person's home in the Houston, B.C. area, this witnessed by a number of neighbors.
Over the years HBCC UFO Research has received some pretty amazing sighting reports from this general area. Is it the mineral from the mines that may be an attraction, or the huge body of water - Babine Lake. I guess one could speculate, but I am sure no answers would be easily found.
Houston, British Columbia UFO Hovering Over Tree Tops
Date: October 23 or 24th, 2007
Time: Just before daybreak (7:00-ish a.m.)
Since HBCC UFO Research was on the trail over the November 29, 2007 sightings and I started asking people I know around town if they knew anyone who had witnessed anything on the date of the major sightings. I ran into a couple of friends who did see something very unusual, but this goes back to October 23 or 24 of 2007.
A husband and wife were out on the old Equity Mine road which is just south east of the town of Houston. They parked their truck on a pull out alongside the road waiting for the sun to come up before starting to hunt. As they sat in the vehicle talking, they noticed one large ball of light, it was green and red and strobing. The object was pretty much stationary when they first saw it. This object was just a little bit lower than the tree tops with one of the mountains in the background. This of course threw out the idea of the object being a star of any kind. The lady told me the object was hovering between two tall evergreen trees, at times the object would move to the north and then back to the south in short hops, then back again between the two tall trees.
They watched this happen for about 10 minutes and then all of a sudden the UFO started to move directly upward, straight up until they completely lost view of it. The couple said it was wild seeing such a weird sight.
I listed a couple of the older, but interesting UFO sightings below from Granisle, British Columbia.
1. - Granisle, British Columbia A Large Glowing Orange Gold Saucer
Date: October 22, 2002 Time: 10:25 p.m.
(HBCC UFO Note: Granisle is a small town 45 minutes northeast from where I live in Houston, British Columbia, Canada. Granisle has a population of 400 residents and the main industries are tourism and logging. Once the site of a copper mine. (Granisle Copper & Bell Copper) who had two large open pit mines).
I was contacted by a gentleman ( RCMP Officer) recently who gave me quite a story. The witness was with another fellow driving north just a couple of kilometers south of Granisle, B.C. (their exact location when they viewed the craft was at Topley Landing). The two large forest companies here in Houston have a barge which runs back and forth across Babine Lake carrying logging trucks. The old Bell Copper mine is directly across the lake from the witnesses position. An approximate guess would be a 3/4 to 1 mile between the craft and the witnesses.
The officers observed a large glowing orange/gold almost saucer shaped (oval?) object hovering right over top the old Bell Copper mine. They said it was very low to the ground. At this point they pulled over to have a look and to try to figure out what they were seeing. As they watched the object hover, it would rise up very slowly and come to a complete stop, move sideways then stop and drop down roughly the same height from the ground when the witnesses first saw it. HBCC UFO Note: I asked if they witnessed any type of light coming from the object, meaning a downwards beam of light. They both told me no, no lights were seen coming from the object. They did say that it almost looked as if every time the object moved to another position and dropped back down, it seemed to them the light intensity grew from the object while it stayed stationary. At "one" point the object moved out over the lake and stopped for a few seconds, then went back over top the mine once again.
They mentioned they heard no sound at all, but keeping in mind that the two fellows were some distance away from the object when viewing it. (HBCC UFO Note: I asked them if they could give me an approximate size of this UFO). Their rough estimate was about the size of the Moon (maybe a hair smaller). They also said there were a few other cars and trucks that passed by them at the time, but no one stopped.
But they did say that everyone traveling the highway had to have seen it, you couldn't miss it. They said the area around the object, (ground area) was lit up for some distance. Also due to the brightness of the craft it cast it's reflection on the lake. The men watched this event for approximately 7 minutes before it rose up and left slowly heading north, still at a low altitude and out of their sight.
(HBCC UFO Note: I found this a very interesting case to work on. Three things came to mind. Why was this craft sitting over the old Granisle/ Bell Copper mine? Why did it move and stop over top of the lake? Why did the intensity seem to grow when it moved to a new position and hover? Actually I have a million questions I could think of to ask, but who? I am not sure if I can gain access to the mine, but I am going to check into it, as I would love to take a drive out to have a look around. Also something to keep in mind, Granisle Copper & Bell Copper mine's sit on an island on Babine Lake. Since the mines have been closed for sometime it may be hard to get onto the property.
Also rumors have been floating around that one of the companies were thinking of going back in and high grading the remaining ore. One other note to this story which may be of interest. On the mine site there have been a good number of fossils found, one which has brought a lot of attention has been the Mammoth. Bones have been found, and also were buried by the mine some time ago when it was in operation. From a newspaper article in the Smithers Interior newspaper a while back the company thought it best to not have their mining operation stopped, or slowed down by having folks digging for these fossils.
2. - Did The Same Golden UFO Return To Granisle?
Date: December 27, 2002 Time: approx: 2:10 a.m.
I had a telephone call from a nice fellow who reported that he, and three other co-workers were doing some last minute work around the logging camp which is located across Babine Lake, just across the lake from Granisle, British Columbia. One of the workers gave out a loud cry telling the other workers to look into the direction he was pointing to. Approximately a half kilometer away from their location, which would have been to the north. The men all witnessed a bright, white/yellowish light coming from behind the trees in the distance. At this point all that was visible was a brightness shining above the trees.
(HBCC UFO note:) I know the area well as I have spent a lot of time fishing the lakes in the area, and there is nothing out there other than forest, lakes and streams. Of course cut blocks which are being logged. I asked the fellow if there may have been logging equipment working in the area where the light was seen coming from, using their bright lights to log and harvest the timber. He said no ! The loggers were making ready the area/camp for logging to start up again after the holiday season, so no loggers were operating.
After dropping everything the men were doing, watching and wondering what this glowing light was, to their shock a large glowing golden/orange-ish disk shaped object with a large halo of white around the craft rose up in the distance and stopped and hovered. I was told they observed the object for approximately 10 seconds at the most, which the fellow said seemed like a life time. As the object moved away from their location, heading roughly to the north they did lose sight of the craft quickly, but after losing sight of the object they still could see the bright light, which they figured was the light which was given off from the craft for some time. (approx: 5 minutes after seeing the object). The light grew faint and disappeared.

Also since we are rapidly coming closer to the end of another year, 2007. I thought I would place the total number of reported sightings for Canada for 2007. Although we still have the rest of December to go, things have slowed down dramatically as UFO sightings have done all around the world. Winter is upon us and sighting reports do drop off.
Total number of Canadian reported sightings so far for 2007 is 434 cases. (There are actually more reported sightings, but these are not added to this tally due to reports not being written up from telephone interviews. This, at least gives you a rough idea of what HBCC UFO Research and UFOINFO pulled in for Canada in 2007.

But this is where we stand right now. Not included in the total number of reports is approximately 41 telephone interviews which HBCC UFO Research did and the reports have not been written up as of yet, these would include sightings from British Columbia, Ontario, Alberta, Nova Scotia, Quebec and Manitoba.
First of all as I stated when I released some numbers back in August 2007, reports varied from meteors, fireballs, aircraft, stars, planets and of course the really unidentified craft. Hence UFOs. All I am doing is giving a total number of "reports" that have come into us both. Not breaking anything down into categories, etc.
Also, keep in mind that many other UFO groups across Canada, United States and other countries who have received a Canadian report will I am sure send in their Canadian cases at the end of the year for the survey.
Ontario still leads the Canadian provinces with a whopping 191 reported sightings, followed by British Columbia with 136 cases. Between HBCC UFO Research and UFOINFO alone "just" broke the number of reports for all of 2006 which were sent in from all groups. So Ontario had a good year for sightings of explainable and unknowns.

Red Light Traveling Over The Water Nova Scotia Canada

I was reading one of the stories on this page, I read one about a 18 year old girl that witnessed a group of lights. I have a similar story, my cousin and I at the age of 14, this was a few years ago. We were all by ourselves on a island out in the Bay of Fundy by Digby. We were staying up late waiting for the tide to go down to cross the sandbar to get back to shore when I was looking across the bay towards Annapolis and noticed a red light. I pointed it out to my cousin and we watched it for a couple minutes. It was coming across the water at a fairly good speed and as it got closer me and my cousin we are starting to get anxious because we had a fire and thought it might be the coast guard. We hid in the bushes watching this red light coming closer and closer. It was about 150 meters out in the water heading in-front of the island towards Digby.
When the light reached in between the mountains AKA the Digby Gut, there was nothing underneath it. No sound, no waves, not a sound at all. Confusion and panic swept over us. Once the light got around the island we couldn't see it, so we walked farther around the bend to find it gone. This would have been about 5 years ago. When it first happened I searched on the internet to find similar stories, but I didn't find that many. But over the years I have noticed a amazing increase in stories around the Annapolis Valley and surrounding areas. I hope some day in the future we will have a understanding what is happening around us.

Lake Of Bays Muskoka, Ontario A Large Purple Rotating Spiral

Full Description of event/sighting: Even though this was a long time ago I felt should report it because I have since seen videos very similar to what I saw. Specifically a video of a white spiral in Russia identical in everything but colour and duration. I have a cottage in Muskoka where my family sometimes go in the winter. My family had all gone to bed and I was lying on the dock looking at the stars. All of a sudden there was a large, purple, slowly rotating spiral. It was quite large compared to anything else in the sky, a circle about half the size of the moon, at least. This was a very clearly cut, brightly coloured, perfect spiral. It stayed in the sky slowly rotating and then simply disappeared after an hour of me lying in the snow trying to figure out what exactly I was looking at.
I'm not sure if there is much else to tell but I am interested to see how many spiral sightings there have been.

Specifically a video of a white spiral in Russia identical in everything but colour and duration. I have a cottage in Muskoka where my family sometimes go in the winter. My family had all gone to bed and I was lying on the dock looking at the stars. All of a sudden there was a large, purple, slowly rotating spiral. It was quite large compared to anything else in the sky, a circle about half the size of the moon, at least. This was a very clearly cut, brightly coloured, perfect spiral. It stayed in the sky slowly rotating and then simply disappeared after an hour of me lying in the snow trying to figure out what exactly I was looking at.
I'm not sure if there is much else to tell but I am interested to see how many spiral sightings there have been.

Trout Creek, Ontario Huge Glowing Object On The Property

Date: August 1998.
Time: 2:00 - 2:30 a.m.
Number of witnesses: 1
Number of objects: 1
Shape of objects: It was taller and wider than the house, giant with orange lights, not glowing but flickering which may of been all the trees in front of it from the leaves. It seemed either round or slightly oval but it being black outside and it being in the bush where I lived I could not make out the dimensions nor the actual shape.
Weather Conditions: Clear, warm.
Description: A friend called for me to pick them up in North Bay. I lived in the bush just west of Trout Creek. I went directly to my truck and once outside rather fast, as wild animals roam at night in the bush where I lived. I settled my baby into the car seat from us both entering from the drivers side. As I put the key in the ignition, my eyes caught a huge glow of orange from the bush on the northwest corner of the property about 200 yard from where I sat. My first reaction was a fire, but no smoke, no smell, no spreading, no sparks etc. It was too late to be the sun going down or coming up and I checked the land survey since and the sun would never be in that position rising nor at 2:30 am. All this raced through my head in seconds. It didn't seem to move but it may of been hovering. Though there is a small clearing about where it was, I could not go out and look, but I did think about driving up the little back road in front of me, but I was pressed for time and figured since the forest isn't on fire I will check when I come back.

Whistler, British Columbia Triangular Formation Of 20-30 Objects

Time: Approximately 9:20 p.m.
Number of witnesses: Lots, 2 in our car but other friends saw it.
Number of objects: It looked like a triangular shape of 20/30 shooting stars. The first one being the brightest.
Shape of objects: Triangle, no craft scene.
Weather Conditions: Clear night.
Description: on Friday November 14th, a friend and I were driving down the highway in Whistler, B.C. (Highway 99--Sea to Sky) and saw what looked like roman candles being sent off on the side of the mountain.
When these objects kept on coming and where very straight in their direction, we pulled over the car and stared in disbelief as this majestic sight was obviously not from this world. It was definitely unidentified, it was certainly flying, and it was an object, or what looked like a synchronized cluster of shooting stars.
The object was flying up Howe Sound, heading North East as it was flying up from the Vancouver area and it was flying so low that I thought that it was going to hit Wedge Mountain as it flew over top. The sight was amazing and incredibly silent.
In Whistler, we have a yearly tradition that's called a "Praise Ullr" party, we all get together for an outdoor bonfire and pray to the snow gods to have a good snow year on the mountain. The sighting occurred on that night.
TV/Radio: Tried to Contact CNN and others, was reported locally.
