A Metallic Spherical Object/UFO In The Sky Over Magallanes Bridge Manila Philippines

Brian Vike's Favorite Cases.

Date:  October - November 2006

Time:  8:00 - 9:00 a.m.

Location of Sighting: Magallanes Bridge, Manila, Philippines.

Number of witnesses: 1
Number of objects: 1
Shape of objects: Spherical.

Full Description of event/sighting: I was on a bus when I saw a metallic spherical object floating in the sky. It looks stationary and was just about at the side of a building.

When the bus got to the bridge the object was covered from sight by the building. After we passed the bridge I looked backed again to where I saw it and the metallic object was gone. I'm sure that it was not a plane because its spherical and it was not moving. It also looks like it was very close to the building.

Thank you to the witness for their report.

Amazing UFO Hovers Above The Mountainside Bridge River Lillooet British Columbia

Brian Vike's Favorite Cases.

Some of the sighting reports I will be posting are cases from past years. I found this report as well as others fascinating, also the person, in this case, Sourdough Sue Ward was such a delight and very interesting to speak to in a telephone conversation. This like other cases are buried in my Canada UFO Blog so I figured I would post some of my favorites.

 Winter of 1966,

Time 9:00 p.m.

Dear Brian, In 1966, finding myself alone, except for the family cat, Caboodle, after the family breakup and ultimate divorce, I traveled up the Fraser River Canyon to the small village of Lillooet, two hundred road miles north of Vancouver.

My former C.O. from my Army days, (name deleted), lived in a mobile home and worked with (name deleted) on her Bridge River-Lillooet News. I joined them, and having spent a month living over The News Office with (name deleted), I learned I could rent a dandy suite overlooking the Fraser River Canyon.

The sliding doors opened onto a wide sun deck. The P.G.E. rails were just beyond the fence at the end of the lot. When the 110 car freights rumbled by I was face to face with the engineers. I used to try to list the many boxcars, the rolling stock of railroads from all over North America in those pre computer days.

At nights no lights shone from the few homes scattered on the bench land below, on the other side of the tracks. The highway connecting Lillooet with the outside world was on the far side of the river. Came the darkness, the valley was pitch black except for the odd set of headlights of cars traveling into town. There was no road on the mountainside which loomed up on the town side of the canyon.

One winter Friday night my friend had walked over for a visit. The folks in the adjoining suite had the TV on for the Dean Martin Show which aired at 9:00 p.m. My friend relaxed in an easy chair from which she could see out through the sliding doors. I sat opposite on the chesterfield, too far back to share her view. As we chatted, she suddenly, turned her head, and, staring out through the glass door, exclaimed in a sharp voice, "What's that ?"

I jumped up quickly to share her excitement and immediately saw a huge red swirling ball with flaring red orange flaming edges coming towards us from above the west side mountain.

Grabbing the glass door catch I shouted "let's get out onto the deck," which we did. As we stood side by side, we watched the whirling fire ball hurdle towards us, so fast that we both ducked down, putting our hands on our heads as we truly expected to be hit as it crashed upon us. But, as we crouched and watched, the thing hovered "just above the mountainside" so to speak, spinning and flaring, to right, to left, to right again, for a few seconds.

It hesitated on the final jerk to the right, then in erratic short jumps, still spinning and flaring, it began to recede, grow smaller, to nothing, back into the sky from whence it had come.

We returned to the room, quite shaken up, and my friend snapped, "Exactly what did we see ?"

I put into words much as I have in this account, using my extended arm to describe the movement. "Exactly !" she snapped.

Being Friday night with everything closed for the weekend, we had no way of finding out if anyone else had shared the sight. The news was being printed, not in Lillooet, but in Fort St. John at Ma'sson Dan's newspaper shop, so nothing was "of the moment"

By the time the weekend was over and folks were back on the job, we felt rather foolish in speaking of our UFO encounter. Had we not rushed to the sun deck, causing us to be physically involved, had we just focused and seen it with our sight, we may well have pondered if we had seen it at all.

I recall when I saw the movie "Strange Encounters" some years back I thought the UFO props were not nearly as exciting as what we had shared on that Friday night in Lillooet, B.C.

It is now August 20, 2000 and in Houston Newspaper, Wednesday 9 August 2000 one Brian Vike is asking for news of any sightings "past or present" and as my friend passed on at 83, years ago, and I am now living in (location deleted) on the shore of (location deleted) at age 87, I decided to pass on our joint experience of that special Friday night in Lillooet. My friend would truly approve !

My many thanks and warm wishes to Sourdough Sue Ward and her friend.

Sue's colorful name comes from her adventures in Dawson City, Yukon.

Names and location of course are deleted to protect their privacy.

Rainbow Effect Seen From Skyway Bridge From Grimsby To Burlington Ontario

Date:  October 2, 2012
Time:  7:00 p.m.

Number of Objects: 1
Shape of Objects: Vertical.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: Wish I could have taken a picture of this, but I was driving across the Skyway Bridge from Grimsby to Burlington, Ontario on October 2, 2012 at about 7:00 p.m.

There was a vertical glowing light in the southwestern area high in the sky. It was a lightly cloudy time, but no dark clouds were near it. It was skinny and long and almost looked reddish at the base, like fire.

At first I thought it was the emissions from a jet, but it seemed odd that it was completely vertical and it didn't linger. It did not change in size for quite a while.

I'd say about 10 minutes and slowly got smaller until I got off the highway at North Shore.

I couldn't see it any more.

I only found one reference to a sighting on the same evening and here is the link to that. http://www.theweathernetwork.com/your_weather/details/620/7919828/hamilton/upload/0/787?ref=ugc_yourweather_search

Orange Light Seen Over Stanley Bridge Prince Edward Island

Date:  August 18, 2012
Time:  Approx: 10:00 p.m.

I am in Stanley Bridge PEI. At around 10:00 p.m. I too saw an orange, triangular shaped, light pass directly above our house.

We had some cloud cover and this object was flying under the clouds.

It was traveling northeast about as fast as a turbo prop. It's light was continuous, no flashing as an aircraft would. It had no tail or trail of any kind. It was absolutely silent.

I was with a friend who saw this also. Cheers.

Bright Objects Over Silver Bridge In Pitt Meadows British Columbia

Date: August 14, 2010
Time: Evening.

Last Saturday, me and a couple of friends were outside watching the stars and we saw something very similar to your article. The lights were not blue, red and white though. They were only white and brighter than anything else in the sky. They were about an inch or less apart and did not separate or move closer together. We watched them for a little less than a minute and then started to fade out and then completely vanished. This was at Silver Bridge in Pitt Meadows.

If you have seen anything like this in the same area please be kind enough to contact Brian Vike at: sighting@telus.net with the details of your sighting. All personal information is kept confidential.

Multiple UFOs Downtown Vancouver British Columbia Above Cambie Street Bridge (Pictures)

Date: May 4, 2010
Time: 10:30 a.m.

Location of Sighting: Downtown Vancouver - above Cambie Street Bridge.
Number of witnesses: 15-20 people
Number of Objects: Approx 40-50
Shape of Objects: Round.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: Bright round and moving/dancing lights in the sky.

I was downtown with my kids watching the deflation of our air-filled football stadium which started at 10:00am. The weather was clear, very nice and sunny. The sky was blue with a some puffs of clouds here and there. Around 10:30am, a helicopter flew over, I looked up and beyond/above it, I noticed bright round lights.

It was shocking to see so many lights moving around way above the clouds. I'm not into sci-fi or Star Trek, so thinking this was some sort of UFO sighting didn't even dawn on me. I had a camera and started to take pictures as I knew this was something odd.

These lights were moving around with smooth movements, as if they were doing a show. They were definitely not planes or helicopters because they didn't fly like either one. The lights moved around in various (almost deliberate) directions, looking like they were making formations of star constellations. I clearly saw a 'mini' big dipper in the mass of lights. This entire globular round shaped mass group of lights (at least 40+ of them) were right above us and they were flying around en masse, in a circular shape.

People suggested they were balloons released and trapped in high winds or that they were birds, this is not logical to me because these objects stayed the same size, they moved individually in a propelled type motion and they didn't disappear into the sky as balloons would. The objects also stayed the same brightness, almost like looking up at a bunch of LED lights shining down.

They were bright and looked just like stars in the sky, except like I mentioned already, these "stars" moved in various directions/formations.

My 5 year old thought they were bubbles. After watching them for awhile, she said "they look like stars, but they can't be stars, stars don't move". I totally agree with her.

I stopped several passby/runners asking them to look up and verify what I was seeing, that I wasn't crazy to see such things in the sky. They too, were dumbfounded as to what these lights would be. I watched the lights for about 45 minutes.

My mother was way ahead of us pushing my younger daughter, when I finally caught up with her, I told her to look up at the lights. She was amazed (like the rest of us) to see the "light show" going on right above our heads in downtown Vancouver. We had to get going as my girls were hungry and the lights just kept going, so we left.

I've been trying to contact someone who can clarify what it was that we saw, my twin sent me some youtube video clips from Mexico and other locations, that really captured what I saw on May 4th, 2010.

If you know anyone else who's witnessed this type of sighting, please have them contact me. I'd love to hear about what they have learned on these lights.

Thanks for your help.

Thank you to the witness for providing their report and photographs.
