I work at Kings Island in the Rides department. As I was leaving one of the rides around 9:30 one of our maintenance guys told me that he had seen a UFO. I asked him to point it out for me and so he pointed to the sky between the moon and what he said was Jupiter.
He was unable to find what he saw, but after a few minutes of looking I spotted the light. We watched it for another 5 minutes or so. The light seemed as if it was not moving. It looked as if the light was blinking at an odd interval.
We thought the clouds might have been moving in front of it. When I got back to the office that night about 30 other people I worked with were talking about the same light. My boss had actually tried to film it with his cell phone, but the low quality made it impossible to pick up.
Thank you to the witness for the report.

Time:
11:15 p.m. - 1:00 a.m.
Number of witnesses: 6
Number of Objects: 1
Shape of Objects: Half the oval could be
seen from the light, which was the shining object moving, the light was
reflecting off the object and you could see half an oval.
Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was outside checking out a meteor shower, but I didn't see any meteors. So I decided to go back inside when this bright light caught my eye.
I stood out of the steps gazing at the light, when all of a sudden it started to move slowly to the right then to the left, up and down, then started to do small circles.
I came back inside and got my house mate. We stood out on the step waiting for the light to move, all of a sudden it started to do the same thing again, but in longer distances, approximately 4-5 inches in different directions.
He then showed his girlfriend and she started to freak out, because it was moving again. I woke up my landlord to check out the mysterious light, it was approaching 12:00 (midnight) and the object was still moving.
The grandmother was awake and she called her friend to bring some binoculars. He arrived in less than 5 minutes, we watched the object for a hour.
During that hour the grandmother came out and saw the object moving back and forth, glowing brighter then fainter, but always moving. The guy left at 1:00 a.m. because the cloud cover was getting thick.
I' am going to check again tomorrow night to see if the object returns.
Thank you to the witness for the report.

Brian Vike’s Note: It has been an exciting
year for me here in northern British Columbia. After a slow start in for the
year 2001 (6 reported UFO sightings, my investigation into the Vanderhoof crop
circles and a cattle mute), 2002 has been an unbelievable time for a UFO
investigator, plus I am brand new at this stuff.
With this sighting report, this will bring the total cases I have worked on to 120 cases. Most of the cases are for the pacific northwest here in B.C. I have talked to over 200 witnesses for these 120 reported sightings. I still am working on two more still yet to come for the end of this year.
Did the same Golden UFO return to Granisle
in which RCMP officers watched a golden saucer hovering over the lake?
I had a telephone call from a nice fellow
who reported that he, and three other co-workers were doing some last minute
work around the logging camp which is located across Babine Lake, just across
the lake from Granisle, British Columbia.
One of the workers gave out a loud cry telling the other workers to look into the direction he was pointing to.
Approximately a half kilometer away from their location, which would have been to the north. The men all witnessed a bright, white/yellowish light coming from behind the trees in the distance. At this point all that was visible was a brightness shinning above/through the trees.
Brian Vike’s Note: I know the area well
as I have spent a lot of time fishing the lakes in the area, and there is
nothing out there other than forest, lakes and streams. Of course cut blocks in
which are being logged.
I asked the fellow if there may have been logging equipment working in the area where the light was seen coming from, using their bight lights to log and harvest the timber. He said NO ! The loggers were making ready the area/camp for logging to start up again after the holiday season was over and done with.
After dropping everything the men were doing,
watching and wondering what this glowing light was, to their shock a large
glowing golden/orangish disk shaped object with a large halo of white around
the craft rose up in the distance and stopped and hovered.
I was told they observed the object for approximately 10 seconds at the most, which the fellow said seemed like a life time.
As the object moved away from their location, heading roughly to the north they did lose sight of the craft quickly, but after losing sight of the object they still could see the bright light, which they figured was the light which was given off from the object for sometime.(approximately 5 minutes after seeing the object). The light grew faint and disappeared.
Brian Vike’s Note: I am still gathering information on this case, and the other case at Granisle, British Columbia in which two authorities witnessed a large glowing orange/gold almost saucer shaped (oval?) object hovering right over top the old Bell Copper mine. This took place on October 22, 2002 at 10:25 p.m. This full report is at my website.
I should have a report from Terrace B.C.
as well coming quickly, witnessed watched an object on December 27, 2002, 8:35 p.m. around
the hot springs which is a short distance from the main junction heading west
towards Kitimat.
And another I am working on, and am
speaking with the witness, this report came to me from my friends from UFO*BC
and is a joint investigation. This sighting takes place in between Kitimat and
Terrace, B.C. at Onion Lake.

Enderby, British Columbia (follow-up)
Date: July 25, 2003
Time:
8:30 p.m.
This is a follow-up I did to the Enderby, B.C. sighting which was reported to Mr. Peter Davenport at the NUFORC. http://www.nuforc.org/index.html
I telephoned one of the witnesses who reported a sighting for July 25, 2003 to gather a little more information on what the witnesses saw at 8:30 p.m. at Gardom Lake. The story is actually rather interesting.
The gentleman I talked with, told me his wife was the first to notice one large single object sitting stationary in the blue sky. She gave out a yell and pointed into the sky.
This is when a total of 6 people saw the unusual object, but by the time everyone else was observing the it, it had already broke (separated) into two sections.
Both section after the break up were the exact same size. (I asked if there was any type of explosion which may have caused the object to break into the two section, and the witness said no. The single object basically spit into two parts).
After it broke up, the folks said the "objects" went in separate directions, one heading north and the other south. The fellow I chatted with said the craft was sitting at approximately 30,000 to 40,000 feet at his best guess.
Also they noted after the craft separated, and holding their hand up to get a rough idea how close the two section were to one another at the height they were at, they guessed them to be approximately one inch a part.
The witness also noted that the two parts did not pass one another (stayed close to one another), but did slowly drift a part going in different directions until they lost sight of them.
He mentioned that it was like looking at the chrome bumper of a car with the sun reflecting off it. The brightness to the objects were extremely bright. There was no sound detected, no contrail from any of the them.
He also gave a approximately size each of the objects may have been. He estimated they might have been 1/4 inch in length, this using your finger nail at arms length. (Note: If the estimated size is even close, the objects must have been enormous in size).
The sighting lasted for approximately 4 to 5 minutes.
I am still hoping the other witnesses will call. Also the witness said he would get a drawing of what they saw to me, and there exact location.

Thank you to the witnesses for their report.

July 1976 at Cannon Air Force Base
The following events occurred 30 years ago. The exacts details have become a little fuzzy, after all I haven't thought about this stuff for 3 decades.
I arrived at Cannon Air Force Base in November of 1975. I remember the night because there was about an inch of snow on the ground and the next morning it was in the 70's. It's true what they say about desert weather. LOL.
I was a member of the 27th SPS (Security Police) and the only event that I can recall happening during January of 1976 was some talk of a plane crash that was supposed to happen, but everyone had different stories with different facts, so I passed them off as fairy-tales. But early July 1976 is a different story.
I was working Security and we were on rotating shifts, something like 3 days on days then 2 off, 3 days on afternoons and 2 off, then 3 days on nights then 2 off.
Anyways, it was my last day on nights and I was on patrol with another Airman and we were back by the Portales Gate (a remote gate that basic lead to the town of Portales, hence the name) when my partner pointed at something in the sky and asked, "what the hell is that"?
I saw a light in the sky that appeared to be hovering, maybe a couple hundred feet above the ground, just outside the base. We pulled over to the side of the road and observed it for a few minutes. It was blue on top, white in the middle and green on the bottom.
We finally called dispatched and asked them if they could contact Flight Tower to see if they had any planes flying. The response was that they did not have anything in the air. It was about then that our dispatch got a call from the Clovis Police and said that they could see some strange lights over the south side of our base.
They asked if we had anything in the air. The radio then came alive with other reports all saying the same thing, the light were being seen by others. The Flight Tower was contacted and their radar showed nothing in the sky.
We told dispatch how close we were to the light, and soon 2 other patrols were parked along side us watching it. One of them decided to drive towards the light and we kept in contact with them, to direct him, but as we gave directions and he got directly under the light it could not be seen.
Suddenly the light just seemed to vanish, gone in a blink of an eye. It did not fly away, it just disappeared.
The next night I was sleeping and it was approximately 2:00 a.m. when I heard a commotion coming from the hallway of my barracks. I got dressed and followed everyone outside to see what was going on. In the skies above us were approximately 12 lights that made a perfect circle around the base.
Each one was the exact same distance from the other, so I knew that this could not be by accident. I wondered if it could be related to the events I witnessed a few nights before. We watched the lights for about an hour or so and then it was as if someone had turned off the power to them, they went off one at a time in a circular manner.
The next night, I could not fall asleep so I went outside to take a walk around, hoping that would make me tired. As I was walking I found myself looking up at the sky and the next thing I saw was a single light appear, then another and another until all 12 lights had come back on like the night before. I noted the time and it was the exact time as the night before.
I ran back to my barracks, where the entire squad had assembled and several people had movie cameras and were filming the sky. As they did the night before, and at the same time, they went off one at a time, just like they had come on.
I eagerly waited the next night for the lights to appear, but they never returned.
The next month in one of the "men" magazines that were being sold at the time (I think it was (removed) magazine) had interviewed the base commander for an article about the lights. So if you want to read up on this, look for a back issue of (removed) magazine dated August or later of 1976.
Thank you to the witness for the very interesting report.

Brian Vike's Note: Granisle is a small town 45 minutes northeast from where I live in Houston, British Columbia, Canada. Granisle has a population of 400 residents and the main industries are tourism and logging. Once the site of a copper mine. (Granisle Copper & Bell Copper) who had two large open pit mines).
I was contacted by a gentleman (RCMP Officer) recently who gave me quite a story. The witness was with another fellow driving north just a couple of kilometers south of Granisle, B.C. (their exact location when they viewed the craft was at Topley Landing).
The two large forest companies here in Houston have a barge which runs back and forth across Babine Lake carrying logging trucks. The old Bell Copper mine is directly across the lake from the witnesses position. An approximate guess would be a 3/4 to 1 mile between the craft and the witnesses.
The officers observed a large glowing orange/gold almost saucer shaped (oval?) object hovering right over top the old Bell Copper mine. They said it was very low to the ground. At this point they pulled over to have a look and to try to figure out what they were seeing.
As they watched the object hover, it would rise up very slowly and come to a complete stop, move sideways then stop and drop down roughly the same height from the ground when the witnesses first saw it. Brian Vike Note: I asked if they witnessed any type of light coming from the object, meaning a downwards beam of light.
They both told me no, no lights were seen coming from the object. They did say that it almost looked as if every time the object moved to another position and dropped back down, it seemed to them the light intensity grew from the object while it stayed stationary. At "one" point the object moved out over the lake and stopped for a few seconds, then went back over top the mine once again.
They mentioned they heard no sound at all, but keeping in mind that the two fellows were some distance away from the object when viewing it.
(Brian Vike's Note: I asked them if they could give me an approximate size of this UFO). Their rough estimate was about the size of the Moon (maybe a hair smaller). They also said there were a few other cars and trucks that passed by them at the time, but no one stopped.
But they did say that everyone traveling the highway had to have seen it, you couldn't miss it. They said the area around the object, (ground area) was lit up for some distance. Also due to the brightness of the craft it cast it's reflection on the lake. The men watched this event for approximately 7 minutes before it rose up and left slowly heading north, still at a low altitude and out of their sight.
Than you to the witness for relating their sighting to me.
