Little Green Valley Men

Brian Vike's Favorite Cases.

Newspaper Article

By Todd Hamilton

The Interior News.

There must be something in Northwestern B.C.’s water.

Seldom does a week go by without the phone ringing and some anonymous person on the other end asking|: Has anyone called you this week about seeing something?”

A year ago, we ran a full page story on the Houston-Smithers-Terrace UFO triangle.

According to Brian Vike, a ufologist based out of Houston , this area is alien-sighting central.

So much so, Vike was named one of the 100 most influential people in ufology today by Fate magazine.

Fate, which is subtitled True reports of the Strange and Unknown is a full colour monthly that has been published since 1948.

“I guess it’s quite an honour,” Vike said. “I don’t know exactly how many researchers there are around the world, but it must be thousands.”

As explained sightings in the Bulkley valley go, thousands may also be the number.

Back to the phone call, “Mr. Fox” I’ll call him, wanted to know about strange light he saw above Hudson Bay mountain in late August.

The sheepishness of his voice suggested he was genuinely perplexed and not a potential wing-nut who just finished last call at the neighbourhood pub.

“Have you seen anything,” he asked. “Well,” I replied. “Back in early August ….

I then recounted my own little Bulkley Valley-little green men story.

Briefly, myself and a couple of other people were standing on Broadway Avenue amazed at a bright, orange light crossing the sky.

As a skeptic, it looked like a jet contrail illuminated by the setting sun, but there was no jet and the contrail didn’t extend back much of a distance. To top it off, there wasn’t that tell-tale trail of white smoke as a jet passes overhead.

I hurried into the newspaper office and grabbed a camera… and snapped off a bunch of shots.

For 20 years I’ve been pain to take photos, and even won an award or two, but now I understand why all those “photographic proofs” are so bad – photographing aliens is tough work. We stood there for at least five minutes in the middle of the street gawking and collectively wondered what the hell it was.

Then it was gone.

So when Mr. Fox asked me if I saw something, I had to tell him yes, then I gave him Vike’s phone number and told him, that was the guy to talk to – either to join the legion of growing Valley believers or at least as a catharsis.

Are we alone ?

For myself, I’ve seen an object flying overhead and I was unable to identify it. Does that mean little green men are landing out near New Hazelton and playing in the hay fields? I doubt it.

But if we’re not alone, and you have proof--- phone Vike, not me. Not unless the photos are clear and publishable. And by the way, get the alien’s name, hometown and keep your submission to under 250 words in length.

Live long and prosper.

UFOs And Three Little Alien Figures At Port Alberni British Columbia

Brian Vike's Favorite Cases.

Date:  August 1, 2011

Time:  Approxamtlty 3:45 a.m.

On August 1, 2011 about 3:45 a.m. I was coming home after taking my kid to work and was heading north on Cherry Creek Rd. in Port Alberni. I saw a white light blink above the Beaufort range and thought it must be a satellite or a plane, then it disappeared and dropped down lower this time in front of the mountain just above the tree line and flashed again.

I thought to myself, ok it's a plane, then it blinked red, and I thought ok it's definitely a plane, but then it started flashing green. Now in all my 50 years of living here I've never seen a plane blink both red and green lights. Then all of a sudden it zig zagged a little lower and shot backwards leaving a white light streak behind it which immediately disappeared. I've seen fighter jets in action and believe me, no aircraft on this earth can move that fast! It was definitely a UFO.

The next day we had tons of aerial activity above the area and the following day as well.

I was reading more of your site and saw that you are wanting past UFO sighting information as well so here it goes. About 1987 My husband and I were driving back from Parksville about 11:00pm and saw a V shaped formation of lights, 7 of them that were stationary above Mt. Arrowsmith, then they suddenly disappeared all together.

We drove into port and Mt. Arrowsmith was visible from our house and there the lights were again in the same place again just sitting there. We thought it was some sort of a Airforce maneuver and dismissed it. The next day I was talking to my girlfriend and she said her dad saw the same thing and had actually called Comox Airforce Base to see if there were any maneuvers being done and they said no.

About 2 years before that my husband and I had gone to bed it was about 12:00 a.m. He fell asleep and it takes me a lot longer to fall asleep so I was laying there awake and suddenly our room was filled with a blinding light.

There was only 1 small window which faced south there and the neighbors house was really close on that side about 7 feet away so unless someone was shining a really bright in my window which there wasn't or I would've seen the beam, the light seemed to come from above.

I tried waking my husband, but I couldn't wake him up even though I was shaking and yelling at him. It was like he was unconscious or something. Next thing I know our bedroom became filled with a sort of vapour and I saw 3 little men about 3 1/2 to 4' tall come in our bedroom. Have you ever watched the movie Fire in the Sky?

That's what these things sort of looked like. I was screaming, but no sound seemed to come out and I was paralyzed I tried to get up but couldn't move! I was terrified! These things picked me up and carried me out of my room up and I don't remember anything after that. I told my husband about it the next day, but he said I was dreaming. I know I wasn't, I was wide awake when this happened.

Ok those are my UFO stories, you are going to think me a nut job, but the above is all true.

Four Bright Blue Silent Lights Seen Over Little Falls Gauteng South Africa

Brian Vike's Favorite Cases.

Date:  November 11, 2011

Time:  7:30 p.m.

On Friday evening the 11/11/2011 at 19H30 we noticed four bright blue lights approaching from the north travelling south at great speed. One of the lights which was lagging behind suddenly sped up to the other three.

They were under the clouds and were silent. This was witnessed by five of us. We tried to take a photo, but it did not come out. What could it have been? Regards.

Thank you to the witness for the report.

Terrifying Painful Night Encounters With Little Alien Beings Prince George British Columbia

Brian Vike's Favorite Cases.

Date:  October 20, 2001

Time:  1:00 a.m. and 3:00 a.m.

Hi Brian, here is my journal entry that I made the night that I recalled being visited. I have to find my other journal as I had journaled waking up to hear and sensing a presence in my room. When I find that journal I will also send you those entries.

I had a very unsettling night. I was awoken sometime between 1:00 a.m. and 3:00 a.m. by a loud repetitive sound and a vibrating feeling in my head. It was very uncomfortable.

I had thought that my body was getting prepared for astral travel, but couldn’t understand why my whole body didn’t have the “vibes” and only my head was vibrating. It felt different than the usual “vibes” too.

I tried to sit up in an attempt to shake it off, but I was gently pushed back down. This happened a few times as I continued to try to sit up. Then I realized I was not alone. I sensed a presence in my room. The next time I sat up I tried to look to see if anyone was in my room. I noticed there were two little beings on either side of me.

They were very tiny in height. About 3 feet tall, with big black eyes and round heads. Their heads were in proportion with their bodies, unlike what I’ve seen on TV. I remember being astonished by their height, as I never thought they would be so little.

As soon as I saw them I felt something press against the back of my head in the middle (lower section, just above the two bumps where your head meets your neck) then I lost my vision. I could feel these beings doing something to my head. It felt as if I was being pelted repeatedly, rapidly, and forcefully by a loud tone.

It caused my whole head to vibrate. I couldn’t move and couldn’t speak. It was as though I was paralyzed. I mentally yelled for them to stop. I demanded! I commanded even in the name of Jesus Christ, if they were not of light and love and not here for my highest good, to stop and leave.

They continued. It seemed to go on and on. I must have blacked out because I don’t remember when it did finally stop.

Added note to this entry: I have had headaches for two weeks since this experience. Here is another entry I have found:

October 30, 2001

Looking through my dream journal, I’ve noticed that through out this year I have awoken in the middle of the night with a sense of a presence in my room. I have experienced this my whole life off and on, but not as often as this year.

Also I have had dreams of other planets and ETs, something that I never did before. I have never really been into UFOs or ETs or science fiction. I have also noticed this past month that I’ve been unable to get out astrally at will, but when I have been able to get out it is because “something” has come for me and then I lose my vision and memory beyond getting what feels like out of my physical body.

Thank you to the witnesses for the report.

Pilot And Ground Flaggers Observe A Little Flat Flying Football Shaped UFO Over Tranquillity California

Brian Vike's Favorite Cases.

Brian Vike’s Note: There are thousands of aircraft flights each and everyday, if carrying passengers, cargo or military flights of some type. With so many flights taking place each and everyday we are lucky if we hear a small fraction of unidentified UFO reports from pilots. Sightings of unknown objects are being witnessed each and everyday by ground observers, but yet we don't receive all that many pilot reports.

I would like to request that if any pilots who have been witness to something they weren't able to explain while flying an aircraft, would you please be so kind as to relate the information, or your sighting report to me.

Please keep in mind that any and all personal information will be respected and will remain private. I will not post names, emails or anything else that you would consider personal. So if a pilot has been witness to a UFO sighting, please do write to me, Brian Vike – Director Kamloops British Columbia Canada UFO Research at brian_vike@telus.net and by using this email address I will be the only person reading your mail. Thank you, Brian.

In the summer of 1978 I was flying for a crop dusting operation near Tranquillity, California. At that time I had been a duster pilot for over sixteen years, and flying nights since 1965. In central California during the summer months, certain fields are treated after dark, mainly to protect workers and honeybees from exposure to AG chemicals.

On the early morning of 28 July, just before 3:00 a.m., I was sitting in the cockpit of my airplane, a Rockwell Thrush Commander. The aircraft was parked, with it’s engine shut down and all interior and exterior lights off, at the south end of a one-half mile dirt runway, located about five miles southwest of Mendota, a small town in the San Joaquin Valley about thirty miles west of Fresno. The Thrush was lined up with the runway, facing due north.

I had just finished spraying a quarter-section cotton field, and was getting ready to spray another. My two girl flaggers were already in place on the field I was about to treat, and my loader was busy mixing a batch of pesticide to be applied on it.

It was a calm, cloudless night, typical of midsummer in the San Joaquin Valley. The air temperature at ground level was around seventy degrees, and the visibility was good. Although I was somewhat tired, I was not at all sleepy. I had drunk several cups of coffee from my thermos during the previous six hours, and I have always been sensitive to caffeine as a stimulant.

As I sat in the cockpit, waiting for the first load to be pumped into the hopper tank, I glanced over to my right at the crescent moon rising in the east, and then turned back to again face north. At this time, I noticed a dim, diffused orange glow, low in the sky to the northwest, about forty-five degrees to the left of the aircraft nose.

My first thought was that a house, barn, or other nearby ranch building had caught fire, but I discarded that possibility almost immediately. I knew the area quite well (an absolute necessity for safe night AG flying) and the glow was in the direction of the field that I was about to spray. I had flown this same field several times before, and knew there were no buildings in the immediate vicinity. I decided that if it was a fire, it had to be much farther away.

This possibility was discarded a few seconds later, when the orange glow began to slowly rise. When it was about thirty degrees above the horizon, it started moving toward the east.

At first this movement was quite slow, but within a few seconds, it speeded up. The glow then began to take on an elongated form, markedly longer in the vertical plane than in the horizontal. It reminded me of a segment of searchlight beam, except that the entire light column moved laterally, while oriented nearly straight up and down, rather than in a radius around a fixed light source. The length of the column seemed to be about ten to twenty degrees of vertical sky coverage.

As the light column passed through due north, straight ahead over the airplane nose, it continued accelerating and becoming  brighter. I then realized that I was viewing something that was totally different from my many other nighttime sightings of missile launches, satellites, planets, and other aircraft.

I yelled for my loader to look, but the noise of the mix rig engine drowned out my voice, and because his attention was focused on opening cans of pesticide on the opposite side of the mix tank, he didn't see my frantic signals. I climbed out of the cockpit onto the left wing, planning to jump down and run around the trailer to alert him. Then I had the thought that if I did, I might miss a vital part of the display, so I remained standing on the wing.

After passing abeam of the runway end, the object continued accelerating for a short time, perhaps five to ten seconds. It then climbed slightly, and at the same time abruptly slowed. During this phase the glow was becoming brighter, while the vertical beam was shortening, forming itself into a more compact mass of light.

At about forty-five degrees off to my right, the object, now considerably brighter, and resembling a glowing ball, came to a stop for several seconds. It then reversed course, and once again began moving, this time back to the west.

Several seconds after starting it’s westward movement, and without slowing, the ball of light instantly assumed the shape of a well-defined, flattened sphere with pointed ends, which emitted a steady orange glow. At this time it began a shallow descent, gathering speed and leveling out around twenty degrees above the horizon. It flew with it’s pointed ends parallel to the ground. From my position, the size of the object looked to be about that of a large pea or small marble when held at arms length.

When the glowing, flattened sphere was directly over the Thrush's nose, it abruptly halted, going from a high rate of speed to a dead stop almost instantaneously. It remained stationary for no more than a few seconds - five at the most. Although this would have been the best opportunity to determine the object's true size, I was unable to make an estimate, since it’s distance from me was unknown. On the report which I later submitted, I placed it at one to three miles away, but that distance is highly speculative.

After its momentary halt, the object again accelerated. Within a few seconds it had resumed its previous high speed, but appeared to have turned ninety degrees, and was now climbing directly away from me at a very steep angle. Its heading was due north, and as it rose, it attained what looked to be the highest speed reached during the entire time it had been in view.

Because of the unknown size and distance of the object, and the fact that it was climbing at an angle directly away from me, this speed was impossible to estimate accurately. Judging from the rate at which it seemed to grow smaller though, it looked to be travelling about three to five times faster than a jet airliner at an altitude of around thirty thousand feet, as seen from the ground.

During this climb, the object also reached its maximum brightness, only very slightly less than that of the crescent moon. As it continued to rise, it began to dim. It finally vanished from my sight high above the horizon (about sixty to seventy degrees), over the glow of the lights of Firebaugh, another small town about 12 miles due north of my position.

The total time which the object remained in view, from my first sighting of the diffused mass of light until the final disappearance of the flattened sphere, seemed to be about 40-50 seconds, but an accurate estimate is quite difficult. It could have been somewhat shorter, but almost certainly wasn't longer.

Throughout the episode, I remained relatively calm, but was filled with awe when I realized that I had just witnessed a phenomenon about which I had previously only read, and, up to that time, was not at all certain actually existed.

As soon as the object disappeared, I jumped off the wing and asked my loader if he had seen anything. He had not, and when I told him what I had witnessed, he was disappointed, to say the least. He finished mixing the batch of pesticide, and I sprayed four loads on the field. I then sprayed another quarter-section located northeast of the strip without further incident.

After returning to Tranquillity, I sought out my two flaggers, and asked them if they had seen anything unusual the previous night. They were both very evasive and reluctant to answer my questions, and kept trying to change the subject. I finally got them to admit that they had also seen the object. Their view of it had been better than my own, since they described it as somewhat larger and brighter than it had appeared from my location. From this, I estimated that they were closer to it than I had been, although it had still remained to the north of them.

With further questioning, the fact emerged that they had also seen the same object on the previous two nights, while flagging for another pilot. The girls described it very aptly as "a little, flat, flying football." They had told no one else of these previous sightings, and remained very reluctant to discuss them with me. I later talked with the other pilot, who stated that he had seen nothing out of the ordinary on either night.

Several nights later, at around midnight, I was in the air, returning to Tranquillity from the western edge of the valley. I was heading almost due east, flying at about five hundred feet. Suddenly, to the south, just off my right wing, at what seemed to be considerable distance away, I again sighted a column of diffused light. This time, the glow was more yellowish than orange. It appeared to move very slowly to the west, and I waited for a few seconds to see if another bright, oval shape would materialize from it. This did not occur. I then turned the airplane toward the light column, and flashed my two field lights of six hundred watts each. It immediately disappeared, and I saw no further evidence of the phenomenon.

A few days afterward, I wrote to the National Investigative Committee on Aerial Phenomena (NICAP), and reported the first sighting. Since the second light column had seemed rather far away, and was visible for only a short time, I didn't mention it. I later made out a NICAP report form and returned it. There was no reply from the organization, and I later learned that NICAP became non-operational the next year.

That sighting of 28 July made a very deep and lasting impression. I can still see the glowing orange, flattened sphere as vividly in my mind as it appeared on that early morning many years ago. I have no doubt that the device (or whatever it was) was real - there is absolutely no way that it could have been a product of my imagination. Twelve years previously, I had flown in the Sudan with some AG pilots who mentioned seeing somewhat similar objects in Arkansas and Florida.

Around that same time, many persons in the Mendota-Tranquillity area claimed to have seen, over a period of several nights, a gigantic, black object, with strange, multi-colored flashing lights. It moved slowly, making no sound, and was so huge that it obscured a significant portion of the night sky. (This fits the "mother ship" description of which I later read in various UFO accounts.) I never saw this vehicle, so I can't verify its existence, but it was the talk of all of the little towns on the west side of the San Joaquin Valley for many weeks afterward.

Over the years, I have seen two other unusual objects during night AG flying operations in the same general area. I once observed a bright blue light descend slowly to the ground from a high altitude, and watched, for a minute or so, a group of several bright white lights in a perfect "L" formation. They were flying very high and very fast, much faster than any known conventional aircraft. Neither of these incidents had the visual and psychological impact of the 1978 sighting however.

As I write this, I have spent over 35 years in agricultural aviation, and accumulated more than eleven thousand hours of AG flying time, several thousand of these at night. During the many thousands of hours I have spent outdoors after dark, I have seen hundreds of satellites, about thirty missile launches from Vandenberg AFB, all of the visible planets under widely varying sky conditions, and many thousands of military and civilian aircraft in all modes of flight. What I saw on that early July morning was totally unlike anything else I have ever observed in the night sky.

Since then, I have read hundreds of books dealing with all aspects of UFOs. Many of them contain accounts that are inconsistent and contradictory, while others are obviously outright fantasy. A few, however, seem to be authentic. Unlike most other UFO researchers, my search for the truth behind the many thousands of documented appearances of these phenomena is driven by the certain knowledge that they in fact exist.

To date, despite many years of research, I am still unable to form a definite opinion as to the substance and meaning of these mysterious and logic-defying objects. I hope, however, to somehow correlate the mass of at-times conflicting information, and determine their true origin and purpose, before I make that last flight West.

END.

After the above article was first published the witness received a letter from a 25,000 hour commercial pilot who had sighted what was essentially the same phenomenon on a night in January of 1978, six months before my own experience.

He was on a charter flight with several passengers aboard and cruising at 8500 feet when, at about 9:00 p.m., he looked to the west of his course and saw a similar cycle of light begin. He started to turn toward it to get a better view, but his passengers had no desire whatever to get any closer…they became quite agitated and “strongly objected,” so he reluctantly turned away from the spectacle so as to calm them down. By the time he got back on his original heading, the light show was over. He also mentioned that he had seen a flight of “silvery disks” somewhere over north central Washington sometime in the 1950’s.

(Removed by Brian Vike) also got a letter from a distinguished professor at a northern California university, who dismissed my sighting as “only the aurora borealis, or northern lights.” I have seen the northern lights a number of times. Once, when they were exceptionally strong, they even appeared on the horizon in southern California. Of course, they bear no resemblance whatever to what I saw in the sky that morning, and anyone reading the article who has also seen the northern lights should have been able to comprehend that there was a vast difference between them. Some professor! Some aurora borealis!

Since the article first appeared, I have had one more sighting of something that remains unexplained in my mind. My wife also saw it, and is likewise at a loss to explain it.

On an early summer evening, we were lying on our backs on a lawn, watching the passage of the linked space shuttle/space station as they passed overhead. It was a very bright object, and had appeared exactly at the time forecast.

About 15 seconds after it had passed directly above us, we saw a bright white, flashing light on approximately the same track as the linked vehicles, but some distance behind them. It was nearly directly overhead also. The light didn’t move in the same direction however. Instead, it flashed, disappeared, and then flashed again in another location some distance away from its original position. This cycle repeated itself about five or six times, with the light appearing at a different part of the sky each time, then the object disappeared.

I mailed an account of this sighting to the National Aviation Reporting Center on Anomalous Phenomena, an organization which gathers reports of unexplained aerial object sighting from all over the world. They mostly come from airline pilots. The reply stated that this same “flashing, disappearing/reappearing light” was one of the most common objects reported by a large number of pilots, none of whom were able to explain it. Neither was NARCAP.

Although I have been searching for 40 years, I myself am no wiser as to the origin or purpose of these various unidentified flying objects which are being reported with increasing frequency all over the world. However, since there is nothing in the universe that is “supernatural,” I am convinced that they are a part of some larger phenomena yet to be discovered.

An Unexplained Sighting Over Northern Alabama

(Published in - Removed by Brian Vike - September 1995 as sidebar to "A Little Flat Flying Football")

Whenever I travel by airline, I always try to get a window seat, because I like to look out on the ever-changing clouds and sky and watch the ground passing below. Thus, on 21 April 1994, at approximately 1310 EDT, I was in the rearmost right window seat of a Delta Lockheed L-1011. The aircraft was nearly full of passengers, heading west/northwest on a flight from Atlanta to Salt Lake City.

We were in a climb to cruising altitude, passing through approximately 18/20,000 feet, when I suddenly saw, almost directly below, two seemingly circular bright, glowing white objects, with no visible wings or tail surfaces, moving toward the northeast at a very high speed. I spotted them just after they had passed under the airplane.

Because I have no knowledge of their size, or their distance from the aircraft, it's hard to say how far below they actually were, or at what speed they were traveling. I can tell you that they were moving very fast though...much faster than the fastest military fighter aircraft would be capable of flying, especially at that relatively low altitude.

Besides that, with only a few exceptions for test and tactical ranges in several of the western states, supersonic flight is forbidden over the continental US, and these machines were traveling at a speed which was obviously much higher than the speed of sound would have been at that altitude. And of course all military aircraft of all the services are now coated with either radar-absorptive or camouflage paint, and thus are either a uniform dull grey or a dull gray/green mottled color combination.

Although these objects were flying together, they were not in a close formation, such as tactical military aircraft would normally be, but approximately 3-5 degrees apart. As they moved away below, they seemed to drift a little farther away from each other.

I watched them disappear in the distance, and then looked forward along the row of seats to see if anyone ahead of me was pointing, gesturing, or giving some indication that they had also seen the objects. No one was...all of the other passengers had the window shades down and were watching some dumb Whoopee Goldberg movie. Evidently I was the only one looking out the window.

While this didn't have the same impact as my previous sighting of July 1978, it was still an exciting experience. I only wish I had seen an indication that someone else on that airplane had sighted the machines...or whatever they were.

Thank you to the eyewitnesses for their excellent reporting.

Military Helicopters Peruse Black Triangle UFO In The Sky Over Little Rock Arkansas (Report/Audio Interview)

Brian Vike's Favorite Cases.

The 43 minutes audio interview can be found at the following link. https://jmp.sh/gKOARu5

Essentially, two vehicles came swooping in toward the nearby landing-strip of the Little Rock Airport, just after twilight. About 6 minutes earlier I had noticed another plane leaving the same airspace as it took off S-W towards Dallas, at first making this appear to be a sensible, well choreographed normal flight-pattern.

Both were descending at an unacceptably high rate of speed, not unlike Flt.175, as it approached the WTC South Tower, just a few months prior. I instantly slowed from my usual 58mph freeway speed, to about 48mph, just slow enough to capture the active motion against a relatively stable foreground. It suddenly dawned on me that these aircraft were in hot pursuit!

Having a high degree of spatial recognition, I could see that I was approximating a situation where I might be entering a point of impact, so I slowed my vehicle as much as I could, practically do without serious risk to other traffic. Even 39mph suddenly felt like a suicide rate, so I dropped it down to second and got into the creeper-lane. That's when it all became clear that I was observing a real UFO.

The vehicles leveled-off at an altitude of just about 1,000 feet. and continued at me for about 1 mile. Their additional descent went unnoticed until the first craft slowed to a nearly parked position. Behind him, was a full battle-ready Huey helicopter which also came to a sudden halt, much as though he was scared of getting more than an inch closer.

Very gently, the Black Triangle proceeded to move forward and I rolled to a position just beyond it's wingspan. At that point, it was about 1 1/2 blocks to my Left, so I could see the entire thing through my driver's side window, but as it moved, it was to leave the entire bird visible through, and virtually filling my Jeep's entire windshield.

I looked intensely at every portion of that machine, knowing it could not be faithfully photographed at night. Lucky for me all of it's lights were operational and I believe that I observed all of the fundamental attributes of their behavior in this 'idle' mode. My feeling was both one of terror and relief. My biggest fear was that the helicopter would fire upon it and I would be caught in the fireball below!

To my hard left, another troop-type helicopter appeared. I'll discuss that one later.

I knew that I needed a comparable reference to describe the UFO's actual scale which still eludes me somewhat. Altitudes of 900' would seem more reasonable than say, 500 feet., but that was probably it's very lowest hovering height. In order to lock my eyes on the thing throughout the entire progression, I eventually sat in the window with my head above the car itself.

In this interview Brian Vike talked with a fellow who gave a awesome description of the Black Triangle UFO he observed. The size of this clip is 14.6 mbs and it is 43 minutes in length.

A Little Information - Huge Massive UFO Floated Up The Ottawa River Strathcona Park Ontario

I received this report sometime ago and posted it to “The Vike Factor” on September 19, 2013.

You can find the report with diagrams here following this link:

The reason I bring this up again is due a fellow writing in asking if I had found any other information on this sighting, which I hadn’t. Although this man didn’t live in the area, nor seen the incident, he found something of interest and that is why I am posting this report.

The below information was sent to me on August 25, 2017.

Date:  March 7, 2001
Time: After dark.

Did you ever get any follow up from this story from anyone? I live right on the rivers bank 1 block from Strathcona Park. The river is actually the Rideau River and it drains into the much larger Ottawa River.

I did not live in Ottawa at the time of this sighting, but I found this very interesting.

There was an incident of UFO crash landing in the Ottawa river in 2009. There were military and police search of the area but no debris of an airplane and no planes were reported missing so the object remains unidentified.

The reason it is extra strange is that the object made several maneuvers before going into the river that were not characteristic of an airplane. The Ottawa river is quite large and can have quite a strong current in certain areas.

Missing Time/UFO Experience Near Little Fort British Columbia

Date:  Spring of 1988

Hi Brian, I had an experience many years ago, a period of missing time. Do you have any recommendation as to who would be appropriate to perform a hypnotic regression? I live in Kamloops, British Columbia.

Here are the details of my experience: It was the Spring of 1988 and I was alone finishing the insides of a large log house. My wife and child were away in a middle of a 6 week visit to parents.

I had guaranteed my employer that I would put in 40 hours of work per week and since I kept somewhat irregular hours I used a log book to keep my word.

My work was finish carpentry/cabinetry and I had been some time (previous to this job) collecting tools for setting up a cabinet shop.

Since this was my first project, I spent a lot of time setting up and buying further tools on the weekends. The location was near Little Fort, British Columbia with the house being in a (semi) remote setting.

The previous weekend I had traveled to Kamloops Friday evening in order to buy tools and groceries and returned on Sunday evening. The house had wood heat, so on my return Sunday night I unloaded my purchases and packed some wood out of the wood-shed onto the porch (enough for the night and the following morning).

Monday morning I stoked the fire as at this time (mid February) there was about a foot of snow on the ground with temperatures of above freezing during the day with freezing temperatures during the night (+ 3 to - 5 temperature range thereabouts).

After breakfast I went to my shop and started running a series of boards for the room I was trimming. On a log house there is a great variety in the trim dimensions for each room so it made no sense to get too far ahead.

I recall working to just after noon Monday and it was a bright overcast day. The very next thing I remember was standing in the house and it was a dim overcast early morning. It seemed I had just materialized out of a fog. I did not recall getting up that morning, I was just there.

My brain felt completely frazzled as if I had something like an electroshock treatment (I imagine not ever having had any). I looked around the room at it was dusty and seemed un-lived in, like coming home after a holiday.

Looking down at my clothes I realized that I had the same work clothes on as Monday noon. I knew it was not Monday, but did not know what day it was. I turned on the radio, it was Friday morning.

I was now completely confused, how could it be? My mind was a complete blank from Monday noon. I started to check out the house. The wood I had piled up Sunday night was still outside the door in the porch, yet there would have only been enough wood for Monday daytime and not enough to stock up the stove for Monday night. The stove was stone cold, yet the house was not freezing (nor had the pipes froze).

The house seemed to be in a stasis, not hot, not cold as if something was keeping it stable, yet not really heating it. I looked at my truck outside and could see that it had not moved since the previous Sunday, there had been an intervening snowfall and I could see from the tracks in the snow that I had not driven out, nor anyone driven in.

I checked the fridge and there was all the food I had brought back for the week uneaten. I thought about my present condition, I was not hungry or thirsty and there was no way I had gone days without eating, in fact I was not hungry, only somewhat fuzzy in my brain.

I looked at my clothes again, I was dry and warm and had not been out in the elements. So no wood burnt, no food eaten, no work done, everything was as it should have been if it was Monday afternoon yet it was Friday morning (about 8:30).

I checked my log book and (curiously) it was open to Friday. I turned back through the pages and they were all blank to the previous Friday. I had never in the past 2 months of working there, failed to fill in my log book for an absence of greater than 2 days.

I started to rack my brain, thinking that I should be able to remember some small even insignificant detail of the past almost 4 days, yet there was absolutely nothing. The complete space of time is like a section of white noise in my memory.

A thought kept running through my head "I must have been here working, I must have been here working" on and on like a post-hypnotic
 suggestion.

Even though I absolutely positively knew I was not there working. I immediately filled in the missing pages with imaginary work, work that had not been done. This normally would have bothered me severely that I was cheating my employer.

I knew no work had been done, as the pile of boards I was milling Monday afternoon were exactly as I had left them. The room I was trimming was the same. Today if I owed you $10 it would bother me, yet this did not bother me and oddly it still does not.

I relegated this to the back of my mind and explained it away it as "Being bushed", although nothing like this had happened before or since.

Life went on, my wife returned, I continued working, a sense of normalcy came back to my life.

Then 3 months later, I had the "dream" and I remember it as if I just had it. I was back in my shop and it was the Monday just after noon. I immediately knew it was that day and it was more like a sharp memory than a dream.

My shop was beside the house and close to overlooking a lake. In the midst of running a board through my thickness planer a thought popped into my head, "I should walk to the lake (50' away). This was more of an command. I immediately shut off the machine, walked out of my shop and over to the edge of the hill overlooking the lake.

I looked up at the bright overcast sky. There seemed to be a saucer shaped hole in the clouds at a 45 degree angle! It did not look like a craft, more like a hole into the heavens, as if I could see into an incredibly defined starlit sky through this "hole".

The hole was jet black, disc-ed shaped and the "stars" were bright and twinkling. I was not afraid, more perplexed as to what I was seeing. I then realized that I was seeing a UFO and I got very excited as I had always wanted to see one.

As soon as I realized I was seeing a UFO, an electric shock went through me from my head to my toes and I was instantly awake sitting up in bed. The (UFO) realization, the electric shock and sitting up in bed were all the same instant. I immediately said to myself, "So that's what happened with the missing time" and there was no doubt in my mind. It finally made sense.

Since this time I have willed myself to have more "dreams" with limited success. I have never been able to go back to that time, yet have had
other more symbolic dreams of seeing landed UFOs with human-like people (men and women) yet nothing I would say like a memory-dream.

If anyone has witnessed an object, please send me an email with details of what you saw. Please remember to include the date and time and location. (Town/City – State or Province) and as much detail as possible.

Bright Red Lights Over Little Current Manitoulin Island Ontario (Pictures)

Date:  December 29, 2012
Time:  7:00 p.m.

Vike Factor Note: I used the contrast to lighten up the photos which makes it easier to see the red lights.

Hi Brian, I just checked out your website because of something I saw in the sky on Sat. December 29, 2012 at 7:00 p.m.

I live in the town of Little Current, on Manitoulin Island, ON.

I was going for a walk and as soon as I stepped out onto my deck, I couldn't believe what I was seeing. It was 5 bright red lights in the shape of the 5 spots on a die.

The dots of light were moving as one, from the west to the south at a pretty slow speed.

They seemed to be close to earth. No sound.

I ran inside to get my camera, and by the time I was outside again, the 5 lights had almost completely disappeared into the southern sky, but were being followed by 5 or 6 single red lights, equally spaced in a straight line, moving again, as one, following the course of the original cluster of lights.

I was able to take a picture of three of the lights and am attaching the photo, even though the quality is very poor.

The sight filled me with very strange feelings ranging from awe and amazement, to fear.

What in the world was I seeing and what did it mean?

I have looked up similar sightings, and no explanation is ever given. The only thing I read was that it could be a meteor broken up.

This was not falling from the sky. The movement of the dots of light was not random or separate, these light were moving as one, across the sky.

Any ideas?  I would love to hear back from you and hear what you have to say.

If you have seen anything like this in the same area please be kind enough to contact Brian Vike at: sighting@telus.net with the details of your sighting. All personal information is kept confidential.

Also, please feel free to send in your sightings that have happened years ago. So many of these older sightings are nothing short of amazing.
