Date: March 20 2007 Time: 9:15 p.m.
Location of Sighting: Over Whitby - Ajax, Ontario. Number of witnesses: 3 Number of objects: 1 Shape of objects: Triangular.
Full Description of event/sighting: I was standing in a parking lot with my friends in Oshawa near the Whitby border, we were looking west at a light that seemed to be over Ajax. It was a bright light and it was just sitting there. My friend said, "wouldn't it be crazy if it disappeared?" and as he said this it vanished, then reappeared but higher up than before. Then it started moving straight up and did a quick zig zag pattern. It stopped and went up while zig zagging about 2 or 3 times. Then it started coming straight at us, it went from being over Ajax to right above our heads in about a minute and a half. As it was moving towards us it's shape became more distinct.
We could see that it was triangular and red flashing lights on every point and in the middle my friend said there were more lights which I could not make out because I didn't have my glasses. But it was clearly a triangle with red flashing lights. Also as it went over us it made absolutely no sound at all. None. It went over our heads and we lost sight of it behind some houses. As I said it moved with incredible speed and no sound at all. It was flying the height of about a single engine plane. A few moments after we lost sight of it, a single engine plane went by, probably over Whitby and it made quite alot of noise, which scared my friends.
Thank you to the witness for their report.
