Stationary Light Over Owen Sound Ontario

Date: March 6, 2011
Time: Approx: 1:00 a.m.

Dear Brian Vike, I am forwarding an e-mail I received from my daughter (name removed) in Owen Sound this morning. (Please ignore the time posted on it, my computer registers 5 hours ahead).

I found your website through Google, and you certainly seem to be the person who might be able to provide an explanation for her. Looking forward to hearing from you, if indeed you feel this is something out of the ordinary.

Sighting report below:

We have to call it that because we can't explain what it was. Last night my husband woke me around 1:00am and said that there's a weird light in the sky that he'd been watching for about a 1/2 hour and that it hadn't moved at all. When I looked at first I thought it was a planet, but suddenly it’s aura started flashing in green and red then white and it would become super bright then fade a little, then start flashing again.

We both watched it through the binoculars for about an hour. It stayed in one spot, we sat down and I looked again about 15 minutes later and it still hadn't moved, about 10 minutes after that my husband looked and thought that it was gone, but it actually was lower and further away. It's around 3:30am now and it's still there. Never seen anything like it before (Freaky).

Lights Stationary In The Sky Over Komoka Ontario

Date: February 8, 2011
Time: 5:45 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.

Number of witnesses:
Number of Objects: 1 + 3.
Shape of Objects: Changed shape.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: Hello Brian, this is response to the posting from Ottawa on February 8, 2011. No, you are not bonkers, I saw the same thing at the same time.

I noticed this star like, very bright, solitary light directly in the western sky at exactly 5:45pm on February 8th as well. The sky was clear, the moon a mere sliver, and I thought it was a star. As I watched from outside in my driveway it first appeared to be one large white light or star then I could make out another sitting right above it.

When I went to fetch the binoculars, I watched it from a window inside the house and it appeared to be three or more stars or lights in a tight little line. The weird thing is that the bottom light seemed to swivel a bit like a bell or pendulum swinging back and forth or revolving. I went back outside and still it was the only thing in the sky besides the moon.

I figured I too was seeing things and chalked it up to my eyes playing tricks on me. I tried to calculate the height and all I could come up with was this, if I drew a line from yourself to the object I would say it was at 80 degrees.

Periodically through the evening I checked its position in relation to the movement of the moon, and while the moon moved across the sky this light or star did not. It remained constant in the west just slightly lower or to the left or right.

At about 10:00pm, I went back outside to take another look, and saw another light that looked like it was dripping from the one I just described. I stood in amazement and watched as 2 more tiny little lights dropped from it. These little lights moved like fire flies until they reached the tree line then began moving parallel to the earth.

Large Fireball UFOs And Pursuing Aircraft West Of London Ontario Canada

Date: February 28, 2011
Time: 9:30 p.m. and 10:55 p.m.

Number of witnesses: 1 and 2.
Number of Objects: 2
Shape of Objects: Round.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: Hello Brian, I've wrestled all day whether to send this particular sighting your way, simply because it was apparent the longer I thought about it, that we were not the alone in witnessing the familiar slow moving, large fireball like objects that have become common if not a predictable event here in our neck of the woods.

At approximately 9:30 last evening I was dog walking beneath a beautiful clear and starry sky. I was looking in the SE, when over the top of the trees on the south side of the Thames river, I saw what I first thought to be a low aircraft and wondered what it was doing so low. The distance between me and it was a few blocks. By the time it had made it’s way, skimming along the tops of the trees, and across the river a minute might have passed by if that.

I stood in the road and watched it sail silently southward, all the while looking oddly like a meteor traveling parallel to the ground. I continued watching it until I lost sight of it heading toward Delaware along the river. When I got my bearings to head home, I found myself thinking, or rather wishing someone had been here to see this with me when from the N west I hear the approach of a low flying aircraft.

I knew it was low before I even saw it, because I could feel the rumbling in the ground at my feet, if you know what I mean. Sure enough, an aircraft made a fly by over my head and across the river right where I had seen the fireball object mere moments before. I was cursing the odds that this aircraft had just missed seeing this thing, when I watched the aircraft make an abrupt bank to the right over the trees and head in the same direction as the now disappeared slow moving fireball thing.

Well, woohoo, I thought to myself, now things are getting interesting and I hurried home to share this exciting news.

When I told my husband, he said he'd pay attention when he went outside, but neither of us saw anything unusual the rest of the evening.

That changed as we began the nightly ritual before turning in, from the upstairs hallway we could make out what looked like flames in the sky through a window that faced west. We both stood there at the sill and watched a repeat performance of what had occurred earlier. This time the object/ fireball came from the south and headed north in a straight line.

Before it was out of our line of sight we heard a loud rumbling and ducked bumping our heads on the wide open window sash. Another aircraft from the west flying east and flying very low. I wish I could tell you what kind of aircraft it was either time, all I know is it/they were loud, with an awful lot of lights, the last one seemed to have a protuberance at the tail and was very lit up with red and white flashing lights.

I think I was a bit relieved to see both of the aircraft to tell the truth, there is no doubt in my mind that the fireball was witnessed by somebody besides me. Whether or not this was all some kind of military maneuver (including the fireball) or whether the fireball was picked up and tracked is wide open.

Like I said, it just seemed way to interesting to let slide without passing on the information. Please let me know what your take on this might be, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks for your time.

Silver Bullet Shaped UFO Hovering Above Witnesses At St. Catharine's Ontario

From the Vike Factor archives (Brian Vike) http://the-v-factor-paranormal.blogspot.com/

Date: 1999
Time: Approx: 3:00 p.m.

In 1999 at approximately 3:00 p.m. on a Sunday in St.Catharine's we were stopped at the lights on Welland Ave. in front of the A and P. My husband noticed something just above us. Sticking my head out the window and yelling at the hubby to do the same.

We saw a long ship hovering about 500 yards and I could also see people looking our way. They too seemed to be in a bit of a shock, then in a instant it vanished. The sky was clear, not a cloud insight. We will never forget this once in a life time "great experience"

Additional information provided by the witness below:

Hello and your welcome,

St.Catharine's Ontario, that's correct. Yes my husband and myself were the witness in the vehicle. We had no pets with us at the time of the sighting.

There were a few people on the street, but I'm not sure if they noticed what we saw. We were pretty shocked and a bit dumb-founded. The shape was like a silver-bullet trailer, but alot longer and larger, quite frankly it was huge.

There looked to be an observation deck and I could see the people inside. Underneath this platform were many small shaped windows like seen on a ship. It was white/silver in color. No blue, red or orange lights that we could see, no haze was seen either.

One thing I will tell you is, that the people on that craft did notice us looking back at them and for a brief moment I made eye contact with one of them. This being looked just like me, female. She nor the others appeared to have large heads and big eyes. Then it vanished in a instant, I blinked and it was gone.

There was no sound that we could here. I said to my hubby how could something that big just hover. He has always been interested in planes etc., and he said I don't "explanatory" know.

What the heck was that? No aircraft did we see or hear afterwards. An older lady once told me, if your always looking up towards the sky this means your a good person.

I think my hubby and I are fortunate soul's for having the opportunity to see what we did that day. Enjoy your day.

Object Comes Out Of A UFO Over Ridgeway Ontario

Date: March 1, 2011
Time: 11:45 p.m.

Number of witnesses: 2
Number of Objects: 2
Shape of Objects: Sphere.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: First witnessed a very bright glowing object which appeared to be a meteor. Being familiar with the area and knowing that there are many planes flying around it was very evident that it was not a normal plane. The object came very close to the vehicle, me and a friend were in before stopping and hovering in place.

The object emitted a bright white light, but also 3-4 other colours which weren't as bright. After hovering for about a minute, the object sent down another object which appeared to come out of it. The object was blue and visibly smaller and a much duller light than the original object. The second blue object was sent down at a perfect diagonal to the original ship.

After the blue object had been sent down a certain ways the original bright object made a sudden movement which it had not made before and disappeared. I cannot say where the blue object went as I was trying to see where the original bright object was heading.
