Two Round Orange Objects In The Sky Over Pitt Meadows British Columbia

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was driving my girlfriend home when I saw a bunch of neighbors outside their house with cameras looking up. I said to my girlfriend, I wonder what they are looking at. After we parked in her driveway, I looked up and saw 2 orange roundish shapes which almost looked like fireballs in the sky.

They seemed to not move, we watched for about 3-4 minutes and then 1 vanished and the second one vanished about 45 seconds later.

Sky Lights Up From Halifax Nova Scotia To Moncton New Brunswick

Dark Sphere In A Field North Of Cobourg In Trent Hills Ontario

Time: Between 12:00 Midday and 1:00 p.m.

It was last year 2009, middle of July at north of Cobourg in Trent Hills. It was between midday and 1:00pm in the afternoon. I was on my brothers land with 5 other people, we were busy building a garage when I just happen to look up and in the middle of the field, about tree height there it was, a dark sphere about the size of a exercise ball and maybe 3 feet by 3 feet, maybe a little bigger.

No noise, at first it was there, then it wasn’t, then it was there, then it wasn’t and it was moving all this time as well towards us.

Then it was gone in about 15 seconds. It was strange how I didn’t yell out, "look everyone". It was like I was under some strange trace, I don’t really know, but I didn’t feel right and my brother saw it as well, but didn’t say anything until later that night when he said, did anyone see something in the sky? I asked him what he saw, he said it was a sphere. At least I know now I was not crazy or seeing things. I always believed there is other life forms out there, and to see what I saw and my brother to confirm the same. We are not alone.

Lights Coming And Going Out Of Mile Long UFO Over Whistler British Columbia

Full Description of Event/Sighting: My girlfriend and I were sat on the deck looking at the stars, there were barely any clouds that night. She saw a glowing green/blue oval object almost straight above us. It seemed extremely high, above the cloud height, more at airplane cruising altitude. It glowed like anything glow-in-the-dark would, but this must have been a mile long at least.

The glowing flickered now and again, and some times disappeared altogether. After 5 minutes we noticed it seemed to be moving slowly SW (slower than a plane would move across the sky), and a small light exited out of the object, smaller than a star, but still just visible and flew downwards left then right and disappeared behind a mountain to the north of us.

Another couple of times lights either emerged or returned back to the main glowing object, which curiously enough, at this point it only lit up when one of the smaller lights left it or returned to it, then faded out again to black.

It lasted about 20 minutes altogether, I can't explain it, it looked like a zeppelin, but glowed strangely and was far to big at that altitude, and the lights coming out of it moved too quick for it to be any plane or flying manmade object.

Huge Bright Object Shoots Upward And Disappears Over Grand Forks British Columbia

Full Description of Event/Sighting: This evening my boyfriend stepped out for a smoke. He called me outside quickly and in the north sky about 200 feet from the top of Observation Mountain (about 2,000 feet above ground and very close to a radio tower) was a huge very bright ball of light, hovering above the mountain.

A few seconds later we saw what looked like aircraft/jet/plane flying from behind it heading west. About 30 seconds later, the hovering bright light dimmed a bit and shot up straight into the air and the aircraft/flashing lights disappeared.

Bright Orange Object Seen Over Listowel Ontario

Full Description of Event/Sighting: The object illuminated the clouds an orange color, then flew out beneath the clouds. The object was flying northwest to southeast at a steady rate and altitude. It resembled the brightest orange sun at sunset.

The object was round with no tail and emitting no sound. The object was viewed for approx 1-2 minutes until it disappeared into some low clouds in the distance. Very curious as to whether there have been other reports in this area, as it was at 9:00 p.m. and hard to miss.

Red Colored Fiery Object Over North Ingonish Cape Breton Island Nova Scotia

Full Description of Event/Sighting: Not sure if you got this when I just posted, my laptop is acting up.

I was shutting off the lights and heading to bed when I saw something in the air coming toward our house. I thought it was a remote control plane, but I saw there was a fire glowing in this thing I was looking at. I called to my husband to come and look. It is nice to have another set of eyes so you know what you are seeing is real.

The object was about 3 feet wide and the same in height. It looked like a red canopy with a small fire on a flat surface. It was about 30 feet or so in the air, it moved at the same slow speed while we watched it. It never wavered or wobbled, never went higher or lower in the air. It was close enough that I could have hit it with a pellet gun if I had one. There was no sound from it, no hum or motor noise.

We live across from the ocean overlooking a small island we call Ingonish Island. This object came from the northwest of our home where there is just woods and it went over the house and we watched it slow and steadily go over Ingonish Island and out into the black of the ocean still in the sky at the same height and same speed.

It is a clear night here in Ingonish with no wind, lots of stars and a lovely moon. You could be outside with just a sweatshirt.

I have never seen anything like this and told my husband that we should phone someone, but who do you call. I looked in the phone book and phoned the Canadian Coast Guard, Joint Rescue Coordination Centre in Halifax, Nova Scotia. He listened to me and said that if he hears anything he would phone me back.

He asked if it might have been a flare, but we have a boat and I am familiar with flares and no, it was not a flare. He said after we spoke that it might have been a meteor. I said to him that if there is a ship out where this is flying in the ocean they would not need anything, but their eyes to see this. It was as clear as can be.

My husband and I have no idea what we saw and watched for about 4 minutes this evening, but I regret that I did not get a picture. The camera was on the table, but I could not believe what I was seeing ! I found your site online and decided to post. Maybe someone else saw what we did this evening. Thanks for listening. Never saw anything like it and may never again. Just wild !

Bright Burning Orange Object Over West End Of Ottawa Ontario

I saw your article, and last night at around 8:00pm I saw what you described in your article. It behaved in the exact manner you described. It flew away at a steady rate and was bright burning orange. Have you any ideas who may be operating this device? It indeed looked like a cloud ship amongst the other clouds, but I still don't yet know how It caught my attention. Anyways hope this helps you.

Yes, it was in the west end of Ottawa Ontario Canada, right in front of the beer store on Merivale road. Yea I know, beer store eh, but yea, it didn't make any erratic movements of any kind, as your posting said, it gently flew away from me and from my perspective looked like a cookie in the sky, from a side view. I am still not sure how it caught my attention, but I knew that it did not look like any cloud I had ever seen, the clouds where the same color that night, orange.

Anyways hopefully this information will be beneficial to you, for me, just left me with more questions and more uncertainties, aliens, or just the military spying on us intelligent ones ;). Anyways happy hunting. I'll let you know of anymore sightings, must have something to do with the chemtrails. I have seen the sprayings on August 29 and September 11, but now I think they are cloaking the planes, or using the UFO technology they so obviously possess. Anyways cheers mate.

Two UFOs Hovering Over The Trees At Horne Lake Road Qualicum Beach British Columbia

Full Description of Event/Sighting: While driving home from work I noticed a light in the sky. It was hard to tell how many meters above me it was. This light was round with what looked like a drop coming from the bottom of it. I saw it through the trees as I was coming down the hill and then I noticed that there were two of them, one slightly above the other, just hanging above the trees.

I slowed down, watching these to see if they were man made or what, exactly, they were. They were glowing and silent. I pulled over to watch them slowly move away and then they disappeared out of sight. I drove to the bottom of the hill, hoping to see them again, but there was no sign of them. A few months ago, I was talking to a friend about this and she interrupted, saying she had seen exactly what I had seen. Very strange.

Low Flying Pure White Blinding Light West Of London Ontario

Hi Brian, here's hoping your computer is up and running, not les than 10 minutes ago at 9:50pm, we were on the porch (having a ciggie) and watching the 'lights' in their usual S - SW spot.

My husband decided that it was too cold to stay and went inside, about 5 minutes later as I was heading back inside I noticed a light below in the sky through the trees and wondered what the heck that could be. I couldn't believe my eyes, a very bright light, about the size of a train engine headlight and seemed to rise behind and up through the trees and made it's way in my general direction.

The distance from me is about less than a city block. All there is between me and this light is one house, one cul de sac, one street, and the trees (forest) that I'm referring to.

This light was blinding bright and pure white. I stood there watching it get closer, now to my left S.E and realized it was too low to be a plane, and where were those flashing red lights. Then I realized that I was hearing nothing, when I thought that I actually heard a whine or hum, but not as loud as you'd expect. More like really loud cicadas all chirping in tune or something.

Was this a plane, it was headed in the right direction. The height was all wrong, much too low and what about that sound? We have cliffs not far from here that are around 700 or 800 feet high, two blocks away and this white light was between the cliffs and my house and around 1000 to 2000 feet in the air.

All the while the 'moving lights' in the sky flashed, and zig zag in their usual spot. This seems a little too close for comfort. I'm hoping you have a quick and easy explanation to put my mind at rest. We sure would appreciate it. Thank you for your time and consideration Brian.

UFO 2,000 Above Park Trail Near Thames River West Of London Ontario (Diagram)

Time: Between 6:00 and 6:10 p.m.

Three of us were walking the trails, we split up when the trail divides into two at the island. So two of our party took the path close to the river, I took the one higher up through the meadow. (both of these paths actually join up eventually, so it's a loop).

This spot where I'm headed is a pretty special spot, I picked it years ago as a place to leave offerings, where I face the four directions, give thanks, ask for help you get the idea. I had done just that, turned around and taken two steps and I had a thought, turned around so I did and wondered to myself why I'd thought of that.

There right in front of me, about a thousand feet or maybe two thousand is this aircraft. Beautiful pure shiny silver, no writing, no numbers nothing, but it and a blue sky with the usual puffy normal looking clouds. At first, I thought what kind of plane is that and why is it flying so low? I remember thinking it looked a bit like a space shuttle. It was pretty big, and I wondered if that was because it was so low. The thing that got me was the package or appendage that was on the back end of it, like a hump or one of those roof top carriers you see on cars.

Honestly, I just stood there looking at it and yelled out to my husband and our protégé to hurry up. I whistled for the dog and then I thought, what if my protégé is scared, maybe that would be a bad idea. Then I thought, say it's an airplane, and maybe that's exactly what it was anyway. Here's the thing, I was so taken by this sight I didn't realize for a while that it was dead silent. That's when I got afraid, I figured I had just been facing all four directions and saw no approach and neither had I heard anything that sounded like an oncoming aircraft when my eyes had been shut however briefly.

By the time the other two came up the path, this craft was gone, and as you would expect, my husband was pretty intrigued, but dubious that it had been anything unusual. We went back the way we had come, upon returning home I drew everything I remembered. I am attaching this for you to check out.


Two days later I was describing what I saw to the fellow that photographs my artwork and he said that maybe it was an AWACS plane. I had no idea what that was, so I looked up images and tried to determine if that was what I had seen . Lo and behold the pictures I found did have a bundle or package on the back end bit with a kind of projectile thing and the package sat on top of it. So I figured that was probably what I saw, just fore shortened because of my vantage point. Either that day or the next, I can't remember for sure that I read about the terrorist taken in to custody and brought to Ottawa from London Ontario, and I figured that must have something to do with what I saw.

I have no way of knowing if those AWACS are silent, are they? Could this be a logical explanation do you think, I was eager to think so. Then last night's occurrence, a repeat of the same? After my email to you I was, where else back out on the porch and I could hear this whiny humming from the south through the trees. I looked and sure enough, the white ball of light had moved.

I called my husband out, had him close his eyes and listen. He's a pretty easy going guy and he agreed, and I asked him what he heard. He said, "What's that hum?" Then I asked him where it seemed to be coming from, he pointed to the exact spot the light was.

When he opened his eyes, he said I'll be damned it moved. Despite all this he continues to say, repeatedly, "it's just a light, a humming light don't worry about it." I want there to be a logical explanation for all this, like the people from B.C. who had a similar experience and it was logically explained by that big derivable a couple of days ago. Surely we're not the only ones who saw this. Surely it was picked up and investigated on radar.


I'm not sure what I believe right now, and I'm sending you this because out of anyone I know you're the one with the sort of experience who I believe would either dismiss it outright or at least would consider the possibility that it has a basis in reality, or if in fact it fails to warrant any further consideration. Just tell me what your take on this is, really. I would greatly appreciate and respect your input on this Brian, regardless the outcome.

Additional Information:

Location: In a designated Park trail, near the Thames River just west of London, Ontario.

Time: between 6 and 6:10pm (it was 6:00 when our group split up and 6:10pm when I remembered to look at my watch when my husband and I hooked back up after.

Duration: From beginning to end, it lasted not even 5 minutes

Direction: When I turned around I was facing north, the aircraft was directly in front of me, just slightly to my right in the east. It flew slowly west in a straight line not changing altitude. I turned away from it twice, once to call my husband and whistle for the dog, and lastly to gesture to him to hurry up as he came up the trail behind me. When I turned around the second time it was either gone or I couldn't see it for the trees.

This park borders a residential neighborhood. The direction the aircraft came from being east, the location of London airport. Directly on my right or immediately to the east of where this occurred is the river. Then a 5 to 8 hundred foot cliff which is Komoka Provincial Park.

The area on this side of the river trails is the lowest point of a moraine, a small abrupt valley of sorts bordered by a floodplain at one end of the trail and the water/pumping station. I understand this whole area sits on top of an underwater spring or glacier. Directly or immediately to the west of where this occurred, in the direction the aircraft was headed is a pumping station and hydro lines, then gravel pits. It (hydro lines) run from east to west across the Thames River.

Bright Blue Flashes Over Amherst Nova Scotia Canada

Last night(13/09/10) at approximately 10:00pm AST, my girlfriend sitting in the car while I was in Wal-Mart. She saw 2 bright blue flashes in the sky and this was in Amherst Nova Scotia. My girlfriend thought it was lightning. When I got home and saw on Facebook that others reported seeing this in other parts of the Province, i knew it wasn’t lightning.

UFO Was Zeppelin

Although some UFO sightings are bound to remain a mystery, the vast majority of them, says Brian Vike, can be explained.

Such was the case this week when Vike received a report of a strange object hovering over Haro Strait near Victoria on Wednesday.

After posting a report of the sighting on his website, Sightings.com, Vike was contacted by one of the beings who had been flying in it.

Houston British Columbia Home For Sale

Our lovely home is for sale in Houston British Columbia. As much as we would like to remain in northern B.C. our family has all moved south so we have decided to do the same.

It's such a pretty spot in the back row of the park, with a private, fenced and gated backyard that looks out onto a field where the deer and moose often come to visit. Fisherman Observe And Film Disk Shaped UFO Over Willard Lake Ontario (Photo)

Sir, I am writing to you today because I found on the Coast To Coast AM site, a photo titled “white light in the sky”. The photo was submitted by a gentleman from Thunder Bay Ontario. As far as when the photo was actually taken, I don’t know as there are few details accompanying the shot. What I do know is that what that gentleman photographed is nearly identical to what we witnessed and photographed while on a fishing trip the evening of July 15, 2010 at Willard Lake Ontario approximately 300 km North East of Thunder Bay Ontario as the crow flies.

The time was approximately 8:30pm and my wife and 13 year old son and I were traveling in our boat in a southwesterly direction parallel to the shoreline some 250 to 300 meters from the shore. The sun was sinking in the west and the sky was still very well lit, however the trees along the west shore of the lake were shrouded in shadow. The wind at the time was light out of the west providing some choppiness on the lake which unfortunately dramatically affected the quality of the photo we shot.

The object appeared to be high over the shoreline and moving very slowly as we used landmarks to track it as it moved above the trees parallel to our path. We stopped the boat and snapped 3 pictures and watched it for 2-3 minutes as it slowly moved along a southeasterly path. During this time we noticed that the object was backlit by the sun and stood out clearly against the sky.

The object appeared to shine brilliantly from the reflected rays of the sun and it did not appear to be emitting any light of its own. The disk shaped object appeared to be fairly large and looked as though it was made of a highly polished metallic material and from our vantage point had no discernable features other than it looked like a perfectly round, brilliantly reflective disc set on its side.

We continued to watch it move slowly as we started to motor along in our boat and continued to keep an eye on it for another 5 minutes when it just blinked out like a light bulb being switched off. Thanks for your attention. Feel free to contact me if you have additional questions.

Bright Lights Zig Zagging In The Sky Over Kimberley British Columbia

Full Description of Event/Sighting: This could be nothing, but I noticed three or more very bright lights in the sky. They were brighter than stars and appeared bluish in color. They seemed to be blinking, but not moving. I went in for about 15 minutes and when I went back out, they were completely gone.

Do you know what that may have been? I also saw a very large bright lights about three weeks ago on a Friday morning camping way up St. Mary's road, past grey creek pass. Large, round and moving in a zigzag pattern and then just zooming away and then just gone. This happened around 3:0 am. It was the only I who saw them. I yelled for the others to come look, but they had been drinking and were passed out. Do you know what these could have been?

UFO Spotted Over Haro Strait Near Victoria British Columbia (Sighting Solved)

Full Description of Event/Sighting: My husband, mother-in-law and I were at a viewpoint on top of Mt Tolmie in Victoria. The sky behind us to the west was solid black thunder clouds, but to the east over the water the sky was clear. My husband was the first to see, in the east, what looked like a very large jet liner that was stationary in the sky. His comment was "That plane sure isn't moving very fast." He was right.

The object was bright white with no visible markings and was sitting completely still. If it was actually the size of a jet, it appeared to be about five or six miles away. If it was something else, the distance was difficult to judge as we did not know its size. We do know it was over the water. Although it was near the flight path from Victoria to Seattle and it was a bit lower than the planes usually are.

We've seen enough large planes to know that at a certain angle they can look like a long tube as the wings appear superimposed on the body of the plane. We took that into consideration. We also know that a plane flying directly towards or away can look like it is not moving. However in this case neither scenario seemed correct. It definitely looked like we were seeing the side of the object.

In that case it should have been moving. If it were coming right at us, or going away, it should have become larger or smaller. Actually, if we were seeing just the end of the "plane" that would have meant it was immense! None of that happened. It stayed exactly the same. After several minutes it suddenly seemed to shrink then fade away, although it did not change its position. Just as suddenly it reappeared a few seconds later in the very same place, in it's original size, shape and again a bright white.

After a few more minutes it started to move very slowly in a southerly direction towards the Straits of Juan de Fuca. I've never seen a plane fly that slowly and stay in the air! We discussed the possibility of it being a balloon or strangely shaped kite. We eliminated the kite idea as there was no wind on the water, in the trees far below us or on the mountain top. In fact it was unusually still. If it was some sort of tethered balloon it had an incredibly long string and at some point became loose.

However if it had been tethered then broken free it would be surprising that it managed to maintain a course that did not wander or deviate at all. We watched it for about 10 minutes. I wanted to follow it along the waterfront below and try to find, but we had to get my mother-in-law home. So, after much consideration, I decided to pass on the information to you as it really was an "Unidentified Flying Object". Perhaps some others saw it that afternoon and can give a better description or better still an explanation.

Hello Brian- The UFO that you report seeing on September 8th, was a zeppelin (dirigible) that was contracted through Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute in collaboration with the NOAA Marine Fisheries Service in Seattle and the Center for Whale Research on San Juan Island to take aerial photographs of killer whales. I was aboard the vessel and we did hover over an area of Haro Strait on the west side of San Juan Island called False Bay for approximately 45 minutes between 4 and 5 p.m. I will be posting a more in-depth article about the mission this afternoon. UFO Causes Power Problems At A Home In Cobourg Ontario

Full Description of Event/Sighting: We were just sitting down watching TV when the power surged, all the lights dimmed to a very dark orange, and the TV started to go wavy, like when you throw a rock into still water.

Then we all saw a really bright light coming from outside and we all jumped up and looked out the living room window, and there was this large oval white light. I swear it was daylight, it stayed like that for 30 seconds, then it really quickly went orange red purple then green and disappeared.

The power returned to normal like nothing happened, me and one of my friends talked about it after and we both feared for our lives as we thought it could be a bomb or something that's just how intense the situation was for me and I like to observe the stars.

I've seen other things that may have been a UFOs, but I tried to logically find an explanation, but this time I just don't know what to think. It happened so fast that we couldn't even find a camera, or even a cell phone camera.

Orange Light 20 Minutes From Bird River And Lac Du Bonnet Manitoba

Hi Brian, we have been talking about this strange orange light we saw going across the sky for a couple weeks now. Last week we found out our neighbour next door was looking at the same thing the same night. He was able to get his binoculars out.

We will relay your email address to him. We saw what appeared to be something on fire in the sky and could have resembled a ‘c’ shape. The object did not go fast and seemed similar to the sighting in Michigan. There was a storm just starting to brew and it was flying under the cloud line. Strange Looking Bright White Light Over Ottawa Ontario

Hi Brian, found your sight while doing a little Googling to see if anyone had seen a strange sight in the Ottawa night sky recently.

Here's what happened:

On Sunday, September 5th, at approximately 10:00pm (really not sure about the actual time), my girlfriend and I were sitting on our balcony overlooking the Ottawa River, facing north. We noticed a bright light approaching Ottawa and we both naturally assumed it was some type of aircraft approaching Ottawa's airport (as we are on the flight path and see aircraft all the time).

However, I quickly noticed that there were several strange things about this particular light. The light was approaching rapidly from an unusual angle (heading southwest instead of southeast which is usually the case as this is the direction of the airport). It was moving exceptionally fast compared to other aircraft that I have seen from this vantage point. There were no audible sounds, nor any flashing lights. Just a solid white light. It was not foggy, but there were some clouds scattered about in the sky.

It seemed to me that the speed (which was obviously impossible to estimate or relate) seemed to be extremely fast, but not as fast as watching a satellite passing overhead which would be hard to see from this vantage point as we're not outside the light pollution of the city. I remarked that if it were a commercial jet, it would not have appeared to have been moving so fast as it approached Ottawa unless it was really low in the sky and yet, there were no visible flashing lights nor any sound). I know what an approaching commercial jet looks like, and this one did not appear to be a jet.

As it approached, the light became more brighter, but it still remained a solid white light (no flashing). After about a minute, or so, observing the light as it came closer to our position, it rapidly adjusted it's course (and began heading southeast) and as it turned, the light quickly became less intense. It seemed obvious to me that the vehicle had picked up speed and was now climbing. I was fairly sure that the aircraft had just banked to it's left and was now climbing rapidly. Within a few moments, the faint light disappeared behind one of a few clouds in the sky. I tried to watch for it amongst the cloud and thought that I may have caught a glimpse of it again as it passed near the lower section of the cloud but looking past the cloud and estimating its speed and last known direction, the light did not reappear anywhere.

I am not saying it was a UFO, but it was unknown to me because I'm used to seeing flashing lights on every aircraft I've seen moving rapidly in the night sky. I'm working on the hypothesis that it was a military jet which changed course and climbed when it neared Ottawa airspace, but it was definitely a strange sight. I assume that military aircraft also have flashing lights however.

Orange Light Over Brampton Ontario (Picture)

Hi Brian, my boyfriend and I were driving home at around 11:00pm on August 20th, 2010 and we noticed a orange light in the sky. We were around Bovaird and Chinguacousy and the light was in the northwest sky.

The light appeared stationary, so we decided to drive closer for a better look. We pulled over to take a picture and as soon as I got out of the car the light/object moved away (NW towards Georgetown) and then within two seconds it disappeared.

The picture is very blurry but the light/object we saw is right in the center (looks like a tiny dot).

Bright White Light Flying Low Over Kelowna British Columbia

Hi, I think I saw the same thing in the sky that the lady saw. Sept 3 at about 8:45 pm. It was a bright white light about as high as a low flying plane, no noise or flashing lights that are on a plane. It went right over me then faded out and disappeared. It was in my sight for about a minute and a half. Weird.

Additional Information:

Kelowna B.C. Canada. I was reading on the site and a person from Penticton B.C. saw the same thing I did a night earlier. I went to let the dogs in and noticed it was warm out and clear so I thought I would look at the stars for a bit and there it was.

I watched it go right over me for a minute or so then in two seconds it just faded out and was gone. It kind of looked like the headlight of a low flying plane, but no other flashing plane lights or plane body or noise.

It was way to low to be a satellite, you could see stars and satellites way off in the background. I've spent a lot of time gazing at the stars and that is the first time I saw something like that. A day earlier a few people in Kelowna phoned into the radio saying they saw funny lights in the sky during the day. UFO?, ball lightning?, strange weather? who knows, but that is a first for me.

UFOs Over Kelowna British Columbia

Hi there, I to have been seeing the UFOs quite frequently, in fact I was watching them tonight. It looked like 2 white lights pouring out of the handle of the big dipper. Last night it came over head. It was a bright light that came to a stop, then shrunk to a small light and faded out. In July I saw them then to. I have a big tree in my back yard. My son and I were watching the sky it came down from the west.

It was a very large amber colored light. Once it went behind the tree we could not see it anymore. I have been trying to get people together in the Kelowna area to form a sky watch group, but people seem to be shy or afraid. Is anyone interested?

Object Looked Like A Cigar Shaped UFO Over North Eastern New Brunswick Canada

Hello Brian, I have just read your story on Sightings.com because I have seen the exact same thing you described this evening. I figured I'd Google it and try to find an explanation and I fell on your site. It was around 11:15pm, but there was only one. The people we were with said they had seen it last evening too, but didn't think too much about it until tonight.

The one we saw tonight looked like it was gliding at a steady slow speed from SE to N, but not in a straight line (we are situated in North Eastern New Brunswick, Canada). It actually looked like it almost came to a stop, turned to face north (at that point it was losing it's brightness, but looked like a cigar shaped object) and just started a climb through the clouds.

We could tell there were clouds because no stars were to be seen, and besides, we are expecting hurricane Earl to hit tomorrow in the Maritimes. Our friend was quick enough to grab a pair of binoculars and said it looked like a big ball of fire as he could see the orange brightness dancing.

Anyhow, we thought it was really weird and we had the same discussion you posted on your site, could it have been an air balloon? No because the fire goes on and off plus we should have been able to see the balloon lit up. Could it have been a satellite? No because it was under the clouds and too big and orange. A flare? No because flares are usually red and come down instead of climbing up. So, if you ever find an answer to this UFO, let us know.

Six Or Seven Orange And Green Lights Seen Moving Towards Stoney Creek Ontario

Hi On July 9, 2010, I saw the lights too. There were 6 or 7 of them and they looked just like airplane lights, but with no noise. They flew towards Waterdown all in parallel to each other. They flew also and turned toward Stoney Creek direction and then went out. They ere orange and 1 or 2 were green. They moved in sync, side by side. Lots of people saw it. Regards.

Gun Metal Black Cylinder/UFO Over Kelowna British Columbia

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was called out to the balcony on December 10, 2009 at 15:50 by a co-worker who had been looking at large black cylinder in the clear sky for several minutes already. He asked, "do you see what I see? Is that what I think it is?" There was a third person on the balcony who was listening to our conversation while looking at the black cylinder, however she did not comment whatsoever.

I saw this gun-metal black cylinder, which to me seemed massive as it was very high in the sky. It was roughly at a 35-40 degree angle with a small contrail and was moving very slowly at first. It seemed to stop, hover, then resume it's slow speed (I have found an online photo of the exact object we saw, pretty much the same size and position at www.thetechherald.com in an article called 'Mystery Cylinder UFO Spotted Over British Holiday Resort'-Stevie Smith).

It behaved this way for approximately 10 minutes. I had to leave the scene to tend to work. Roughly 3 minutes later this same co-worker came to me and said the cylinder accelerated at an unthinkable speed then disappeared. We both had never seen anything of this sort!

That night I explained it to my husband who is ex-military, and he did not have an explanation either! Now, today, September 2, 2010 I heard on the local radio station that at 08:15 several people had called in a blue light that had a small contrail, which hovered, then disappeared. A speaker from the local observatory said the only things this phenomenon could be are remnants of asteroid belt that recently passed through Kelowna (of which a small meteorite hit a construction site!) that hit the stratosphere or a "spacecraft".

For the rest of the day I have noticed an unusual amount of activity in the sky in a relatively contained area. It seems to be military action as up to 7 high-speed crafts flying extremely high (with decent binoculars all I could see were thin, slightly triangular silver crafts. They also reflected a lot of light). These crafts left long double contrails and flew in all directions, two of which were flying behind each other as if chasing, patrolling... or whatever. Today's activity is in the same 'area' as the black cylinder I witnessed with ! my co-worker eight and a half months earlier.

We then went out to our back deck and watched as it continued on and over the mountain horizon until we could no longer see it. It made no sound, no flashing lights like you would see on an airplane. Very strange, and very interesting.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: Hi there, I have never filed such a report as this, but I feel compelled. I walk my border collie most nights around 7:30 p.m. On August 31, 2010, we took a familiar route on a nearby street. The evening was cool and grey with low cloud cover, and the daylight had turned into a half light.

The street lights were on 20 minutes later. Something caught my eye to my left and about 200 feet above some houses was a stationary object, probably dark grey or brown, and about five to ten feet wide in size. There were no lights on it. It appeared square, possibly cube like, but as it rotated it disappeared for a second or two, as though it may have been two dimensional.

I discarded the possibility it was a kite, because there was no wind at all. We walked about 40 feet and looked up again and saw it. We walked another 40 feet, with some tall pines blocking our view, and when I looked up again past the pines, it was gone, no trace at all anywhere. It did not reappear. Just thought I would share this. Thanks.

About 9 years ago, my daughter was driving home from work about 11:30 pm. She was almost home when all of a sudden a bright light appeared before her, she stopped her car and she noticed another car had stopped coming towards her. (Both cars were coming over a small bridge).

My daughter got out of her car, as well as the occupant of the other car.,They watched this bright light coming towards them.,She couldn't see anything, just this blinding bright light.,All she remembers after that is looking at the other person and getting back into her car and driving home. My daughter got home and she was extremely upset and shaking, I asked her about what happened. My husband and myself calmed her down.To this day she gets upset talking about this.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: On Sunday August 29, 2010 my daughter and I were outside on our deck, when she noticed something in the sky. She pointed it out to me, I then called my husband to see it. The object was climbing into the sky and very large, relative size about a yard.

Actual size maybe a mile long. Object was a white-orange colour. No blinking lights and no exhaust. Object was coming from over the trees, but very far away. We could see it climbing into the sky very clearly because of the size.

We watched object for about 10-15 minutes until we could no longer see it. The object came from the west and went north after it had passed the cloud line. I have not seen anything this close to the earth or this large before. I have noticed other objects in the sky before and they all are heading north, curious isn't it.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: Sorry I can't be specific as I only found your website today. If I can find the exact date, I'll send it to you. I was on my own sitting on my covered deck on my farm overlooking the Nechako River as usual-enjoying the darkness and night air. I noticed a bright orange, fiery, round shaped object sitting above the river.

It did not move and seemed to radiate light in a star shape. I watched it for about 30 minutes and then went to bed. Next day I sat in the same position and looked over to where I had seen it. Because our deck is covered, we cannot see the stars. It must have been low over the river. Sorry I wouldn't like to guess how high up, but must only have been about no more than a few hundred feet. No noise came from it. I did not feel afraid.

Witnesses Report T Shaped UFO Over Smithers British Columbia

Hi, my name is (name removed) the Date is August 31st 2010. Smithers, B.C.

At 9:00pm we saw a flying object in the sky in a T shape, spinning in the sky. Then afterwards, and it is still going on at 10:40 pm. This bright orange light comes and goes in the sky then disappears, but it goes in circles around town in a stream. As we were driving, we looked over towards Tyhee lake, and there was a bright white light shining up from the lake with a bright orange light over top.

Then within seconds, it disappeared again. We tried to follow this light, but it goes to fast. It is still going around and this is since around 9:00pm tonight. Please email me and let me know what's going on, we tried to get video of the object, but it was too late, it disappeared and not even a minute after it disappeared, there was the bright orange light kind of like a fog circling Smithers British Columbia.
