Object Stops And Continues Traveling Over White Rock British Columbia

From White Rock, B.C. I have been watching this "star" for the last 20 a 30 minutes. I am facing east looking at the moon and it is at about the 5 o'clock position if the moon is in the middle of the clock. When I first noticed it, it was moving rapidly left to right (south). Then it stopped still very bright.

And then stayed in the same position for a very long time. Much less bright now and still moving, but much slower. Police helicopter? Space station? I have no idea. Do you see it, it's still there now at 145. Do you have a telescope to check these things out.

Large Orange Glowing Object Over Whitewater Park Azilda Ontario

Time: Evening.

Hi My name is (name removed) I'm an Azilda resident and me and my boyfriend and 3 of our friends and a bunch of campers saw a large orange glowing or even possibly burning object in the sky over Whitewater Park in Azilda last night.

Strangest thing I've ever seen came close enough to look like it was baseball size and then gradually got smaller and moved from west to north east at a speed faster than a satellite and slower than a local bush plane.

It was soundless and moved in a very bizarre curved like path the whole incidence lasted for at least 45 seconds as we all got up and followed it until it disappeared. We were all wondering what the heck it was any insight or reports from other people would be interesting. I'm attaching a picture I got with my crappy phone camera I adjusted the brightness and zoomed in about 200%. Thank you.

Amateur Astronomer Spots UFOs Over Northern British Columbia ?

Hello Brian, I am an amateur astronomer from Northern British Columbia. I have been watching the skies for many years and know the northern sky very well. I have also studied the UFO phenomenon for many years and have never been convinced that any have been ET in origin.

The two objects I saw tonight are like nothing I have seen before. I observed both objects with the naked eye and with 10x50 binos. The second was observed for 10 minute and seen by my neighbor. (sorry I did not have my 12.5" scope set up at the time)

Do we have large satellites that can change direction, speed or stop? Do we have something bigger than the ISS up there I'm not aware of? The object was much brighter than the ISS or the occasional flare from it.

The second object was bright (est. mag. -6) It was blue in colour (like Vega) with a large orange-red round faint light beside it. I have never seen anything like it before. Any ideas?

I may have video of the first object, I will look at the footage later tonight.

6 Glowing Objects Over Tecumseh Ontario

Time: Just after 9:00 p.m.

Hello, I came across your site while looking up UFO sightings in Tecumseh. Just after 9:00 o'clock, here in Tecumseh we (6 of us) spotted about 6 glowing orbs travelling in the same direction through the sky.

Hard to estimate how far apart they were, but if I was to guess, I would say they were about 200 yards apart. We spotted them by looking up at about 40 degrees into the sky. They were travelling from South to North..

Myself, my Aunt and boy as well as the neighbours went outside and watched them pass. My guess is they were some kind of surveillance drones that had their lights on? Just shortly after, a jet was approaching for a land into Windsor Airport so they must be required to show their lights while crossing area near airport approach lanes? Have you had anyone else report seeing this type of light around here? Thanks.

UFOs Seen Again Over The Skies Of Surrey/Newton British Columbia

I have Goosebumps reading your article. I live in Newton and I think I seen the exact same thing that you (witness) saw. I saw it going south from what I think is White Rock, love to tell you more.

Additional Information:

I too was smoking outside my basement suite and noticed a star shaped and colored object appear out of nowhere. They started moving south from where I live in Surrey/Newton B.C. towards White Rock/U.S. border and was only visible for maybe 3 to 5 seconds.

It was a clear night out and I saw planes flying to the Richmond Airport all day and night, but this was 11:00pm and it was either too high up in the stars or too low to be flying at aircraft level and way faster than anything I have previously seen. This happened Monday July 26th, 2010. I've seen many shooting stars and this was no withering star that's for sure.

UFO Travels Over The Water North Of Ignace Ontario

Full Description of Event/Sighting: While fishing near Bell Lake we were sitting at our camp, about 11:00pm when I saw 4 lights across the bay in the deep wooded area. Three green and 1 red, the next night the pattern of the lights changed to 2 green and 1 red light.

While shining my spotlight in area of the lights, I saw a long flat, low object appear to travel across the water at a very fast rate. There were two objects in the which looked like large spheres about 18" in diameter.

UFO Appears Like Stars Over Haliburton Ontario

Hi there. I read the sighting. Here is mine. I was cottaging in Haliburton and my son had a group of friends around the campfire. The lake was very quiet. I went out to check on things around 1:00 - 1:30 a.m. As I walked back to the cottage, a flash in the sky caught my eye. It was a very clear night.

There was a grouping of stars which began to brighten and became very, very intense in brightness. This lasted for a couple of seconds and then the entire grouping of stars started to dim to the point that you could not see them.

After about 5 seconds, the same grouping of stars once again became very, very bright, then dimmed again to the point you could not see them. This grouping of stars also moved a fair distance in the approximate 10 minutes that we all stood and watched them. It was very strange. There was no noise.

It crossed my mind that perhaps it was some type of UFO framed by star type lights. This would have been a very large UFO if it was. I mentioned to my son and his friends that if anything strange happened to get into the cottage. It was just a very, very strange group of stars.

I peeked out throughout the night to see whether they were still around, but my I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me.

I too was curious if anyone else had witnessed this so I Googled strange star sightings for July 18, 2010 and there was a couple on an Alberta UFO site that saw exactly what we saw and the description of the sighting was what we all saw. The sighting in Alberta was at 1:00 a.m. on July 18th.

I had an uneasy feeling. My son said it was probably a satellite and therefore I didn't pay too much more attention to it.

UFO Speeds Across The Sky Over White Rock British Columbia

Hello, my name is (name removed) and I currently live in White Rock B.C. On July 26th 2010 at around 11:00pm, I was outside in my dark yard smoking, when I looked up to the sky (something I usually do) I spotted this star beside another. A few seconds later, the star I was looking at was no longer sitting in the same spot. At first I thought I was dizzy because the star now seemed to be moving along the sky horizontally heading north.

The UFO was not flashing lights or anything and was moving at a pretty high rate of speed which shows it was not a plane, it was completely quiet and zoomed across the sky in a matter of seconds ( I assumed it was somewhere near the border when it was stationed and sped across to the delta area which took around 5 seconds.

The UFO then started to dim and finally disappear out of view after it slowed down again. This was my second experience seeing the same UFO from last week. It seems to be flying in the same airspace or change directions. Thanks and please let me know if anyone else has seen the same experience around my area. The craft was white, orange-ish. It completely looked like a star.

Hi, on July 24th I was at Wreck Beach in Vancouver BC at around 5:00pm and I looked up and saw two aircraft that looked strange. They had to big round bright lights and were skinny. I attached a Photoshop drawing so you can get a better idea of what they looked like.

It was a clear day, no clouds, I looked up and thought it was a strange looking plane and then it vanished and I wondered if I saw that right.

Then there was another one following closely behind that one and it vanished into thin air as well. Nobody else was looking so I don’t have anyone to back this up. No drugs or alcohol was involved as I’m a pregnant lady.

Bright Green Object 20 Feet Above The Roof Over Shelburne Ontario

Full Description of Event/Sighting: On June 24, 2010 in Shelburne Ontario on our front lawn we were sitting around in a semi-circle with 4 neighbors talking when suddenly directly above my neighbors house across the street from my house a bright green orb appeared through cloud cover about 20 feet up from the roof of the house, it was there and gone within 2 seconds, but my husband and I saw it clearly. Our 4 neighbors had their backs to the orb, it was here and gone too fast for them to turn around, but it so startled me that I shouted and jumped out of my chair.

Thankfully my hubby caught it too. It was perfectly round, made no sound what so ever and glowed bright green. It seemed to me like it could of been hiding in the cloud cover then popped out and back into it, almost like coming in for a closer look.

On July 23, 2010 I was sitting alone on my porch, around 8:00pm a huge weird cloud moved over my street directly in front of our house. I took pictures of the weird cloud formations and would like to know if it was a natural phenomenon or something else. Where could I post the pictures? And what exactly is a green orb and why here in Shelburne? Thanks.

Red Object Circled By Green Lights Over Kanata Ontario

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I saw a single round red light in the sky, stationary at first, then it moved slowly around. Then green lights (3 or 4) started to rotate around the red light. Then they disappeared leaving only the single red light. I'm 99% sure it wasn't a plane or helicopter (no noise), it may have been a laser on the cloud base, but the red light descended below house levels.

Anyone else see this light? The movement of the light was not like any aircraft I have every seen, I didn't see if there was any shape to it. It lasted about 20 minutes or so and got some bad pictures with a crummy camera.

Huge Planet Like UFO Observed From Victoria British Columbia

Two Strange Lights Seen From Kits Beach Vancouver British Columbia

Hi, I would be surprised if no one else saw it because there were 300,000 people on the beach last night (July 24, 2010) for the fireworks, but around 9:00pm while sitting at Kits Beach we saw two lights (almost like slivers) in the Northern sky. One faded out and came in at a different location, while the one sat there for sometime before moving to our right and disappearing behind the mountains.

The one was visible for at least 10 minutes. We asked the people next to us to check it out and we all scratched our heads as to what could sit there above the mountains and then move so gradually out of site.

Not sure if you have heard anything else on this sighting, the fact it was still light out may have prevented it from being seen by most people.

Objects Seen Over Terrace British Columbia

Full Description of Event/Sighting: While returning from fishing, we went to get the gear out of the back of the van, in our driveway. Our friend, happened to look up at the sky, while making a comment about the full moon and said, "What is that"? I looked up and saw what appeared to be a bright, light, almost like a star, floating in one spot, then to another spot in the sky, just under the clouds.

My husband then looked and saw the same thing. We watched this *object* hover about from the right to the left, and commented about what it could possibly be. A weather balloon, or just a homemade device. Too high up, so, to make a long story short, our friend had to go home, so we said our good nights and headed into our home.

My husband went out onto our back deck, and I went out with him to see if we could spot that light again. Looking eastward, we could just barely see it, when I happened to look back in the original spot, and there was another object, 2 lights, hovering and going back and forth.

I ran into the house to find the binoculars, came back out, looked at them, but they still look like lights, no plane or helicopter, we then called our girls from downstairs to look, and they looked also. We still have no idea what it is, and we don't have powerful enough cameras to try to take a video or picture.

The objects were in the southern part of the sky from where we were looking. Very interesting. We were kind of wondering if perhaps they could be weather balloons? Thanks.

Unknown Bright Light Observed Over Lacombe Alberta Canada

Full Description of Event/Sighting: It was bedtime and I went to lock the inside garage door, but decided to take a look outside. My cat was in the grass and came over to me when I opened the door. I bent over to pet her, then stood up and looked up into the beautiful, calm night sky.

There in the northern sky I saw a bright light in the sky. At first I thought it was a plane, flying close by, but noticed there weren't any other blinking lights. Then within a few seconds the light disappeared, like someone had turned off a light switch. I tried to find any plausible source of the light, but wasn't able to see anything.

I thought it possibly could have been a falling star, but this object did not move or "fall" like they normally do, nor did it leave a trail as it burned up. I am not sure if it was a UFO, but it sure has me wondering what it was! Would be nice to know if anyone else saw it too!

Another Witness Observes UFOs Over Edson Alberta

Date: Beginning June 2010.
Time: Approx: 10:00 p.m.

I have watched some footage on YouTube of this multicolored UFO over Edson Alberta and I confirm that this is the same UFO I have seen on many occasions. The first time I saw it I was walking with my wife on the north end of town around 10:00pm in the beginning of June, 2010.

The UFO was to the northeast of the airport hovering and then travelled to the west at a height of approximately 300 feet and slowly increased in altitude to an incredible height and blended in as a star, but still blinking, and stayed in this position approximately towards Hinton.

It is there every time the sky is clear at night. Then a couple weeks later a second UFO travelled over the houses in the north end at a height of approximately 100 feet towards the south and slowly increased in altitude to an incredible height and blended in as a star, but still blinking and stayed in this position approximately towards Calgary.

Then a week later the UFO towards the south was hovering over the water tower in Edson approximately 100 feet, it was as large as a vehicle and bright. Now the UFO towards the south is gone and appears in the north towards Whitecourt and blends in as a star, but still blinking.

So now there is two UFO's with red, blue and greenish blinking lights hovering in the clear night skies. If this old man flying kites can tell me how he flies two kites at once, misses power lines, endless kite string, travels at a fast rate, smooth direction of travel and always between the hours of 10:00pm and 4:00am doesn't he sleep?

Lights Chasing One Another Over Cassidy South Of Nanaimo Vancouver Island British Columbia

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I had just been picked up from my friends get together at his house, and I ended up leaving at 11:30pm. It takes about 5 minuets to get to the highway turnoff from his place, and my mom and I were about 30 seconds from pulling up to the light to turn onto the highway and heading home, but we saw something in the distance of the night sky, so we pulled over, shut the car off, turned the lights of, and sat in silence, to hear if they made a sound.

There were 3 very, very bright lights, two of them looked like they were chasing each other in circles (very small circles) and they did about 8 loops, then immediately stopped. As we watched them, my mom and I noticed how slow they were moving.

The speed that they were going was nothing that can be matched to a known existing aircraft, the 3rd object was moving as slow as the other 2, but only after about 3 minuets the object stopped and for the rest of the time we were there and it was like it was watching us, very strange.

The two constantly moving craft soundlessly moved along the tree tops from where I could see they were. They went dim, then brightened back up again, and after about half an hour those 2 disappeared. The third craft stayed in the same place as it had been, prior to the disappearance of the other 2.

They all had odd patterns of flashing lights, nothing I've ever seen on a known aircraft, and there were very large amounts of light coming out of the forest where I was sure they disappeared into. When they would disappear, we saw what seemed to be sparks and white fire coming off them as they descended in the trees.

By the way, when we first arrived at the sighting spot, they were very high up in the sky, I'm not sure how high, but they were very high up and also before they moved along the trees, Two of them moved straight down and we figured out that they must have been over some farms, or the forest seeing this is all there is. Ladysmith is 10 km south, and Nanaimo is I don't know how far away Cassidy is.

This is what my mother and I saw last night and we sure haven't seen anything like this before.

Object Glowing Brightly High Over Richmond Hill Ontario

Hi Brian, It seems like the more I look at the sky, the more unusual things I see.

Last night, I looked up to the stars again and again I see a faint star moving at a steady pace and in one direction. So again I thought it's just a plane flying in a really high altitude. I kept my eye at it because it was very faint. Then my thought that it was a plane completely changed again.

As it was moving in the same direction, it started glowing very brightly, as bright as Mars if you see it in a clear night sky. It was not an airplane light blinking because not far from it there was a plane doing it's usual blinking. It was like a steady glow, then the glow died down and the object disappeared into the dark sky. I'll let you know more as I see more of these star-like UFOs.

Large Green Round Sphere/Ball Of Light Hovering Over Burnt River By Kinmount Ontario

Full Description of Event/Sighting: My friend,(who is now deceased), my cousin and I were at his family cottage in Kinmount Ontario right by the Burnt River in the summer. His cottage was approx: 100' from the river, and there's was a small bridge close by where we used to go fishing or whatever.

Anyway, the three of us walked over to the bridge after a long night of partying, and we were all pretty sober by that time which was approx: between 4:00-5:00 a.m.. The sky was so clear and we could see the stars uninterrupted by any city lights, and the moon was behind us in the opposite direction, and there wasn't even a breeze that night.

It was so quiet except for the mosquitoes flying about our heads as we all stood there on the bridge, elbows on the railing, smoking our cigarettes and looking across the river talking, cracking jokes, and enjoying the peaceful surroundings.

Across from the river, and it's wasn't a very wide river, one could see the tree line of the forest, and that's it, no other cottages or tents, nada. As we were standing there talking, I noticed across the lake directly above the tree line, approx: 200-400 feet in the air, I'm not a good judge of distance, a large green round sphere/ball of light just hovering there. It was solid in colour and so there wasn't any transparency, and it didn't give off a radiance like that of the sun or a light bulb.

So, it didn't light up the night sky, it didn't pulsate, it was just a bright green light and it was perfectly round and totally silent. I kept starring at it and I was unaware that the fellows had also stopped talking as they were watching it too. So we were, all silently watching as this perfectly round green sphere/ball, hovered in the night sky just ahead of us across the river.

It was the same colour green you would see at a stop light, and if you were to take a ping pong ball and hold it at arms length in-front of you, that's how big the green round sphere/ball, or whatever you want to call it, was over the tree line across the river. It began to move up at a great speed into the air at a 45 degree angle and then back to it's starting position again.

Then it shot straight up in the air approx: 1000 feet above the trees just as quickly and back, and then it moved across the top of trees and back again. Then it shot up once again at a 45 degree angle and back again. Then without warning it took off at a 45 degree angle one last time, and it was so fast that it took my breath away, and then it was gone! I was so disappointed that it was gone as I stood there in the silent night not even being aware of my friends, because my mind was reeling from what just happened.

When all of a sudden I excitedly burst out loud, "Did you see that!" Their response, which was just as excited as mine was, "You saw that too!" We all got that nervous laughter and we began to talk so fast and we got so wired awake that it felt like each of us drank six cups of coffee, LOL!

So we ascertained that we had all seen it and we spent several more hours on that bridge brainstorming as to what it could have been. My friend thought that it might have been a weather balloon, and then it was concluded that weather balloons don't make maneuvers like that and that quickly, and then shoot up out of the sky at lightning speed. My cousin thought that it was perhaps a hot air balloon, and then it was concluded that it would have been to dangerous to fly in the dark, plus they don't have the capability to move that fast. Those movements were direct, precise and deliberate, and that tells me that there is an intelligent element behind it. After a great deal trying to figure it all out, we all came to the same conclusion that;

A. It wasn't a hot air balloon
B. It wasn't a weather balloon
C. That it might have been some secret project that belonged to either our military or a top secret group that is conducting experiments in that area.
D. Or that it wasn't something from our planet at all.

My personal belief is that it was something not of this world, but far in a distance galaxy.

I have never forgotten that moment and never will. I had already been watching the skies for UFO's for a few years before that, but that one really took me by surprise because I wasn't thinking about UFO's that night. I'm hoping that one day I will come across something like that again, only this time I hope to have a camera with me.
