Prince Rupert. British Columbia Bright Light Hovers Then Moves Off

Posted: February 23, 2009

Date: February 20, 2009
Time: Evening.

Last night, February 20, 2009 there appeared to be the same bright light off the west coast of Prince Rupert, B.C. I first noticed it on Sunday eve passed. I thought it was a bit bright and strange. But last night it does the same thing as the other nights. It goes really bright and then it fades. I was discussing this with my husband who is a fisherman and he said they saw the same light out fishing the other night. But this light had moved when they were fishing and it hovered down low then took off. We believe it is the same light, because it is in the same spot as before. We are not sure what it is, but it is definitely not normal. We live right on the harbor side of Prince Rupert and it is very bright at times. Well not sure what it is, but it is not a normal star. Maybe it's a UFO. Thanks for your interest.

Thank you to the witness for their sighting report.

UFOs Or ? Caught On Film Chathamkent In Southwestern, Ontario (Picture)

Posted: February 22, 2009

Date: February 14, 2009
Time: Daytime.

this is a photo that was taken on a landscape photo session that my sister does quite often. She does not know what to make of it but it does present some intriguing ?

This was taken from Chathamkent in southwestern Ontario. I've never seen something like this before except on TV and the internet, it may be nothing but then again we can't figure it out. It was taken on February 15 2009.

Additional Information:

Hi Brian, My sister was simply driving and taking photos, not really paying any attention. She discovered it when she viewed her pictures afterwards.
Nothing in any other frames before or after the photo was taken. She takes hundreds of pictures. I guess sooner or later something would show up kind of unexplainable. She said post it no problem.

Thank you to the person for sending in the report and thanks to his sister for allowing me to post the photo.

North Of Highway 401, West Of Highway 400, Toronto Meteor Sighting

Posted: February 18, 2009

Date: January 19, 2009
Time: Approx: 8:08 p.m.

Number of witnesses: 1
Number of objects: 1
Shape of objects: Resembled a falling star.
Weather Conditions: Clear night sky with some clouds, and it was cold, sub-zero celsius.

Description: Meteor Sighting

On Monday, 19 January 2009, I was driving north on highway 427 in Etobicoke ON, and approaching the eastbound ramp to highway 401, when I started watching a commercial passenger plane that had apparently just taken off in an eastward direction. As I was merging onto the 401, the plane was still ahead of me and slightly to the east. I'd guess it was a few hundred feet above the ground. It was approximately 8:08 p.m. when I saw what looked like a shooting star low in the sky, falling straight down, in a slightly westward direction. From my angle, it appeared to be slightly behind and below the passing plane. So at first I thought it might have come from the plane, but then later I thought it must be a meteor because the plane wasn't high enough for a dropped object to heat up from friction. The object was bluish-white hot in colour. So it probably entered the atmosphere from space and started burning up on the way down. I watched it for two or three seconds before it would have reached the ground. I didn't actually see it hit the ground, as it went out of sight behind the skyline of some low buildings. From my angle it appeared to have landed north and east of the Radisson Hotel in Rexdale, and to me it appeared to be quite close, maybe a kilometer or two away. However, it's hard to judge distance when you don't know the size of an object, so it could have been much farther. As I watched it fall, the object flared up and got brighter, and in the last second or so several orange sparks were flying off it in a sideways direction. I thought it might start a fire if it hit a building, or at least leave a scorch mark on the ground where it landed.

TV/Radio: I called 680 News in Toronto to report it, and the man said he had received three other calls about it last night.

Northern British Columbia Canada Police And A UFO

Posted: February 18, 2009

Date: August 13, 2009
Time: 1:00 a.m.

Number of witnesses: 3
Number of objects: 1
Shape of objects: Light in the sky.
Weather Conditions: Clear.

Description: We were traveling South by automobile from Alaska to Washington State through Canada. At approximately 1:00 AM after entering the BC territory, several police vehicles were stopped with officers outside of their cars along roadway many miles from any town.

After passing the officers we noticed a light in the sky that appeared to be an aircraft vehicle hovering. Two of us were awake and debating what type of aircraft it was. We stopped to relieve ourselves alongside the road, still observing the lit vehicle in the sky. It then moved with such speed that we literally ran without a word to get back into the truck out of fear. We drove at a high rate of speed to the next town. When there, the object was a very great distance away and appeared to not be moving. We pointed it out to our other passenger who was now awake and to one other and debated what it was. A while later we went out from our hotel room and checked on it again, it was gone. It was never close enough to identify it's shape. The speed at which we saw it move earlier was beyond anything possible.

Ajax, Ontario Numerous UFOs

Posted: February 18, 2009

Date: January 20, 2009
Time: Approx: 9:00 p.m.

Number of witnesses: Only my wife, but caught on camera.
Number of objects: 4 big and approx 8 small.
Shape of objects: With naked eye the big ones were saucer and dome type and the small ones were some round and some triangles, but on camera they are all big round color lights.
Weather Conditions: Clear, no moon, temp. Aprox -20.

Description: Actually the sighting started after I've picked up my wife from work at Ashburn, more precisely while driving on Myrtle Rd. Westbound, then continuing on Lakeridge Rd. Southbound and Taunton Rd. Westbound. After I dropped my wife home, I grabbed my camera and I went back to get some shots. I finally saw them again while driving on Lakeridge Rd. Northbound where I stopped and start filming. Then I started to chase them and I drove up to Pickering but they disappeared and I saw lots of helicopters and very slow moving weird planes going in circles like if they lost something, looking for something.

I've managed to film approx 20-25 mins.

This is not the first time I saw UFOs, actually I could say that for me it is normal.

Maple Ridge, British Columbia Canada Fast Moving UFO

Posted: February 17, 2009

Date: February 15, 2009
Time: Approx: 7:15 p.m.

Hello, just wondering if anyone else saw a strange light in the sky last night, February 15, 2009 about 7:15 PM. We were watching TV and I happened to look out the window and noticed a light which I thought was an airplane. But then it zoomed across the sky and disappeared. It didn't leave a trail, but the light wasn't like a dot, but more like a dash. The speed with which it moved across the sky just caught me off guard. I was in Maple Ridge looking toward the west. The light did not appear to be very high up. Space junk?? Something else?? Definitely not a plane. Thank you.

Thank you to the witness for their sighting report.
