Shiny Metallic UFO Over Hayward California

Brian Vike's Favorite Cases.

Date:  May 8, 2011

Time:  Approxamtlty 3:00 p.m.

Number of witnesses: 2 (my husband and I)

Number of Objects: 1

Shape of Objects: Round.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: We were north bound on Mission Blvd in Union City, CA when just after passing Whipple Rd, I noticed a shiny roundish object moving NE.

I had a camera, but when I looked up to take a picture, it was gone within 6 seconds and I couldn't find it floating anywhere. Total time from when I first saw it flying until it disappeared was about 20 seconds.

Weather was warm, with beautiful blue sky with white clouds and this happened at about 3:00 p.m.

According to my husband who was able to spot it while driving, the UFO was flying over freeway 238 and 580 going NE and up at about a 30 degree angle and spotted at about 3000 feet. Speed may have been 50-100 MPH.

It was not spinning and it was all a shiny metallic trapezoid with a right angle on the lower left object and a flat bottom.

Thank you to the witness for the report.

Shiny Metallic Colored UFO Observed Over Brentwood California

Brian Vike's Favorite Cases.

Date:  October 28, 2011

Time:  Approxamtlty 2:00 p.m.

Hi, at around 2:00 p.m. today, which is October 28, 2011, I was driving down Balfour in Brentwood with a clear view of Mt. Diablo. I looked up into the sky and just over head, was something strange flying over the mountain. It was a shiny metallic color which just didn't fit.

It was flying faster than a regular plane and seemed almost change form as it turned. It wasn't the shape of a regular plane either. I watched it for about 20 seconds than it was gone. Nothing. Coincidentally, a police car sped around me with their lights on as the plane had vanished. Maybe someone else saw it.

It struck me funny because I was reading the last sighting on this page was on the same day as well.  Kind of weird.  Never have I seen anything like this before.  Thanks.

Thank you to the witness for the report.

Shiny Metallic Cigar Shaped UFO Over Moose Jaw Saskatchewan

Brian Vike's Favorite Cases.

Date:  July-August 1969 ?

Time:  ??

Message: Back in 1969, several members of my family and some neighbors across the street saw a shiny metallic cigar shaped object in the sky over the southwest area of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan.

It hovered in the sky for several minutes and then shot off.  I was nearly 5 years old at the time and cannot personally remember the incident. However, several calls were placed to the airbase regarding the sighting and it was reported in the Moose Jaw Times Herald.  It was reported sometime in July-August, I think.

Also, back in 1947 when my mom was a girl, she and a number of students during recess at Westmount school in Moose Jaw saw several strange objects in formation hovering and moving in the sky above the school yard.

Thank you to the witness for this report.

UFO Was Shiny Like Bright Aluminum And Seen Over Montreal Quebec

Date:  May 30, 2012
Time:  10:10 p.m.

Hello, I just saw a UFO going from south to north over Montreal at 10:10 p.m. I am in NDG and was sitting on the back gallery and saw it. It was not a plane nor a helicopter I am 100% sure.

It moved to gracefully, was shiny like bright aluminum and was very fast and there was no noise. Thanks.

Ottawa, Ontario Object With A Shiny Metallic Surface

Posted: August 28, 2008

Date: August 28, 2008
Time: Approx: 3:00 p.m.

Hi Brian, Today (August 28, 2008, about 3:30 PM, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada), I saw something in the sky that I never have seen before in my life. But I
suppose it might have some natural explanation. I was just standing outside of the front of my house waiting for the garbage truck to come by. I was facing East, looking at a clear blue stretch of sky. Suddenly out of nowhere, I saw what appeared to be the glittering reflection of the sun (the sun being at about 45 degrees above the Western horizon, shining from behind me over my right shoulder) bouncing off of something like a shiny metallic surface. But that was all there was to be seen.

There was no object to go with it. I will speak of the object, that is, where one would have expected it to be (and it seemed like there could be up to three objects in formation flight). I watched until the glittering disappeared, which went some good distance across the sky. The glittering got smaller as the distance got farther away. The object was travelling at high speed, low altitude, with no sound whatsoever. It was travelling from North to South, over the city. I have seen on the Internet where scientists have developed an invisible suit. Could this have been an "indirect" sighting of an invisible UFO?

Thank you to the witness for their report.

Etobicoke, Ontario A Shinning Orange Ball

Posted: April 26, 2008

Date: April 2008
Time: Evening.

Hello there, my name is (name removed), 23, and I live in Etobicoke, Ontario. I live on the tenth floor of an apartment building and our windows all face north west. In the distance, I can see Pearson Airport (Toronto). The planes taking off, landing, even helicopters all day long and every day. It never lest up. We can see them from very far away, nonetheless I know what a plane looks like :P

Over the past, say 4 weeks I have noticed at night that there is a shining orange-ish ball, like a bright star or meteor that seems to appear in the sky north the airport (it's probably way out there, but this is what I can see). For a couple weeks I put it out of my head, like it was a bright star, or a satellite, or something. But now that it has appeared in the same area week after week for at least 4 weeks now, starting around the beginning of April 2008. Tonight is the first time that I have actually gotten out of bed, to try to examine it closer with my telescope and I have to admit it has driven me to do some research on the internet and of course, I ended up reading your site. It appears to me, as best I can seem to focus with the telescope as a burning ball of some sort. Seems to flicker colors, usually staying mostly red and orange, some green though.

Any information, or links to possible sources would be great. I just felt that after having seen this phenomenon more than a handful of times, that I had to mention it to someone and not many people are very interested when you ask weird questions, specially ones about space.

Thank you for taking the time to consider my message. I hope to hear back from you soon.

Outside Of Barrie, Ontario A Shiny Ball With Tail Behind

Posted: March 31, 2008

Date: March 10, 2008
Time: Between 1:00 and 2:00 p.m.

Hey, seen your post online. I was wondering what it was as well. My fiancé and I were driving home from the bike show in Toronto and we were just outside of Barrie. We seen it to the left of the windshield. It looked pretty far away but it was a shiny ball with a long tail of fire streaking downward toward the ground. It lasted maybe 2 seconds. I was sure we witnessed either a meteor or a plane crash. But it left no smoke trail.

Additional Information:

Yeah Brian, for sure. We seen it on march 10th probably in between 1:00 and 2:00 pm. Man, if you seen it in Sudbury it must have been big and had to have left a mark.

Thank you to the witness for their report.

Hamilton, Ontario A Shinny Point Of Light In The Sky

Posted: February 24, 2008

Date: First week of August, 2007
Time: Between 3:30 - 4:00 p.m.

Number of witnesses: 1
Number of objects: 1
Shape of objects: Uncertain -- a shining point of light could be seen.
Weather Conditions: Not a cloud in the sky.

Description: I was sitting in my backyard marveling at the clear sky when something in the East caught my eye. It looked exactly like a star -- except that this was in the middle of the afternoon. I watched it for around ten minutes. It seemed to be quite far up (I can't even guess how high) but it didn't move from its fixed point. It didn't get any bigger or smaller until after around ten minutes, when it just suddenly disappeared.

TV/Radio I didn't tell anyone until now. This has been bothering me for the past couple of months. I didn't note down the day. In fact, I only remember that this was the first week of August because I was on vacation from work.

Embrun, Ontario A Shiny UFO

Posted: January 23, 2008

Date: March 17, 2007 Time: Daylight sighting.

Approach Direction: Southern, mid- horizon. Departure Direction: South. Witness Direction: South.

Description: I have a soliciting job (I live in Orleans)and on Saturday March 17, 2007 we were selling in Embrun.

I was doing a street alone. And when I was finished my street, I took out my walkie talkie out from my pocket to tell my boss to pick me up because I was done.

While I'm waiting I sit on a snow bank, look up in the sky, I sigh with amusement because the sky was perfectly clear and the sun was covered by a house so it was easy to see.

I look over and see what I think is a plane for a second but then I realize it is not. First of all is was awfully low, there was no noise at all, no smoke coming out from the back of it and there were no wings or tail, just a ball. The weirdest thing is that it was the shiniest thing I ever saw. It was so shiny not even chrome could match up to this. It was as shiny as a mirror, it was pretty small at first but then it was getting a bit bigger. 30 seconds later I see it slowly moving to the right. but then for some reason it moved really slowly beck to the left but it moved down a bit too. After looking at it for about 3 minuets I think in my head " I hope my boss comes soon because I really want him to see this" but about 20 seconds after, that the thing just diapered. I didn't even blink and in a fraction of a second it was gone.

I continue to stare in the same area for about 2 minutes but nothing came back.

Then when my boss picks me up I'm talking to him about what I saw and he said "yup UFOs have been known to be seen flying around Embrun".

Color/Shape: shinny, circular, highly reflective.

Height & Speed: due to the shininess and area of horizon height was difficult to determine. Slow at first, then disappeared.

Old Montreal, Quebec Shiny Spheres Were Crossing The Sky

Posted: January 18, 2008

Date: June 24, 2006 Time: 3:55 p.m.

Hi Brian, What I’ve seen today was quite amazing and I’m sure, I wasn’t the only one to observe it. So, I’m reporting it to you in the hope that some other observers will come out who have seen the same thing and maybe something even before or after my sighting.

This afternoon (June 24. 2006) I was at the Old Montreal waterfront area. Sitting on a bench and looking towards the river, quite far away, above the South Shore I noticed a small, bright, reflector like dot in the blue sky. Sometimes descending airplanes make a similar effect. I looked at my watch, it was 3:55 p.m. I didn’t really bother but it drew my attention again because for minutes it became stationary.

The sky was blue with just few small clouds here and there. As I was looking at the light, slowly it started to ascend. It was moving almost straight up at the same time slightly towards the south. Bit after 4 p.m. a big passenger jet came from the south crossing the east side of Montreal. The airplane flew at regular high fight altitude and the object seemed to be above it. Of course there is no sure way to tell this but it seemed to me being at a higher altitude.

Around 4:10 p.m. it became so small (still ascending) that I lost sight of it. It's ascending movement was quite even with little jerking, wobbling interruptions. I was thinking, “it’s maybe a meteorological balloon” however the strong light didn’t make sense. Not one minute gone by, I was looking up towards the same direction and two, the exact same looking shiny spheres were crossing the sky at an extreme rate of speed (at least three times faster than a regular jet). I’m saying spheres, because they were closer now and they seemed sphere or oval like.

This time I left my bench and moved to the river where I could see the sky without obstruction. Nothing happened for a while. By the way there was all kind of regular air traffic. Advertising small planes over the islands and the South Shore, jets taking off from Dorval (now Trudeau) International Airport, high flying birds and few choppers.

I was just following with my eye some flying birds when out of nowhere two very shiny, in tandem flying spheres appeared. They were flying fast south towards the US and within one minute I lost sight of them. This was at about 4:40 p.m.. Five minutes later the same(?) two appeared coming from the north-west but flying much higher than the previous duo. They were flying in a playful way doing turns and not purposefully flying in one direction. There was a slight blue halo around and between them. After about one minute circling (both still very close to each other), they started to ascend until they seemed like one object and disappeared. (They didn’t merge though.) I spent the rest of the time on a bench just trying to digest what I’ve seen and jot down the time frame and some other notes.

It was 5:50 p.m. and I just decided to go home when two other bright objects appeared. One had an elongated somewhat irregular shape, the other one was just a small dot and disappeared within seconds leaving only the bigger one visible. It’s difficult to describe but it moved bit erratically, maybe spinning but not in a regular fashion. Seemed like it has a constantly moving irregular shape. Very bizarre. After not longer than a half minute it became smaller and smaller until it disappeared moving fast upwards.

I was out till 6:30 p.m. but non of the objects came back any more, so I decided to go home.

Some other observations. There were extremely high flying birds above the river but they have a recognizable way as they fly. Besides one can see the sun’s reflection on them, sometimes stronger, other times they disappear due to no reflection. And when they come down flying lower they’re obviously birds. The objects I’ve seen might have reflected the sun but they seemed to have their own glow too. The first object could have been a balloon but all the others had some characteristics which I’m not able to identify. The fast spinning, last one was very weird even scary.

There were quite a few people around (it was a nice Quebec holiday), however it was not the crowded part of the waterfront. I was alone but when I pointed out someone one of the objects, he just shrugged his shoulder and walked by. I’ve seen one cyclist in the distance to stop and obviously looking at what I was looking at. He was too far from me to contact him besides I didn’t want loose sight of the objects. However these events must have been visible basically form everywhere around the harbor, the islands and from the South Shore. Not to mention their flight path for example all the way down to south, maybe into the US. The waterfront was noisy, motorboats, airplanes, etc., so I can’t be sure about sound but I couldn’t tie any special sound to what I’ve seen. Brian, if you need, I can send you a map showing my location and the surrounding area.

Two years ago I had a somewhat similar but shorter sighting. It was north of Montreal, in the city of Laval.

Thank you to the witness for the report.

Country Harbour, Nova Scotia A Huge Golden Shiny Object

Posted: January 15, 2008

Date: January 15, 2006 Time: Approx: 1:00 a.m.

Hello. My friend told me that I could send a report to you about what I saw this Sunday. Sorry if my grammar is bad I don't usually type perfectly. Anyway, my name is (removed), I live in Nova Scotia. I was staying at my grandmothers for the night which is right across the road from my house and they went to bed about 12:00 am and I stayed up to watch TV for a little while until about 12:30. About 1:00 in the morning my grandmother was in her room with her door shut and I heard " oh my god (name removed) (who is my grandfather) she said, "look at the moon it is so big" .

I went in to see what was so interesting and there on the hill behind their house was this huge golden shiny and absolutely beautiful round object about the size of an air balloon. We quickly realized it wasn't the moon because the moon wasn't out, or something. I really wasn't paying attention. Anyway, it was a round shape and we could see the bottom of it because it was covered by the hill. You wouldn't believe how shiny and golden this was. We live out in the middle of nowhere so we knew it wasn't any man made object. We all went scrambling into the kitchen, looking for the binoculars but didn't find them, so we went back to the room and it was gone. Nothing was there just the hill. The object made no sound at all ,very quiet.

Also when my grandfather was out back of his house back in 1988 he saw a strange red object not much bigger than a beach ball hovering above him and it made no sound at all either. He ran back to the house not knowing what it was.

He was panicked so he didn't want to stick around. Also that very night in 1988 someone filed a report in the news paper of the exact same red object that made no sound, it was spotted on the highway and my grandparents never mentioned it to anybody!

Well thank you for letting me tell somebody who is interested! I also love your website! Thank you and take care!

HBCC UFO Research note: I received another report from a person who is the friend of this eyewitness who explained what they saw in this report.

Thank you to the witness for the report.

Vancouver, British Columbia I Noticed A Shiny Object

Posted: January 14, 2008

Date: November 25, 2005 Time: Approx: 6:00 p.m.

Message: Around 6:00 pm on November 25, 2005 in Vancouver BC. I went outside for a smoke and looked up to a clear sky. I noticed a shiny object in the sky but disregarded it as a satellite. I then noticed that it was moving slowly. Someone came out my front door and I turned my head. I turned around again and the light was gone. I kept looking to see if it would reappear and it did not. What I did notice were two high flying planes shortly after that had different lights then I've ever seen in the night sky. I got the impression they weren't commercial but that they were military. It looked just like a satellite but if it were moving slowly it would have been there when I looked back but it wasn't. Just curious if anyone else saw the same thing.

Thank you to the witness for the report.
