A UFO Experience At Mt. Laguna AFS

Brian Vike's Favorite Cases.

Brian, Enjoy reading your articles and thought I should "chime" in on the following: Re: There were also some guys who did a night time "Close Air Support" drill at Yuma Marine Air Base in Arizona who told me a great UFO Story.

If any of you who actually experienced that sighting and are reading this, please relay your story.

I had an experience while in the U.S. Air Force stationed at Mt. Laguna AFS which might be related to the above. The 751st Radar Squadron was located about 12 miles north east of Pine Valley California on the edge of the desert and mountains at about 6,000 feet elevation. The time period was in the mid 1960s, probably 1965, in the mid summer evening about 20:00.

Still light and clear skies and from that height over the clear dry desert you could sometimes see the Salton Sea. I was walking over to the "Ops" building from the AN-FPS-26 tower just as one of the "ops" officers was arriving.

He was looking east out over the desert and pointed to a light about the size of a green pea held at arms length. He asked me what did I think it was. I initially thought it was a naval military aircraft flying out in the area of the El Centro Naval Air Station which was in that direction about 45 miles east, and in the line-of-sight of Yuma, Arizona.

After about 30 seconds, the light started to strobe and change colors with green, blue, red, white and yellow. Then I didn't think it was a Navy plane because I would only expect to see green and red position lights and landing lights. I don't know if strobe lights and a white tail light were required at that time for aircraft.

I do know that Blue and Yellow were colors in the unknowns changing light scheme and those colors are not used in aviation. There were other incidents at this radar station during my tour of duty, 1965 - 1967. Some I personally experienced and some I heard from others. Very interesting times indeed.

Thank you to the gentleman for this interesting story.

Three Triangular Shaped UFOs Seen From The Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton California

Brian Vike's Favorite Cases.

Date:  Early 1990’s

Time:  Evening.

While stationed on Camp Pendleton for TAD in the early nineties for reactive armor upgrades for the AAV there, I saw something similar. I was working second shift. We were doing two twelve hour shifts to get all the mods done. During my break I walked out to the bay behind the ramp where all the vehicles were kept and I was looking at the water.

I thought I saw three triangular shaped objects in the water. There was no noise. Then I realized that what I was seeing was a reflection of something in the air. I looked up to see three smooth black triangles floating by at a constant speed in a triangular formation.

There was no light or sound and the only reason I could see them was because there was a bright moon and the reflection of the moonlight off the calm water refracted off of the bottom of the objects which were no more than 500 feet off the ground.

They were each about thirty feet from corner to corner and completely smooth as far as I could tell. I have only told this story to a few select friends because I'm still not sure what to make of it myself.

Thank you to the witness for the report.

Ex Military Man Observes Bright Orange Red Ball Over Loring Air Force Base

Brian Vike's Favorite Cases.

Date:  Fall of 1965.

I was assigned to the 42nd Combat Defense Squadron at Loring from 1964-1966.  I had a similar experience while securing a B-52 download in the fall of 1965. In this case, a very bright orange-red "ball" overflew my remote hardstand, and the flight line, in a perfect zig-zag pattern.

It seemed to be very large, and at an altitude of about 1000 feet. I watched it until it disappeared over the horizon. Later I mentioned it to one of the flight NCOs, but I never heard anything about the incident.

However, many years later, in 1979, I was working in San Francisco. The Chronicle had a feature called, " The Question Man". The interviewer would question random people on the street. The question one day was, "have you ever seen a UFO?" One person responded, " yes, when I was at Loring AFB in the mid '60s.... He went on to describe exactly what I saw.  I tried to contact him, without success.

I don't tell this story to just anyone,  but I thought you might be interested. Sincerely.

Thank you to the witness for the report.

UFO Sightings At Walldorf And Rhein Main Air Base

Brian Vike's Favorite Cases.

Date: 1980-1981

Time: Day/Night

Number of witnesses: 7

Number of objects: 3

Shape of objects: 1 cigar 2 oval white lights.

Full Description of event/sighting: This is a description of 2 incidents that occurred while I was stationed at Rhein-Main Air Base. I was there between 1978-1983.

Sometime in the summer of 1980 I was sitting in the backyard with a Lt. Col in the Air Force, a Danish engineer and 2 German stewardesses at their apartment on Otto-Hahn Strasse in Walldorf (they had a bottom floor so they had a small yard). I just happened to glance up and noticed what I thought was a commercial jet flying several thousand feet up.

I thought it was a jet until I noticed that I could not see wings or a tail. I mentioned it to the others who also saw the object, cigar shaped with what may have been windows on the side (that's why my mind grabbed at a commercial jet). Since it was headed towards the sun my second thought was that it just they way the sun reflected on it but the Danish man grabbed binoculars and saw that there were no wings.

The two stews became very upset and did not even look at the object as they stated they had seen enough UFOs for a lifetime and did not want to talk about it. I am sorry that I do not remember their names.

The second sighting the next year was really several weeks of sightings. Its kind a funny because everyone at Rhein-Main knew about it and watched them for a while before it became boring. There were two objects above the airport (since it is shared with the Frankfurt Flughafen) that were seen every night. They were straight up and looked at first like a star or planet until they moved.

They would dart back and forth and would do a L shaped maneuver without stopping. My now ex-wife's brothers came over for a visit from the states and I told them the story of the UFOs and they laughed. I took them outside where I worked and without knowing if they were still up there told them to look up and there they were. It scared both of them pretty badly that they would not look up.

If it helps with credibility I was stationed with the 1945th Comm Group. I was involved with the Return of the 52 hostages from Iran in 1981; one of the aircraft seen in the pictures tail was 10T4 as I was the radio operator. As I said, for part of my time there I lived on Otto-Hahn Strasse in Walldorf, a short time in Worfelden and some years on the base at the housing area.

Anyway, I have held these memories long enough and hopefully someone will come forward with pictures or verify the story.

Thank you to the witness for the report.

Serviceman Observes UFOs Over Moody Air Force Base Valdosta Georgia And In The North Atlantic

Brian Vike's Favorite Cases.

I was stationed at Moody Air Force base in Valdosta, Georgia in the early 70’s. My job was training student pilots in the flight simulators I was assigned to. I was making a milk run for my family one evening in 1973, driving from our house to the base convenience store.

The sky was clear and if you know anything about South Georgia you know that the lay of the land is very flat. I observed an extremely fast moving light about 30 degrees above the horizon moving roughly south to north from the air base. I slowed down to watch what I now believe to be a UFO moving across the sky at an incredible rate of speed.

I observed the object abruptly change direction by what I would estimate to be 30 to 40 degrees to the east. Within just a few seconds the object was no longer in sight. About 30 to 60 seconds later I saw two chase planes leaving the air base in what appeared to be an attempt to intercept the UFO.

The planes used to chase the object are supersonic jet training planes. What I observed was an object that was moving at what I would estimate to be at least five times faster than the jets in pursuit. Result – not even a contest. UFO was gone!

After separating from the Air Force in 1978 I worked a few odd jobs in the electronics field. I acquired a job with the Naval Oceanographic office in 1981. I was an electronic technician assigned to an oceanographic research ship that surveyed the North Atlantic.

One cloudless October evening, about 2 hours before sunset while in the North Atlantic above the Arctic Circle, I decided to take a short break while there was a lull in the ship’s activities. I walked out to the fantail of the ship and sat with my feet hanging off of the starboard side of the ship.

The water was amazingly calm and clear. About a quarter mile from the side of the ship I observed the water glowing from below which as you might imagine immediately caught my attention.

Imagine an extremely bright spotlight shining up through crystal clear ocean water from a depth that was in the neighborhood of 8-10 thousand feet deep.

Within what I estimate to be about 2-3 seconds, a sphere of white light exited the water.

I would estimate the size of the object to be the size of a beach ball. As if that in itself was not amazing enough the object did not disturb the water at all upon exiting and was totally silent.

The object left the water and ascended vertically at an unbelievable rate of speed. I would estimate the time from exiting the water to moment the object disappeared from view into the clear evening sky to be less than 3 seconds.

Classic Grey Flying Saucer/UFO 10 Miles South Of Ft. Hunter Liggett Army Base Jolon California

Brian Vike's Favorite Cases.

Date of Sighting: June 1998 (Approxamtlty)

Time of Sighting: around 9:30 pm

Location of Sighting: 10 mi south of Ft. Hunter Liggett Army Base, Jolon, CA

Number of witnesses: 2

Number of objects: 1

Shape of objects: Saucer.

Full Description of event/sighting: At the time of the sighting my ex husband and I were living in the hills of the Central California coastal mountain range. My husband had mentioned that, the night before, he had seen a strange light on the horizon in the direction of the army base, and decided to go out on the next night and try to see if it came back. After being outside about 1/2 hour, he called me outside and handed me binoculars.

I saw what can only be described as a classic saucer grey, like two inverted saucers stuck together, and a row of lights around the middle. The lights blinked slowly off and on, and they were red, green or blue, and white.

This thing hovered low on the horizon, then shot off to the left in the blink of an eye and hovered there, then shot back and hovered, then turned on it's side, did some weird stuff (tip on it's side, then right itself again), and finally after about 5 minutes it slowly descended below the horizon.

Ft. Hunter Liggett Army base is an experimental testing base. I worked there for three years previously, and had seen things like the apache helicopters hovering still while shooting javelin missiles and whatnot, and this thing was not at all like anything I had previously seen on that base.

I thought at the time that the army had a working flying saucer and was testing it.  But I don't know, of course, and wasn't working there at the time of the sighting.

I have looked on the net and saw that there is an abduction story from a soldier stationed there in the late 60s.  It doesn't surprise me one bit.

Thank you to the witness for the interesting report.

Jets Scrambled After Unknown Objects/Personal Threatened At Cannon Air Force Base New Mexico

Brian Vike's Favorite Cases.

Date:  June 1975

Time: Approxamtlty 10:00 p.m.

Brian Vike's Note: The report below is new one to a growing list of incidents that took place at the Cannon AFB, in NM. With so many servicemen who have filed reports of unknown objects over the base, it certainly has become clear that the Cannon AFB was a location for many UFO sightings.

I would like to ask if any other folks have information about the UFO incidents that took place at the Cannon AFB, would you please contact Brian Vike at: brian_vike@telus.net. Thank you and please note that your privacy is respected.

Brian, Per our phone conversation, this is the "sanitized" and completed events of June, 1975 at Cannon AFB, NM:

Let me go ahead and lay my experience out for you.

I was an Airman, assigned to the 27th Tactical Air Command at Cannon AFB and I worked the swing shift on the flight line. It was a Friday night and as usual, I checked the ops board for sorties. F111-Ds had a nasty habit of landing broke more often than not and on Friday nights, that meant swing shift stayed late to fix any "red x" entries in the A/C maintenance log. I was relieved to note that nothing was scheduled and so I only needed to finish my shift and start the weekend.

At around 10:00 p.m., I heard the afterburners of F111s taking off. Thinking they could be from another base, I ran outside to see. Our base identifier, "CC", was on the vertical stabilizers of the two F111-Ds that were taking off in combat formation, two staggered abreast and simultaneous. I had never seen our birds take off like that - it was simply not done.

I approached our dispatcher and told him we had just launched two. We were both upset because we weren't supposed to have any training sorties that night and nobody wanted to stay late on a Friday. He called Ops and they told him it was a hot scramble after bogeys over the base that the radar shack was tracking.

I found out later that MMS (Munitions Maintenance Squadron) loaded the F111's with live air-to-air ordinance. I also heard that it wasn't the first scramble during this time frame, but I personally was not witness to any others.

The dispatcher happened to be friends with the radar operator on duty, so we called the radar shack and put him up on the external speaker. The (veteran) radar operator was totally flummoxed. He was tracking "two or three" bogeys making impossible aerial maneuvers at impossible speeds, at least 3,000 MPH  disappearing and re-appearing. He checked and double-checked his gear and it was fine, no malfunction (he was tracking our F111's fine). I jotted down the phone number to the radar shack and stuck it in my fatigue shirt pocket.

The two A/C landed about 45 minutes later, no ordinance expended and they were in good order, no late night work for me. I heard later that the pilots were not debriefed in the normal manner. I left the shop for the Airman's Club, socialized over a pitcher of beer and played some foosball. I made it back to the barracks at about 2:00 a.m. Seeing the phone on the CQ's desk, I decided to call the radar site, it was a small portable building out in the middle of a field. I was curious and wanted an update on the bogey situation.

The phone at the other end was answered by a "Capt. Kowalski". (A captain in the radar shack at 2:00 a.m. on a Saturday morning? no way! was what I thought.) I asked for the radar operator by name and the Capt.. stated that he was not there. His voice was loud and threatening. As a young airman, I was truly frightened by his aggressiveness and almost hung up.

To cut to the chase, Capt. K. interrogated me for some time about who I was, why I was calling and so forth. During that time, a few things became clear to me:

1. He was definitely not USAF. He used terms such as "serial number" and "CO" which were common to other branches of the armed forces, but not used by USAF personnel. Whoever he was and whomever he worked for, his cover was blown.

2. He may not have even been military. He swore, no curse words excepted with every sentence, lost his temper constantly, or appeared to for effect, and sounded more like a street thug than an "officer and a gentleman". To use a military phrase, he had no "military bearing". Having been raised in a military family, military bearing is not something one comes by naturally, nor is it easily relinquished.

3. I probably should never have called for that update!

Capt. K told me the incident never happened. When I refuted him, by saying I had watched the aircraft scramble and spoke with the radar operator, he stated that I was either insane or on drugs. His voice was constantly at a yelling volume and his demeanor, highly intimidating. He stated that "we can do things to you that make Leavenworth (max-security federal penitentiary) look like a picnic". Capt. K. told me they would be watching me and that I was never to mention this "non-event" to anyone. He also stated, "it's a big desert out there, people get lost all the time". I got the point.

In the ensuing days, I attempted to locate this Capt. Kowalski, entertaining the notion of bringing him up on charges of "behavior unbecoming an officer". He simply did not exist anywhere on base. I contacted the Communications Squadron who runs the radar shack to see if they know who this Capt. was. I was surprised when I discovered that the radar operator had suddenly gotten orders to a "classified location", nobody knew where he went and none of his friends knew about any pending orders. Imho, he was conveniently disappeared.

I have provided the details of this event to The Disclosure Project. They in turn asked if I would be willing to travel to Washington D.C. and testify before Congress to that effect. My answer to them was and still is, "affirmative".

Thank you to the witness for their interesting report.

Ex Air Force Serviceman Talks About What He Knew About The Clovis New Mexico UFO

Brian Vike's Favorite Cases.

Date:  January 1976

My next door neighbor and I also had some involvement with the Clovis UFO. I also knew Steve Muscato, the photographer who took the original picture for the local newspaper. His photo is of the stationary object that hung directly over Clovis for several days. I believe it occurred over quite a few days.

There was one stationary light, in addition to other moving objects that many people saw. Plus, there was a photo in the paper of a mystery object found in a field. At the time, I was 14 years old.

My next door neighbor Bob was an Air Force electronics technician who was an amateur ham radio operator and amateur astronomer. He and I spent a night on the top floor of the Hotel Clovis observing the UFO hanging in the sky. He used some sort of equipment to determine how high in the sky the stationary object was.

He excitedly reported that in his judgment the object was approximately 300 miles above the Earth. I also took some photos, but I no longer have them. Bob was told to shut up by the base and quit "exciting the locals with wild stories."  Bob didn't tell me about this, but his wife later related the story of the phone call he got from his boss, to my mother.

I also heard stories of guys coming from "Project Blue Book" to investigate, but my Dad, an Air Force master sergeant, said that was ridiculous because Project Blue Book didn't exist. As an adult, I served a number of years in the Air Force and my job put me in contact with virtually every plane in the U.S. and NATO inventory. Some have claimed that the UFOs were British harrier jets. Absolutely not so.

I grew up around jets my whole life and could identify them even as a child. Neither were they weather balloons. I would have to research, but I'm not sure the harriers were even operational at that time. In all reality, one has to try very hard in order to mistake a jet fighter for anything else. The whole thing was very interesting, and ended as mysteriously as it started.

There was no real closure. But if you recall, Clovis was part of a rather massive UFO "scare" that occurred for a few years  nationwide, beginning with the incident at Pasagoula, Miss, I think a couple of years earlier.  It was a busy time for UFO activity.

You can contact me at (private contact information removed) if you like.

Thank you to Jonathan for his report, and also thank you to this gentleman for taking the time to have a long telephone conversation over this event and other things.

Cannon Air Force Base Security Police Watch Numerous UFOs On Different Nights

Brian Vike's Favorite Cases.

July 1976 at Cannon Air Force Base

The following events occurred 30 years ago. The exacts details have become a little fuzzy, after all I haven't thought about this stuff for 3 decades.

I arrived at Cannon Air Force Base in November of 1975. I remember the night because there was about an inch of snow on the ground and the next morning it was in the 70's. It's true what they say about desert weather. LOL.

I was a member of the 27th SPS (Security Police) and the only event that I can recall  happening during January of 1976 was some talk of a plane crash that was supposed to happen, but everyone had different stories with different facts, so I passed them off as fairy-tales. But early July 1976 is a different story.

I was working Security and we were on rotating shifts, something like 3 days on days then 2 off, 3 days on afternoons and 2 off, then 3 days on nights then 2 off.

Anyways, it was my last day on nights and I was on patrol with another Airman and we were back by the Portales Gate (a remote gate that basic lead to the town of Portales, hence the name) when my partner pointed at something in the sky and asked, "what the hell is that"?

I saw a light in the sky that appeared to be hovering, maybe a couple hundred feet above the ground, just outside the base. We pulled over to the side of the road and observed it for a few minutes. It was blue on top, white in the middle and green on the bottom.

We finally called dispatched and asked them if they could contact Flight Tower to see if they had any planes flying. The response was that they did not have anything in the air. It was about then that our dispatch got a call from the Clovis Police and said that they could see some strange lights over the south side of our base.

They asked if we had anything in the air. The radio then came alive with other reports all saying the same thing, the light were being seen by others. The Flight Tower was contacted and their radar showed nothing in the sky.

We told dispatch how close we were to the light, and soon 2 other patrols were parked along side us watching it. One of them decided to drive towards the light and we kept in contact with them, to direct him, but as we gave directions and he got directly under the light it could not be seen.

Suddenly the light just seemed to vanish, gone in a blink of an eye. It did not fly away, it just disappeared.

The next night I was sleeping and it was approximately 2:00 a.m. when I heard a commotion coming from the hallway of my barracks. I got dressed and followed everyone outside to see what was going on. In the skies above us were approximately 12 lights that made a perfect circle around the base.

Each one was the exact same distance from the other, so I knew that this could not be by accident. I wondered if it could be related to the events I witnessed a few nights before. We watched the lights for about an hour or so and then it was as if someone had turned off the power to them, they went off one at a time in a circular manner.

The next night, I could not fall asleep so I went outside to take a walk around, hoping that would make me tired. As I was walking I found myself looking up at the sky and the next thing I saw was a single light appear, then another and another until all 12 lights had come back on like the night before. I noted the time and it was the exact time as the night before.

I ran back to my barracks, where the entire squad had assembled and several people had movie cameras and were filming the sky. As they did the night before, and at the same time, they went off one at a time, just like they had come on.

I eagerly waited the next night for the lights to appear, but they never returned.

The next month in one of the "men" magazines that were being sold at the time (I think it was (removed) magazine) had interviewed the base commander for an article about the lights. So if you want to read up on this, look for a back issue of (removed) magazine dated August or later of 1976.

Thank you to the witness for the very interesting report.

Cannon AFB – Numerous UFOs Zip Around The Base Burned Circles And Mutilated Cow (Excellent Eyewitness Audio Interview)

 Brian Vike's Favorite Cases.

To listen to the telephone interview I did with the eyewitness, please click on the below link: https://jmp.sh/WUF59N3

Date:  January 1976

Brian Vike's Note: This report is one of a few sighting reports I have received from ex-military serviceman who worked out of the Cannon AFB. All the men filed reports on seeing numerous unknown objects over the AFB back in January 1976.

I have a list of military people who operated out of the Cannon AFB and I am writing to each and everyone of them in hopes they might be able to shed some more light on this major event. If possible that is.

Brian Vike - Director of Kamloops British Columbia Canada UFO Research has set up an telephone interview time with this gentleman who filed this report below. Actually I will be doing the interview today. Later this month when I appear for my regular guest spot of the Jeff Rense radio program, I will be bringing this gentleman with me so he can relate his story to us all, and it is going to be an amazing conversation.

Lastly, and very important, I am looking for other military service men and women who were at the Cannon AFB who has any knowledge of the UFO events that took place at the base in 1976, would you be so kind as to contact me with any information on the sightings. Always, please keep in mind I will hold your personal information here, and I will not release it to anyone.

Also if any other military folks who have had an encounter with something unexplainable over or around a military base, would you be so kind as to contact me with the information. Brian Vike can be contacted at: hbccufo@telus.net or visit my website which is given in the report.

Hello, my name is (removed). I just watched a Sci-Fi program on the 1947 Roswell NM UFO crash and got to researching an incident I witnessed at Cannon AFB in January 1976. In my search I ran across your article http://rense.com/general58/spspc.htm.

I was working the Security Police Desk that night at Cannon and was the one that called the report into Base Operations. A few days later I also spoke with an individual from Washington DC. I don't recall his name or department.

The first report was from Sgt Whitt, who was stationed on the outer perimeter of the flight-line. After that, several reports came in from Base Patrols. I talked someone into handling the Desk for me so I could have a peek.

I was allowed into the flight tower and looked at the objects (about a dozen or so) through a Starlight Scope. Flight Ops was concerned enough to scramble 2 F11's to give chase. Around midnight several of us went up onto the highway overpass and cut the overpass lights for a better view. We watched them until almost dawn.

About that time there were also several burned areas in farmer's fields surrounding the Air Base. I saw two of the circles. The burned circles were approximately 30 feet across and had a dead cow in the center. All the flesh was burned from the cow, but no blood was on the ground or apparently in the cow. Some of the cows had neat, clean burned out cavities in the abdomen about a foot in diameter, and a foot or so deep.

I would like to thank you gentleman for his report and looking forward to speaking with his shortly.

Major UFO Incident At Cannon Airforce Base - Special Report (Photo)

By Brian VikeDirector of Kamloops British Columbia Canada UFO Research.

This UFO incident took place in 1976 over and around the Cannon Airforce Base which is located a few miles outside of Clovis New Mexico and was witnessed by a student of Journalism.

Bruce, who works for a major media outlet, witnessed the objects, and the jet aircraft that perused them, and who was fortunate to capture one of these objects on film.

A little background on Bruce around the time the incident took place: Bruce was working in the news department at Channel 3, the PBS station in Portales, New Mexico. In addition to working at the PBS station he held a couple of part time jobs with two of the local radio stations as well. At that time money was an issue due to Bruce being a college student. Working at the different media outlets it was giving him the experience he needed for his upcoming career in Journalism. One of the overnight jobs Bruce had was in Clovis, New Mexico at KMTY FM 99.1 which was at that time one of the 100 thousand watt radio stations in the country.

First Night's Encounter With Unknown Objects.

On January 21, 1976 Bruce received a call from the radio station manager to see if he would mind working as the station was going to do some performance checks on the transmitter. Bruce would stay out at a remote location where some of the station's equipment was located. This is how Bruce ended up at the right time, and the right place, to see the events that were about to unfold in front of him in the skies above.

A side note to this story is that Bruce was also a storm spotter for West Texas and Eastern New Mexico. Bruce was given a small kit which held a pair of binoculars, a note pad and a bunch of telephone numbers that he could call if a storm was spotted coming through the area.

Bruce had spent a lot of time at Cannon Airforce Base as he was in the civil air patrol. At that time his senior flight instructor had given him his primary flight lessons. Being on the base, and not in the military, Bruce had become friends with a lot of the base personnel. Since he worked at one of the local radio stations he would play requests that were called in from the base security and night maintenance. He got to know them all very well.

Bruce mentioned that Cannon was located between the University of Portales and Clovis and it was common to see the F-111's and Aardvarks taking off from the base with full afterburners carrying out nighttime flight operations.

Bruce arrived and was sitting in his truck at the location of the transmitter. While waiting for the phone to ring in the transmitter shack he noticed a number of pin-point lights popping up in the sky which appeared to look like light-bulbs on a string. Two of them dropped downward until they reached a lower altitude, stopped and hovered.

The lights were seen between his location and the Airforce Base at this time. While watching these strange objects Bruce grabbed the pair of binoculars he had with him. He describes the two lower lights as the classic saucer shaped craft and they had a bluish glow to them with a red radiant glow on the bottom side of the craft.

A small dome shape could easily be seen at the top of each of the two objects. In his estimation he believes the objects may have been at least 30 to 50 in diameter. The two objects were hovering parallel to one another and then started to move off at a slow rate of speed in perfect formation heading towards the Airforce base. Bruce said he followed them with his binoculars for approximately 15 minutes.

The objects flew past a number of buildings which were at the edge of the base and they proceeded to climb in altitude as to where they again looked like a small light in the clear night sky. Bruce said it looked as if the lights on, and in, the buildings were dimming due to the objects being in close proximity. Later after talking to base personnel, this proved to be true, the lights had dimmed, and the objects were noticed by the base personnel.

Bruce usually carried a small camera with him but on this day he had not brought it with him.

Bruce called the station as he was excited to talk about what he had just witnessed. Some of the other people at the station had also been watching the events unfold that night. Through Channel 3's connections they heard that the objects were widely seen by many that night and by the state police. An article was written on the objects seen that January.

Second Night's Encounter With Unknown Objects.

The next evening Bruce had gathered together a few people from the newsroom. Since Bruce was staying in a dorm on campus he knew a good number of folks on campus. He was able to get the keys for the door to the roof so Bruce and his friends could sit up on top of the building's roof to watch the skies just in case something should return. Although a cool night the group stood watching. This time Bruce did bring the camera.

Below Photo: Bruce was able to capture a photo of one of the UFO's.

At approximately 12:45 a.m. four objects dropped down from the night sky and started darting around. (This is where Bruce was finally able to capture an image of one of the crafts on black and white film.) As the people observed the objects, the Airforce Base had scrambled the F-111's jet fighters out of Cannon. The jet aircraft began trying to intercept the objects.

As the aircraft got close to the vicinity of the unknown objects, the objects, at an incredible rate of speed, would shoot across the sky making 90 degree turns leaving the fighter aircraft trailing way behind as they just weren't able to keep up with the strange craft. As the objects made unusual turns a plasma type glow could clearly be witnessed by the group of people watching the event.

The cat and mouse chase between the objects and jets went on for approximately 45 minutes. Because the witnesses were on one of the tallest buildings in Portales, New Mexico, they could clearly see the flight-line at the Base. One of the men had brought a 150 power telescope which enabled the fellows to see the objects fly at a low altitude over the flight-line. As the objects passed over the lights running down the flight line, all the lights went out.

Eventually the objects shot up and were gone in a second, or so, and the F-111's were recalled back to the Base and landed safely.

Bruce told me that a couple days after the second night sighting of the objects a couple of the Base security personnel had called and explained how the lights went out over the entire base. Of course, Bruce was asking a lot of questions at this point. The security officer from the Base told Bruce that everyone at the Cannon AFB were freaking out as they did not know what these objects were.

Also the security officer said that the Cannon base was bringing in new light towers from a SAC base in North Dakota to place on the flight line. The security officer told Bruce to keep an eye on the base as it would be really lit up after the new lighting was installed. A few days later the AFB was lit up brightly. Bruce talked to another military man from the base who said that the base had radar tape of the objects from both nights but certainly did not want Bruce to mention where the information came from.

Because there were others who were there who witnessed the events that took place over the Cannon Airforce Base I will be attempting to contact these witnesses to gather their reports on the event. One other important bit of information to this case is that there is a Freedom Of Information Act do*****ent to say that jet aircraft were scrambled out of the Cannon Airforce Base that evening in 1976. Although there has been no explanation as to why, this still gives us a valuable clue that something very unusual took place that night.

Update: After Bruce went public with his story on the Jeff Rense national radio program, he and his family were threatened. Bruce called me on July 20, 2004, after he appeared on the Jeff Rense radio program with me on Friday - July 16, 2004, when he told what he saw over the Cannon Airforce Base back in January 21, 1976.

Bruce told me on the air that he had taken a black and white photograph of one of the objects that had been observed out-maneuvering the jet aircraft which were scrambled from the Cannon AFB. On July 20, 2004 at approximately 1:30 a.m. Bruce had a disturbing telephone call from an unknown person and the report on this is below.

Bruce wanted to point out to me that he does carry two cell phones with him at all times. One is for business, etc.. and the other is for personal business to keep in contact with family and close friends. He stated that no one had his private cell number as it was not listed and the only people that had this number were his wife, children, and some close friends. His children are grown up and now living on their own.

Bruce kept his cell phones on the night table. His work phone turned off, but the private phone turned on, just in case one of his children might need to contact him in case of an emergency.

As I mentioned above, it was around 1:30 a.m., Bruce and his wife had turned in for the night and were sound asleep when his cell phone started ringing. Knowing that he had his work cell phone turned off he knew it was a call from one of his children, and of course being a parent, he worried as he grabbed for the phone.

Bruce answered with a hello and a voice spoke back saying, "Mr. Bruce (last name). Bruce said there was a very professional sounding gentleman on the other end. The man said he needed to talk to him about a matter of utmost urgency! Bruce still half asleep asked the man who he was, what was this call was all about, especially at this hour of the morning. The fellow said this is about your recent radio appearance and discussion about some photographs that you took back in New Mexico.

At this point in the conversation Bruce said to the man, "you have to be kidding me," thinking this had to be some kind of hoax, asked who was this. The man said there is no need for you to know who I am. He went on to say, "it would be in your best interest to discontinue this line of discussion and do away with those photographs. Destroy them!"

Bruce at this point is in shock about this man. He looks on the cell phone to see what phone number is displayed and it shows "number not available". The man told Bruce that "this is no joke and 'we' feel that this would be in your best interest, and for the sake of your family, that all of this go away."

Bruce told the man that if he wasn't willing to reveal himself then the conversation would be terminated. The man then went on to tell Bruce what his children were involved in, meaning their daily activities, where they lived, etc.., what Bruce's wife was doing, such as personal activities within the family, etc.. and said that he could fax Bruce his life's history within a few seconds. That was it, Bruce hung up and that ended the call with the stranger.

After this incident took place and some weeks had gone by, a neighbor of Bruce's caught up with him outside one day and told him that they had been seeing a lot of traffic in and out of Bruce's property. Cars would pull up and stay for a while and then drive off.

Other times the cars would pull into the driveway, stop, and men would get out and walk around the home. Then they got back into their cars and drove off. These cars that were coming and going had government license plates on them.

One other interesting fact to this story is that Bruce put together a package for me, Jeff Rense, George Filer and Peter Davenport. In this package there was a copy of the photo he had taken over the AFB. Bruce mailed out the packages to us all and not one of us have received the information. Bruce says he is going to try again and send it through a different means. I hope once I receive the material I can update this story.

So that is where this story stands right now.

I would like to extend my many thanks to Bruce for coming forward with his story.

Canadian Forces Base Comox, B.C. Unknown Object Observed

UFO or Orb over Canadian Forces Base Comox September 11/2005

At approximately 5:30 PM, I was observing some cloud manipulations in the sky over the military base. My eyes wandered over to a hole which was forming in a set of clouds and noticed a small white-ish object, or the light made it appear white. It certainly looked brighter than the surrounding clouds which themselves were rippled with electromagnetic waves.

At first I figured it was a plane, but it wasn't long before I realized it was spherical in nature and had no wings. It came right out of a hole in the cloud. I quickly grabbed my camera which I had nearby and tried to bring the object into my lens field..but I couldn't see it through the lens. So I pointed the camera in the direction of where I had seen the object and snapped a photo anyway, hoping to catch it.

I then lowered the camera back down and looked for the object with the naked eye but it was no longer visible to me. This entire event unfolded in the span of about 15 seconds. The object had vanished although I didn't see it leave.

I uploaded the photo and spent about a half hour or so attempting to find the object on my computer. I was almost ready to give up and toss the photo into the recycle bin. It's a good thing I didn't because I managed to spot the orb. It was so far away it appeared as a tiny dot in the photo.

I reversed the image and tried solarizing it. The object was easier to make out after that but still not the best so I saturated the contrast a bit and zoomed in...so it isn't very clear, yet you can still make out an unmistakable object. I could see that the object was on the earth-side of the clouds, and would have to be behind the clouds to be a star, moon, satellite, or a planet of any kind.

This seems to me, a lot like the one which was caught on video tape in Port Alberni and ran on the news a few weeks ago just down island from me. It has been suggested that these UFO's or Orbs appear in areas where the woodpecker or HARRP grid are being tuned-up. Apparently these objects sometimes appear at locations of grid intersect. Interestingly, there was a lot of electroscalar magnetic activity going on overhead at the time.

The Comox Valley area is seeing a literal epidemic of chemtrail spraying, magnetic waves and odd shaped clouds. Sometimes I can sit and watch them fiddle and move the clouds around before my very eyes.

I have the photo if you'd like me to send it to you!

Thank you to the witness for the report.

Additional Information:

The object came out of a hole in the clouds, from what appeared to be the east, and it moved toward the west a short distance before slightly slowing down and turning a little bit to the left (northerly). From my vantage point, the object decided to go toward the cloud it was next to. In other words, as soon as it came out of the hole, it went north a bit. That's when I scrambled for my camera which was nearby. I had to stop looking at the object to get the camera. What happened in those few seconds, I don't know for sure, but judging from where it first came out of the hole to where it was located after viewing the image on the computer, it had not gone far during the time I was getting the camera and positioning it to get the shot. I would say it had become almost stationary for a few seconds. The movement seemed fairly straight and normal at first. The object was moving forward, towards my direction, but then slowed and I reiterate that it seemed to saunter a little bit northerly. It wasn't the movement of a plane at all. It was the sudden turn which got my attention in the first place. Something clicked in my mind and I knew it was not a plane.

I couldn't see it when I tried to find it with the camera. So I just pointed the camera in the direction I had seen it and snapped a photo in hopes of inadvertently catching the image. The object appeared almost directly over the military runway which is near the oceans' edge and there was no obvious sound. There were no other aircraft flying in the area that I could hear. I am a very well-tuned aircraft observer due to having lived near the base for 18 years. I can identify planes and jets just by their sound, without even seeing them. There was no sound coming from this object. No sound!

I do not recall there having been much wind, but I could be wrong about that. I don't think it could have been very windy, because I usually take notice of that.

Residual sunlight may have been reflecting off the front of the object because it was late in the afternoon and the sun would have been west of the object at the time. It did appear to have a brightness about it that stood out from the lightness of the clouds. It contrasted very clearly with the naked eye, but the actual photo doesn't do it justice. I didn't see any flashing at all.

I can say that the object did take on an increased brightness after it made its full appearance. It was as if someone had shone some sunlight at it. It could have been the sun shining on it or the increased brightness could also have come from the object itself. I simply can't be sure about that. I can't even be sure if the sun was behind the mountains or not as it would be behind my house and beyond the trees which are all around me. It was broad daylight though.

I don't know of any other witnesses. This is not to say there aren't any others who saw it. There could be. My daughter was just inside the house when it happened. It happened and was over so fast that I was too wrapped up in getting the photo for fear of missing it to have been able to summon my daughter to witness it with me. If I would have taken those precious seconds out to summon her, I would have missed getting the photo. It was gone within seconds. I just knew I had to get a photo. My daughter helped me search the image for the object and was surprised to see it was real.

I would say that the time that lapsed from the moment I saw it come out of the hole in the clouds and the time I turned around to get my camera on the chair was about ten seconds. It took another 10 seconds (maybe) to search again for it so I could take a photo. I immediately realized I couldn't see it and was wasting time looking for it because it was so hard to see in the first place. Rather than waste precious time looking for it again, I decided to just hold the camera up, pointing in the direction I had seen it, and snap the photo. I wasn't hopeful that I had captured anything.

After I snapped the photo I tried to search for it and couldn't find the object again. It was either inside the cloud or gone. I don't know which. There was no activity in the way of planes before or after I saw the object. In fact, it was a relatively slow day for planes.

I saw another objects in the picture to the right of the main object. You can see it if you really strain to look at the original shot. In fact, it almost looks as if there are multiple smaller similarly shaped objects that seem to form an arc shape to the upper right, not far from the main object.

You really have to play with the image to see them. I hope you can see the others in there. I focus on the main one because it was the only thing I saw with my eye. The other smaller ones only show up in the photo and were not readily obvious to me when I was seeing the primary object.

Thank you to the witness for their report.
