Ball Of Fire Over Mission British Columbia

Brian Vike's Favorite Cases.

Date:  December 25, 2010

Time:  7:30 p.m.

Location of Sighting: Mission British Columbia.

Number of witnesses: 6

Number of Objects: 1

Shape of Objects: Round.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: After dinner I went outside for a smoke. In the northeast sky noticed a bright light. It appeared to be a ball of fire, you could even see flames. It moved about the speed of a small aircraft and given the fact that it was completely overcast and raining. I figure it was at approximately 2000 feet as it passed from east to west.

The ball of fire was obscured by the back of what ever it was. We watched the news that night expecting to hear of a small plane catching fire and crashing, but nothing was reported. Any ideas as to what this was? Thanks.

Thank you to the witness for the report.

Orange Colored Fireball Over Stave Lake Road In Mission British Columbia

Brian Vike's Favorite Cases.

Date:  December 24, 2009

Time:  Approxamtlty 1:30 a.m.

Hi there, you asked if anyone else has seen the same kind of sighting as you so, I am sending you a quick email to tell you that I have, seen what I think is exactly like what you saw in as close of a proximity as would be relevant to your request for others to notify you.

Firstly I was online searching UFO's because I had the most amazing sighting over the Dewdney area last night, it was as up close of a sighting as I could have hoped for, but I won't go into details because it is late and I don't feel like trying to describe all that here and now.

The sighting as it relates to you, happened December 24, 2009 probably 1:30 in the morning, my wife and I we're coming down Stave Lake road in Mission and as we passed 7th Ave, and we noticed what could be best described as a fireball orange-ish in color and moving along low in the sky, above the river and it moved slowly just as you described we pulled over and must have watched it for 4 or 5 minutes until it was out of view, there is and was nothing I can find beyond UFO to explain this.

Thank you, good luck in your efforts to bring awareness on this topic.

Thank you to the witness for the report.

My girlfriend and I were driving home and on the Mission Highway (between Abby and Mission driving towards mission)

I looked out the right of my car and saw a red light accompanied by an orange light not to far from it hovering in the air and not moving at all.

Dull Grey UFO Changes Into Bright Round Circle Of Light Seen Between Mission And Maple Ridge British Columbia

Date:  September 28, 2014
Time:  5:45 p.m.

Hi Brian, don't know if you remember me, I reported a UFO over Derby Reach Park viewed from my house in Maple Ridge a few years ago.

My wife also made a report last week of some circular orange lights over the Lougheed near 216th last Sunday night while driving her motorcycle.

Well we saw something else today, both of us and in daylight.

Today was the Oyster Run in Anacortes, WA and we took off early this morning from Maple Ridge for this event. Never seen so many motorcycles in one place in my life! We decided to return to Canada late afternoon and opted to cross at the Sumas Crossing.

The lineup was horrendous, but we have NEXUS, but even then had to drive around Sumas to find a way to "sneak in" the NEXUS lane which was totally empty. Major time saver that NEXUS, especially with a motorcycle when you have to endure the heat from idling in hot summer weather.

Anyways, we made it across the border around 5:15 p.m. and headed to the Lougheed via Hwy 11 through Abbotsford and over the bridge to Mission.

The weather was ideal this afternoon for an early Fall ride with clear skies and temperature around 17C (I have temp gauge on my motorcycle).

We got on the Lougheed in Mission and headed towards Maple Ridge. There was some traffic, lots of motorcycles and managed to speed our way ahead of a large pack of really slow Harley's (we just zoomed to the head of the pack, my wife gave me the big thumbs up! LOL).

The sun was at about the height the trees on the Fraser River side of the Lougheed and quite bright. While approaching the traffic lights near 280th, I noticed a brilliant point of light that looked like the light from an arc welder, in the sky, to the right of the sun at a distance of about a hand's width at arms length from the sun.

The light itself was about the size of  pea again at arms length. I honked my horn to bring what I was seeing to my wife's attention (she rides her own motorcycle, a 1400 CC Concours) and when I got her attention I pointed to the light in the sky.

She was ahead of me with her motorcycle and got a better view. She says the light was very bright and not moving. It then it seemed to twist and after that it disappeared totally. There was no object, plane or other in the sky where the light had been.

This was strange as if it had been a reflection on a plane we would have seen the outline of the plane or a dark dot or something where the light had been.

We kept riding until we got home and then discussed our sighting. Decided we'd contribute to your blog again. There was a fair amount of traffic on Lougheed, heading towards Maple Ridge at that time, so hope that someone else saw what we saw.

Keep up the great work, hope all is well with your health and that we continue to read your reports for a long time to come. Your work is very appreciated and I have "converted" a few of my Facebook friends to reviewing your blog as well.

Take care - let me know if you have any questions for me.

Additional Information: Second witness to the sighting that was reported above.

OMG, you are not going to believe this, today my partner and I seen a UFO on way back from Anacortes Oyster run. This is the 2nd sighting I have had in a week, except this was is broad daylight at 5:45 p.m. on our bikes going down the Lougheed from Mission to Maple Ridge.

I was headed Westbound to Maple Ridge with my partner behind me. Then all of a sudden he honks his horn. I looked in my rear view mirror and could see him pointing up.

I looked up in the sky and seen what I thought was a plane. It was a dull grey object, then it turned into a bright round circle of light then it sort of turned sideways and from what I could tell turned a shiny silver color. (I think it was the sun reflecting against it because it looked like a mirror).

Once it went sideways, it just shot up and disappeared into thin air!

It makes me wonder if someone is trying to get my attention or give me a message, or just say a friendly hello. At least I have a witness this time. No pictures again, however as we were both on our motorbikes and it happened very quickly.

The highways were very busy, perhaps someone else seen or noticed it too I'm hoping.

If anyone has witnessed the light/object, please send me an email with details of what you saw. Please remember to include the date and time and location. (Town/City – State or Province) and as much detail as possible.

Ball Of Orange And Yellow Light Over Hatzic Bench Mission British Columbia

Date: March 27, 2011
Time: Approx: 8:35 p.m.

Hello my name is (name removed), and on the night of Sunday, March 27 2011 at approximately 8:35 pm, my wife and my two sons witnessed what appeared to be a ball of orange and yellow light coming over the Fraser river from the southwest at a very low altitude for several minutes. Thinking it was a plane on fire, we watched it climb into the northeast sky, flicker like a candle, and appear to fall.

We live on Hatzic Bench, so the fireball was clear for approximately 2-4 minutes. I have subsequently reported it to the Non-emergency line at Mission and Abbotsford police. They have no record of any planes crashing however they did acknowledge that they had at least one other report of this kind.

Hope this helps to find out what we saw. Thanks.

Orange Light Seen Above Mission British Columbia

Date: March 27, 2011
Time: Approx: 8:30 p.m.

Hi, last night my wife and I were diving home north on Cedar Street at around 14th Ave in Mission B.C. at around 8:30pm when I noticed an orange light moving quite slowly from west to east in the sky in front of us. I had no idea how high it was, but I pulled over and watched for about three or four minutes and it disappeared behind the clouds.

I waited for it to reemerge, but it never showed up again. I have never seen anything like this before and I have been looking up a lot this past year. I Googled orange light in the sky, Mission and came across another report on your blog that was in the same area, but three lights! Very interesting. Anyway I thought I would report it to someone. Thanks, (name removed) Mission B.C.

Three Orange Lights Above Whonnock Or Mission British Columbia

Date: March 27, 2011
Time: Approx: 8:28 p.m.

Hi Brian, just wanted to let you know that my husband and I, along with a neighbor saw three orange lights again this evening. (March 27th It was at about 8:28 PM, they came from the northeast, but this time they formed a triangle over (probably) Whonnock or Mission, and then just climbed basically straight up until they disappeared.

Again, they were visible for 3 or 4 minutes. Our neighbor was fairly freaked out, as were we.

Did anyone else see this tonight?

Stave Lake Mission, British Columbia Flying Saucer

Posted: July 19, 2008

Date: July, 16, 2008
Time: 2:00 - 3:00 a.m.

Location of Sighting: Stave Lake.
Number of witnesses: 3
Number of objects: 1
Shape of objects: Circle.

Full Description of event/sighting: I was camping At Stave Lake with some friends last night with some friends. At about 1:00 AM everybody went to there tents for some sleep. Me and my friend didn't want to sleep so we started talking. My friend was outside by the fire, by himself. I have to point out that the Stave Lake Flats (or what wasn't underwater) is in a valley with mountains to the East and West, but you can see South to North for an extremely far distance. Between the times of 2:00-3:00 AM I looked through the top of my tent at the stars, and in the corner of my eye to the left (South) was a bright light. This light caught my attention because at first I thought it was a shooting star. But it wasn't moving that fast (or so I thought) The light bigger and brighter and eventually I started to see some definition in the light. But it wasn't just one light. To my surprise it was an almost stereotypical flying saucer. It had a large light in the center with either 6 or 8 little lights in a circle around the main center light. At first I thought that the bug net on the top of my tent so I zipped open the door and looked up and it was even clearer than before.

I told everyone to look up and the two of my friends who where awake both saw it. My friend admitted that it was a UFO and he doesn't believe in that kind of stuff. Since the lights on the craft were so crisp in the sky and I could see its hull/body clearly I predict that it was at about 10,000-20,000 ft. in the air, and had a circumference of about 100 feet or more, but it was hard to tell because it was dark. I don't know if it was alien or a government test craft but I would like to know if anyone else saw it. P.S. it was traveling faster then any aircraft I've ever seen!

Thank you to the witness for their report.
